When recovering the aeon wallet from the Mnemonic Seed, is it still done like this? Go to the folder containing simplewallet and run "./simplewallet --restore-deterministic-wallet", entering your mnemonic seed when prompted. NOTE that this will simply restore your wallet keys. You will still need to scan a blockchain (either your local blockchain or a remote blockchain) to see your balance and make transactions. havent tried it yet myself since there was never a need, but would be good to know in case Should add an Aeon tips page to your site Yeah had that in mind but want to verify first, that this is the common practice to retreive a wallet from seed before making it public I'm pretty sure that's the correct way. I thought it's one of the most basic information for Aeon users, so I'm surprised that hiddenjadestone hasn't covered it already. Hiddenjadestone knows how to backup their wallets so there was never a restoration needed:P One never stops to learn, glad i was asked by another user recently, so i can add that to the KM, havent thought about before:) Will test it out tonight to verify that it works before adding it |

New to coss,
I deposited some coss yesterday on the coss exchange. All good so far. After some time there appeared a gear wheel beside my coss wallet saying, there are pending deposits though i havent sent any additional coins/tokens to the exchange....is this normal? and if yes, why does it appear?

Lil sad to say, that I sold my TOA
the company seems promising and the project is great but the coin has no real application really. The only advantage of toa, to my understanding from the whitepaper is, that you get discount on future agency service and some freebies...
means bluntly spoken 1-25% discount on travel service and some sticker in the coffee shop. with toa you dont even have a share of the profit of this company...:/
Whats the advantage of this coin over any other coin? why would toa project not just drop toa and accept some other coin and save the extra effort?
Its not FUD, im just sharing my concern and hope, that someone might hint me on something, that i might have missed because i like the project itself
Well it's because we have future plans for TOA that includes blockchain evolution. We're not going to stick with just bitcoin-based blockchain v1, we're looking into further improvements. Having other coins to use will make us stuck with whatever the plans of the developers are if there are any and that's quite dangerous in our long term commitments. You can say to use established coins like ETH or BTC, it solves the problem of longevity of the coin because we know they're established but it limits our evolution of the blockchain itself. Though ETH already has Smart Contracts etc, there are still possible improvements that can be done to it. Thanks for the insight though, a quite unique question  Is there a roadmap/offical plan/whitepaper for the coin that i can read up? Would be interesting to read the technical goals Thanks for addressing my concerns that fast:) |

I bounty participants have been getting token since 8 days ago also 3 days ago very strange if the participants bounty in the first than the investor, you should confirm via email. Heya guys, new to this coin. Downloaded the wallet and added all nodes mentioned here. I have a connection between 1-4. But yet still the sync is suuuuuuuuper slow, why is that?
I have unlimited inet speed which downloads gb movies in minutes....soooo its not my connection. any ideas?:/
Anyone aware of a bootstrap for dtc? If not I will make one available How comes sync is so slow? Is it because the nodes have horrible inet atm or the tech is really slowing it down that much? For newcomers like me its really a big minus point on this project:/ Will still stay but just wanna give my 2 sats |

Weird exchange. Anybody knows their withdrawal fees? I wanted to know their BTC fee but since there is no BTC on the wallet, there is no info.
