281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Oracles: Connecting the Worlds on: August 18, 2020, 07:15:08 PM
Oracles are recognized as breakthrough tech to connect data, smart contracts, defis and everything blockchain and automation has to offer so definitely it will also help blockchain tech and cryptos to go mainstream.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO 3 on: August 18, 2020, 06:00:31 PM
Neo, as far as i remember was not the early mover in the last bull run as well so i think the pattern will repeat according to that btc and eth will make their big moves first and then the other alts will follow and i am sure Neo will make it big this time around as well.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 04:52:47 PM
Hey.

I researched very much in the net. I read numerous comments in the blogs. I saw to much messages in the telegram groups. and discord forums

and I found that most of the people really don't know why they chose their coin/token. just they know their coin is good and the future is belongs to them.

The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)
For me if the project is innovative with multiple use cases, an attractive product with capability to attract users and generate revenue with competent team then the chances of success are high and such projects usually do well in the market.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 DeFi projects on: August 18, 2020, 03:26:01 PM
I am surprised to see YAM in the list of top 10 DeFi projects. You can get more information at https://dappradar.com/rankings/category/defi with different protocols. The link is for all protocols.

https://twitter.com/DappRadar/status/1295646620697030656
Among the list i am a fan of uniswap, i have heard and read about others too but honestly i have not used their services so i cannot comment on their authenticity but obviously all these projects are in high demand and that is why we see price pumping everyday but one day prices are going to settle around the real worth of each project.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best performing "old" coins on the market? on: August 17, 2020, 07:46:50 PM
It's been a long time since I don't invest in old coins that have been tried-and-tested over the years. I remember when Primecoin and Namecoin used to be a hit within crypto's early days. But XPM's development has stalled (AFAIK) leaving it with very low trading volume/activity. The same thing has happened with NMC and some other old coins on the market. There are still good-old ones that are actively being traded on the market like Dogecoin and Litecoin. Yet, I'm looking for the best performing old coins on the market right now that will serve as an ideal long-term investment.

Do you happen to know of the best performing old coins on the market? Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
From 17-18 projects my favorite project is Utrust with UTK token, it is lead by a very active team, the project has actual use cases especially targetting crypto payments and helping in afoption of crypto at business, retail and outlet level. They have already secured massive partnerships and deals and 2020-21 will belong to Utrust for sure. I expect it too be a high value hold and it can yield 50 to 100x gains if one can wait patiently.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 17, 2020, 05:05:43 PM
If you visit some crypto forum you will see so many upcoming cryptocurrency projects coming into the industry but sometimes I begin to wonder what is their purpose of bringing in New crypto project knowing well that some of them have wrong motion of the project they are bringing, I have participated in so many of them last year but I have not hear from them again some are abandoned on the proccess with a lot of promises they come with just to gain your interest. What do you think?
New projects are risky my friend, so if we see like 10 new projects only 2 to 3 among them will be able to survive and thrive because there are many factors involved other than funding that result in success or failure of a project.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi tokens - do they have a real value? on: August 17, 2020, 03:43:24 PM
Hi guys,

I would like to share with you my idea about all DeFi tokens. I am little bit confused what is the real value of all DeFi tokens. If I think about it, their are now valuable because there is a hype around all DeFi protocols, a lot of buyers, less sellers. But, one day people stop taking loans and the tokens become less interesting, that would mean that price of tokens will start falling down and people will be pushed to repay loans and that will cause that they start selling their tokens and this will lead into further crash. The worst thing is that there is no other motivation for buyers to buy these tokens and that could cause that you can loose all of your invested money, right?

That's why I rather see DeFi protocols that use native coins like Ethereum or Tron (Tron already has working solution) because these coins are not just good for one thing(DeFi), people will buy them for various reasons.

I hope you understand what I am talking about.  Cheesy
You are right and most people are taking DeFi as a bubble too but i do support the concept because i think it will have more and more applications, use cases and products in the furure.
People should be careful about not throwing everything into defi, still diversification seems to be the right strategy.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 17, 2020, 02:00:49 PM
I was thinking about it so i thought to post about it here and discuss about this matter. Actually I have seen many good projects that either paused or cancelled there projects due to long bears market and decline of ICOs, I am talking about 2018 and onwards.
There were some good projects that got discouraged and closed the projects due to low or no funding in the bear market. My personal suggestion would be that the teams should consider reviving their projects now, modify them according to new market needs and then come up with a MVP and then start IEO or ITO as the market conditions seems to be improved now.
So what do you guys think about it?
Which projects or coins come to your mind that could have done well if they were able to raise decent funds?
Also if someone from the team of such projects reads this, he/she can share his thoughts and opinion too.
I do not remember any high quality project that was cancelled due to lack of funding but i do want Telegram Open Network TON to revive and continue development as it was the most anticipated and quality project for blockchain enthusiasts. It was stopped due to the interference of SEC.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap's New Feature "Earn" on: August 14, 2020, 01:36:59 PM
I had noticed this feature today on cmc as well and when i was reading the faq section i came to know we can earn upto $10 in the coin only which is kind of very low considering the huge platform cmc is and to compete with coinbase earn they should have more valuable offers in my opinion.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project Vitalik! on: August 14, 2020, 12:48:33 PM
1 ETH = $ 424
What plans will you do after seeing this pump?
Add more? or Quick Selling?

