361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DeFi help ethereum reach it's old 4 figure value? on: July 01, 2020, 06:49:57 PM
Ethereum is growing popularity has largely been attributed to the rising interest in DeFi projects, what's going on? Will ethereum finally be able to leave it's 3 figure value?

The number of daily addresses interacting with ETH has surge in the past 24 hours to a Two Years single day high of 486,000 addresses! The last time Ethereum's address activity was this high was on May 5th, 2018
DeFi being very popular right now could be the driving force for next eth bull run but still i will put more weight into eth 2.0 and all the upgrades coming to eth network and also pos will have big impact as it will be attractive for big investors.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo can be future crypto rival on: July 01, 2020, 05:05:44 PM
We cant deny NEO and its price . It is POS based smart contract creation platform already in a place . Also having max supply limit of 100 million it is the current status
But my assumption ( There is no Proof) . As it is a china based smart contract creation platform china already looking for USD alternative also in the run of competing with USA and its alies . Ethereum already known to be USA investment . May china start investing and promoting NEO instead of developing new . Its just a possibility . So we cant simply ignore neo.
Neo is a top coin to invest and hold and i am still holding it because i know the potential of this outstanding project but i will confess that i was really disappointed with the dump of its price after all time high price the price is still very low considering the value of the project.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: June 30, 2020, 11:03:46 PM
It's 90% untrue story when new projects failed to launch their project because of COV19 pandemic because every thing about crypto is digital, you can continue development digitally even if the team are in their separate homes, I can still cut some slacks with projects from Italy and France, they are the hot zones of Cov-19 pandemic but what about others??? We have Zoom app thats very good for team to come together and make a plan because of social distancing,. What am I missing guys Huh Am I right or wrong?
Personally whenever i get to hear some lame excuses from a new project team i really get very discouraged and i start taking that project as scam as it is a red flag to me and most such projects do prove it with time but some of them revive and do well too but in my experience we cannot simply ignore these little things as an investor.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What's your favorite DeFi projects and why? on: June 30, 2020, 10:50:04 PM
Decentralized finance based projects are doing really well and many people think that this is the new trend but have you checked out centralized finance based projects? Almost all of them are rocking with their tokens almost at all time high prices, checkout nexo, Celsius and crypto com and you will know how big they have become.
Both of them work differently most of the decentralized based projects work on liquidity pools where you lend your eth to these pools and in return you get profit while centralized ones are simple lending or direct lending projects but yes they are better in terms of user interface and ease of use plus straight forward returns plan lusted on each paltform.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most difficult use cases to trust in crypto space today on: June 30, 2020, 10:33:53 PM
Each category of projects is full of scams these days you cannot just name a couple and think that most others are legit, to be honest there have been so many scams in crypto exchanges and mining category of projects that they cannot be matched, real estate and gold backed are also risky categories but i do not think there are many projects in these categories while i can name dozens in the categories i posted about.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: June 30, 2020, 10:07:31 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

Yeah it is really disappointing scenario, even the projects that have paid boumty rewards tokens, the price dumps multiple times to new lows just before bounty distribution and it dumps further after the distribution for serious promoters and hodlers this situation is really worrisome, there should be a mechanism so that the prices can be stabilized around ico prices atleast.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to retrieve my invested BTC from Plustoken? on: June 29, 2020, 10:17:33 PM
We have constantly suggested people to stay away from all thess ponzi schemes but people just do not listen and get lured to the shiny returns, you money is most probably gone my friend, by now you should know that it was a scam project and everything was a hoax, so stop investing in ponzis and try to find serious platforms rather than throwing away your money in get rich quick schemes.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to be your own cryptobank, earn interest, and cash out anonymously on: June 29, 2020, 08:41:06 PM
Medium Article:
https://medium.com/@happy_psyduck/how-to-be-your-own-bank-with-fiatdex-and-the-dai-stablecoin-6f53d930e950?sk=ea7e4f75888862eb9e847c8f82c58d45

