3581  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportbook without KYC on: October 12, 2021, 03:57:44 PM
I have been searching for a sportsbook without KYC that have a fairly good reputation. And with fairly good I simply mean that they don't scam and steal you money.

I don't know about sportbooks without kyc. KYC can protect you as well as hurt you, so its kind of a double edged sword. I mean if something goes wrong and you lose all your money to a scam at least you will have proof it was your money and you might have some legal leverage to get it back. Without kyc its probable you will get tricked no matter how good their reputation is... Undecided
3582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 12, 2021, 03:53:51 PM
Bitcoin is still legal in many countries and illegal in many countries. Do you want, Bitcoin to be legal in your country?
Do you feel the need to legalize Bitcoin in your country?
Are your ideas about Bitcoin positive or negative?
What is your personal opinion about this?
What do you think, if bitcoin is legalized in your country, the country will be improved or will be damaged?
I definitely want Bitcoin to be legal in my country, and I feel the need to make Bitcoin legal in my country.

Thankfully, bitcoin is still not criminalized in most countries. While some countries seem ready to start embracing it, others are showing resistance. In Europe, even though the European Central Bank, has sent out a few alerts regarding cryptocurrencies, we still have financial freedom and there is no regulation in place. In my country only now the government is starting to be aware of this new technology, but up until now, no stifling laws have been passed. I hope it stays that way.

Its only a matter of time, until the question of whether it should be legal or not is out of the hands of the government, I would say.

It all just depends on the rate of adoption. If everyone decides to end the corrupt fiat system and go towards the new money, aka bitcoin, then how is the government going to stop everyone?

Bitcoin is coming, whether the government wants it or not.

it's really scary to read something like this in 2021.

I believed the antivax discussion had been dropped in the early or mid 20th century.

After eradicating polio measles and so many other stupid diseases that used to kill people...

but nowadays they even believe in flat Earth, don't they?  Roll Eyes

Thats quite a silly thing to say. Just because vaccinations have been successful in the past does not mean that vaccinations based on new, genetic technologies against novel viruses that have never existed before, are anywhere near safe. You can't blame people for being afraid of something that is completely new. And we should become test subjects for what? A virus which is about 2-3x deadlier than the common flu? Do you take flue shots every year? If the answer is no, then youre a hypocrite.

3585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 11, 2021, 12:53:58 PM
I don't really care about bitcoin being legal or illegal in my country. The important thing is that we are not prohibited from transacting and investing in bitcoin. I'm actually less optimistic if bitcoin will be legal in our country. What is clear is that there will be many rules that in my opinion reduce the space for bitcoin investors. And our freedom will obviously be limited . So the most important thing for us is not being banned, that's enough.

I think the beautiful thing about bitcoin is that no matter how hard the governments try to stamp it out of existance or regulate it, all attempts have failed and will fail. You can't stop the bitcoin train!

It was time to take the concept of money out of the hands of the corrupt bankers and politicians! And we did so, or at least, Satoshi Nakamoto did. The governments had too much power over us and had to be taken down a peg. Grin
3586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The vaccination issue is not bipolar on: October 11, 2021, 12:50:38 PM
While I am strongly for vaccinations, I cannot condone forcing people to take a vaccination that was created on an asap basis with no long term studies. As long as you waiver your right to a hospital spot in the worst case scenario, whether or not you catch the disease should be left up to you. That is what I believe. Forcing people to take a medication is just plain wrong. And it goes against the democratic principle. We don't all live in communist China!
3587  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Kuba on: October 11, 2021, 12:46:57 PM
Roll Eyes
3588  Other / Off-topic / Re: BattleBots : Is This Another Form of Sports? on: October 11, 2021, 12:41:31 PM
Battlebots isnt really something I expected to see in the gambling discussion subforms on bitcointalk. Are people actually betting online on battle bot games? That sounds interesting. I bet if you combine that with NFT's and then bet the NFT's that would be a big thing.

