AS Roma will have new forward Tammy Abraham and get issues Chelsea will sell his forward to AS Roma, just waiting with official announcement because Chelsea success get Lukaku from Inter Milan and they have many forward after Warner, Lukaku and Kai. I hope Tammy can be success in AS Roma and give more competitive for Juventus and AC Milan, I never choose Inter Milan as candidate to be champion because they have sell many good player right now.
After the great success with Chris Smalling, AS Roma are trying to buy another player from Premier League. Tammy Abraham is a young and good striker and this transfer is good for Roma. There are news that Roma and Inter Milan are finalizing the transfer of Edin Dzeko. If Dzeko moves to Inter Milan to replace Lukaku there, Abraham will fight with Mayoral for the striker position in Roma.

don't underestimate As Roma who are currently bringing in top coaches like Jose Mourinho and also players from origin. Chelsea's Tammy Abraham to deepen their squad to compete for the Scudetto title this season
AS Roma have good defenders and attacking players but their midfielders are not too good. Only Pellegrini and Zaniolo are good for attacking but Zaniolo is very vulnerable to injuries. I hope he will be strong in the new season with Roma and Mourinho.

With the signing of Lukaku Chelsea's squad is now complete and ready for EPL title challenge this season and equally defend their UCL title,  EPL will witness a very competitive and exciting competition, Lukaku has a lot to offer as complete striker, who is very competent in front of goal unlike Werner who wasted a lot scoring chances last season fortunately he is not a stranger or newcomer in EPL having previously had a stint with Chelsea, Everton and Man Utd, I hope he also contend for the highest goal scorer at the end of the season.
In the new season of Premier League, I think Chelsea and Manchester City will fight for the trophy, Liverpool, Manchester United will have to fight for 3rd and 4th positions against Tottenham, Leicester and some surprising clubs.

It would be difficult for Manchester United and Liverpool to win the trophy.

If Chelsea want to do well next season, they need an experienced striker. Don't rely on Werner. He is not experienced. As we saw in the previous season, he missed many easy opportunities. If the EPL title is the goal now there is no option but to take on an experienced striker team. Although Werner did not play well last season, Sadio Mane's outstanding performance helped Chelsea win the Champions League. This year too they will make huge mistakes if they rely only on Mane.
Lukaku is a player of Chelsea, isn't it? The striker problem in Stamford Bridge is solved, at least in theory. With performance of Lukaku in Everton and Inter Milan, I think he will perform well in Stamford Bridge.

With Lukaku, Werner will be released from the striker position and it will help Timor has more contributions to the tactic of Chelsea. He is more dangerous when he does not play as a striker. He has almost everything to destroy opponent defense systems, just lack of good finishing skills and confidence to shot

Regardless, Barcelona shouldn't have lost Messi. If he had offered to pay his salary and get a 10% discount from the other players, I think the team would have accepted it. If this was done, of course, the balance in the team could be upset.
From what I understand, Messi can not cut his salary more than 50% because of La Liga rule as well. La Liga does not accept difference in salary between two seasons is more than 50%. Is it real rule from La Liga?

Quote
Hearing that Paris SG is interested in Messi, I read news that Barcelona management will complain about Paris SG. They claimed that the financial situation of the Paris team is worse than Barcelona.
This is another unprofessional response from Barcelona. If they can not keep Messi, they should respect him from all contributions he did for the club, and let him go. They should keep silent and support Messi for the new contract in PSG.

Oppositely to what they should do, they attacked PSG and tried to challenge Messi and PSG. I don't like it.

I can’t believe he’s really leaving Barca. Very sad speech, here is some of it -

https://twitter.com/ajenglish/status/1424350807571451905?s=21

Looks like PSG will be his destination, although no confirmation yet, only rumours.
Messi's unveiling? PSG have reserved the Eiffel Tower for August 10
Only rumor but if Messi leaves Barcelona, he does not have many clubs to choose. If he want to play in the Europe, Manchester City and PSG are best for him. However, Manchester City don't really need Messi because they have Grealish and are bargaining with Tottenham about Harry Kane. Kane is a more important target for Manchester City than Messi.

Rumor says PSG closed the deal with Messi but in the press conference, Messi told that he has yet chosen any club.
3526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 08, 2021, 02:42:24 PM
We all know that one day Messi will leave Barca and retire somewhere else but no one excepted him to quit this year. The last year he was angry, he wanted to leave at any cost and continued to play although he was very sad. Now while he was happy and wanted to stay in Barca, he was forced to leave. What a weird transfer window we have this year. It is better for Barca to accommodate to play without him in the other hand. They will have hard seasons coming and probably will be less competitive and might win nothing but they have to build their team again. It is possible to see Griezmann playing better also and making the void left by Messi less noticeable.
The press conference is very emotional: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx503iOdD3I

Messi does not have many seasons to play and he said in the conference that last year, he wanted to play but this year is very different, he wanted to stay but he can not.

If Messi only joins another club with a contract of 2 or 3 years, it does not a cost he wants to leave Barcelona. I read news that PSG only want to sign two year contract with Messi, with a clause to renew it one more year. The salary is higher than what Messi discussed with Barcelona before it was broken. But it is not higher too much.

