361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 28, 2017, 04:36:10 AM
I'm scared
good..dont worry, it will end very soon.....next step will be happiness  Wink

I think so too, imagine all the banks in the world using ripple for their transactions. As soon as the big banks use it, the small ones will follow.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 26 GH/s on single rig Ethereum Mining on: August 28, 2017, 04:23:10 AM
Hi,
The question that's giving me goosebumps and sleepless night is how is this guy managing to get 26 GH/s with a single worker?

https://ethermine.org/miners/3509f7bd9557f8a9b793759b3e3bfa2cd505ae31

and this one 29 GH/s

https://ethermine.org/miners/558d2e1a5786848dfc24080aff7928da1c7d5c3a

It's possible that these addresses belong to the huge players in crypromining.
Genesis mining, Hashnest, Nicehash etc... all of these guys could run their ETH rigs over a single worker name
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining is Dead? Wait, I'm making more now? on: August 28, 2017, 04:20:43 AM
I was thinking after the Ethereum reduction in Eth rewards GPU mining would be gone, but it looks like I'm making even more money now with Zcash and Monero. What's going on anyone else notice this?

Check it out:

https://whattomine.com/coins

You should only be concerned by this when you sell all your coins immediately after receiving them from your mining pool. You should think more about how much these coins may be worth if you keep them for some years.
364  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many of you are millionaire here ? on: August 28, 2017, 04:18:45 AM
Satoshi nakamoto is the first bitcoin millionaire here in this forum, i guess there members here sho make millions out of bitcoin and they secretly donated some of its earning here in this forum to keep this site alive, but no one show his identity

There are some people who donated over 50 BTC to the forum. This is great but I'm shure they did this back in the days because today you would need to spend over 200.000$ to be listed in the top donators chart.
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: good crypto related channels? (news and such) on: August 28, 2017, 04:16:20 AM
I like Buried One Blockchain and Cryptomined for their videos about mining.
Boxmining makes videos about cryptos with very nice explanations.
You can find all their videos on Youtube.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is the Founder of Cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2017, 04:12:32 AM
I'd never thought about it that way, but you are absolutely right.

I'll join your opinion.

Henry Ford produced the first car, eventough there were some tries by others.
And Satoshi created the first big Cryptocurrency which is used by so many people nowadays.
367  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? on: August 28, 2017, 04:04:27 AM
Vod you're totally right.
I've just seen a thread in the off topic section with the title: Thank you God for...
And of course he posted the same "evidence" of the existence of god in there.

But one thing might be interesting? About which god are we talking about?

In my eyes there's only one god: mother nature. She gives birth to everything and she offers us a perfect environnment. She evolved over millions of years into perfection. Every insect has it's task and every animal lives in complete harmony with nature. Evolution created the perfect nature, which might be very fragile, bit which is balanced by thousands of little influences which all together create an environment in which we're able to live.

God should've told Jesus to preach about climate change so we would not be fucked today. Wink
368  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many of you are millionaire here ? on: August 28, 2017, 03:56:23 AM
I think that a millionaire would not post his luck on this thread. He might just get hacked?

I'm not yet a millionaire but let's hope the best for the future.
All of us will me millionaires one day if you keep some crypto on the side, until now not eben 1% of the world population uses cryptos. Let's wait for the day noone is stupid enough to use fiat currencies anymore.
369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie need help !! on: August 28, 2017, 03:37:45 AM
Try to check coinmarketcap regularly. You have to develop a feeling for the coins. Which one goes up in the same time another one goes down, it's really hard to predict but there are some relations too.
You can take a look at the gainers and losers too, right now you could maybe hop on the train from DeepOnion. But don't forget to get out before it falls down in case you ry to trade, or simply hold your coins and hope that in a year, more people will use OnionCoin and that the price rises. (Which is very probable because OnionCoin will be used on the Tor browser and there will be more and more people using this browser in the future.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 28, 2017, 03:30:38 AM
Because no one guides and teaches people what bitcoins are. Many people just discovered bitcoin because of the search. I wonder if it will be revealed on tv and internet so many people will know it

As soon as you can pay with Bitcoin in the same places you can pay with VISA, the demand will only increase. And the demand makes up the price.
And this is not unlikely, becauise every seller, shop etc only wants to make money. And this money should not go to a bank which charges them a certain percentage of fees.
They'll prefer to ignore this fees and use Bitcoin instead.

Since there are no factual "sitings" of evolution mutationa

The only way you can respond to my facts are with lies?  Sad

Mutations have been observed millions of times.

One only has to look at dogs to see how man's hand has evolved them over time due to mutations.

Now, now. Responding as all the deceptive evolutionists will get you nowhere. Didn't you even notice that it was not mutations that I was talking about? Rather, it was evolution mutations.

All mutations have been programmed by cause and effect, to happen just the way that they happened. All mutations are change, and that is the only thing that "evolution" means... change. There is no change of one species to another. There isn't really even any evidence of such. Evolution in this sense is 100% guesswork.

