The verification is only for withdrawal limit and is not applicable for trading as per my knowledge. They are doing this because of pressure from different government agencies. There are many like me who are reluctant to complete KYC and I think they will lose a big chunk of customer because of this issue.

Glad that i stayed out of placing a bet in both the matches today in the IPL, because i would have predicted the wrong team to win the match. Both the teams won simply because their bowlers were able to restrict the batsman with their variations and it is a really rare occasion where we see bowlers dominating both the matches and the best bowlers will always stand out from the crowd.
What's wrong with SRH? Is this team so bad that they cannot chase a score of 125 runs. Restricting batsmen and bad batting are two different things. SRH showed how pathetic batting looks like yesterday.

As usual like all other mainstream media outlets, BBC Hindi's reporting about cryptocurrency started with the cons of Bitcoin and ended with uncertainty. This is the link to the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFKX3pDQU0w&t=581s

Can anyone tell me who is that girl? She is supposed to be some kind of consultant for Banking and Finance. My point of view is that rather than having her why didn't they bring someone from the field of cryptocurrency like Nishchal Shetty.

The topic starts at 2:02 and ends at 9:28. Do watch it and share your views about this video.

If you are talking about the consultant, I am surprised that she belongs to Fintech Industry, if someone is from Fintech because she didn't talk even a bit about how bitcoin would affect the finance world and DEFI could bring a change, all she talked about was buying and selling of cryptos which everyone knows is at your own risk, when I buy a property that too is at my own risk that what If it doesn't get sold tomorrow? buying and selling things has always been at your own risk. But yes she didn't have such a bad opinion all she did was highlighted a few cons and gave a hint that it can't be banned obviously.

I still think that it would have been good if they had got someone actually from the cryptocurrency fraternity on their show rather than having that lady. Actually, she could have talked about a lot of things like how NFT is entering into the mainstream entertainment business and the same about Defi too. All they highlighted is how bad cryptocurrency and in general Bitcoin is and how the Indian government is still clueless and what to do next?

Generally, I have seen in T20 matches that if you score anywhere above 180 then it is competitive. This match start was really good but RCB were not able to maintain that momentum. I was too expecting them to score more than 200 but the middle order collapsed too fast. With only 156 runs to chase CSK won the match without any effort.

Depends on the pitch. In the UAE 160-180 can be competitive. RCB bowlers also did a poor job yesterday. The pacers (Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini and Harshal Patel) failed completely and the much hyped Wanindu Hasaranga was a big failure yesterday. Yuzvendra Chahal was the only one who performed well. It was a direct battle between Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. And as expected, the latter emerged as victorious, because he had better tactics. I am hearing some rumors as well. There was a statement by Nick Compton regarding bias in selection by Kohli.. I agree for most part, but don't want to go in to the details.
The way CSK has been performing in this season of IPL I feel they will take the cup this time. This might be the last IPL of Dhoni and he as well as the team are performing very good. Last season they struggled a lot.

Century partnership by Royal Challengers Bangalore and still they end up loosing the match, i thought they would end up scoring a huge total and Chennai Super Kings would end up short and once Chennai Super Kings was able to pick up wickets in the later part of the innings i was certain that Chennai Super Kings would produce something to win the match and that is what they did.
RCB start was very good and most of the fans was feeling today they are going to touch 200+ because Kohli and Padikkal both was on good target but sadly today their middle order completely fail and give them shocking end of very good start of this season and from CSK Bravo was man to watch for his bowling figure which help them to reduce their required target in CSK inning their both openers was also good, so they're done their job very quickly and bring their side on top and sure sport for play-offs as now they have good over position but RCB need to fight hard for his spot in play-offs after losing this match.

Generally, I have seen in T20 matches that if you score anywhere above 180 then it is competitive. This match start was really good but RCB were not able to maintain that momentum. I remember the terrorist incident at Christchurch. 51 people died and a few of the Bangladesh players narrowly escaped from getting shot at. But the difference here is that the Bangladesh government decided that it is safe to continue with the tour and conveyed the message to the BCB. In case of New Zealand team in Pakistan, it was different. The directive came from the New Zealand government to abandon the tour, and CNZ just followed the order. So these two incidents are not directly comparable.
If the Bangladesh government or the Bangladesh cricket board thought that and made a decision that it is not safe for Bangladesh players to play the series when there was an attack in New Zealand they could have called the team home but they never did. If New Zealand government and their cricket board feels that there is a threat to the team, then they can call the team home and that is what they have done.