Messi is a player that all clubs in the world would want. In Manchester City, I think he can ask for this and take an attack. However, I read that the club president of a team from Saudi Arabia offered 1 billion euros for a 3-year contract for Messi. I get excited even thinking about the possibility of playing in England. I hope we can watch him play for Manchester City instead of Paris SG.  Grin
Manchester City will not create their internal conflict by signing with Messi. They recently signed with Grealish and Pep admitted that they don't have interest in Messi.

I read some news that PSG hires Effiel tower to prepare for the welcome celebration for Messi like what they did with Neymar.

I can't wait to see Lukaku play against Villarreal in the Super Cup. He is indeed a talented player, and he will definitely make the squad stronger. Chelsea finally signed him for £97.5m. He is finally back after seven years he left the blues.
He is a target man and with Lukaku, Timo Werner will be given more open space to use his speed and his connections to team mates. Lukaku will be given good assist from his midfielders.

Lukaku will have more challenge from defenders in Premier League. In Serie A, he can use his strength to win against defenders in Italy but in Premier League, defenders are very strong.

If there's a massive dip, good opportunity happens for people who still wanted to buy at cheaper price but not that significant because right now it's impossible to have btc at below $35k. Lately price saturates at below $40k and only stayed at above $37k while green signals was potentially creating strong influence towards different interested buyers.
Massive dips in May and June are great times for long term hodlers to accumulate but at the same time, amateur investors or traders were fearful. If you think that the bull market has yet topped up, and believe it will continue with new all time highs, why did you reject opportunities to buy cheap Bitcoin with dips?

There are absolutely no BGL coins to buy on the crypto exchange... This is the data for DigiFinex. At the same time, I see that coins are constantly being bought, their support is taking place.

Soon people will realize that they missed good time and cheap price to accumulate Bitgesell coins on exchanges. We have another support from the general market, Bitcoin is bullish and altcoins are on the way up. They are all back to the bullish trains.

How do you get data for your table? Could you share how did you make this, please.

Shouldn't we take this as a warning to take this more seriously?
Security of altcoin networks are bad if you see their network hashrates that are too small. With too small hashrates, their networks can easily be attacked with low cost.

The transaction cost is very cheap and it was finished by several clicks.

The ability to send money in one click is both strength and weakness. This means that you could send millions of dollars by mistake and hackers could also steal them without any obstacles. With banks you would be contacted by them if someone tried to move a large sum of your money.
You can make a few clicks carelessly and lose your money with bank transfers or with Bitcoin.

With Bitcoin, the pros are you have your keys and you don't have to rely on governments, banks to broadcast your transactions. If there are miners on Earth, you can choose fee to include your transactions at tip of mempool. Your transactions will be confirmed by miners if the fee you give them is on tip of mempool.

Nobody can seize your Bitcoin if you don't leak your private key.
3532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 06, 2021, 04:25:52 AM
Well, if it is confirmed that Messi will move, then of course the big clubs in Europe will be willing to change their main squad to bring Messi, right? How not, Messi is still very charming on the field so this struggle will probably happen between City and PSG who still have issues bringing Ronaldo to PSG and Kane to City, if Messi is willing to move then these two teams could turn a corner to get Messi, of course. will leave Barcelona. It will be interesting and I will just wait for further news, and wonder which team Messi will choose in the future because I am sure some other big clubs like Juventus, Chelsea etc will be interested in getting Messi.
I don't think Juventus or Chelsea will have opportunity to get Messi. Additionally, they are not attractive enough to Messi. PSG and Manchester City are best candidates and between them, Manchester City might be more favorite by Messi because they have Pep Guardiola. Messi only have about 4 more seasons to play at best level and he does not want to gamble with a strange coach that he has never worked with.

If Messi joins Manchester City and they can get Kane, they will become the beast in the Europe. De Bruyne, Grealish, Kane, Messi, who can beat them?
3533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 06, 2021, 02:10:32 AM
now that barcelona doesn't have Messi i imagine that barcelona performance will be an average performance and that barcelona results will be average. does barcelona without messi have any chance of winning La Liga? in my honest opinion, this season's barcelona without Messi has no chance of winning the La Liga, as a real madrid fan I'm happy with this news because with it we'll face a weakened opponent, I'm already beginning to hope that real madrid can be champion of the la liga
Pedri and Ansu Fati will be their hope for the new era, without Messi. Without him, they will have more freedom to play on field and might grow up faster. Pedri in the Euro shows that he can play at highest level against top players.

I did not imagine this story because after all new contracts with Kun, Depay, I guess Messi will stay in the club. Leaving the club because of salary and can not cut it more. I don't know. Barcelona did not say what is the salary they can be able to pay for Messi but still meet the requirement of La Liga.

