3541  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 30, 2022, 08:55:38 AM
People would definitely sold many of their physical assets just to buy bitcoin at that price because they will think it will give them huge gains once it goes up again. Bitcoin is above $20k for more than a year now so it's easy to say many people bought above that price. No one would be stupid enough to sell their bitcoin just because of the fear in market sentiment. It would take many hodlers and whales to sell to bring the price of bitcoin that low.
3542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think we should do with our investments in times of uncertainty? on: May 30, 2022, 07:02:15 AM
Not selling is the best we can do during those times. If you have been into the crypto space for some years now then you should get used to it. Market will always not go up the way we want. Erase all crypto related apps during bear or capitulation season where too much fuds are happening scaring more people to sell their cryptos. You are just giving the whales a to buy at the bottom by selling at loss.
3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 30, 2022, 05:52:45 AM
In many countries where gambling is a taboo - and people do not gamble because its not legal and its considered as a sin.
The people there can do online gambling and satisfy themselves. However - those people have a thought behind their mind if they are doing the right thing or not.

Gambling can be subjective. Those countries where gambling is a taboo has a very simple definition of gambling. Don't they realize that in real life we also gamble or take risks? Gambling is a form of entertainment, it only becomes a sin because most people get addicted to it with the mindset of it can make them rich in short amount of time, which only happens to very few people that are lucky. Gambling is a business to entertain people, they did not promise some returns.
3544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wise Sayings That Are Applicable To Cryptocurrency on: May 30, 2022, 04:47:29 AM
Now talking about altcoins, it's wrong for both investment and trading because there's a low chance altcoins price will always increase, more over it could become a dead coin and you will rekt.

With so many altcoins now being created every year in the crypto space, it is really hard to determine which is a good investment. For me, speculation make a great factor that it will pump in the future but it doesn't guarantee that it is a long term investment and will not rekt you. That is what I've learn with the LUNA and UST issue, I haven't bought it but my friends did and that time they keep saying it has good fundamentals but look what happened now.

"Invest what you can afford to lose" saying will always be the best for me even though anyone already knows it.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 28, 2022, 01:52:51 PM
I think the forum is not the biggest source of players in probably all crypto casinos and sports betting sites. I think Bitcointalk is also probably not the place of marketing where most referrals are coming from. I could be wrong of course but that's my impression.

I know that Bitcointalk is contributing very well to the growth and success of the casinos that are promoted here. But leaving Bitcointalk won't probably cause these casinos to fall and lose their clients.

Yeah, I agree. Nowadays, a lot of people or casino owners will advertise their casinos mostly on social media platforms because they can gather more audiences from them. But not doing a signature campaign here also has an impact on them because, you know, mostly those players or gamblers here want to try newly launched casinos when they see them, so there are still players here but still not that many. But to answer the OP's questions, yes they can keep up as long as they are listening to their players and also have no issues with their casinos.
3546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 28, 2022, 01:02:43 PM
In general, given the current realities of the world, I doubt that the state should be trusted with its funds at all. You need to understand how it can end up in the end.
But at least we are asked for what we wanted to expect , since we are all far from total adoption so countries after countries will be having their own interpretation and stand about crypto but at least share our prayers and wishes from our government.

I think a lot of countries' governments are already looking into it, not just the cryptocurrency alone but the Blockchain technology. Some countries are showing interest in bitcoin by stating they will be starting or investigating bitcoin if it will bring some effect to the government. Though here in our country, I just read that they are starting to learn about Blockchain technology and Web3 for technological purposes, which is good news for us.
3547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoin price drop is an excellent time to buy bitcoins on: May 28, 2022, 04:13:55 AM
I still prefer to think Bitcoin is doing great as long as it is not down to zero. I mean I would worry a lot if bitcoin goes nuts by dropping to as low as $500 bucks because then it's as equal to as loosing everything we have in our wallets. It's around $26k, which means it's still huge valuation of bitcoin. Keep them holding, keep them in wallet and we are yet good.

This is a time to hold your savings and investments in crypto. No need to be panic and buy more bitcoin if you have the funds.

