Why ALTcoins are going down..I swear..in last 5 months i got 4X profit but from last 2 days 2Xdown..now almost iam near to my investment..any one suggest me is it good to sell all alt coins or need to wait for another pump..which is good choice..
This kind of price situations don't surprise me. These currencies have really fluctuate prices and this is normal. In my opinion, being patient and staying away from panic sells are the best choices. |

It is increasingly clear that 90% of the "disruptive decentralized blockchain ecosystem platform blah blah blah" altcoins are pure shit.
Therefore, which ones to choose on this sea of deceptive coins?
There is life beyond the classic ones Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Dash, Litecoin...?
I mean, not just "good projects", but usefull products that may indeed impact the people's life.

I am not sure about that, there is life beyond the classic coins. Because I think these coins are not giving the necessary trust. I know that, any coin can show a really big rising, but I also think it is better to choose the classic ones. |

Hi, I hold a few tokens of varied nature and a few coins. I have setup a few eth addresses for the younger members of my family. I am talking about kids that are less than 3 yr old  So, what would you include in their new accounts, so that they can use it in 15 yrs? First of all, 15 years is a really long term, do not forget that, there is nothing obvious about the future of the cryptocurrencies. According to price graphics, I think bitcoin and ethereum might bring really good profits in the future. |

For now, I am not sure about that Litecoin has the best price for buying. Although its pump overed, I think much better prices to buy may come in the near future.

Fist post here from a big newbie who started crypto at the end of December and only do mistake after mistake.
Mistake #1, I bought €400 of BCH at 3418$ during the CB "hack" back in December, hold till then. This was a extraordinary non sense action.
Mistake #2, yesterday I PANIC sold all my 253 XRP that I purchased at high prices such as €1.9 €2.1, 2.6€ for €552 (profit about €50) during the drop and CB ending the fake speculations. I was better to just go sleep, it already recovered a bit and I guess it will go higher in long therm.
Current portfolio at time of writing:
- 0.4 XMR at €305 (about €100 green)
- 7.6 EOS at €7 (about €100 green)
- 0.15 BCH at 3418$ and 0.035 at €2286 (about €360 red)
- 30 XRP at €2.45 (about €70 red)
- Available funds on account: €930.
After all, I am starting thinking that crypto isn't for me, I don't have the hindsight, the psycho neither the nerve to do it correctly and hold for long therm. Some people tell me to buy again XRP. Other people tell me to only buy BCH and XMR which have use cases, all the other money are just good to purchase Pokemon cards, they are so many ALT and at the end only MS, Google and Apple will stay... Here on this forum, the users seems to have a divided opinion on XRP. I also read about Waves, NEO, ETP, ENG.. Now I see that bitcoin bounce and seem to affect a lot of things. As a very bad newbie I have a hard time to forge my own opinion and stay on my positions.
I am not sure if this is a legitimate request: I am looking into advise to make a long therm portfolio with the remaining of my funds to possibly recover from my mess and stay a bit more relaxed. Note: I know that this money could be potentially lost in any case as there is always a risk.

Do not make investments with the amounts which can give you economic crysis. Be ready for every kind of increasing or decreasing results. Make a lot of researchs about the coins, but make your decisions just on your own. Good luck! |

i am using of bitcoin since 2011 even i sold my bitcoins at 20$ --> 1 Bitcoin i was getting lot of payment minimum was 250$ to 1800$ each payment
but i was unlucky never expected that boost in bitcoins and i missed this chance
also in February 2017 my friend came and told me to buy ETC and ETH and hold them for 8 or 10 months i buy approx 4000$ ETC and hold them for 2 months then sold it was really good profit but ETC was going down so i was affaired from loss and i sold all .
now i am really ready to invest in any coin but i will take this decision which should i buy please mention coin name also tell me reason thank you
If a coin's price falls, it is not the meaning of that you lost your money. If you sell your coins with the panic, yes, this is the loss. In my opinion, being cold-blooded and being ready for every kind of results is the key when you trading with cryptocurrencies. |

I don't know about mining, but for trading, I can clearly say that, it is not hard for some coins that it have a potential or not. Sometimes price charts can show something about the potentials. If you want to improve yourself on trade, in my opinion, you should know about the price movements. But on the other hand, the luck is the biggest factor on this.

Hi, I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit.. After 14 days the price is dropping.. They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  ) My answer.. Just wait! - Developers can't work 24 hours a day - don't check the twitter or ANN every hour - a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient.. If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.I agree with you. Many people are expecting catching good profits in a little time, but I think it is not the right thing. Being patient is a really important factor of trading with cryptocurrencies. |
