3501  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 09:30:18 PM

ok there must be some miscommunicaion, I thought these numbers #12017424 #12019147 #12022024  were the unclaimed transaction numbers.

Its no problem, we will get it sorted out..

Yes, I think you own 3/4 of the unclaimed 1 BTC transactions. But, I wasn't sure exactly which ones it was because there was 4 unclaimed 1 BTC transactions. Therefore, I didn't want to just write your name in there until I can figure out EXACTLY which transaction ID was yours. I want to stay organized.

Any way you could get me the address you sent from or a transaction ID? I could locate the transactions in like 1 second.

Thanks,

Ch
3502  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 09:26:07 PM
At this point I'd like to start addressing the different scenarios that COULD happen from this point towards the moment these machines are hashing.

For example, we need to consider the possibility of additional fees and how they are handled and what CoinHoarder is comfortable with.

Should we have a wallet set up, where we could put bitcoin to cover any unexpected fees, or is it all covered in the 3% hosting?

In a perfect world unexpected things never occur though, but we're not living in one, so I think we need to do some kind of a threat analysis.

I am providing some things to the group at no costs. I have been using this equipment to run my GPU farm, and so I know it will do the job just fine:

240v power adapters that fit any stove/dishwasher connection (I had a local electrician make them for me)

Three 240v 30amp PDUs (basically a really big power strip for 240v)

Seven 240v C13 to C14 power chords to power all Avalons

Black wire industrial-like metal racks that will be good for putting the Avalon's on

Wifi & also wired switches & ethernet cables for 7 Avalons (I'm not sure which I will use yet)

The only thing I might buy is buy a portable A/C to help my central air out and improve electric efficiency, but I will pay for this out of my own pocket, no worries.
3503  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 08:22:49 PM
Everything looks fine to me CH.

Down the road we should talk about Buy/Sell what we have invested in, Either between users or people who want in/people who want out. But I know that's far enough down the road as not to be a worry now. Just something to think about.

Some people have contacted me wanting to sell their shares already. I asked them to wait a bit while I confirm all deposits and identities. I have no problem with people selling their shares if they want to, I just want to get the books straight first. I know myself and a few others that have posted here ITT would be interested in buying shares for people that want out.

Anyone that replied/PMed me with updated info for the spreadsheet, your information should now be correct. I will leave yellow transactions yellow for the time being to give anyone the proper time to object.
3504  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 11:09:01 AM
You have me 100% for my three investments/

Great work CH. My apologies for not making it any easier.

Thanks again

Hi, I can't remember if I PMed you back or not, but yes I found your third transaction.

Thanks!

3506  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Them BFL Cowboys on: March 29, 2013, 10:22:16 AM
Entropy. You are a moron. Yes, they missed the power targets so far, but they are shipping, and the asics work.

God you are a troll.
Ahahaha LOL

Suure, now they're shipping..

No, now they said they're gonna ship next week.

I think they've said that about 10 times at least.
3507  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 09:55:46 AM
Happy as a clam... all complete and correct for me

Good!  Smiley

For me everything is correct.

CH, thanks for your effort Wink

No problem sir, glad to hear!  Grin

ATTENTION INVESTORS:
The four unknown 1 BTC deposits into the group account have been claimed by thomashrev89 (1 BTC) and jargoman (3 BTC Total in 3 transactions). They claimed these deposits before I posted the spreadsheet.

Unless anyone has any objections, I will credit these amounts and deposits to them. If someone else wants to claim those deposits or make an objection, proof will be needed that you actually made the 1 BTC deposit instead of them. I will not update the spreadsheet with their information until I give ample time for someone to object. The only reason why I haven't credited them yet like I have everyone else, is because they gave very vague descriptions of their transactions, and I'm not exactly sure whose transaction is whose.

The other yellow transactions never contacted me at all (if you did, PM me your info again please!) I checked every post of this thread, 14 pages of PMs here on BitcoinTalk, and 2.5 full pages of Btc-e PMs to put the spread sheet together, and tried to match it to the block chain the best I could. But, I could of missed something. I encourage you guys to check my work.

Thanks,

Ch

3508  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: March 30th BFL ASIC update on: March 29, 2013, 09:11:32 AM
BFL shipping next week? LOL

I'll believe it when I see it..  Roll Eyes

Also... 400 units a day? ROFL

Avalon can only produce about 600 units a month with their awesome assembly/production equipment.

