361  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 02, 2015, 12:28:15 AM

yeah we cannot say that bitcoin is already mainstream because there such people who know what is bitcoin really are, and most of people are didn't yet know the bitcoin and also more people more likely to used their own currency than bitcoin, because they though that bitcoin is NETWORKING :3

The only way bitcoin could be assumed mainstream when there is a significant amount of people enough to stop transacting in any other currency except bitcoin. The amount of people who would desire this evolution would be enough to cause a change/effect loss in the market if they did not buy anything despite being potential customers of this organization/business/etc. As of now, bitcoin stands not mainstream.
Yes we could say that if most of people used bitcoin not totally all, but its a long time to happened that situation, we can only do is still support and used bitcoin or buy bitcoin to maintain its price so that users will not go and leave the bitcoin community.

I think there are more ways to support bitcoin than just using bitcoin, we can really help bitcoin if we actually make it a part of our life. We should talk about it to other people or else get more involved with other people in the community and make apps and websites which drive more potential users to the bitcoin world which educates and also benefits them

yes, mouth publicity is the biggest publicity in the world, For eg If you watch a movie and tell your friend that it was worth to spend money on it, other 10 guys will go and watch the movie, same goes with the bitcoin too. We need to spread the awareness level among the people around us, if publicity is done in the proper way then surely the bitcoin users would be more in future.

Bitcoin needs a great leader to lead the team of bitcoin users which can make a difference. As we are influenced by the great leaders that we simply start following them, and if those leaders starts promoting bitcoins, then it is a win-win situation for the bitcoin community as there would be many others who will wish to follow or join the team  Grin
362  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: August 02, 2015, 12:22:12 AM
Bitcoin should be our new world currency. It's far more valuable than other cryptos including fiat (1 BTC = $285) while as it is a decentralized and global currency for anyone to use. Another thing that Bitcoin does is to prevent inflation unlike fiat of course. Just my opinion  Grin

That is true, but bitcoin to replace any major currency doesn't seem possible looking at the present price fluctuations in bitcoin.

I firmly believe that new world currency would be USD as it is the most powerful currency and cannot just disappear with the existence of bitcoins. USD have maximum users and have faith in it and surely they would not trust any crypto in compare to USD.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: August 02, 2015, 12:18:07 AM
Bitcoin as a Retirement Account. I think that's a good idea  and if Bitcoin is a long-term success in 10+ years it will be a better a retirement No fees, no age restrictions, etc

It is definitely a good idea to have a bitcoin as a retirement account, as we predict and we hope that the value of bitcoin will be much higher in coming 10 to 15 years and the most important thing is how much bitcoin you hold or you plan to have in your wallet at the age of retirement is also important. If the value reaches to the moon then even 10 BTC is good value to hold.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: August 02, 2015, 12:13:30 AM
I guess in the future bitcoun will be priceless, maybe not priceless but the rate is going down
Why is going down, give us your reason why price bitcoin will be down ?

No one can be 100% sure whether the price will go high or low. Time will show, as the future is unpredictable and so as bitcoin. The future is safe if the adoption is good, more and more people getting involved in bitcoins will make it price more valuable and more stable. But the point is it should get an wider acceptance across the globe.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: August 02, 2015, 12:07:58 AM
You can start giving out loans and charge 10-20% interest with collateral to people, even on these forums. That's a nice way to make some profit!

That can be one way to double your bitcoins.

I prefer Gambling, Gambling and Gambling, as I want to double it in a quick way, I would prefer to take a risk and even if I loose doesn't matter as I know that the day luck favors me, I can make it double or triple in a single day.

Gambling & Trading are ways to turn your 2 BTC to 4 BTC quickly depends upon the guts you have to take risk to really make it happen. I would rather go with Signature Campaigns where you can earn descent amount of bitcoins weekly which can take care of your basic expenses.
366  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Bitcoin Ruin Your Life, Or Help Your Life? on: August 02, 2015, 12:03:23 AM
I think Bitcoin is helping, fast transactions etc.  Wink Bitcoin is more and more popular, BTC is future for all people  Wink

Yes, and it is helping in different ways, not only fast transactions but also for online shopping, online recharge of phone or skype credit, etc. The people who know the exact use of bitcoins will be definitely benifited by the bitcoins and now it has become a part of day to day life. I mean I turn off the websites that doesn't accept payments in bitcoins.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 01, 2015, 10:54:30 PM
Why not both? Diversification is important.. I'd say gold is more stable, but expected price gains are lower.

Diversification is the best way to get rid of this confusion that which is better investment for the future. Diversifying your investments can minimize your risk at a great level, as you know any one of the product would surely survive in the future. So even if one doesn't work, we can recover our losses from the other product.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 01, 2015, 10:37:29 PM
the transactions are instant , only confirmations get some time ,anyway,be able to buy with bitcoins is on of the big purposes of it lower the fees paying less and getting a good product as we would pay with fiat.Atleast is should be like that since the fees to pay and receive in bitcoins are very low,soo i hope commerce and people understand that they can have the same profit asking a lower ammount with bitcoins.

