3582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why didn't you switch to thinking in mBTC yet? on: June 16, 2013, 12:17:10 PM
Only complete idiots can be fooled into thinking that mBTC is better than BTC. It's the same goddamn thing.

Nu-uh, millimeters are much better than meters  Angry
Complete bullshit, you can't measure TiO2 particles in millimeters
Hail micrometers µm

Your micro-propaganda is disturbing. Next thing you'll say is there's a unit called say, let's pick an absurd phantasy name, Ångström.
What the hell is Ångström? Is this some Scandinavian god?
If you like it so much, then create it, define it, and make our units stupidly fight until the Sun explodes

Excellent. We should have big arena fights and trainer badges and clinics where your units can recuperate from fights. Any maybe one could put them into little balls to carry them around in.
Great!
This may have some audience.
We would need several units though. Adding hundreds of new units each year would be fun too!

GO, MICROMETERMAN!

And yes, for most americans, the rest of the world is communist.
Funny sentence when you remember that Cuba, Bolivia, Equator, Venezuela, Comlombia, etc are part of America
3587  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted Post - censorship here on: June 16, 2013, 11:51:00 AM
The problem is that one particular moderator here supports homosexuals, maybe he is queer himself. The problem is that homosexuality is wrong and people who support this wrong thing are allowed to speak freely, but people who don't like homosexuality and oppose them are silenced by post deletion.

Wts 10,000 BT3

testnet 4 anyone?
 Roll Eyes

Well, we can always stay on testnet 3 if we want. We can't be forced off of it. At least then we wouldn't have it hanging over our heads that someone might restart it, AND we can stay up-to-date with all the new bitcoin updates as changing the testnet just means future genesis blocks are different.

Wow that's funny, you previously said that you didn't want anybody to fork future Bitcoin version in case of new testnet coming because it would ask some trust to the forker:
If I copy past fork bitcoin and change the genesis block, it will make me responsible for maintaining the code base. If not me, someone else would be. And then everyone would have to trust me that every time there is some update people will have to trust that I haven't worked some malicious code changes into the mix. Not everyone is competent enough to check the code every time.

This is why I do not advocate some bitcoin clone because it creates a point of vulnerability. We trust the bitcoin devs, and by using testnet we don't introduce any vulnerabilities from some new random dev that forks the code.

Wanna buy a castle? Think in kBTC.
Wanna buy a computer? Think in BTC.
Wanna buy a bubble gum? Think in mBTC.

That's it, stop complaining, stop trying to convince people YOU are right.
3591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free Testnet Bitcoins: Just post your Bitcoin <<TESTNET>> address! on: June 16, 2013, 11:20:47 AM
I'm giving away free Testnet Bitcoins in an effort to raise awareness about the Bitcoin Testnet.
What is your reason for doing this?
crazy_rabbit wants to monetize testnet for a really long time.

By the way, can a mod move that to Alternative cryptocurrency as Testnet is here discussed as such?

Currently in most parts of the world gay sex is not rape.

Saying cannibalism = murder is just as silly as saying gay sex = rape.
I meant how could you even compare gay sex and rape?
It's like saying

Just like a blowjob is not necessarily rape.

They seem to value free account members the same as paying members, except for data allowance.
Again, they censor free accounts pretty easily

3598  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [BOUNTY: 2.0 BTC] [CLAIMED] Message Signing in Armory on: June 15, 2013, 09:07:13 PM
There is a webpage which can do the work for you
http://brainwallet.org/#sign
You need to provide your private key (u can get it on the SIGN MESSAGE window of armory by selecting the address using address button)
This runs on java script - so your private key wont get sent to any web server
The point is precisely not to use another software but rather having everything done in Python
3599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scrypt (Litecoin) ASIC Prototype on: June 15, 2013, 08:50:03 AM
2 French you say?
