Just over 6 weeks & we go again Tongue
I’m glad we don’t have to wait long for the action to return. I’m interested to see what transfers happen, I think Man City will spend big, Man Utd probably will too & Chelsea. I’m not sure about Liverpool but I think they need to, great XI but not great options on the bench.
3522  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC up 42% year to date while Gold did good at 28%. Will it carry on? on: July 28, 2020, 12:40:54 PM
Negative interest rates are a thing now, fiat money is going to drop in value due to constant money printing. People with money are getting out of fiat & into gold & bitcoin, I predict both will keep increasing in value whilst we go through a great depression due to covid.
3523  Economy / Speculation / Re: When we will see $12k Bitcoin once again? on: July 28, 2020, 12:37:15 PM
Weak hands are out of the game, a massive % of coins haven’t moved for over a year (I think 62%).
The halving cut the supply of new coins in half, supply is down. We’re moving in the right direction, $15,000 is possible this year imo.
3524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin touch $15K till end of 2020? on: July 27, 2020, 08:47:00 PM
Looks possible now, once honeybadger wakes up he’s very hard to stop once in full force. $15,000 definitely looks possible once the halving reduction in coins finally kicks in.

~

Honestly I watched the last match of Man City in Premier League and I agree that they are so strong. But let's see and surprises are what we wait for in football. It is a beauty of football.

Man City is really a good team. I was impressed with their last match against Norwich City, you know they won the match by 5-0. they attacked a total 31 times. on the other hand, Man City is the best scorer team on season 19-20. I am being a fan of Man City by watching their game-play and strategy on this season, hopefully next season they will be able to beat Liverpool and win the cup.

City are favourites to win the CL, I have a feeling for Bayern though, they just look a really well balanced unit. I would say PSG could go far but Mbappe suffered a bad injury on the weekend.

^  No on Bielsa please..  I'd like to see him at the EPL with Leeeeds.
As long as Leeds doesn't sell half the squad, Bielsa will stay in the club. He won't take any BS from the board if they start selling players, look at what happened when he left Lazio and Lille, both departures involved player transfers and disagreements with the boards

Monday rumours:

- Havertz to Chelski close to being a done deal (Source)

- Cavani to Leeds may not happen after all, the striker could be going to Benfica (Source)

- Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester keen on Coutinho (Source)

Havertz is going to be a huge transfer fee, I dunno if he's worth it. I’d prefer to spend that kind of money on Sancho.
Cavani would be good for Leeds.
Coutinho would be great in an Arsenal team I think, I dunno if he would suit a Mourinho team though.

Leceister threw away their shot at Champions league football. They had multiple chances to seal off a spot before missed it. Before we started talking about the battle for top 4, leceister was comfortably sitting in 3rd position with enough gap since the start of the season. But what did they do? They bottled it. They had an opportunity to nail Man Utd at the king power stadium yesterday. Well, Lecister is right where they belong – europa league as they can't survive in UCL with such performance.

Leicester had lot of injuries as the conclusion came close. They has most of the key players injured. Two of the main defenders were out for the rest of the season and one of the crucial player in attacking line- Maddison also got injured. Also their fixtures in the end were tough but still they had some easier fixtures, they weren't able to capitalise on chances when they could have thrown Chelsea from 3rd and they had to pay with their CL spot which they should have gotten. Anyway it's Europa for them now..

No excuse for Leicester imo, Brendan Rodgers has form for bottling it when his team is close to achieving something special (Liverpool in 2014, Gerrard slip comes to mind). Leicester were comfortably ahead of Man Utd for a long tike, after lockdown they just weren’t good enough.
3528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 26, 2020, 01:01:26 PM
I’m rooting for Leicester against Man United today; sadly though I think the teams to grab those last two CL places for next season will be Chelsea & Man Utd. Not a bad quartet to rep the PL in next seasons CL, Liverpool, City, Chelsea & United.

Eden Hazard, you’re right. Look at the table. I predict it’ll be an afternoon where at certain points one team is staying up, then they concede and they’re going down, yoyo type stuff. It’s going to be tough for Watford but they can do it.

Edit - Sorry, the columns on the pic are from left to right, Games Played, Points & then Goal Difference.

