101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: December 10, 2020, 09:24:23 PM
Do not invest on DeFi projects that are just DeFi, make sure the DeFi project you pick has better utilities,  ChainLink for example has Oracle to offer, few new DeFi projects I see lately are just using DeFi
name, be careful, Here are few lists of DeFi projects that are more than just the Hypes surrounding them because they actually have some to offer.

DIA

DIA (Decentralized Information Asset) is a Swiss not-for-profit and open-source blockchain project with a mission to drive the adoption of transparent, open-access data and oracles just like chainlink

https://diadata.org/

ORION PROTOCOL

Do you guys remember DYCO? That's a new crowdfunding strategy from Maker team and Orion Protocol is the first to try DYCO out and it was successful, Orion is building B2B and B2C solutions on the most advanced liquidity aggregator

https://www.orionprotocol.io/

COMPOUND

Compound is a money market protocol that lets users earn interest or borrow assets against collateral, all from the Ethereum blockchain. Compound was one of the first DeFi companies of this recent DeFi cycle to gain mass attention as their native token, COMP, skyrocketed in value before correcting to current levels.

https://compound.finance/governance/comp

CURVE FINANCE

Launched in early 2020, Curve allows users to trade between stablecoins with low slippage, low fee algorithm designed specifically for stablecoins. Curve is one of the early proponents of yield farming and currently offers 7 pools where users can stake stablecoins to earn rewards, such as new currencies.

https://www.curve.fi/

These are good examples of real use cases and these projects aren't here to take advantage of DeFi hype but to actually deliver real utilities, there are more good DEFi projects out there  e.g Synthetix and Oikos Cash , do good research and avoid investing blindly for quick gains, thank you

When the defi trend was at its peak in august-september this year I have seen many new projects adding defi in their names just to get the attention and raise big funds, im talking about projects that do not fall under defi but somehow after they saw the big trend went a bit too far to fall in defi just to take advantage. So as an investor we should be vigilant and avoid low quality projects.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lame use cases on: December 10, 2020, 07:42:19 PM
Is there a chance for food blockchain projects in crypto space? To me it feels ridiculous, why would a developer decide to build a food blockchain project when they can just implement popular coins as means of payment in their store, why creating tokens for this purpose? This is another example of junk use case in crypto space, I've seen many projects tried this years back and they all failed, simply because we don't need them I guess
I do not agree as we see similar criticism for different sectors based on blockchain, you have named food I have seen people criticizing energy based projects as well but we need to understand that this is all new sector and will take a lot of time in developing, partnerships, implementation and then adoption.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: December 09, 2020, 10:45:51 PM
Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects? I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? Let's share useful sources!

Here is my list which makes it easier for me to find:

1 - CryptoDiffer - The list is not very relevant, some projects have already undergone public sale of tokens.

https://twitter.com/CryptoDiffer

2 - ICO Analytics - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/ico_analytic

3 - Generation Crypto - News and analysis channel.

4 - Site Polka Project - Allows you to track new projects projects related to Polkadot system.

5 - Cryptodaku

6 - ICO Drops

7 - CryptoRank News

8 -  Top 7 ICO

I find about new projects randomly through different social media posts, as I do surf social media often and I get to see many new projects so if i find something interesting I do research further and look to buy the tokens.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is about wake up as sleeping Dragon on: December 09, 2020, 09:34:44 PM
Well I was looking for litecoin charts and looking generally well well litecoin definately will make some big moves.

I do think that Litecoin could be one of the best performers 2021 per my Analysis I think ltc will do much more better january then btc and eth.

Also...  I checked a lot big guys accumalation been taking a place.
There was like big accumalation of litecoin it means big bull run.

I do often see posts like these for many coins but as far as the top coins are concerned I think most of the coins have already started the bull run which would be finalized once they break the previous highs and then the market will really moon so next year would be ideal for crypto market in my opinion.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase to support Flare Network’s Spark Airdrop on: December 09, 2020, 08:53:16 PM
If you are an eligible customer holding an XRP balance on Coinbase or Coinbase Pro on the snapshot date and time of December 12, 2020, 00:00 AM UTC, you’ll receive Spark tokens from Coinbase at a later date after the Flare network launch. The amount of Spark you’ll receive depends on how much XRP you had in your account at the snapshot time. I think it's helpful for who join this even. Coinbase t trusted site I ever seen.
The hype of this airdrop is still on but I do not know why xrp is not mooning because of this, yes it pumped last week or so but then it has also gone down significantly which was not expected atleast till the airdrop was over.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This latest move by the US Lawmakers can kill Stablecoins but not Bitcoin ??? on: December 08, 2020, 11:10:06 PM
If they just want stablecoins to get a banking license and registration at Federal reserve then it is in no way a ban rather I think that all genuine stablecoins will follow it and should not have any problem, Infact this can help in even more adoption of stablecoins.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: December 08, 2020, 09:29:42 PM
Guys which coin do you think will be the next ethereum ?
Polka dot is trying to do what ethereum already does but with more advanced features and more efficiency but i do not think that eth can simply fail, others will struggle to find the users and clients while ethereum is already the biggest and most popular choice of the community.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could There Be One World Digital Currency? on: December 08, 2020, 08:25:02 PM
Cryptocurrency is becoming a trend despite the shock of the COVID-19 pandemic. This actually raises a conspiracy regarding the possibility of changes in the financial world to use digital currency as one of the goals of the New World Order or the global elite.