The fact is that small boards have always said yes no matter what was the condition because they need revenue. Big boards are already generating good revenue therefore they show their tantrums. Small boards have tried their level best to increase revenue but till now they have been struggling, until then the situation will remain the same.
3588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 24, 2021, 01:21:35 AM

^ In the early day's test cricket was considered to be the most skillful of all the other formats of cricket but now test cricket has lost its zest. Honestly, I don't think anyone has the time to watch test cricket for 5 days even the cricketers will agree that it is a waste of time to watch cricket for 5 days because people need to work to support the economy of the country. Even I am happy watching the highlights of test cricket and learning about the scores because I don't think watching every ball of test cricket is necessary. And about the Afghanistan situation, I think ICC is under enough diplomatic pressure about this situation. But they shouldn't keep such a decision hanging in the air. Either say yes or say no.

After the arrival of T20 there is hardly any interest left in Test, even ODIs are no more that much popular. I too just check the score card on espncricinfo on the completion of each day. But we have to accept the fact that Test format is the real cricket whether someone liked it or not. Bowlers skills can only be verified in test format.
T20 has major role in increasing the popularity of cricket worldwide since it can be completed in 3 hrs approx.

Interestingly the fan following of T20 cricket is more than the Test cricket. Amazingly you do not need a lot of skills like Test cricket in T20 format. You only need to hit the ball well as a batsman and as a bowler, you need to restrict the batsmen. I am not a fan of Test cricket and most of us here would agree that we do not have time to watch the match for a whole day. I generally go for the highlights rather than checking the score.
3589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 24, 2021, 01:17:07 AM
Everyone says that neutral ICC must be authority to control all cricketing affairs of the world but in reality its not happening. Whats the way forward, is there any practical solution to this?
We will continue to discuss this but big 3 and there allies will dominate the administration of cricket. I dont think in near future we have neutral and fully empowered ICC.
Even most of the peoples denying, but one thing is sure this IPL factor is surely working in this all because it's giving some good enough money to BCCI, and they are sharing with few boards like CA, ECB and CNZ as their players are too much involved in IPL three boards very strong and one is their ally, so they are taking good advantage of this all but its already killed beauty of this game.

In near future we will have some more issues like this then surely these are going to be having Karma for this all, and they have to pay for this unsporting behavior nature never allow this all it's take his own revenge but if they want to do some better than surely they need to think about this right now and play fair game with all.

Cricket is no more a gentlemen game. When money is involved you will always support that board which makes more money than those who rely on it. It is not BCCI's fault that they have created a tournament that pays well not only to the players but to other boards associated with it. ICC does not have anything to do with domestic tournaments but the governing body has representatives who are part of the poor board. Why don't these members raise their voices against such issues? You cannot blame only the rich boards here.
3590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 24, 2021, 01:10:56 AM
Yes, IPL already lost some good time due to Covid-19 now they need to complete this despite all problems because if they are going to do any cancellation or postponement then they have no window for completion and it is going to hurt very badly BCCI. For next few matches they need to go with stick policy because this pandemic still out of control even we have few good vaccines.

Anything could happen like if some more players will be tested positive that may lead to end of 2021 session completely as this year's cricket calendar will not let them to find any gap here after.
No matter how many positive cases of Covid we see in IPL, the play will go on. Seems like players and there boards are no longer interested in covid cases rather they wanna play IPL at every cost.
Latest example is match between DC and SRH, despite Thangarasu Natarajan positive case the match was not postponed.

BCCI is going to face a lot of financial losses if they cannot control the Covid-19 situation in the IPL and it will lead to a lot of other problems too. Like them not being able to complete this IPL. And I haven't even talked about the worst-case scenario. Because we sure don't wanna see any player die because of COVID-19 and get blamed by the whole world that IPL was responsible for that. I think we all get the point, BCCI should be more careful and cautious and also strict about this matter.

As per my understanding, all players and officials have been vaccinated but yes, sometimes vaccines do not work too. If a player or an official is taken seriously ill then it will jeopardize the tournament and at the same time it will also tarnish the reputation of IPL. BCCI should make more stricter arrangement then what it is doing now.