This article describes how to setup your own stablecoin (DAI) based cryptobank using a decentralized peer to peer fiat gateway called FiatDex and decentralized lending protocols that earn interest.
Market for these dexes and decentralized finance based projects is massively growing and also we are seeing new projects popping up, i like this one as the project involves dai stablecoin but i think we have to be careful as many scammers follow the trend like we saw in ICOs
so now there may be scammers in disguise in form of new defi projects, just be vigilant.
369  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Read and Learn bounty managers on: June 25, 2020, 06:52:32 PM
New bounty managers, watch and learn, Here are the words coming from a very good bounty manager who knows what he is doing and only cares about his reputation a.k.a bubbalex, someone asked on telegram why bubbalex haven't introduced any new bounty project since Cartesi which was a bounty from 2019, here is his answer

Unfortunately, I have not yet found a good new project to launch a bounty. There were several opportunities to launch campaigns, but projects that wanted to order my services did not meet my standards, I would not want to launch a campaign for the campaign, with a project whose tokens have no real value.

https://imgur.com/x0I25y2.jpg

I hope other bounty managers learn from this guy, he chooses quality over quantities, the first bounty manager that turns away some bounties to safe his reputation.. a round of applause for bubbalex
Bubbalex has been examplery as a bounty managet while if we see other than him there is a rat race of getting more and more campaigns without analysing the quality of the project or the legitimacy of the team, due diligence of each new prohect is the need of the hour and is badly missing from current bounty managers, they desperstely need to adopt quality filterstions before accepting a new project for bounty campaign.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: June 25, 2020, 04:44:30 PM
I do not follow any kind of rating or surveys or even expert opinions now because after so many years i have learnt that market decides when to move, market decides when bull trend starts and it is the market only that decides when the down trend will start so no real value in all these ratings or stuff.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallets for staking cryptos? on: June 25, 2020, 04:13:55 PM
Hi there , I’m Dan.
[w88
There are few wallets that I am aware of like Atomic wallet, trust wallet, Tezos and ledger.

Are there any more and do they all support multi cryptocurrency staking also?

The above four do support staking as per my understanding.

Thank in advance.
Why you are looking for more wallets? I mean just stuck with reputable wallets why would you like to risk your portfolio and investment by putting it to some shady wallet, you should be very sensitive and careful about where you are holding your portfolio, do not trust each and every wallet with your money.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a corrupt team cook a blockchain? on: June 24, 2020, 07:49:50 PM
I have some suspicion a coin I'm staking had a team take over it that "cooked it's books" somehow.   The wallet keeps stalling and will not sync, and there are others on the thread/channel that say they are able to sync and stake. This has happened a number of times since a person took over the development.  The blockchain their new coin creates never works for more than a few weeks but supposedly for a couple people it does. Many chime in on the thread that they are not able to sync.

I know behind the scenes at the code level (or maybe node level) there is a lot of control a developer can have.   Is it possible for a corrupt team to make it that only certain people are getting stakes?
Definitely a red flag and in these circumstances the wise thing is to stop staking and get rid of your inventory as soon as possible, just accept the loss and find a better coin to stake or invest in believe me there are dozens of quality coins out there, do not just go after roi consider the genuinity, reputation and quality first always.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Volatility is good but... on: June 24, 2020, 06:41:11 PM
Volatility is the hallmark of crypto market and i personally know many forex traders that are attracted to crypto markets just because of volatility so whenever they feel that forex market is slow or there is no volatility they switch to crypto and they always find good opportunities in crypto pairs, i do not think crypto volatility will go away anytime soon, it would take many many years for the market to come into a stable state.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that Crypto mass adoption is getting in place on: June 24, 2020, 06:06:50 PM
Do not rely on this, it's just a news that could or could not happen, Yesterday news broke regarding the strong possibility that PayPal and Venmo, the two notable fintech companies are both moving to add direct crypto and Bitcoin trading capabilities to their users, what do you think will happen if this comes true??? I like the fact that this is happening and DeFi projects are doing their thing too
Other than paypal news we also had an exceptional news of 40 plus crypto based companies teaming up to provide a payID project for the ease of crypto payments. The main aim of this project is that common man can be able to use crypto easily for payments and transfers in easiest way possible. I think it is a remarkable thing and surely will help in mass adoption of cryptocurrencies world wide.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be some kind of Ethics Counsel for Altcoins? on: June 23, 2020, 10:26:53 PM
There is a new coin that just called itself Compound Coin but as probably many of you know, there has been an active coin named Compound Coin for five or more years.  They both have the same symbol.