However, only invest what you can afford to lose because investing all of your money in it is like you are putting all of your eggs in one basket. There are instances that you will lose it all, like the holders of Luna. A lot of investors invested in it and then it crashed. Take it into your mind that anything can happen, so you'll be ready for what will happen to you and your investment and jus to br safe invest those money that it is okay for your or can't really affect a lot on you if you will lose it.
3548  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 28, 2022, 01:37:59 AM
Just buy those companies that are focused on the production of food in the stock market. That's all you need and I know that you know the answer to your question.
Just look how good bitcoin is, despite the bear market and many are expecting it to go down as low as $11k yet it is standing still on the $28kish to $30kish level.
I guess that will answer OP's question as he always want to invest that goes along with food's prices increase. If you can franchise a food company, you will meet the profits that you are looking for, but it also depends on what kinds of foods that you are going to market. But anyway, bitcoin right now is giving us the best opportunity to invest too. There are also huge profits in bitcoin waiting ahead if you become responsible on how to grow bitcoin in your wallet.

Oh, that's right. I hadn't thought of it. You know, mostly this company will stand still because people are in need of food. It is way more worth it than transportation stock. I thought the best thing was the technology because when the pandemic hit, they boomed a lot, but now when at war, food is really the key. Now, in terms of bitcoin, yes, it is at a standstill, but many people are still hesitant to buy it because they believe it will fall, but you are correct that it is at a standstill in that price range.
3549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So my portfolio is down %70...too late to pull back now I guess on: May 27, 2022, 04:19:06 PM
This downtrend has been detrimental to my health (mental health). Exactly %70 just now. No lunch money type of money either.

Have we ever experienced this kind of downtrend before?? What's the latest on how long this might last, or if it's even going to recover.

Are you mostly in alts? Because if you are, then your pain and suffering might have only begun. Bitcoin came back from every major crash happened before but alts don't share the same luck.
I believe that he is focusing most of his attention on alternative cryptocurrencies because his portfolio drop a lot. As you may already be aware, most of those alternative cryptocurrencies are having trouble regaining their previous prices, or doing so will take several years or even longer like ETH. Additionally, I won't say the current market situation as a bitcoin crash because it is not a crash; rather, BTC is in downtrend. This takes place every year without fail. You probably remember when Bitcoin reached $20,000; after a few months of that, it dropped quite a bit, but what happens after that? It created a new ATH.
3550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 27, 2022, 05:02:09 AM
Best to build your cryptocurrency-related skills before going into it and if you are coming in with the sole aim of cashing in on some profits or free bitcoin, you may get frustrated since cryptocurrency is a journey and your skills are what get you paid. Bitcoin is highly valuable now not like in the 2009-2010 era when free Bitcoin is given as airdrops. So ultimately one needs to look away from the profits and concentrate on skills since one needs to work to get paid in Bitcoin.

Yeah, even though you jumped in like 5 years ago, the price of Bitcoin was really cheap and you could really afford one of it. Also, I agree, you really need to be knowledgeable when you jump into cryptocurrency because it is like you are entering a job that you just faked on your resume, so you'll end up getting fired. I know this will take time to learn things, but I am sure that it is really worth your time because you can get a profit from it later on. So invest your time in learning it. Also, don't think you're too late to the party because you can join in on this trend at any time.
3551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tending to cryptocurrency. on: May 27, 2022, 01:00:15 AM

As a newbie in the space, I'm interested in knowing what your motivation is and why you are taking cryptocurrency learning seriously?

My story goes back to around 2016. I recently graduated as an associate in information technology (only 2 years in college). After I graduated, the job was really difficult and I couldn't help my parents with house expenses or debts while I was in college. At that time, I was also searching for an online job, but after a year, I still haven't found it. Then I came across Bitcoin, and you know, the price was too low at the time, and you could earn decent money on it based on my online friends who are currently earning money on it, so I started learning it, mostly for bitcoin, and all my efforts were rewarded. I am starting to earn some money and I would say it is a decent one.