Hello indian community, mai ek private company me job karta tha but meri wo job chhuut gai hai or mujhe kuch income ki jarurat me. Kya yaha bounties join karke main thik thak kama sakta hu, mai article bhi likhta hu but  usme bhi regular work nahi milta ..please kuch guidance dedeo apne bhai ko
There was a time when bounties were profitable, they could even fetch you more than any regular job, This was the time around 2017-19 but things have changed now, the effort to reward ratios of bounties is really bad these days, the prime reason is that bounties have a fixed budget which is split into thousands of users and many people in Philippines, Indonesia, and these third world countries have a lot of accounts and mostly take away all the major return from bounties, if you don't have any other option you can obviously try it but I don't think it will be very profitable, instead try for a signature campaign, even a signature campaign for full member doesn't pay a lot but as per INR you can earn decent 10-12k which isn't that bad.

These guys from Indonesia and Philippines create multiple accounts and the apply for content bounty which pays better than social media bounty and sometimes better than signature campaign. They basically take a chunk out of the bounty budget. Also most projects are generally scam. Gambling based signature campaign do pay a decent amount but still you cannot run your household with that amount.
3592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What crypto projects best facilitate obtaining passive income? on: September 23, 2021, 04:10:58 AM
Passive income requires patience. Investing in a project and then generating returns through staking or yield farming is not called passive income.

Quote
Passive income is income that requires minimal labor to earn and maintain. It is called progressive passive income when the earner expends little effort to grow the income. Examples of passive income include rental income and any business activities in which the earner does not materially participate.

Actually it is myth cause everyone has to work hard in order to generate income.

The match of DC vs SRH will be held today. Hyderabad had the worst performance of the previous season. They won only 1 match. On the other hand, DC's previous season's performance was remarkable. The Delhi team has T20 specialist players like Rahane, Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Iyer, and Heitmeyer. The SRH team seems weaker than them. However, the relationship between IPL matches cannot be predicted. The favorite team is often defeated.

As usual DC's yesterday performance was remarkable. SRH was pathetic, they were only able to score 134 against DC. They will end up doing what they did in the last season. Anyways DC is a far better team than SRH, they have a lot of experience and A-class players. I skipped this match but I would be watching today's match between MI and KKR.
3594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 23, 2021, 02:23:10 AM
^ I think sometimes prayer just takes it too easy. They think they have done everything alright and enough so they can have a long rest. But a lot of them can push their body further than they always do. Players at times don't even remember that they are professionals and they get paid for playing better. They treat it like a hobby but actually, they should treat it as a job. Because it is their job to play well and give their 100% no matter what. And if you simply cannot follow some simple rules then you should not be with the team.
I have noticed that some of the Indian players have become extremely arrogant nowadays. They believe that they should be treated as gods, and laws doesn't apply to them. The toothless behavior of the BCCI has further encouraged this behavior. If the BCCI had taken a strong stance after the bubble-breaches in IPL and Sri Lanka, then the players would have fallen in line. But the BCCI is busy with infighting and they didn't had the balls to take action against those who were responsible for the breach.

The BCCI is not paying much attention to the ICC now. They are doing as they please. Proof of this is the cancellation of the match against England. Similarly, their players are becoming reckless. The players are too arrogant. Because BCCI never gives any punishment to the players. After the incident in Sri Lanka, I thought maybe BCCI would give any punishment to the players, I thought money could fine. But BCCI did not give any punishment to the players. If BCCI never gives any punishment to the players then it will cause disgrace to them in future.

Not punishing players for contracting a pandemic disease will not bring disgrace to BCCI that is for sure. There should be some disciplinary action against those who breached the bubble but how will you prove it? Still, it is possible to take disciplinary action but we need to wait for those as at the moment they are busy with IPL and also the upcoming T20 WC.

Show me proof that Pakistan is blacklisted by FATF.
The fact is that Pakistan is never been in the FATF blacklist. I can understand that some wishes can't come true. Cheesy

I wonder why you and all Indians feel so happy to speak the things which never exists ? and Yes, after the cancellation of New Zealand tour, it was expected that England will announce the same.

I am not an Indian citizen, but it is a fact that Pakistan is facing issues for many decades now. Blaming India will not resolve the issue. The user whom you quoted was wrong. Pakistan was never blacklisted by the FATF. However, FATF is currently investigating them for links to banned entities.

https://thediplomat.com/2021/02/will-pakistan-come-off-the-fatf-grey-list/

Currently they are on the "greylist".

The real threat for the PCB is that other countries would follow the example of CNZ (ECB, CA.etc) and refuse to tour Pakistan. That will result in huge losses to the PCB. Already they are in bad financial state due to the pandemic.