The old Compound coin has an active community.

What can we do about people just coming in and stealing coin's intellectual property?

Websites have a system, I think we need a system, at least with heavyweights like Charlie Lee, etc. and various bloggers picketing the new thieving coin.
I totally agree with you and there is a high need of some regulator that monitors and controls all the troubling issues, for now atleast this can be done that the teams should atleast do complete research about all the present and past coins and only come up with a unique name and the short code or trading name for each project should also be different and unique atleast for compliance and avoid confusion and also to avoid wrong investments.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 and its impact? on: June 23, 2020, 08:46:08 PM
As I have already posted somewhere that Ethereum 2.0 is going to launch its phase 0 this year and phase 1 during the next year. I have the expectation that launch of the ethereum POS system will bring many positive changes and its price will hike much more than expected.

So what do you have in your mind, how much price will hike?
When do you think it will be a good time to invest - I think, now is a good time, Price will hike as before its launch.

[Purpose of this thread will purely for ether price analysis. Hopefully, because of this thread, someone makes a profit by investing in ether.]
I do not think suggesting people to invest in something is a good idea even when eth looks bullish, most of the community is quite positive about eth and i personally think that if eth network comes up with instant transactions and low fee alongwith pos model the price is going to blast and 2k will look small because 1.4k is last all time high so expect next peak to be much higher maybe 3.5 to 5k. Everyone has his own thinking and i am sure everyone does what they think is best for them.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: {ANN} Finxflo Global Cryptocurrency Brokerage And Trading Platform{ANN} on: June 22, 2020, 09:00:48 PM
Looks to be quite a solution to the traders and investors that run from exchange to exchange to find their pairs or liquidity so finxflo will definitely solve that but depends on the final product so lets wait for that.
Meanwhile, can you please tell why the name resembles to already existing platforms like bitfinex etc i mean you could have easily used a unique name, anyways, all the best for the project.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE ORDER OF ALT PUMPS?? on: June 22, 2020, 06:34:18 PM
It has been some time, but correct me if I'm wrong doesn't it usually go like this BTC pumps then, LARGE CAPS, then MIDCAPS, then SMALL CAPS after that the MICRO CAPS then things like PRIVACY COINS will all pump. I am sure I am missing some here, but in 2017 that's how it played out in that order for the most part. The point is Hold your bitcoin till it's topped out then convert to large caps,ETH,BCH,LTC then midcaps, then small caps, micro caps this way you can make more bitcoin by compounding instead of just holding one or a few specific alts. So an example would be you buy a large cap like ETH it does a 2x you sell half and reinvest it into a mid cap, and let the other half ride for a potential 3,4,5,6x or whatever your target is. Then you do the same with the mid cap, small cap, micro cap this way you are compounding! I hope this post makes sense to most of you! if its confusing I am sorry I tried to explain it
I know what you are talking about and i also tell my friends to do this but to be honest when time comes no one knows and no one is able to follow it. There are different kind of people in the market so they will do what they think is the best and believe most people will keep hodling even after the next peak and let the price came down again and then they will be seen blaiming the market, it is funny but true. So people actually need to learn to take profit after big market move.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL ALTS EVER DECOUPLE FOM BITCOIN? on: June 18, 2020, 07:00:52 PM
What is bad in that obviously bitcoin is the most dominant coin with largest market share both in terms of volume and popularity so when btc moves whole crypto market is effected both positively and negatively but if btc starts bull run from here and you see alt price dumping in terms of btc still do not worry because alt price will either be stable in usd terms or growing.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fundraising ICO wannabe on: June 18, 2020, 06:24:23 PM
Becareful, new ICO fundraising wannabe will rise from the deep now, I've seen DYCO and BRO so far but can we really trust these new fundraising projects? Don't take risks to find out, in time the truth will be revealed, don't rush in, I lost enough to IMO last year, I don't plan on taking such risk this year again....
The rule is simple whether it is ico/ieo/sto/dyco/bro or anyother method to raise funds, just do your proper analysis and if it does not satisfy you completely then skip it, so basically it depends on the project itself method of fundraising also matters but if the project is good it can be worth to take the risk.