Our life before was really really poor. We were struggling to pay the electric bill and for fast foods or restaurants. Until I graduated, I hadn't tasted it using our own money since birth because it was really expensive to buy. This is really my motivation to learn crypto to make decent money and that could help my life too.

3552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: May 26, 2022, 04:48:02 PM
Trading is not so difficult as it was told. But the difficult part in trading is when to enter the market and when to Close the market. So when do you think one can buy or sell (enter) the market? Using the candle sticks to predict.

That's why it makes it difficult. If you can't take trades, then you are not trading at all. I also noticed that when I was just learning it and reading the sample chart, it was really easy to spot things where to trade or where to stop, but when in the actual market, it is difficult. Indicators are really one of the best things you should rely on (to know when to trade or exit) and also do it in demo because, as you can see, most experienced traders can spot what kind of movement they are looking for, so doing your strategy in demo could gain you experience and make you more confident in taking trades in the real market with real money.
3553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could inheriting Bitcoin from love ones be that difficult? on: May 26, 2022, 04:23:35 PM
Although its quit difficult to trust somebody in this present world. But recently I have started educating my wife about Bitcoin. Before now she taught I was just wasting my time on the forum since she was not seeing any financial benefit. She never knew that I was taking my time to learn and observe from the forum. Just yesterday I enlightened her about wallets. I showed her how much I have and how the market affects my account. I also taught her about passwords and keys. I showed her where I kept the password and keys and told her how to use them in case I am not around. For me she is trustworthy and can handle my finance for the good of the children when I am not around. I just want to make it easy for her because she might not be technically sound to go through any other complex process to retrieve or have access to my wallet.
I agree with you, the only way is to completely trust someone, either your wife/husband or kid/s. It's something that must be done little by little, at the end it's not that difficult to access a wallet and move funds but explaining the whole process to someone completely new, well, it's a lot of information, especially because it takes you just one small mistake and you can lose everything.

Well, I think if only about explaining how to transfer it to another wallet is just as easy, but for you to explain to them what the meaning of this is really takes a lot of time. Transferring that money is the only key and it's their choice to those who inherited the bitcoin if they want to learn from it. You can transfer it without prior knowledge. Just follow the simple instructions that were given to you and you can transfer it (but you should be shadowing your wife/husband or kid/s to transfer it, not videos online).

I recently taught my wife to transfer my bitcoin to our bank and she already knew how to do it in just under an hour.
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 26, 2022, 02:06:33 PM
We know that even if cockfighting is made illegal there are going to be people that are going to want to take advantage of the situation and they will still organize those fights, but at least by making them illegal you will decrease the amount of animals becoming victims of that activity, and in the case you can find those that are organizing those events then you can put them in jail, so while it is clear that cockfighting will keep existing the number of those events will go down.
They will continue to play cockfighting if they have played often and the government will find it difficult to ban it because the organizer or people who gamble will hide the place.
But hopefully, the number of the events can go down so that gradually, there will be no more victims, either from animals or people who can become addicted.
But the use of crypto in online cockfighting can make crypto popular among gamblers because they can gamble without using their bank account.

I just found out yesterday from a friend that online esabong still exists with some illegal online platform. We can actually gamble if we like, but we should bear in mind that it's illegal and what we are doing is against the law, if we get scammed, we cannot complain to the authority as including us will be charge.

We know gambling operators like E-sabong they will take every opportunity to run their operations even the underground, they know there is demand, they know there is a market, and they know they can make a lot of money from continuing operating their e-sabong, there is competition among operators and they will continue operating if there are other e-sabong operating.

Because of the continuous operation in the underground, there's corruption from authorities and these operators will pay people to protect them, what is grease or protection money if they will rake a lot of profit.

As you can see, the person behind the online sabao is really rich. There are allegations, as you can see from the news, that there are 24 people missing because of this. Running it underground is really easy for them. They have the money and the power because the owners of this are politicians and powerful people. But still, they shouldnt be very known to others that they are running this again. You know it will be stopped later, but still they can continue it. So far from now, I haven't seen any operation from them. I think they will just cool it off right now.