Not everytime confirmations takes time, only few times but that is a part and parcel of any technology that we use. But for me bitcoin is something best when it comes to online transfers to send money across the countries with very low transaction costs and also the purchasing power goes low as you dont want to keep on spending your bitcoins as you want to keep it safe for the future.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 01, 2015, 10:23:07 PM
The only money I save is through buying Bitcoin I've personally never had so much money at any given time in my savings.

I think that has happened because you have not made any other external use of your btc by investing it into something, gambling, etc. You're a hodler and you will not let go until it is a very very big market. That is a good thing but I advise you to play a little with your bitcoins and maybe invest them into something you think has a future, or better yet gamble with the coins you think you can afford to lose. Sometimes you will comeback with lot more you think you were ready to let go.

Suggesting someone to gamble with their money / BTC in order to save money is the worst and funniest thing I've read this week.. Overal, you loose money with gambling. Yes, there's a chance that you win money, but - in the end - there is always a bigger chance that you loose money (as the casino / dice website etc has an house edge in order to be profitable).

Investing might be a good advise - as long as you invest well and in the right project. That's very hard too..

I had the same ideology till a week ago, I was really tired of how things were working out for me and decided to gamble with 0.5 btc. I guess I was either really good at online casino or I was really lucky but I did make 6x of what I started with. I think gambling is fun when you have money to gamble. It is all about discipline too, you should know when to stop. I see a lot of negativity about gambling because a lot of people end up losing, its okay, to each his own Smiley
The problem (at least for me) is that is so addictive. I won $2000 dollars at a casino in my city and I ended up becoming addicted to gambling. I slowly lost the $2000 I won and then some. If you are able to discipline yourself, by all means.

Discipline is an integral part of gambling, If you win the first game, just quit. That is the best way to do, but if you keep on thinking of doubling your coins and continue to play, I bet you will end up loosing. And with gambling only the casino owners gets rich, not the players like us. So once in a while if you gamble for a fun then it is acceptable, don't make it as a habbit.
370  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: August 01, 2015, 10:19:50 PM

Yes Signature Campaigns are the good source to earn bitcoins, and the payout is guaranteed so there is no risk involved in it. I am 1 BTC per month from the signature campaigns and I believe it is a descent amount to earn.

For me, 1 BTC is like a extra income taking care of my basic stuffs like bills, grocery stuff and I am very much satisfied with it, in future I would use my luck in trading.

Campaigns are a dangerous thing to become dependent on. They can come and go like the tides. They are sweet while they last.

Correct. But there are few campaigns like bit-x and bitmixer that are in existence since long time and bit x payout is very good any it is on time. Whereas bitmixer payout is low but it is a good source of income for a newbie who have just entered the world of bitcoins. It would be an learning experience for them. What you suggest about the future of signature campaigns?
371  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 01, 2015, 10:15:56 PM
The jobs directly involved with Bitcoin development will require you an engineer degree minimum, so it's a small %.
The rest of the jobs are also coding related, and then trading, not much else. Anything that doesn't involve coding is basically gambling, not a "true" job in the classic sense (for me someone that makes crypto trading for a living doesn't have a "true" job), sure skill is needed but it's too unstable. Sig campaign is obviously not a true job, just nice extra.

Yeah, you cannot treat Gambling as a job, as it is truly based on the luck factor, one day you win and next ten days you turned up loosing, as for fun it is good, but your life depending on gambling doesn't sound great.

On the other hand, signature campaigns are just a source to earn bitcoins or you can call it as a part time income to take care of your day to day expenses, Surely one will not quit his job for the sake of bitcoins. As the job provides financial security to a person and his family.
It's really sad to see that so many people think playing poker as a job. I had a friend who was addicted to gambling and he ended up demanded money from me to play poker, then got mad at me for losing. Don't gamble dude, you're only hurting yourself.

Exactly, gambling is an addiction, once you are into it, it is very difficult to come out of it, as when you win you become more greedy to win more, and when you loose, you keep on thinking that I want to recover my losses of previous game and the process continues. But end of the day, you have nothing in your hand and that is very painful.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 01, 2015, 10:12:03 PM
We live in a random, disorderly, unjust world. If you are in the right place at the right time you can make more money than someone else that works harder than you everyday could possibly earn over 100 lifetimes.

You speak about the luck quota. Some people have a lot of it, some people have ran out of it years ago. There is simply no substitute for hard work and there is no easier way than luck. If a hard working person turns out to be lucky enough, that very person is bound to reach phenomenal heights with his vision and passion. Sometimes, its all in our mind and if we perceive ourselves and our situations to be lucky, then indeed we are Wink

There is a substitute for hard work and that is Smart Work, If you work smart then I guarantee you that you can be more successful then those who works hard.