i have no hesitation to add more ETH despite buying at a high price.
Good project Vitalik
It is still cheap considering the huge upside potential because Eth is coming up with the biggest ever upgrades this year and a lot of Eth is getting locked in DeFi projects, I think this time around Ethereum will be in most demand and its dominance will also grow to new highs in the market.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin (ETH co-founder) is not into yield farming on: August 14, 2020, 12:00:45 PM
Hello crypto enthusiasts, do not get so carried away with the DEFI craze, so much so that you put in more than required into it, be wise. Trends come and go, ride DEFI wisely. Vitalik tweeted https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1294186505745731584?s=19 that he hasn't done any yield farming so far, so why so excited about yield farming? The concept is not bad but still has a long way to go since there are many cons.
Whatever anyone says DeFi is the real new trend and we are continuously seeing from weeks rather months that DeFi projects are doing great and as far as liquidity, lending or yield farming is concerned it is helping ethereum more than anything else because more and more eth are being locked up causing scarcity in market and the demand will take price up that is why i am so bullish about eth and i hope this will be the biggest ever bull season eth has ever seen.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Decentralized Finance Came to Be on: August 13, 2020, 03:34:13 PM
Decentralized finance services if kept growing like they are doing now they will definitely become a threat to traditional banking and financial system. I fully support DeFi projects and i would like to see more and more products in this sector just like we get real life banking and investment services.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin prices are POPPING!! C'mon whales and market-makers, jack the prices!!! on: August 13, 2020, 01:59:43 PM
Whales are not here to listen to common people rather they will do what they think is best for them but whatever they do i am confident that a big bullish market is nicely setup and last few months of this year could be parabolic especially for top coins.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 13, 2020, 12:06:30 PM
Be suspicious of any projects that just decide to implement DeFi all of a sudden when DeFi wasn't implemented in the project's features from the beginning, this is nothing but a way to take advantage of DeFi Hypes going on nowadays, if you are a deep crypto fan like myself you should be seeing few old projects that aren't DeFi from birth and start talking about implementing DeFi feature, I'm 100% against this act as it's unclean and dangerous
Actually DeFi is a very broad term, anything related to crypto exchange, buy , sell, transfer, lend, hold, borrow, payments, investing and profits and any kind of revenue all can fall under defi so projects that were not using this term before are now using it to catch the hype wave and benefit from it.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 13, 2020, 09:27:07 AM
i know its sound crazy but its really happend to ETH when i try to send my 0.01 eth to gambling website, im getting shock when see the ethereum gas price is about hitting 300 , currently if you want to get confirmed faster with ETH chain, you need to use 275 GWEI for your transactions is getting confirmated in 2 minute, tell me what are you gonna do with your ETH if you hold some, are you gonna sell and move to other altcoin like in 2017 when smartcontract are very popular with the kitty on ethereum chain?.

dont you think we are on same situations as 2017-2018 when the gas for eth is high people start move to litecoin & dogecoin which have small fee and the both coin getting very pump.
Transaction fee increase as the transactions increase and the network gets bloated or congested, this has been a long standing issue with ethereum network but i think selling now will not be wise just be patient as they are working on solutions and once they are implemented i am sure eth will fly high.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP MADNESS on: August 13, 2020, 08:46:52 AM
As someone who was here for the ICO craze of 2017 with tons of people exit scamming on investors I thought I would give some advice to those chasing crazy gains on uniswap. Over the past month or so we have seen crazy gains on uniswap with 100x returns on some projects so it is easy to be sucked into it, but you need to realize most of these listings have not gone through the ICO regulations which means they can just rug pull at any time leaving you with a worthless token. A few days ago NEXE, and NUGS to name a few just vanished after dumping on holders. You will notice most of these token creators like to remain anonymous which is a big red flag. You need to realize anyone can make an erc20 token and list it on uniswap then create a web page with copy and pasted info from other legit projects and throw the word defi in there. With the SEC involvement with ICO's launching that is actually a better thing for investors to hold the token creators accountable making it less likely to have them vanish with your money. In 2017 lots of ICO's did not go through the SEC regulations, but now they all have to or risk jailtime. Some will listen some will play the game and get burned, and some will make crazy returns. I personally think you are better off just holding ETH or buying into a project that went through a traditional ICO. Good luck out there and stay safe!
Yeah, you are really on point, I was wondering the same as some tokens are being sold directly at uniswap, although uniswap is growing rapidly and it has become the new trendy platform but i guess we need to be careful especially while choosing our choice of tokens there, I hope people will stay safe and not get trapped with some useless tokens.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap discussion on: August 12, 2020, 09:28:39 PM
Uniswap has really been a huge success and obviously it has changed the way we trade and it has shown what is coming up to all other traditional centralized exchanges because volume is rapidly going to uniswap and if this trend continue uniswap can become biggest trading venue by volume leaving behind all big exchanges which would be epic victory for uniswap.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: August 12, 2020, 06:41:57 PM
UsdC is very authentic as it is backed by coinbase and company which is regulated and fully compliant with financial rules, regulations and policies of major countries where it operates so naturally it is the top choice for me.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A project to help make Ethereum the number one cryptocurrency. on: August 12, 2020, 04:40:54 PM
Seems like a Russian project and personally i do not great experiences in the past with many Russian based projects but i do not believe much that it depends on location. Anyways if it supports the ethereum network i will support it and i do see a lot defi data and upgradation or liquidity based new projects which is also very encouraging and depicts the big future ahead for eth, defi and crypto overall.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment advice needed from experts on: August 12, 2020, 04:06:15 PM
Don't give me false hope, I need answers, is it a wise move to hold on to a coin that have continuous development but bad value? Or should I dump for other coin? I'm already in a big loss from 3000$ to 400$ presently, the continuous development is why I still hold on. This good or bad ? The project name is (Switch) aka ESH
If you have already spotted more better coin and entry then you may flip from that but doing so may be risky as you may face even more downside in second coin so you have to set your own strategy by calculating risk to reward ratio.