BFL bought their assembly/production equipment off of Ebay (TRUTH), lol. 400 units a day... that's comedy!

Somehow BFL thinks they will be 2000% more effecient in assembling electronics than the Chinese.  Roll Eyes Cheesy

Must be those unicorn hairs Inaba keeps referring to.  Wink
3509  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 08:19:04 AM
Everything looks good here. Transaction IDs and pay out address match for my deposits.

Good Smiley

I think I got most everybody down correctly, there may be some errors, but hopefully you guys will bring them to my attention if so.

The main problem as of now are the mystery transactions that don't have owners.
3510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 08:06:18 AM
ATTENTION INVESTORS.... VERY IMPORTANT.... READ THIS WHOLE POST:

I have been organizing a spreadsheet, it is basically a ledger of every transaction I made while raising funds, buying Avalons, giving refunds, me transferring over BTC to pay bitcoin network fees for refunds then back to myself again, etc... I tried to be as error free as possible, but I am human...

The list is sorted by user name.... I need EVERYONE to:
Please find your user name
Confirm that the amount you deposited is the amount you are credited
Check your Bitcoin pay out address (the address you wish to receive dividends)
Make sure your transaction ID is actually YOUR deposit (check times/addresses if unsure).

If there is a dispute over ownership of funds deposited, they can be taken up with me by PM. There are several ways I will confirm that it was you that deposited the funds. If you sent from an address you can both send and receive from like I suggested in the OP, then this process is simple. Unfortunately, if you deposited from an exchange, the only way I can confirm that YOU sent those funds is by logging onto your exchange account and looking at your withdraw history. Withdrawals on exchanges come from multiple random addresses, and it is impossible for me to confirm this was you otherwise. If someone has a better idea to confirm these transactions let me know.

All transactions in yellow I do not have matched up to a BTCTalk forum name. Some transactions I couldn't find simply because the information you sent to me was so vague and/or came from an exchange. Please PM me if you think one of these is yours.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/i4y39igtaq722pd/Avalon%20Group%20Buy%20Investment%20Transactions.xlsx

I hope you guys are happy with your investment, I am happy to provide this service for your guys.

This spreadsheet is not final. It will be edited, corrected, and verified until it is perfect so we are ready when our Avalon's come, I am trying my best to collect all transaction information and their owners.

PS: What kind of scammer would go through this much trouble ^^^  Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
3511  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 07:32:15 AM
I'm one of the people who sent multiple funds. All from Btc-e. To make things easier these are the transactions. They all made it on time before the fifth unit. I sent the decimals when we were a few btc short lol bitcoin frenzy

#12017424         1

#12019147         1

#12022024         1

#12113314         1.05744785

#12114909         2.33304114

total                  6.39048899

This doesn't make things much easier unfortunately... I received a lot of 1 BTC transactions. I found your #12114909 and #12113314, but there are a total of 4 unclaimed 1 BTC transactions. See the spreadsheet below. I think your transactions might be 3 out of those unclaimed transactions, but I'm not sure which ones. Please send any extra information you have, if you have a transaction ID I can find them instantly.
3512  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 07:24:17 AM
i'm on time to send you my contribution?

No, sorry. I'm done accepting investors.
3513  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 12:38:10 AM
Just out of curiosity, how many people do we have in this group buy?

I will know in a couple days or so. Some people sent in funds two/three/four times, so I'm still working on this.

As for the pool discussion, we have a while to decide what we will do in regards to that. I'd like to hear more investor's opinions when it comes to what pool we should use, solo mining, or p2pool.

I had a 4:30 meeting that lasted until 7 tonight  Cry, but the rest of my night is going to be dedicated to figuring out ownership interest. I have about 14 PMs that I need to respond to, that is first on my to do list.

Cheers,

Ch
3514  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 28, 2013, 07:19:31 AM
Ok it's nearly 2:15 AM here. I am done figuring out ownership for the night. I am probably about 50-75% done.

Some of you have PMs because there was a problem with your transaction information, or I needed a payout address.