3556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can newbie become rich with trading on: May 25, 2022, 01:38:06 PM
There is no such thing as one day learning. If a new trader want to earn a lot and want to become rich, just invest more and earn more but you cannot earn by doing nothing like learning on how to trade, invest and earn
Just invest more and earn more? Oh please, how easy that would be. If only trading is that easy then we're not gonna see those newbies that lost pretty much all of their assets because of how uneducated they are about how trading works, in this case cryptocurrency trading. But sadly, that's how it is. Newbies tends to believe that trading is such an easy task, especially if they're only following some random dude online that says they made it big in a few days and voila. But making mistakes is a good way to learn the harsh truth about trading. So, lessons learned, hopefully when that mistake happens.
what a beginner thinks in crypto asset trading is to get as much profit as possible quickly. that is wrong thinking.
there might be 1:100 beginners who get that luck. but I still have doubts.
There's a lot to learn in trading. most beginners follow the advice of others to start trading. as long as they learn theory and tools that beginners can use I guess that would be great.

There is a saying that "just get some bones in the market". It means that you just gain a profit, not big, not too small, but just enough for you. Don't be greedy because you can't get all of the money in the market. Set a target profit and after you get it, you'll stop on that day. Beginners' luck? It isn't always working in trading because it isn't a gamble that you are relying on luck. You need to learn and gain some knowledge when it comes to gambling.

Try a hard refresh: CTRL-F5.

It works fine here.

This solves the issue. It is mostly cache issues. That is why you need to hard refresh it to clear those caches and download the new one. If it still does not work, try it on another browser or try it on another device. As you can see, most of us stated that it is already showing. It is just on your end (client side) that it isn't working. I do experience this mostly if I change signature campaigns. This is really what I do or I just wait for it to reflect on my end.

3559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: May 24, 2022, 03:33:30 PM
I'm not sure, but I believe this mantra is most popular in South East Asian countries, but it is not practiced in first-world countries. I would mostly do before playing is like to think positively and say the lucky word before betting, "Please be good to me" or "Please be lucky" three times. I know this does not always work for me, but it can boost my luck because, I think, playing without saying it is like there is something lacking. There is nothing wrong with this. Let's just respect each other. We are playing to enjoy and to earn some money.
3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 24, 2022, 11:21:26 AM
Gambling have brought me big wins as well as drastic losses. If my entire statistics is calculated this used to be in loss. I've tried different plans to keep me away from Gambling, however I wasn't able to do it. In the beginning I never mind when I experience loss, because I was single and now I have a family. I used to gamble without fear.

In recent days whenever I get into gambling I used to experience some changes in my body. Particularly stomach pain and I myself found the difference while gambling and not gambling. When I wasn't gambling I never have such issues and I myself checked Google and diagnosed the below. Does anyone have similar experience. Atleast for my health I need to give up gambling.

Irritable bowel syndrome
Also called: IBS, spastic colon

People may experience:
Pain areas: in the abdomen
Pain types: can be recurrent in the abdomen
Gastrointestinal: change in bowel habits, constipation, diarrhoea, inability to empty bowels, indigestion, nausea, passing excessive amounts of gas, or urgent need to defecate
Abdominal: cramping or discomfort
Also common: anxiety, depression, discomfort, loss of appetite, or symptoms alleviated by defecation

Google

Thank God up until now I didn't feel any change in my body or at least I haven't experienced it yet as who knows it maybe forming.I have had only loss of appetite but only in the moment after finishing my gambling session and having lost all the money.I suffer from a light stomach illness and when I am under stress from losing money I start what is called "stomach cough" for a bit of time.

I haven't have any major pain though nor I think I will have as I think I have achieved one of the greatest self control by playing only once a week or only once in two weeks.

We are the same, but I am not addicted to gambling, so I think it has no effect on me. I just noticed sometimes that spending money on gambling makes me fearful and also, if I was spending on something (not really important), my mind is always saying that this is cheaper than what I lost in gambling. This is really my attitude now and my wife also noticed it. Unlike before, I am really doubtful about spending any money on something not important.