I was also surprised to read the latest news about messi's departure from barcelona, even though some time ago many media had reported that messi had agreed to extend his contract at barcelona even though on the condition of a pay cut but today all barcelona fans were shocked by the departure of their idol star so far and It seems that the current financial and structural constraints have completely destroyed Barcelona.
We should look forward to where messi will continue his career and of course with the current messi leaving will make the summer transfer market will be hotter...! Grin Grin
Messi agreed to cut his salary in order to stay in Barcelona but they failed to keep him there. The pandemic effects and their own financial problems don't allow them chance to sign a new contract with Messi.

We can not say anything about the decision of Messi. He has right to leave, after more than 20 years in Barcelona but he can do better if he really want to stay and want to end his career in Barcelona. Anyway, it is a story between Messi and Barcelona and finally it already ended. I will be shocked if Messi changes his decision again after all (burofax drama and this time).
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 11,230 BTC (~ 430M) transaction with fee at 0.00218 BTC ~$82. on: August 05, 2021, 01:47:43 PM
Well... Cheap, yes, but still they managed to overpay (by a lot)
Today, the maximum fee that should have gotten him into the next possible block should be around ~7 sat/byte, with dips of 1-2 sat/byte being ok.
For a 2263 bytes transaction, a 20.000 sat fee should have been overpaying, but they payed 200.000, so a ~$8 fee should have been more than enough but they chose to pay $80.... Not that it matters if you're transferring that much of value... They probably wouldn't have cared if they payed a $800 fee, i'm just saying that even that tiny fee (in comparison the the value tranferred) was grossly overpaying and not necessary by a longshot.
Perhaps they are rich and don't care about less than $100 in transaction fee.

Probably the guy who moved that transaction is unknowledgeable about Bitcoin transaction fee, don't know how to check mempool.

If the guy know this one https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#1,24h, the cost will be considerable lower than $82 as you explained. Mempool in last 24 hours drops to 1 sat/vbyte many times.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, Alaba is the only one that Real Madrid bought. Despite the financial difficulties, the rivals have seriously increased. Even Barcelona, despite the debts, was able to attract good players. I think that next season, Madrid will fight to get into the Champions League.
Real Madrid did not buy Alaba. They get him in a free transfer from Bayern Munich as far as I know.
David Alaba reportedly received a 17.7 million euro signing bonus by Real Madrid after joining the LaLiga Santander club on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.

Yes I think after Ramos and Varane leave he will be a centre-back. I think Alaba will partner with Militao at centre-back and have Carvajal and Mendy on left  and right
Militao is not a good central defender and Real Madrid need to find another one to replace Varane. Militao can play as substitution but he is not good enough to play as one of two main central defenders.

Carvajal and Mendy are good for two wings but Carvajal is not young and Real Madrid need to have plan to replace him in next few seasons as well. Marcelo is a good substitution for them, especially if Real Madrid need to attack more.

Romelu Lukaku has told Inter Milan he would like them to accept any suitable offer from Chelsea because he wants to join the Premier League team: Sky Sports
Lukaku played well in West Brom and after the successful seasons in Serie A, he want to return to Premier League to show how good he is there. It is more interesting that the wanted club with Lukaku is Chelsea. He joined the club in his teenages but failed and after about 10 years, will he return to Chelsea and prove that he can play at top-notch level for Chelsea?

The transfer of Harry Kane is what I thought of when he tried to stay in the stadium and walk around to say goodbye to Spurs fans. With this drama & his attention to leave as well as his current contract, I think Levy will let him go because this time Levy can sell Kane at most expensive price.

This is good news because intuition join and what the MicroStrategy does many institutions will follow it. And I think the employees who know about crypto will say "good idea". What happens if dump massive, i think this is only about the time and the price will recover, so MicroStrategy also must tell their client about this
Not only Micro Strategy, JP Morgan, Tesla but many long term holder entities are accumulating more Bitcoin and they accelerate their accumulating speed.

9 hours left till the London upgrade and if you want to control your ability to claim any forks from this upgrade, you must move your ETH to your own wallets. If you store your ETH on exchange wallets, you have to rely on them and whether they support or don't support forks.

However, if you want to move yours, you have to do it shortly now. Avoid to move yours 1 to 2 hours around the fork, it is risky.

We should also remember that they "sold" Varane as well, which means they could still use that money to get another defender if they think the same way as everyone here. I still think that they do not "need" another defender, of course it would be good I am sure but it doesn't really need to be forced, if they can't find a proper defender like they want they can wait another season to do that if you ask me, they can just survive this year for now.
Central defenders are scarce assets in football nowadays and scouts have to pick needles among the sea in order to find good central defenders. Then filter who are available for transfers. Most of good ones are in best clubs and they are not for sell.

I agree that Real Madrid will have serious defensive problems if they won't find any good replacement for Varane.

Why does he want to leave premier league?he is in the best league in the world,or is it the combative pattern of play by premier league club? Or he is having misunderstanding with his coach. He is a good player, and this will be like a shock to Mancity.
Manchester City is a big club and are readily to pay high salary for their players. They will win Champions League in a next decade if they keep up moving like that.

Laporte is playing with Ruben Dias, the best player of the last season, so will he leave Manchester City? I don't see how it happens. The squad of Manchester City is young and is rebuilt every year. They don't have problems with ageing like other big clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid.
