361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin will either die or stabilize around 200-500 dollars on: December 08, 2013, 05:48:05 AM
No need for praying.  Bitcoin is going up to $1,000,000 / coin

this is ONLY the beginning
and this latest downslide will look as miniscule as the one in 2011 or April of this year

1 million usd per btc? Lol.
You should stop dreaming Cheesy

He is not the only one. That guy thinks that bitcoin can reach 1m$
http://www.businessinsider.com/hugh-hendry-bitcoin-could-hit-1-million-2013-12#ixzz2mWwXWByB
and this one thinks for 2.8m $

To tell you the truth i was expecting to read some shittier stories. In any case have you found your wallet yet  Tongue
363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE CRASH OF THE BITCOIN BUBBLE HAS BEGUN! SEE CHART. on: December 08, 2013, 05:36:03 AM
You understand that there was very specific news that caused the price to collapse right?  Roll Eyes
364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't sell your bitcoins while it's falling! on: December 08, 2013, 05:34:23 AM
Thank you for your kind thoughts but may I respectfully request you to fuck off?

HA HA!  Your response just proved my point.  Btc true believers are in the ANGER/DENIAL stage.  In this stage anyone who has a short term bearish view and/or who dares question their almost religious belief is attacked with ferocity, rage and ridicule.

Only people who are losing money on their investment get that angry!

I 'm a true believer in bitcoin and i also believe that volatility hurts the currency badly. Obviously people will get angry when they lose money but they 'll also calm down in the next rise  Tongue
365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coins of the second generation on: December 08, 2013, 05:31:25 AM
What do you think ?

In Satoshi's last and final post before abandoning Bitcoin and running off with well over 1 million Bitcoins, he said "there are still more ways to attack us that I can count". Bye, LOL.

Seriously? Your way to promote your altcoin is to talk shit about satoshi? Good luck with that  Roll Eyes
366  Economy / Speculation / Re: so glad i bought at 1000 on: December 08, 2013, 05:20:29 AM
I can't see the part that you are glad that you bought at 1000$.
I mean you jumped on the wagon so gj anyway but still...
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: A dark day in the history of bitcoin..... on: December 08, 2013, 05:18:44 AM
It's a brilliant day. May BTC go down to 600 before the next bubble.

It's a brilliant day if you sold at 1000$. For everyone else it is just a nightmare. Also no thank you. We don't want any more bubbles.
Just a slow and steady growth.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POLL: Which coin should BTC-E add next? on: December 08, 2013, 05:13:35 AM
Based on the results of this poll @ 484 votes:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359521.0

The top 5 alt coins with the most potential besides LTC are:
1) Quark 69 (14.2%)
2) Stablecoin 59 (12.2%)
3) Worldcoin 41 (8.5%)
4) Megacoin 31 (6.4%)
5) Digitalcoin 24 (4.9%)

Which one would you like to see next on BTC-E?

You mean the top 5 alt coins with the most fanboys that voted on the poll  Embarrassed
While it might be an indication of popularity it is far from an index for potential
369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2013 December 6th, Bitcoin Falls in Value on: December 08, 2013, 05:10:44 AM
Yes its people realizing that the bank of china notice it's serious because baidu already stopped accepting bitcoins. Add some "bitcoin is banned in china" fud and voila.

Yes, but there are some good news as well, tommorow will be interesting

What are the good news? The bank of america 1300$ thing? I don't see it having any impact whatsoever.

What about the bitcoin Tesla S?

I think that's more bad news. I mean it looks like bitcoiners are a bunch of idiots that are buying tesla's instead of real cars.  Embarrassed
370  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-07 LA TIMES: Don't you feel silly now? on: December 08, 2013, 05:09:12 AM
The article is not so bad. I mean clearly the writer doesn't believe in bitcoin but it's an article focuses on volatility and volatility is a fact in bitcoin.
Apart from the title everything else is fine with me.

anybody who gets into bitcoin thinking that there won't be volatility is just a fool. im pretty sure most people who bought in felt this way at least.

i just think the writer is doing this premature "i told you so" .. well, my response is "no shit, bitcoin is a volatile currency/asset."