Personally I don't see anything as a sport unless you sweat when you play it. Battlebots isn't really a physical thing. Its more of a playing with your remote controlled machine kind of thing. Undecided
3589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 10, 2021, 04:12:31 PM
The poll is wrongly worded for this thread. Roll Eyes

The wording should be: How much would you buy if Satoshis coins moved to an exchange? Because you know the shakey hands would drive the prices down so hard for a short amount of time. You know how many cheap coins you could buy? Seriously.

Well lets say you are out of ammo,

Would you sell 20% knowing you will be buying back after the panic firesale?

Diamond hands are not as prevalent as those in this thread.

There of course are alot of knee jerk answers that would not reflect reality.

Well, the panic and stupidity of humans is something you can safely bet on. So I guess I would sell some just to have enough fiat to buy at a lower price. Still risky. But as long as I don't get greedy I think I could easily get a 10% bag increase...
3590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About P2PB2B exchange on: October 10, 2021, 02:33:00 PM
Its not a very reputable exchange as far as I have heard from many other members here on the forums. Also from my own research and expert opinion, it would seem to me that they might be engaging in dubious market making tactics that makes it look like they have a larger trading volume and a higher userbase number than they really do.

I personally keep away from small exchanges. Especially those that can't possibly have high trading volume and  high trading frequencies for the amount of popularity that they have, for example on social media... Roll Eyes
3591  Economy / Gambling / Re: 500 CASINO (V2) 💰 Free Daily BUX 🎡 Wheel & Casino 🎟️ Vouchers & Events on: October 10, 2021, 02:28:40 PM
Im glad to see that the 500 Casino has been rapidly gaining momentum and a larger fanbase! You really don't often see an online casino gain so much traction in such a relatively short amount of time! Grin

I also very much like the new layout and the new UI functionalities! It really brings everything in together for a more comfortable and entertaining way to gamble online!
Are there currently any kyc restrictions on any countries?

Lips sealed

3594  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: October 09, 2021, 01:21:29 PM
The most important method not to fall for a scam is to trust your own gut feeling. If something seems too good to be true then it's probably a scam. Also if your gut feeling tells you something is out of place or risky, get reassurance. Dont ever let yourself be put in a situation you don't want to be in and don't let anyone gas light you into doing something you don't want to. I've sent so many scammers running by calling them out on their 🐂 💩...

3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No one talks about Sic Bo!? on: October 09, 2021, 12:52:43 PM
To be honest that's not a game i have ever heard of before. Seems like an interesting looking game. Is there any place that you can play it without having to put down any money first? Like an learners level or tutorial. Something in that direction...

I would rather learn to play it first Huh
3597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 08, 2021, 03:29:13 PM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?

Well, if you absolutely need it to be backed by something physical, I would say the electricity that is produced and used for mining bitcoin is quite physical. Other than that, people have traded their fiat (which is supposedly backed by gold) in for bitcoin.

So the value seems to be quite real to me. Not sure where people get this idea that bitcoin isnt backed by anything or that its purely speculational in nature.
What even is speculation? Speculation is just guessing how much value bitcoin will obtain in the future.

The value itself isn't really speculated.  Kiss

Was soll das überhaupt heißen?

3599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Karnataka Government Banned Online Gambling on: October 08, 2021, 03:19:21 PM
Yeah before everyone starts panicking about India banning an unbannable currency for the nth time, lets all remember that cryptocurrency can be used for online gambling services but the same goes for fiat or even coupons. So banning it won't really bring any kind of results I would say...

...Other than that I have stopped trusting banning of bitcoin news over the years. If anyone could have banned it, they already would have.

Bitcoin is forever. Grin
3600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL to 100K movement on: October 08, 2021, 03:15:37 PM
Another thread full of people who don't realise BTC is the new money. HODL for 100k? More like HODL for LIFE! Anyone who does not understand this does not understand bitcoins true potential or that the future is bitcoin. Fiat is dying. Why why why would you trade your money for monopoly money?

That just does not make any sense to me.... Roll Eyes