COVID-19 itself has had an impact on worsening economies in many countries. But is there an adaptation of one world currency? Can Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies be a substitute for money in the future?
I would like to see bitcoin as the one digital currency for the world but then there are limitations because each country has their own regulations and rules about the digital currencies and also they want to completely own and control the national digital currency so that is why we are seeing this new trend of official digital cureency for each country.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: good news for bitcoin at the moment on: December 05, 2020, 04:33:56 PM
Well known international restaurant franchise Pizza Hut has started accepting payment via cryptocurrency in Venezuela, South America.  As of now they are accepting Bitcoin, Dash and XPT (CryptoBuyer's * coin).  Soon they will accept more alts.  Which is a great news for all cryptocurrency lovers.  For this reason my personal target for bitcoin on 2021 will be $ 25k at least.  What about yours?

 * CryptoBuyer is a Panama-based company that provides cryptocurrency ATM services.
Your bitcoin price target for 2021 is way to small in my opinion. Just wait and see if the market gets some good volume in and momentum we will see btc hitting 25k in no time and that can easily happen before this year ends.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 05, 2020, 03:52:07 PM
Bounty managers please kindly start hiding emails in your spreadsheet because I always like using new email for bounty participation and I surprised that there are many offer mails in my email account, some are free airdrop some are affiliate marketing offers, I still remember that some people are selling email addresses online, it will be easier for such people to go through bounty spreadsheet and pack the whole email address
I have experienced this exact thing and im regularly getting spam emails from various airdroppers, phishers, scammers and sellers.
There are many campaigns even now where email ids are exposed in the spreadsheet so maybe we need to ping the managers in telegram or other accounts so that he takes action and hides it immediately.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase or Circle or someone from them are Satoshi on: December 05, 2020, 03:19:10 PM
Well coinbase and circle someone from their social circle got be Satoshi or know the Satoshi.
So why its important its becouse they was one of the first legit crypto service providers.

They developed the USDC well USDC ARE stable coin.
The very logical conlcusion here are the USDC might be the new world currency.

And Bitcoin due to great volatility could be the perfect vehicle the ramp the bridge for fiat currency to going in to stable coins.

The real Satoshi might be the holder of USDC
Also due to AML/KYC and other money l ndry.  Rules and regulations and also the Exchange rates it might be even not quite smart idea to try to Exchange your USDC to fiat currency.
The Solution might be the option directly pay with USDC.

Those moves of the real Satoshi start to be visible for all of us right now!
And  we start to see that Satoshi plan was not the create private currency and freedom but it was to step by step to develope the new money system.

Everything are how it is but I see big role of this FROM USDC
AND I have notice: the USDC has one of the greatest purache powers of the stable coins, other words the USDC Look like the USA dollar on the steroids.
I really like to see some comments from circle coinbase to see here!
The Bitcoin role on this might be as digital gold for the short time like it was real gold backing up the USA dollars long time ago.

And I dont see any big quantive easing ie bond buying program coming soon!
( biden regime are not the cheap dollar kind of regime)
High taxes and less bond buying means stronger value of the USA dollar now days even with zero economic degree without proper education knows that how the federal reserve and simple economic structures working.
To connect simple dots and use just little logical thinking it doesnt take you to be genius!
I think the answeres for anything can be tought as long as we have a lot Information availble.

My conclusion: hodle the USDC.
Satoshi= USDC creator or creators

You have come up with a story but it just sounds like a fantasy because you have not posted any evidences, so you need to do further investigations and you should somehow prove that the biggest wallet holding btc and usdc belong to the same person.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 04, 2020, 08:48:39 PM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
Even now bitcoin is single handedly dominating the crypto market with over 60 percent of market share which keeps moving up and down and historically we have seen it mostly in ranges of 35% to 90% but never ever we have felt that btc will be replaced by any alt because even with low market share it still remains the biggest coin in terms of market cap.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: December 03, 2020, 08:35:52 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing

Updated January 9, 2020
Thank you for your suggestions. I have selected a few altcoins for investment, BCH, BSV, ONION, DASH, XMR. There are also many altcoins with small market capitalization. I hope I can get lucky and bless you all to find the investment you like.

In my view only 2 types of alts will survive and thrive.
Ones with real advanced blockchain solutions that form the basics of what crypto and blockchain tech provides like eth, ada, trx etc.
Second ones are those that provide solutions to everyday problems and have support of large community of users like swissborg, nexo and dego etc.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: December 03, 2020, 07:25:10 PM
The advent of Bitcoin's blockchain technology has opened up a world of possibilities that were never imagined. People can finally achieve financial freedom by being their own bank anytime, anywhere. In 2017, there was the ICO boom where crypto land was filled with hype with many companies launching their own business ventures. Everything has been about smart contracts, on-chain privacy, and Blockchain-based gaming. But ever since prices started to decline back in 2018, there has been a lost of interest into crypto and Blockchain tech from people in the mainstream world.