Cool

Some time ago, a very intelligent man walked on our earth. His name is Charles Darwin.
He made an expedition to the Galapagos Islands and he found out, that there were turtles whith lots of similarities and with a few differences. He found out that these turtles were ancestors of the same turtle breed. He started his research to find out why however these turtles had different mouths and noses.
His results showed, that a vulcanic erruption many years before his arrival divided the island in two parts. The turtles on the one side of the island could not get to the other side anymore because the magma blocked their way. That's why the turtles in the jungle developed longer necks and sharper mouths, to be able to eat fruits easier. The turtles on the other side of the magma developped flat noses to pick up food from the even rocks and beaches. The turtles had to evolve to be able to survive. Their environment changed and that's why the turtles themselves changed.

Please don't tell me that God made this vulcano explode and that it was planned to cut off the turtles from one side of the island.

Please do some research, especially on this case from Darwin on the Galapagos Islands.
I'd rather believe a man who wrote a book a dozen years ago instead of believing a book that has been written 2000 years ago and which was translated multiple times.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with Masternode? on: August 28, 2017, 03:12:37 AM
masternode coin is a somewhat new project with masternode airdrops https://docs.google.com/document/d/10r5cJLXmJDaB6_MmGPogN-VS4QmGBv-rLKycDDGBm_c/edit

Every master node project skyrockets I would check this one out for sure.

if every masternode project skyrockets, then why not make 1,000 projects, as they will skyrocket.

Well many coins with masternodes skyrocketed.
For instance Digital Price, since the release of Masternodes it went up from 0,01 to 0,03 and is now going down to 0,02$.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with Masternode? on: August 28, 2017, 01:04:31 AM
Digital Price succesfully launched masternodes. You need 25000 DP to get one.
Here's the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2120481
You can get DP on Novaexchange at the moment or you can mine it. It uses the X11 algorithm until the 30th september 2017, then it will switch to PoS.
374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? on: August 28, 2017, 12:58:09 AM
Humans, animals and other living organisms comes first in this world. God created all matter that includes animals like chicken. Chicken comes first if we based on the book of Genesis. It is impossible to think that egg comes first because egg come from chicken because chicken come from God. So chicken comes first.

lol

The egg came first, because all chickens must come from the egg.

All eggs must not come from the chicken.  A non-chicken laid a mutated egg that hatched into a chicken.

It's simple when you are not brainwashed with fairy tales.

The chicken came first in the creation.

No mutations exist that can turn from one species to another.

Cool

A dinosaur which looks like a bird might have evolved to a chicken. His DNA changed over millions of years and became closer to the DNA of a chicken and at one point in time the dinosaur laid aan egg containing the DNA closer to a chicken being than to an dinosaur and from there on we call it chicken. So it clearly comes from the egg.

But ETH has so many features that are not really used yet. Imagine a world in which smart contracts will be used everywhere. ETH might become bigger than BTC because of the advance in technology.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do to prevent bitcoin from crashing? on: August 28, 2017, 12:19:01 AM
You just have encourage people to use bitcoin (such as for payment method, currency, services or ICO option), if people chose to use bitcoin rather than sell it for fiat and use it, i'm sure bitcoin price won't crash.

I'm scared about the idea that Bitmain is holding a huge amount of BTC which they mined in the early years of ASIC mining equipment and that they will sell all their BTC at once, causing the most fatal crash in the complete history of BTC.

That would not be in their interest. If they have a very large amount they simply cannot sell them all at once, who would be all the buyers?

Maybe one day they'll quit producing ASICS and they want to "cash out" and they're going to live the rest of their life (and the kids of their kids probably too) as millionaires.
They could dump their BTC for 3/4 or 1/2 of the price and everyone will buy it like a fool because it's the lowest price for a long time.
At that point in time, BTC may be established everywhere in the world and they would be sure that BTC will recover even after dumping a huge load.

Yes, more likely is that they will slowly start selling off their bitcoin, if not already done. Plus if they have a good business model why change? They are moving into Litecoin and Dash now.

I agree, they don't care about bitcoin, they only care about their profit. They already focus make ASIC for altcoin or mine altcoin Roll Eyes

It's nearly suspicious how the announcement of the D3, Bitmains X11 Miner for Dash, come along with a huge increase in the price of Dash. It doubled in the last months.
Maybe they'll announce an insane BTC ASIC which will lead to an increase in the BTC price.

In germany it's pretty common actually. You can also order food online paying with bitcoin...  Cool
I think that Germany the one and only exception in the world, even in the last year when some country gathered to limit the transactions in bitcoin and limit his value by blocking hos growth Germany a said no !

I live pretty close to Germany and watch German TV sometimes, they never talk about BTC. There are some guys of course who know about the currency but I don't think that the percentage of people who use BTC is higher in Germany than in another country like France, the UK or the US.

I think that holding Cryptos is the easiest way to get a lot of money in the future.
I bought 10 ETH for 100€ and sold them for 350€. I wa so happy that day believe me, but a year later I'm struggling to accumulate 10 ETH again.
I'll keep my ETH for 10 years now and I'm looking forward to what I'll be able to buy with 10 ETH in 10 years, a house? An isloand? A bike? A bigmac? Noone knows.
