361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: May 10, 2023, 11:28:45 AM
The price of bitcoin is difficult to predict, when we think the price continues to rise but sometimes the opposite happens, the price continues to fall, the same as what is happening now, when the price in March reaches $ 30k then I'm optimistic that April can reach at least $ 40k, but what happens is the price dropped below $30k until now it hasn't returned to $30k, and to reach $100k of course it needs a gradual process.

it is indeed difficult to predict but from the history of bitcoin prices you can see patterns which will conclude something in the future. for example in the previous halving the price of bitcoin tended to decrease and then after the halving the price rose.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: does the increasing number of altcoins have a negative impact on the price btc on: May 09, 2023, 12:35:51 PM
I'm still a beginner in crypto, as we know from time to time the number of altcoins is increasing, but I want to ask,
will the increasing number of altcoins affect the price of bitcoin,?

but in my opinion it will not affect the price of bitcoin, even though the number of altcoins is increasing.

it has nothing to do with it at all, precisely with the increasing number of altcoins, it means that the adoption of crypt globally has increased, but the problem is that the number of altcoins that are increasing in the market does not indicate that the crypto market is growing well, it could be that most of the altcoins that appear today are shitcoins , which was launched only to create hype in the market.
363  Economy / Speculation / Re: How was your belief formed? on: May 09, 2023, 08:03:45 AM
sometimes we need to be ignorant of what other people are saying because sometimes what we believe in might be the best choice and that's what I believed in when I invested in crypto 5 years ago. Many people were skeptical and laughed at me, but when the bitcoin price went up significantly and went viral they came back to me with the intention that I could give them some advice on investing in cryptocurrencies. I just laugh watching them.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: May 08, 2023, 03:13:42 PM

65K Last year record price ever !

I think this year it might be full 100K Final bullrun for the coin.

it won't be possible for Bitcoin to reach 100K in 2024. let's just be rational using logic. Even if it reaches ATH alone, it is very much enough, considering that if it is too big a bubble, maybe when it bursts it will make the crypto market fall significantly. So I just hope that the Bitcoin price will be able to increase, but slowly, because it's much better.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: China Digital yuan vs US dollars on: May 07, 2023, 02:19:32 PM
china and America are actually the same, these two countries both want to become superpowers in terms of military and economy. but it would be great if china hit the market with their yuan and disrupted a market that has been dominated by dollars. With what China is doing, this will be a clear statement that America should not become a superpower that can dictate other countries according to their standards and this will probably be the beginning of the fall of the dollar in the global market.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin from 2009 on: May 07, 2023, 12:59:21 PM
Hello all, I am trying to track a bitcoin purchase I made in 2009, I no longer have the pc I used, I wrote the details on some paper and stored it but we've moved house a few times and it might have gone missing,  I have looked on every hard drive, flash drive, cd, dvd etc but to no avail so far.
I bought it off a forum post but I can't remember which forum. Did anyone sell bitcoin in 2009 and if so which forums did you use, I am trying to retrace my steps in the hope it jogs my memory,  I've only been looking for the last 2 years 🤣 so I don't mind looking for another 2 years.
Cheers

i know you are kidding now. But if what you say is true, it seems that it will not be possible to trace those bitcoins, not even for the next 10 or 50 years, you will not be able to track them if only that information is all you have.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: May 07, 2023, 11:29:15 AM
Despite no serious bull in the market for sometime,  I am thinking to buy more because the price at which bitcoin is right now I can be able to afford it. I planned buying when the price was at 40$ , the amount of bitcoin I planned to buy is a small quantity which if the market eventually go dip i may lost 30% of it. But now I feel even if I buy and it goes dip it wont go dipper the way the price is now.  What do you think about my plan?

to buy small amounts at several points continuously can provide profit, because even if our assets go down, we continue to make purchases, and when the price of Bitcoin goes up there we will get profit. your strategy is pretty good and i think it's good to try.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Fun Question Here] Where Would You Live As a Bitcoin Millionaire? on: May 07, 2023, 09:14:48 AM
i don't think I will leave my country if I become a Bitcoin millionaire someday because I think my country is now quite advanced in terms of economy and infrastructure. It's just that maybe I will move to a better city than where I am now, maybe close to the capital, because there I can not only place my family in a better city, but can also provide wider access for my family to can be more prosperous and access to better education.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking help with PEPE on coinbase wallet on: May 06, 2023, 11:58:57 AM
as far as i know, coinbase does not support pepe token trading and it is not possible to withdraw it arbitrarily. if you have already sent the token to that wallet, you should let it go or if they can withdraw the token and they charge high fees for that you should accept it because it's not their fault the pepe token is in your wallet.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Congress Meeting On Bitcoin Adoption on: May 06, 2023, 10:52:12 AM
this meeting means nothing, because we know that these congress people don't really believe in Bitcoin and they only have their own interests in mind. even I doubt that these congressmen understand what Bitcoin is. so there is no need to focus too much on meetings like this.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto traders beaten by girls on: May 06, 2023, 10:25:26 AM
i remember that one of my colleagues is a female trader and she is quite consistent in making profit from her trading. She said why women can “be more successful” consistent profit is because women are more patient than men. usually women will TP when they feel they have had enough, in contrast to men who tend to be impatient and keep their positions open even when they are already profitable.
372  Other / Off-topic / Re: Portfolio Grading: Is It Useful? on: May 05, 2023, 05:07:20 PM
There are some platforms and services that are now offering crypto portfolio grading as a way to evaluate the performance of a portfolio. However, I have several friends (investors) who argue that its useless.