It's now 2020, where many exciting events are yet to come. Bitcoin will experience another reduction in its block reward (halving), while Ethereum becomes closer to adopting PoS into its blockchain network. The space is definitely maturing, but the level of demand is still a lot less than it was back in 2017.

Nonetheless, I'm curious to know what's the next big thing in crypto? Huh
I think next big trend in crypto will come in 2022 or 2023 when bulls market would have settled and we would be into next downtrend.
I think next big trend will also be in defi category but this time defi would be advanced with real world use cases, extraordinary products and services that will really challenge traditional financial system as people will rush to adopt defi products.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 06:56:43 PM
It's becoming a frustrating issue when new project you have interest in have no mobile wallet, for over a year and half now I've waited for a project to built their mobile wallet but nothing so far, what are developers thinking? We are in an era where by mobility is the best choice for most people, who still sits in from on a computer just to send coins ? You also have to keep syncing the coin blockchain too to stay updated.

Don't blame people for not investing when you aren't making things easier for them, mobile users are much more than PC users, dear developers start considering mobile wallet pls
I think most of the projects do have mobile wallets now, maybe you participated in the initial sale of a completely new blockchain project which is not compatible with existing wallets, in that case you cannot do anything but wait for developers to come up with their mobile wallet.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ahead of the launch, Libra changed its name on: December 02, 2020, 07:03:51 PM
On December 1, the Libra Association announced a change in its name. The campaign now has the name " Diem». https://twitter.com/DiemAssociation/status/1333790806314926089 Also when going to the address https://libra.org, redirects to a new address https://www.diem.com The campaign logo remains the same.
https://www.diem.com/en-us/updates/diem-association/

I understand this was done so that the negative that preceded the launch of Libra was not transferred to the project that is being launched in January. How do you explain the reason for this rebranding?

I think they are rebranding and changing the way libra was planned because of pressure from regulators and looks like Diem will just be another stablecoin backed by fiat usd so obviously the hype will reduce now.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra is planning to launch in January on: December 02, 2020, 05:57:37 PM
As Facebook's currency Libra is planned to launch in January do you think there will be any impact on cryptocurrencies or it will be just one more stablecoin without significant adoption?
Source https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/85882/facebook-libra-first-stablecoin-january
They are not launching as it is was initially intended rather they are now rebranding and restructuring it and most probably it will be completely separate project from fb and will be like a new, independent and regulated stablecoin.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: December 02, 2020, 04:55:53 PM
Description: I'm not altcoinstalks forum admin/moderator/manager or somehow related to it's development - I am an active user and want to share here info, which may be useful for others. This feature may be useful for managers/promoters/project and for regular users as well, you will be able to join bounties/etc.

Quote
Teleported Rank

The crypto community is growing fast, and with new waves of users, the experience gets diluted. We end up with groups of people talking nonsense about price speculation, with no real knowledge at all.
We want experienced people to have a say on our forum. That's why we are launching the Teleported rank.
This rank allow top users to teleport from other forums to ours, while keeping their rank.
That means they can have valuable discussions, share their knowledge and improve the quality of discussion, but also they can join bounties and airdrops on our forum as well.

There are few simple conditions:
- Need to open an account with the same username as the forum you are teleporting from.
- If you already have an account here, tell me to label the teleported one as duplicate.
- In the signature in the other forum, put a link to the teleported profile you opened on our forum, link should be: My Altt
- message me with details:
link to your profile + info if it is your first account here or it's a duplicate

Open teleportation gates:
- bitcointalk : ranks with full member and above
- Other forums: ranks with senior members and above  :> Might be closed soon

Original thread on Altcoinstalks: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=178480
Altcoinstalks forum admin: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1

If this is somehow against bitcointalk rules - I will delete/close/archive this thread. Thank you.
This feature does not make much sense to me, I mean if someone wants to be a member at altcoinstalks then he should register there and naturally rank up, this would also help the member to understand the posting rules of the particular forum, this would give another unfair advantage to old bitcointalk accounts that have never earned merits but have hero and legendary ranks just because of old, merit less system.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: have you Invested DEFI liquidity pools ?? on: November 28, 2020, 10:32:59 AM
As my hobby , nowadays im studying about new defi projects. So i found several NEW defi projects and all of them are used defi liquidity pools to
provide various financial services in real world . I think thats fine , And then i studied about their team members and future plans and their whitepaper and their telegram group activity etc...

1) And One of the prject have mensioned that we can get an instant loan by tokanizing and collateralizing our assets ... Is that TRUE?

2)And my 2nd question --> How much in percentage do you trust about the projects having good telegram group activity and the team ?

3)And have you get an Instant loan before by tokenizing your asset ?

4)and my last question --> Have you invested before defi projects like this ----> https://thetoken.network/   [This is only a one project , other projects are also same like this as i mensioned before]
I am not a fan of individual liquidity pools rather i want some more services that could manage our liquidity for max profits and they can charge some fee or comission for their work and i am sure in future there will be many quality solutions in the market available for this purpose.
