3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LCC] Litecoin Cash | SHA256 LTC fork @ block 1371111 | 10:1 claim ratio on: April 13, 2018, 11:46:41 AM
I know it too early, but I am wondering will they reach the same height, like litecoin reach I remember Litecoin was traded at $5 that was what I remember I will be worrying too much if I sell now and it reaches that level, so I prefer to keep my litecoincash for now.
3562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: invest only in bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 11:26:00 AM
Hello,

A question of a beginner, I read several articles that say better invest in bitcoin only (most of articles are from 2015-2016), but as bitcoin exceeds now $2500, I do not know if this rule still holds.

I want to invest a lot of money (let's say $3000), but I do not know if I have to invest only in bitcoin or other alcoins? What do you recommend?

Thank you

There's a lot of coins here that evolves like bitcoin, coins like eth and other coins are only worth 10% of their presence cost, so you think of spreading your portfolio, you can invest on Bitcoin but also look on other alternative coins like Waves, Stellar and Litecoin and of course Ethereum.
3563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADEX]*new thread* - AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Network on: April 12, 2018, 10:54:41 AM
Hello, I am the new one here in bitcointalk. Could you tell me - Is this topic the most discussed / visited / liveliest from Adex topics? or is there any other with more active discussion? I am in Adex for a few weeks and I visit only Reddit, Twitter and Telegram. Maybe Bitcointalk can offer other information.
Thank you for the advice Smiley

This is their official thread you can post anything that concerns Adex, Adex has a good future considering that Google are now banning ICO Adex could take that place if they put it their roadmap, I hope Adex will seize this opportunity.
3564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s your thoughts on LTC? on: April 11, 2018, 03:14:53 PM
It implemented as a payment system more then any other crypto right now. It is being very widely adopted. Still worth the investment for a long term hold?

We cannot dismiss the possibility that Litecoin still can make it as the second best coin in the market, of course, it is still worth to invest remember this is the coin that used to worth $15 and if Bitcoin double its price they could triple their price, so better go for it.
3565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of Fake Bounty Reward on: April 11, 2018, 02:46:30 PM
Hi guys, last March 23, 2018 I received an email from Altcoin_name@creditstoken.win which his message states that "You are entitled to receive an advance bounty reward from (Altcoin_Name) Coin Bounty Campaing for your participation. Go to the fowling address to redeem your Bounty Reward using redeem code: wwv.myetherwallet.com#redeem-token" When you open their website it will ask to enter your Private Key and wait for 3 hours to received the tokens. So guys beware of any person who will try to ask your Private Key. I had reported this issue to the owner of the Altcoin_name and sadly I was been disqualified in their bounty campaigns...

I will never trust any company or person that ask my private key its like giving away all your funds to your wallet, this is a big no no people should educate himself that private keys are private property, even asking your private key is a big no no it's a sign that its a scam project.
3566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: April 08, 2018, 06:06:24 AM
We have a bundle of good new appearing today.
This one is about Japan future leadership in Crypto world.
JAPAN plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world

But it did not help the price of Bitcoin much and it is still struggling because of the recent news banning all crypto related ico post on Facebook Twitter and other social media, but if four or five countries vie for Bitcoin capital then it could help the price to increase.
3567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: April 07, 2018, 05:03:49 AM
I'm quite confused on your post it seems you are trying to promote this project and you are not digging in your topic but I would like to answer your question, hopefully scammers will stop launching an ICO and only legit project will be allowed or continue to launch their project because of the recent bans from big advertising company.
3568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 91,000 by 2020? on: April 07, 2018, 04:31:06 AM
Fundstrat founder and strategist Tom Lee recently announced that bitcoin prices would reach $ 91,000 by March 2020. What do you think about this prediction? Please comment on this issue?

What are the reasons he laid out that Bitcoin will reach that level? until now people are at a loss why Bitcoin is slowly dipping, it would a continuous flow of good news for Bitcoin to reach that level, and additional hundreds thousands new investors to buy Bitcoin
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: James Altucher’s 10 predictions about the future of cryptocurrencies on: April 07, 2018, 04:26:30 AM
I don't know how good Altucher's analysis but these are all good in cryptocurrency futures, right now we cannot stop the proliferation of Ico and new coins, whether it is an airdrop or an ICO coin because creating a coin is much easier now because of the many coin services in the market.
3570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment strategy on: April 06, 2018, 05:26:53 AM
Hey, guys. Today I thought about what would happen if I cease to diversify their risks, sell all altcoins. Leaving all in bitcoins and wait until the rest of my Deposit will not grow.

Will I be able to earn more money for 2018 with this strategy? Huh

I already did so in the summer of 2017, leaving 60% of my Deposit in ETH for six months and did not regret it. I advise you to think about this strategy. Thank you all for your answers.

Well you have a good strategy that works for you, but with a lot of good coins to invest I am more on diversifying my portfolio instead of concentrating on one coin, everybody is on the look for the next bitcoin and every good coin has this potential.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: April 06, 2018, 05:15:54 AM
I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.

