Bayern is indeed one of the richest clubs in Europe, they can buy the players they want, if Bayern need new players.
They are rich but it's not only and most important thing they have. Bayern actually have healthy finance which is different than other rich clubs like Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid or Barcelona. More clubs are like these. They rely on budget from owners and income from league, tournament. They over spend for player salary and when owners change their strategy financially for the club or the club has some fail in tournament, league which in turn affect income, they fall into financial crisis. Barcelona is such a club as well as Real Madrid. Manchester City and PSG totally rely on their owners. And I think at the end of the season Bayern will bring in at least one new defender to replace Suele. According to rumors Bayern want Antonio Rudiger whose contract
with Chelsea will expire soon. Hopefully Bayern can get Rudiger, because I was quite worried that relying on Upamecano would make Bayern's defense easy for opposing players to pass.
Rudiger is no longer young so I am sure he is not main target of Bayern. Bayern is a club with a strategic plan to sign with young and talented players. They aim at long term plans, not short term plans. We see they spent money to buy Lewandowski and used him in many years. Sane, Alaba, Gnarby, Coman, Davies, etc. they are all young players when they joined Bayern. Regarding your prediction that Dortmund will not harm Bayern at the end of the season, it is actually quite reasonable. But me and a few others might be a little bored when we see Bayern winning again.
It is better for Bundesliga if Dortmund can take the trophy from Bayern but it is very difficult mission for them. I personally don't believe Dortmund will succeed but I hope them will get it. |

Barcelona is lucky to sign him for free. Aubameyang was a great striker in Dortmund, he just did a mistake to choose Arsenal as his next journey. If he moved to Bayern or Real Madrid or Barcelona previously, he may have a different story. After many failed expensive transfers for Coutinho, Dembele, Griezman and some for defense system, finally Barcelona get a successful transfer for their attacking system, from free transfer. Aubameyang is no long young but with his good pace, he is still useful and he is not too vulnerable to injuries. Barcelona can expect more from him and if Aubameyang can combine well with Memphis Depay, it will be great for them. They together with Dani Alves will be leaders in a young ambitious team with Gavi, Gabi, Fati, etc. But for me, Arsenal management is stupid to waste the quality of a top striker like Aubameyang just because of uncertain problems. Well, Barcelona is very happy to have him on their squad now. Considering his performance in the last match, he is likely to shine again.  Arsenal made mistakes to sign a new contract with too high salary for Aubameyang. Previous seasons, they relied on him to have goals and points but after that contract, his contribution dropped a lot and he fell into conflict with coach then club. So Arsenal have to let him go. It's not a happy ending at least for Arsenal. |

I am hardly surprised at the defeat of PSG,they have an important match against Real Madrid in Bernabeu stadium and their full focus is there.They sure play the games in the Ligue 1 but their concentration is normally not being the same as the one they will have in the return leg against Real Madrid.
It is not acceptable result for PSG they have. But they can not blame on Champions League because PSG have good players for their second squad so that they can win many matches in Ligue 1 with their second Tier players. Neymar has never been in his best in this season. Over weighted, got injuries, lot of time to recover, unhealthy habit and he is going to his 30. If losing a striker is purely Manchester City's problem then I think Halaand is one of the more possible players for them compared to Kane. I don't see Kane fitting into Guardiola's strategy but it seems Halaand is much more suited to that position for Manchester City. Manchester City play well and get good results without a real striker. Pep builds up a good tactics without a striker but in some matches, they do need a world class striker to win. Just like what Kane did in the latest match against Manchester City. In my opinion, Kane is better than Haaland in short term because he is familiar with Premier League while Haaland is not. But in the long run, Haaland is better because he has a long career. Anway, Haaland tends to get more injuries in last 2 seasons which is risky for any club wants to buy him. Manchester City are now under pressure because I believe Liverpool will continue to do their best to deny City the title this season. There have been some tough games for them to play and now we don't lose hope of seeing City lose and drop points again.

I see a tough match here. Newcastle have started to improve their performance and also for them to avoid getting traped in the relegation zone, they have to secure more points. Although, I understand that in term of squad strength, Newcastle are incomparable. West Ham are far more better than them. But, Newcastle can probably surprise us with a winning. However West Ham didn't perform well in their last match, they actually drew against Leicester. And, they have to win against Newcastle so as to slide to the top 4 on the standings.
Time is unavoidable requirement for Newcastle to change gradually from a weak to a strong team. Even if they spend $1B in a single transfer season, it won't make them to be another Bayern or PSG. It takes months for new players to understand each other, get good connections from training and bring it to real matches. It takes time for them to change from lack of confidence to strong confidence. In addition, they can not convince best players to join them in a single transfer season. It's good for them to have such performance improvement and staying in Premier League will be a good achievement for them. At least they will be able to convince good players to move to Newcastle. I am pretty sure that there are tons of Spanish people (mainly from Barcelona I suppose) who will join you as well  since there are no English teams involved in this matchup, it should not really be any problem to support one. I supported PSG before this on a totally unrelated reason, whenever I check a team out that has NOTHING to do with me, from a totally different nation, I just ask myself "which one of their cities would I love to go for a vacation?" and in this case I prefer Paris over Madrid, not a huge difference but it is clear enough for me . PSG do have good players in their squad so that it is organic and natural to see their fan population increase with time. They have never stopped buying star players for their club. Stars come, stars go away but there are always bunches of stars in their team. From unknown reasonable fans, they will be converted to loyal fans with time. Just like Chelsea or Manchester City. Now they have big fan populations that support the club a lot from income by selling tickets, shirts, etc. as well as support in real matches. PSG will reach to the level of Chelsea sooner or later in this aspect. |

CBDCs will help governments to reduce cost of creating new money supply. Printing money from physical machines and factories will require more resources than minting new supply from the air. No factory, no thing, just change code for their CBDCs and mint more.