Nice pump, we need to close one day at $10000 per BTC though, then maybe we can start to prepare for launch.

3531  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is not safe! on: July 25, 2020, 08:05:07 PM
Most exchanges require KYC, it’s just the way it’s gone. We really can’t have it both ways, if we want full mainstream adoption & acceptance by banks etc we’re going to need to play by the rules, pay our taxes etc.
3532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 25, 2020, 06:36:52 PM
I’m not betting tomorrow, too many teams have nothing to play for which can lead to weird results. The game I’ll be watching though is Leicester vs Man Utd, should be an epic battle with CL football at stake.
3533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 25, 2020, 06:31:51 PM
Yeah guys, I don’t think Watford are going to make it you know but I’d love to be proved wrong on this.
We’ll see what happens but I think Arsenal will beat them, I guess the hope is Arsenal maybe rest players ahead of the FA Cup final.

Any chance of getting this thread back on topic? If anybody needs to discuss neymar’s case take it here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263445.0

This isn’t the place for multiaccount & KYC nonsense.

Right tomorrow, Leicester vs Man U, what do you think guys? Massive game to determine CL spots ahead of next season. I just think United will get a result.

Elsewhere fingers crossed for Watford although I fear for them.
3535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 25, 2020, 09:03:33 AM

exactly, Atalanta is very reminiscent of last year's Ajax, but Atalanta doesn't have the same glorious history as Ajax, which makes it more fascinating.

Atalanta have great history of success, i mean spring team.
it cultivates talents which it then resells to maintain the system, perhaps the most famous was Nichi Ventola.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicola_Ventola
remember that he played in the national team!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atalanta_B.C.

if you see, much italian players!

I’d love to see Atalanta win the CL, it’d be a great story built on passion, desire & hunger, no big egos & stupid money like big Eurooean clubs. I love to cheer on the underdog so I will be rooting for them.
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2020, 09:01:11 AM
According to insiders Sarri is out he has been sacked before lockdown and that's is why players are not following him.

The news according to them is still an "inside thing" till the end of the season.

To be honest, if i were juventus, I would sack sarri as well, his poor tactical approach  to matches and ridiculous changes to lineup especially in the midfield is why juventus is yet to wrap up the scudetto trophy this season. A very important system to win matches involves a consistent back 4 and prominent midfield players, sarri flops this aspects alot with ridiculous and questionable line up changes for each match.

His too below par to coach juventus to what they desire to win

I dunno why anybody would consider sacking Sarri, they are set to be Serie A champions. They are only 1-0 down on aggregate in the CL with a 2nd leg to come against Lyon. I don’t know what his objectives are (given by the club).

A mixer can be used to hide or disguise the bitcoin footprint ?

Exactly what I was going to say, you could put the coins through a mixer multiple times in batches. It should clean them up, you could sell a bunch P2P on Localbitcoins & nobody would be any wiser.
3538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 25, 2020, 08:54:27 AM
If i'm not mistaken this weekend will be the last matches for Premier league and to end this season i think i will bets for Liverpool once again because i was so tempting the odds for Liverpool @2.7 at onehash.com so probably they still have an ambition to ended this season with the victory

I’m not sure, Liverpool have completed their objective to become champion. They may have been partying too hard also, plus Klopp might rest key players & try some of the younger guys.

Niko Kovac, the new coach of Monaco, wants to bring 2 Croatian players,  Mandjukic and Perisic,  to the club according to this news: https://www.index.hr/mobile/clanak.aspx?category=sport&id=2200159

What do you think?
Can these players really help Monaco or it's more help to them
and their careers that are in decline?

They’re both in the twilight of their careers but maybe it’ll be helpful to have two players of his nationality as he joins the club as manager. It won’t be a long term fix but sometimes players with huge experience can help a squad develop.

It seems that I've been lucky on my birthday as Lazio just won my ticket after a dramatic 1st half with Cagliari leading with 1 0.  I will drink a beer for you guys and for this awesome community! Cheers and love ya.

Congrats man, how much did you win? Lazio have CL next season, it is 13 years since they played CL, their fans will be very excited to be back in the big time.