At least a few of you I have asked to verify your ownership of the bitcoin address you sent funds in with. Don't take this personal, I am just looking out for the other investors in making sure that everyone that will get paid actually invested with us.

For those of you that missed this info, I work 8-5 central time mon-fri and am usually unavailable during those times. Sometimes I have free time to pop in on the forums just to read about things, but not much time to respond to the many PMs, etc. I am dealing with. So please excuse me if I don't get back to you until the evening.

Thanks ya'll and good night.
3515  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 28, 2013, 05:57:10 AM
Closer to 1 month breakeven then.

Those guys at Avalon priced it right.

Yes sir, I think it is a fair price.

Even if BFL starts shipping, I doubt they'll ship at a very fast rate where it will affect us too much (judging by the release of their fpga line which took months to fill all their preorders.)
3516  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch #3 - order "on-hold" ? on: March 28, 2013, 05:05:09 AM
All of the orders that I paid for say "processing"

All of the orders I didn't pay for say "on hold"

So... something is definitely wrong in your transaction. I'd contact Bitsyncom directly, hope you get it worked out. :\
3517  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 28, 2013, 04:53:10 AM
Yes! Out of posting purgatory....

I'm getting a hardware breakeven of 2 weeks, which would be phenomenal!  Of course, that is at the current difficulty rate.

Congrats  Grin  Tongue

You must add all Batch 2 Avalons to the current network speed. I believe in Batch 2 they did not have the 4 module option, so this would be a crude difficulty estimate:

37800 + 49600              X
------------------ = ------------------         X= 12210264.5766129
49600                     6,929,395

37800 = Batch 2 Avalons (600 Batch 2 units * 63Gh each = 37800 Gh)
49600 = Current Network Speed
6,929,395 = Next estimated difficulty
X = Estimated difficulty with all Batch 2 Avalons hashing

Also, there are still some Batch 1 Avalons that haven't been delivered yet.

3518  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 28, 2013, 03:46:16 AM
Hello everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm excited to be a part of the group. I got 8 BTC in the mix!

Does that equate to roughly a 1/103 (8btc/824btc)? Just checking to see if I have roughly the right numbers. Also, with 8 4mod units we have 640,000 mh? or 640/gh.  I enjoy a little trading and collecting. Thanks for any help out there.

I think when I was really sleepy in a couple posts I might of said I ordered 8 four module Avalons. However, the group only raised enough to buy 7 four module Avalons (you can check the block chain of the group fund address if you don't believe me.)

That's an estimated 595,000 Mh @ 5600 watts.

Hi, I've been working on the numbers all night and am maybe about 1/2 through confirming investors deposits, payout addresses, and forum names. I took a break to check the forums and.. umm... crunch some more numbers.

A crude estimate of your monthly portion of the profits can be calculated by using the following formula:

(X-409.08) * .98 * .97 * (Y/715.694) = Your portion of profit in USD

Note: Enter X in USD and Y in BTC
X= Net profit (without power costs/pool fee/my fee)
409.08 = Power costs I expect to be about $409.08/month
.98 = pools 2% fee (may be a little more or less depending on what pool we choose)
.97 = my 3% fee
Y= your investment in BTC
715.694 = total amount invested in BTC (this number is not exact, but very close)

With the above formula, use any Bitcoin mining calculator with these numbers: 595,000 Mh @ 5600 watts.

I hope my above math is correct, someone please check me. I have been dealing with numbers with many decimal places for hours now.. at my day job aswell..  Cry  Cheesy
3520  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 27, 2013, 11:13:30 PM
Let me clear up some misinformation about power issues that others have said ITT. Some people have hit the nail on the head, but some have been pretty far off as well.

First of all, the standard US home uses 120v and 240v, not 220v like some others have suggested.

People are correct in saying you can only use 80% of the amps of a circuit safely running at 24/7 continuous load.

I will be running this equipment on a 30a 240v circuit and a 60a 240v circuit.

Amps x Volts = Watts, So... [(30 x 240) + (60 x 240)] * .8 = 17280w

I could run 17280 watts of Avalons safely from the 240v circuits I have ready to go.

I only expect the Avalon's we purchased to used about 5600w of power (800w x 7).

Therefore, I already have the power infrastructure to run many more than 7 Avalons as is. People are making this out to be a bigger deal than it really is.
