It is like watching a family member just die slowly, I remember when digg was pioneering in web 2.0 arena back in the day, but now it is just dying soooooooooooo slowly, and trying to play catch. I think it is a dead site, i hope i am wrong.
I go on it once a week, You've been reading too many propaganda articles much? Tongue

LOL no 2005- 2007 was digg's greatest years digg v3 was horrible and digg v4 just ended it and then the founder left the project completely and that is how you know it is dead.

I don't have a problem with people selling forum accounts to Tor users as long as the price is significant enough to deter people from repeatedly evading bans (maybe 0.25 BTC). I might add this feature to the board itself at some point.

Well the consigliere has spoken, I will register people for .5 btcs and I will kickback half to the forum so tor people hit me up!

I am going to be a troll right now, why is your youtube name http://www.youtube.com/user/TheBestMacTutorials but yet you didn't even make this for macs which would have taken probably 5 more mins to detect a make user and generate a .sh file for them.
3546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Forwarding BTC on: August 03, 2012, 12:12:47 AM
I think he means like watch one address, and when a 6 confirmed transactions happens to an account it sends it to a new account, this can be easily done with a cron job and RPC commands https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Original_Bitcoin_client/API_Calls_list

But i wonder, if people would use a service, I could setup a site that does this, as long as someone supplies a private key and a forwarding address.

3551  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin client and Mountain Lion OSX 10.8 on: July 29, 2012, 08:08:12 PM
I just upgraded to mountain lion and everything works fine for me perfect

Well, thats interesting gweedo because after a while, the problems are finally starting to subside (Crashes no longer happen) but the fact I still have to wait for several minutes when I can actually see the client after it's opened, tells me that perhaps things aren't fully ready for Mountain Lion.

I am surprised at that to cause mountain lion has some good Berkeley DB tools. Try deattaching the db in the settings, and restart the client that may help.

3554  Bitcoin / Project Development / [Found/IDEA] Gittip.com on: July 29, 2012, 04:58:03 PM
https://www.gittip.com/

So I found this site browsing around and I was really into it, as I am a huge git and github supporter, but as I was looking to give money and I saw they only support credit card payments. I was disappointed so I started to look for there contact us and I went to there irc channel on freenode and asked no one responded Sad

BUT the whole site is open source so i think if some great python dev out there, look into it and converted into a bitcoin site that it could be a great thing here is the source code: https://github.com/whit537/www.gittip.com
3555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My article about bitcoin in a marketing blog on: July 29, 2012, 04:07:25 AM
I think it was a good article, but I did have some issues with some of the terms, just cause the target is marketing people and probably not the most computer savvy people...

Bitcoin ID
should be Bitcoin address cause that is the client and all the community calls it

also when you talk about it being central another great point would have been that is that you could hold all the transactions making you the bank. I do like the virtual mattress part thou.

overall i give it a 5 or 6 it is descent article hopefully people read that explore it a little more nice job.

I can't wait to see what noob gets scammed from you two, you can sticky this no high quality designer will actually take time to make something. Paint is so high quality LOL

So, the tools are what makes the high quality designers? Right...

I wonder what Picasso used... Roll Eyes

LOL you saw those designs you can't tell me some of those took like 5mins and look like a 4yr did them COME ON, I am just saying at that price point no HQ designer will come and do work for that I know, my designer friend wouldn't even open up photoshop and plug in his Wacom tablet for less than 15btcs.
3558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To MtGox, Intersango, etc : This would make your APIs much more secure on: July 27, 2012, 09:32:08 PM
Please allow me to restrict the IP addresses that API calls for particular keys are allowed to originate from.

that is why they have api keys so that you can remove the key and access stops from the places you use that key
