3042  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [SUGGESTION] New wallet.dat format on: July 05, 2013, 12:40:45 PM
Drawbacks:

  • Default wallet.dat file size is now 21MB
Unnecessary. People with poor connections wouldn't be able to put a backup on internet (mail/dropbox/etc) or uploading it to blockchain.info.
Why not 21GB?

  • Better encryption
Impossible to look for your wallet on your harddrive if you/windows deleted it... There are regularly such cases in the tech forum.
Why does it even matter that people see it's a wallet? That's the point of the passphrase to take care of that.

Super merci

Bump! Half a pi (cal it a tau) remaining.
A tau is TWO TIMES a pi!  Angry

I knew that, hence the 6-28 date. I just wanted to see who should be moved to the front of the class for paying attention.

Wrong conclusion, these are the only devs who seem to care!
please provide facts no conclusions/personal opinions
Do you seriously think this?
Plain ridiculous
Several devs are fuckers but FTC devs are from being the only ones who care about their clone
3049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Craftcoin - The coin of workers. on: July 05, 2013, 07:55:21 AM
The fact that a craftcoin already exists changes my plans.
Sorry for the real/previous/whatever craftcoin supporters, I just had this name in my mind but couldn't find it here so I used it, nothing more.
I only wanted to see how the altcoin community answers to a new crapcoin.
Haters: notice how OP wasn't modified, then read the white, tiny sentence at the end of OP, on the right.

By the way
troll created a scamcoin too, what a joke. Look at this guy's posts how he bushed other shitty, useless, cloned alt coins, lol Grin Grin

Look at my posts how I support innovative (even a bit) coins: PPC, NMC, DVC, FLO
Look at your posts how you bash all altcoins except the one you're loaded with: the infinicoin joke

[edit2] I'm afraid it's really pointless to reply to a 10-per-day poster. I should have noticed earlier it's a troll.
Translation:
10 posts per day = troll

The latter is your "translation". I've never written exactly that.
And I don't think it's equal to the former.
You're a ten-per-day poster. And you're a troll. (At least here, you are.)
I can see no conclusion that a ten-per-day poster is a troll there, though.

If ten-per-day isn't equal to begin a troll, then why do you even say that it's " pointless to reply to a 10-per-day poster. "?

I only trolled your thread because you had a shitty idea and couldn't listen any argument against it.

You had no argument against my idea.

I didn't write that I had an argument against it. I wrote any argument, from me or not.
I'm afraid that you really have some difficulties with reading text...

You're definitely a butthurt young guy

I only trolled your thread because you had a shitty idea and couldn't listen any argument against it.
Now point me to another thread I trolled (except altcoins thread which are troll thread per se). Hard to find, right?

Also
Email the users' email, notifying them of deletion.
If they respond "no", or don't respond, delete them.
Only delete, as mentioned before, year-old users with no activity since registration.
This is actually something worth discussing about

Epic thread
3058  Other / Meta / Re: Userbase cleanup on: July 03, 2013, 07:47:52 PM

Looking at this:
Well I may not understand what you mean. (Maybe try to write down what you mean then.)
Because I can uderstand quite well what you've written. And none of your posts makes an argument against my proposal. They're all beside the question.
Conclusion: As it is you who have been writing nonsens, it's also you who should step back.
I'm afraid that you really have some difficulties with writing text...

Not me:
Yes. Because each of your posts is beside the question, they are nonsense when put as arguments in the discussion.

3059  Other / Meta / Re: Option: deleting colors/glow in signatures on: July 03, 2013, 06:56:59 PM
Although turning off ALL glow isn't good, because some signatures actually use glow in a nice fashion.
Maybe remove glow of a specific font size?
IMO there's no "glow in a nice fashion". I just don't want to be attacked by colors everywhere. Open a thread from the newbie forum to see what I mean.
I always look at signatures anyway (except the glowed ones) so that doesn't change anything for me.

I know some people are fine with colors and such things, but an option to delete/hide them (the colors) wouldn't hurt anybody and isn't hard to implement so would it be possible to implement it?
Also this would make the forum ad (just after the first post) more eye-catching
Just make a greasemonkey script, you'd already be done if you'd started it instead of this thread Cheesy
Good idea, first I'd prefer a word from theymos on this though. It would be easier to make it server-side.
Also does this work on IE and Chrome? (IE at work...)
3060  Other / Meta / Re: Option: deleting colors/glow in signatures on: July 03, 2013, 06:30:59 PM
Personally, the glow looks cool.
But you should have the option to do this for signatures yelling "BLAHCASINO.COM [tons of unicode] FREE ROLLS ETC [unicode] PLAY NOW!"
Edit: Glow should be like my signature - small, yet cool.
I'm just asking an option to hide it if I want to.
Are you against? If so I'd like to know why because I see no reason for this.