And if we are discussing hear about the luck factor, then I would rather find a super rich girl who is only daughter of her father and get married to her and get rich in a single day, that is the best way to get rich  Grin

Lol. That is the right thing to do. But everyone is not that lucky to find a super rich girl, as this is not a film, this is the reality super rich girl will never get married to a poor guy. The only way to get rich is to invest your knowledge in something that you expertise in, and once you get on the right track no one can stop you in getting rich.
373  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 22, 2015, 07:11:25 PM
i dont have that much, though im planning to buy some of them as i believe the price will significantly rise in the future what would lead me into having huge profit

Good, If you are planning to buy than You should buy it right now as the prices are comparatively low at present so if you buy right now then in future if the prices goes high then you are already making profit out of it.

So I would suggest you to have atleast 2 bitcoins with you and keep it safe for the future. As it is concluded that prices will reach upto $2000 or more.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: July 22, 2015, 07:02:31 PM
Only 1, when i told him about bitcoin, he just don't believe it and i never talk about it anymore.

he don't believe what? that bitcoin can surpass fiat, that can rise to 10k? or that simply bitcoin isnt' real but just a ponzi scheme and nothing else like many depict it...

personally i would try to convince him, you can do it pretty easily, by starting with saying that bitcoin is money
Not all people can understand or trust something new like bitcoin. He will say 'are you kidding me?' or 'don't joke around me', when he hear its value is higher than fiat. Trust to me, its hard to recommend people in a city that less bitcoin development.

yeah. right now it is no hard to convince many people to accept what benefits bitcoin has to offer . but when the price goes up everybody will be interested in it again.

just like before when the price was going up i could hear everywhere that people are talking about bitcoin

That is true People will talk about bitcoins when the prices goes up, but what  when the prices are going down or fluctuating like anything, at that stage they will start talking negative related to bitcoins and would just  avoid it by saying its just an scam, cannot afford to trust bitcoins as an investment tool. And that's the reality.
375  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: July 22, 2015, 06:58:54 PM
i would only sell my bitcoins if the price goes up to $1000 soon.

I think you should have patience and wait for some more time. As we believe it would reach $2000 sooner or later. And looking at the present scenario I believe it would reach upto that mark. If it reaches that price then that is the best time to sell as we would be earning profits out of it. But it depends on how much bitcoins do u hold??
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the Religion?! on: July 22, 2015, 06:55:48 PM
i dont think that bitcoin is a religion as in religion you have to believe something even though no one can prove that its real or something like that, and bitcoin is real, no one can say that its fake so i guess its not religion

Religion is something we follow since we are born that's what our parents teach us. And following bitcoin as a religion is something far away. We don't believe that bitcoin is a religion it is just a currency which can be replaced by any other currency in the future. So it is useless to say that bitcoin is a religion.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: July 22, 2015, 06:50:37 PM
Large amounts of money make people lose that generous, kind, caring part of their personality. The people who give the most are those who have the least. People who do not have much ate much more real.

Yes a poorer guy would be more helpful then that of the richer guy. The poor person understands the emotions of others as he has gone through the same phase.

Comparatively rich people don't have respect for the poor and they don't treat them as they should be treated. It is better to be poor and helpful rather to be a rich and useless  Wink
378  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2015, 03:28:42 PM
Of course, the big mistake was gambling.  Shocked Lost/wasted most of my bitcoins.

Yeah same here. Lost most of my bitcoins in gambling. And that was worst feeling ever. So that day I decided that I would stay away from gambling as it is better not to go for quick money as at the end of the day it is more important that you earn with respect and with hard work. If my parents gets aware that I am into gambling then they would throw me out of the home  Grin
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most bitcoin-friendly region in the world? on: July 22, 2015, 03:10:35 PM
In Asia there is not much hype on cryptocurrency yet. You can try talking to any person on the road and they will not know what it is. Chances are Asia will not be friendly to bitcoin any time soon, because they are conservative and something this new will take a long time before it is used. I am Asian.

Your are right. It will take a long way for asians to have faith in bitcoins and start using it. As you said that asians are very conservative and they will not trust something that is totally new to them.

Even if we recommend them for bitcoins, they would think twice before using it and out of 100 only 10% of the people would show their interest in learning something new.
380  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 21, 2015, 07:31:34 PM
I used to have it but I lost it all in online gambling. So, my answer is no, for now.

Same here. I had 1BTC in the past but even I lost in the gambling on sport and now It is really hurting me. If I would have kept it safe then atleast it would be helpful for me in some other way like shopping or paying my bills etc. So now I am regretting on that but now Can't help. So the answer in NO.