Whats strange is role of ICC. I don't see any single statement of ICC official in latest tour cancellation by CZN and ECB. If boards have to decide matters by themselves then whats the role of keeping ICC?

Instead, the overwhelming impression given by this week's withdrawal is that England want other countries to help them in their hour of need but will do very little in return. Unless, of course, there is big money involved Paul NewMan Daily Mail

Nothing new about ICC, they have been like this lately. They should have commented about this situation but they prefer to be neutral. Anyways they are busy with the upcoming T20 WC. I think before that they will not comment anything and after that, they might. We need to wait and watch.

Rajasthan Royals finally won by 2 runs after a hard-fought battle. In fact, the bowling department is more important than the batting department of Rajasthan Royals in this match. Fabian Allen can take a single run then this match could be equal...

After the start PBKS had, I never thought that RR would be able to win.

Yesterday's match was very interesting and was also very close. At one point I was fully sure this match will be won by PBKS unfortunately, that did not happen. RR won by just 2 runs. In the final overs, PBKS were struggling to play the ball. It would be touch one to swallow for Rahul.
3597  Local / India / Re: India's biggest Bank will not allow you to use it's UPI for crypto purchase. on: September 22, 2021, 01:25:02 AM
I just came across this news on a reputable website. I am not sure whether any of you here are facing this problem. This happened because other big private banks have already implemented a ban. UPI does not fall under RBI's jurisdiction therefore you won't here anything from them. Here is a snippet from the article.

Quote
State Bank of India, India's largest lender, has blocked crypto exchanges from receiving funds via its UPI platform and has asked payment processors to disable SBI UPI on their platforms as well.

SBI's decision comes after a slew of banks imposed similar bans on crypto exchanges over the last few months. HDFC Bank, in May, had warned investors against dealing in virtual currencies, including bitcoin, and said that failure to heed the advisory may lead to the cancellation of their cards and restrictions of transactions.

You can read the full article - https://yourstory.com/2021/09/state-bank-of-india-bans-traders-upi-cryptocurrency-trading/amp

What do you think will happen now? Are we again going back to 2018 when the RBI ban was implemented?
This is very weird, while on one side we are talking about right to banking as a fundamental right and talking about maximum financial inclusion, at the same time one bank abusing its power and authority is stopping a specific set of people to deal with it. First of all, I am surprised how is this not a violation of the Supreme Court order of RBI ban, more surprising thing is that even RBI issued a notice to the banks to obey the SC order, and still banks are playing these cheap tricks. I think P2P buying and selling is soon going to become the new normal in the Indian crypto space, moreover, this sort of shadowban directly means that the government isn't going to accept crypto at any means, I hope some association files a PIL against SBI's notice.

UPI payments do not fall under RBI jurisdiction. You still can buy cryptocurrency using IMPS services but not with UPI. RBI cannot do anything here as they do not control UPI and there is no violation of Supreme Court order as you are not being stopped to purchase cryptocurrency you are only being stopped to use one mode of payment system.
Ohhh sorry didn't notice that only UPI payments have been disallowed. However even UPI comes under the regulation of RBI as it's part of our money system, but just one bank stopping just one service for some specific set of customers on arbitrary basis, I still think it's not justified until the thing you are doing isn't illegal, it's a public sector bank after all. But yes the old Supreme court verdict might not be directly applicable on this case if this is the thing.

It seems NPCI is behind upi things and they have said it's up to banks whether to accept crypto payments or not.

https://in.investing.com/news/npci-says-wont-ban-crypto-trades-in-india-2716703

I still don't understand why banks have banned UPI for payment to cryptocurrency exchanges. When you are allowing IMPS then you should allow UPI too. There is no sense behind this ban. Banks have been always against cryptocurrency and if NPCI has left it to the banks then this will be a permanent ban. Someone should file a right to information act petition to find out the reason behind it as government banks are now involved it would be easy to find the reason behind this ban.

Yes bhai i am learning digital marketing and at the same time writing articles whenever i get some work. Currently no fixed income i have but trying hard to get some work here and there.
There is one bounty that in my opinion is legit and you will get paid in USDT. As per the bounty ANN it will end by 13th of October and the payment date is end of November. They will be also launching their signature campaign, I guess after 13th October. Here is the link and do your own research - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354576.0

I think this dip will continue for few more days and if you are looking to buy any altcoins now expect the price to dip a bit more after your purchase. People do panic in such situations and then sell their assets. It is always advised to take a position on different levels and then hold until the market recovers. Invest wisely and always stay calm in such situations.