There's still a lot of venues to advertise beside facebook, Bitcointalk and signature campaign and of course twitter and ICO rating sites facebook is just one of the campaign and investors are not online all the time on facebook.
3572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best countries for an ICO on: April 04, 2018, 10:58:06 AM
I know the topic was covered a bunch of times already, but the rules change fast and really curious on getting the most recent thoughts on this.

What countries in your opinion are the best for the ICO's right now and is it likely to drastically change in the next 2 years, and why?

Thanks!

P.S. To moderators: Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong part, please move

I can only think of two countries, Malta and Japan, they are open minded and they adopt the blockchain technology, I will fully support projects or ICO that these two countries endorse, one of the ICO that Malta supports is Providence, so Providence has all my support.
3573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is metamask really safe ? on: April 04, 2018, 10:46:18 AM
I am very wary using software website that will use your private key to the trade, I only use my private on  myetherwallet, or I use an empty wallet with only the token that I am going to trade it's much safer this way.
3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [1 Feb-28 Feb] on: April 02, 2018, 07:57:12 AM
There is red flag here, Credits says Nitin Gaur (Director at IBM Blockchain Labs) is advisor, but when I check his linkedin, nothing about Credits. I even send message to him at Linkedin, asking his confirmation as advisor at Credits, he do not answer.

Since a couple of days Nitin Gaur added his position as an advisor to CREDITS on linkedin.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/nitin-gaur-75571a9/

"As an advisor my focus and Interest in on scalability and economic viability of blockchain networks. I also assist with business models and structure."

True, there are some mistakes in this sentence (English) but still, having an IBM-director as your advisor should mean something, no?

Yes, they do have an impact, some people are now questioning people who are into Credits are we all shills or paid supporters of Credits? I don't think so it's my money I have the rights to invest where I want to, those who shame those investors almost $2,072,830 USD in volumes should check the stat daily.

3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the Right time to get in! on: April 02, 2018, 07:15:09 AM
For all the newbies on crypto like me out there, this is the best time to get in in the crypto world. Why? Because the prices of coins now are so cheap. Last year on last week of December Bitcoin price went on its ATH which was like $20k+/BTC and almost all coins also went on their ATH before crashing. Bitcoin is still struggling to get back up to $20k+ level so invest now and hold your coins. Just buy coins that have high potential and has good technology and you won't regret it.  Grin

Too bad I entered in crypto world when it was at it's peak in 1st week of January I think. So don't be like me buy coins now while the coins are still cheap.

I agree with you this is the right time to buy, people are complaining that Bitcoin is dipping because they both at it's high so they are holding at a loss, so if you want future profit now is the best time to buy, because this bear trend is not going to be very long, there's an end to it.
3576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: International Crypto Associations to Sue Big Tech Over Crypto Ad Bans on: March 30, 2018, 03:24:14 PM
It's the battle of the giant but we all know Facebook, Google, and other big networks are multi-billion dollar industry they can spend millions just to defend their policy, I don't know but this things could take years, best step is to create a platform similar to facebook that is crypto related.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CREDITS - Legit or Scam ?? on: March 30, 2018, 01:13:29 PM
How can you say credits is a scam if in the bounty campaign all the participants bounty hunters are paid on their work, receiving their reward on time without delay, CREDITS is legit and one good ico project..

I still think it's a good project and it's on it's way to the top and if they successfully released their platform Eureka holders will have their lambo, let him accused it of scam let's see when the time comes when Credits fully released their platform I had a few Credits but do have a ready funds to buy in case they release it.
3578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I just go commit suicide? on: March 30, 2018, 12:51:05 PM
I invested half of my  saving ($25,000)  into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst.  I want to go kill myself   Huh

For your information Ethereum is not a shitcoin it is the second popular cryptocurrency in the market, so your investment will not go down the drain, I think you are into quick profit Ethereum will be here to stay as long as people are into cryptocurrency, so cheer up, next time invest only what you can afford to lose.
3579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me to buy BTC and not ETH. on: March 30, 2018, 12:32:36 PM
I'm pretty new to this, and after researching a bit, I feel like ETH is going places and has far fewer barriers to expansion that BTC. I want to buy and hold some coins, and as of now i'm leaning towards ETH. but I can't ignore the fact that bitcoin seems like top dog still... so convince me to buy BTC instead of eth. Give a reason besides "first movers advantage" Tongue

Check the coinmarketcap and check Google there's no explanation or no need to convince you to invest because in the first place you are here in Bitcointalk forum and all topics start and end on Bitcoin if you are leaning Eth then go for it, but if you are a cryptocurrency adopter it's hard to ignore Bitcoin.
3580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: March 29, 2018, 08:27:14 AM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

This has been the concern of every investor, they are holding at a loss, especially those eth holders, you can either sell now and avoid further loss or you can wait but it will take a little longer, the decision will always be yours since you know what are into.