I was wondering if anyone here has used it? If so, did you find it helpful in making investment decisions? What criteria did it use or should use to grade Huh

there's nothing wrong with that, all crypto tools are developed with a purpose, maybe for some people this grading tool is good for them to be able to monitor the performance of the portfolio before deciding to invest in certain assets. but for me personally, I prefer to keep doing research before investing and see how the use cases and performance are in the past few months. if it's good and potential, maybe i will invest or not.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: May 05, 2023, 04:10:15 PM
bitcoin price in 2023 will look like bullish but not really bullish because a real bullish will most likely be in 2024. I mean the price of bitcoin in 2023 tends to rise, a kind of long-term positive trend that makes the price of bitcoin slowly increase but not increase significantly like in 2021.

it's not bullish, it means we are in a sideway position, a position where the price of Bitcoin tends to rise but cannot penetrate its support and resistance points. 2024 is predicted to be bullish, but no one can confirm this, because people only predict from history that has happened that after the halving process the price of Bitcoin will increase significantly, but there is also a possibility that it will not increase immediately after the halving, it could 6 months more or less.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: May 05, 2023, 02:27:07 PM
It is very difficult to predict about how the next BTC pump will be because the price of BTC is very volatile. However, if someone says that BTC is a failed project, then that is wrong. People who think BTC is a failed project then that person doesn't understand about cryptocurrency. Therefore study first and understand in detail before saying if the BTC project failed.

no one dares to say that Bitcoin is a failed project, because in fact it is still running and growing. it's just that many people say that BTC is a scam project, where at any time it will fall suddenly which will be a financial disaster. to be honest, I don't really care about what other people think about bitcoin, because I'm ready with all the possibilities that happen
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: May 05, 2023, 01:49:14 PM
Quite a lot have happened in the crypto investment market with the long run of a bear market in 2022, as a result of the various market crisis ranging from ftx bankruptcy and Luna crash that affect the market for a long time, before the present recovery, many crypto analysts such as myself are confused as for what the level of confidence of investors towards altcoins in this period. Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?

it depends on the altcoin, if it's a popular altcoin like bnb, matic, phantom, and any other altcoin that has clear use cases, I'm pretty sure it would be great to hold for a long time. but for a new altcoin or meme token which only relies on pump and hype, I'm not too sure that it's a good token to hold for a long time.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ppl are rushing towards the ever evolving arbitrum block chain on: May 03, 2023, 04:18:27 PM
i'm not going to jump into trusting a single DEX platform without further research. Oscar swap, as you said, is quite secure and reliable, in my opinion, it's just nonsense, because it's not based on a solid foundation and moreover, doesn't the average scam DEX platform offer something similar? like the security and reliability of their platform? therefore it is a bit difficult nowadays to be able to trust a DEX platform, let alone a newcomer like Oscar Swap.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: May 03, 2023, 03:34:25 PM
Going after with meme tokens have a very uncertain future, hence, most are just investing on this at a short-time basis.

but there is no problem investing in meme tokens, it may give you higher profit compared to what Bitcoin or popular Altcoins can give you. If you know the right time to get in and out of this investment, you might be able to get a high profit, like my friend did when he managed to get a high enough profit investing in Shiba Inu. the point is not to be greedy and still know when to out.
378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving effects, how long they will last? on: May 03, 2023, 03:00:27 PM
Every 4 years, we expect bull market just because of halving. What do you think when is this chain is going to broken? Ie, halving no longer equals that bull market is coming.

maybe it will last for 6 months after the halving or a year or longer than that, we don't know. But what is certain is that our potential to be able to get a bullrun on the halvin in 2024 is much bigger and what we need to do now is to hold and hold, that's all.
379  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best laptops for crypto on: April 28, 2023, 06:06:19 PM
there is no standard laptop for crypto transactions, but a laptop with an Intel 13th generation processor, in my opinion, is good for that. especially if it has high ram specs like 16gb, that would be even better. For the graphics card it doesn't really matter, because your goal is only to exchange and hold tokens in the wallet you don't need a high-end graphics card for that.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 28, 2023, 03:10:56 PM
Currently investing in Bitcoin is the choice of many investors especially the price decline that has occurred until now has not reached the maximum number, so for those of us who currently have assets then it would be nice to invest in Bitcoin in the long term and we can also choose other altcoins that approximately have potential for the future, So now is our opportunity to be able to get maximum results for the future.

no one can guarantee that you will be able to get high profits in the future if you invest in bitcoin, and that is what people need to know first before investing in bitcoin. Investing with money you can afford to lose and sometimes investing in the short term can also be profitable compared to the long term, you can look at the history of bitcoin prices and compare year to year. Invest smartly and always look at the situation, that's the main key.