Actually he is just stressing out volatility and he even says that the price might return soon to pre  crash levels. Pretty descent article from someone that obviously thinks of bitcoin as something that it's not going to happen.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: [BEARS ONLY] Predict the next big crash <600 on: December 08, 2013, 05:07:19 AM
Not a Bear or Bull, but I still find it surprising BTC has retained its current value during this cycle.

I 'll share the same surprise if the price stabilizes or even better if the downtrend gets reversed. For now i 'm still kinda scared.  Lips sealed

we're all scared.. but fuck it, i'm all in. i don't think i'm going to pretend like i know what's going to happen anymore.. maybe it'll go below $500, or maybe it won't. there's no way i can know who the manipulators are and aren't, and what they are planning.

My guess is that even manipulators (If there are any) got surprised from the recent china notice  Embarrassed
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Litecoin on: December 08, 2013, 05:02:38 AM
All I see here , is a bunch of bitcoin users scared that one day Litecoin will overtake Bitcoin and had to make a thread about it . What you scared bitcoiners don't understand is everytime you mention litecoin in a good or bad way it grows , so thanks for that . I'll put my money in a coin where I know who created it .

apart from the very early adopters everyone else i guess that has more litecoins than bitcoins. But still litecoin overtaking bitcoin is kinda impossible.
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over. Bitcoin is finished. on: December 08, 2013, 05:00:42 AM
The last bubble was bitcoin's last hope for establishing itself, now that it's crashed in the middle of the media spotlight, no one will have confidence in it anymore. Have fun holding the last tulip when it all comes crashing down. Serves the gullible idiots right for buying into a ponzi scheme posing as a fake currency.

havent even read the rest of this thread.

but if this is the general noob sentiment of someone with activity 25 then...

i'm getting ready to buy back in!  woo

I don't think that we should take so lightly the fact that many people will get scared from bitcoin's volatility. And indeed this time is different because of the increased media attention.
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Slush's pool switch on: December 08, 2013, 04:52:25 AM
With the long rounds, and poor payouts, I've decided that I'm switching to BTCGuild, and I was wondering, if I canceled my account, would I get the owed BTC? Currently, I'm owed 0.00947298 BTC. Would I have to keep mining until I get my threshold past my payout? Thanks.

Well if there is a minimum payout threshold then you should reach that. I mean it is there for a reason  Tongue
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to buy Infinitecoin (must read for investors) on: December 08, 2013, 04:50:03 AM
But if bitcoin switches to millibitcoins? Then there will be enough millibits for everyone and our infinite coin is doomed  Embarrassed
376  Local / India / Re: BTC Going back to $100 on: December 08, 2013, 04:48:15 AM

French banks are irrelevant in the latest crash. Also the chinese seems to be those those less panicking from the situation.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over. Bitcoin is finished. on: December 08, 2013, 04:44:38 AM
Although bitcoin is far from finished it was a big hit and everyone that doesn't see that is just a fool.
It was a hit because it remind it to everyone how volatile bitcoin still is and negative press will focus on that from now on.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that doesn't lose value on: December 08, 2013, 04:42:38 AM
You system requires some authority to set the rate so you are talking for something other than decentralized cryptos.
379  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: SkyMiner Labs just a good word about them on: December 08, 2013, 04:38:03 AM
And a whopping activity level of 3! I trust this guy so much, here's a million dollars!

Because that's what is off here  Roll Eyes
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Litecoin on: December 08, 2013, 04:32:22 AM
LTC appears to offer very little (if anything) to the marketplace. Its sole benefit appears to be pump and dump.

I don't see anyone dumping their litecoins even after its price went from 2$ to 40$. Obviously there is a lot of speculation around it but certainly not a pump and dump scheme.
