It is indeed a template. It has just been personalized to Boostcoin now. And just FYI, in cryptoland about 95 % of things are copied/pasted from other open-source places anyway and then just tweaked to fit the purpose, which is what I could have done. Instead I've spoken to the owner and he was happy that we are using it - I've sent him BTC and I plan on sending him Boost too.
I agree that there is no need to invent the wheel twice, but sometimes its good to make something unique instead of copying. As i said, if you are going with a copy then choose the good source to copy. You have made a good choice.  |

I think you need to appreciate the fact that it's a solo-dev who is working hard to bring back the momentum we had a few days ago and the best way to do this is to get added to Mintpal as everyone knows. A few days ago when the price was 32K satoshi's no one was complaining and everyone was praising the dev. Now that it's at 6K satoshi's, everyone is speculating negatively which breeds more negativity (crowd psycology).
Multi-pools will dump, you know this or at least you should - they can constantly keep the price down and keep the community panic selling so they can scoop up your cheap Boost. This is a recurring theme that happens over and over again with altcoins (take a look at XC as a prime example). Why are people ready to support a barrage of X11 and Scrypt coins with all sorts of premines and other scams (Lowering coin count) yet scoff at Boostcoin?
The ideology behind open source is that everyone who wants to, can participate!
That means, if you don't like something or want to improve it - DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! The guy saying that he can whip up a MAC wallet in 15 mins : DO IT next time!
The guy that made the blockexplorer just did it ! He didn't talk about it for 4 days on this thread before taking action.
The dev has stated he is trying to pull another dev on-board to help with anon and the work-load, and of course this won't happen overnight. But ask yourself this, what dev would want to come and help Boost when he reads all of these comments spreading FUD. If you haven't noticed, Boost is the only coin of its kind (X13 POW/POS) and has massive potential with the right community. Im sorry, i only do free work for cryptocoin developer if developer is honest and transparent in what they do. I have compiled tens of wallets and helped with fixing the code on several coins, but Boostcoin dev is not fitting in to my terms. I seriously dislike a lot of devs posts in this thread. Extremely unprofessional behaviour in my honest opinion. A lot of bagholders probably think that i should just shut the f up and let them get robbed or rob the naive who dont really understand what is going on. I apologize for my methods, but i just cant watch from the sidelines while some kids lose their money. |

He could admit the mistakes, and not having any idea about hes coin source code, but instead he spreads the lies to hype hes coin. I agree, that the disagreement with tokyoghetto is ugly looking too. i can try compile one its usually not so difficult, and many very good developers still don't know how to do it. even if they write perfect code.. you need homebrew or macports and install dependencies, and use macdeploy script to create package with all dependencies "Great" developer.
Still no Mac wallet...
The Developer claims he has 3 people working for him. So a team of 4 members. And they still struggle to get mac wallet out. Instead of fixing few mistakes in hes coin source code, the dev spams "vote for mintpal" tens of times per day. I already compiled a mac wallet long time ago. It took me 15 minutes. There is couple of easy mistakes made in source code which need to be fixed before it compiles on mac. If developer had any coding skills at all, he would have fixed this a long time ago. |

Well this is shitty. This coin had a lot of potential.
This coin had 0 potential with the current dev. He proved that on the first pages of this thread. Developer bought this coin from someone who makes coins for a fee. He has no idea about what is what in the source code. This coin source code is simple copy-paste from Mintcoin-like source tree. It has nothing unique other than couple of parameters which were changed. Dev makes claims about MMO but doesnt back them up anything more than just words. Unless Dev has a lot of cash or btc to spend, no serious coder is going to work with him. In that im sure. |

Well, i bought a lot from 4sat now. I have no more btc to spend for it. Price will largely depend on when the dev will come up with their "big surprise". I would guess that Paspi´s unique android wallet can move a price a bit as well. It is certainly good for longer term, but i dont think it will have much short term effect. I have 7 years of trading experience and its my day job, but i often fail on predicting crypto markets, because there are so many unknowns in the game of cryptocurrencies.  The current angle of buy-sell orders graph is irrelevant because lots of them are shadow orders which will be cancelled if price stops moving on one way or another. |

WDC price is slowly dropping because quite a lot of coins are still being created every day. I think that in few months when the supply is smaller, buy pressure will take over and price slowly starts rising again. |

Recent pump and dump coins are making me sick! Im sorry for those who Boostcoin or Darkcoin from top. People need to do their research more better! Im actually really excited about Digit launch! I can easily mine it without being scared about some whales getting all the big block rewards. They dont get much, if little miners like us dont back network up with our hashpower. Also i like the devs professionalism and honesty. This is really rare and valuable thing. |

Do we need to delete old wallet.dat and after that (an new wallet.dat will be created again after deleting old one) send new adress for reciveing a compensate DIGIT coins?
OK, let me repeat this, because it seems that some people still dont understand what a relaunch is. Relaunch = launch.You will need to delete ALL old Digit files. (appdata/Digit and installfolder/Digit-qt) before installing new wallet. |

Mintpal tonight!  I don't understand. Every coin, which has more than 200 BTC volume on Bittrex was automatically listed on Mintpal. No votes, and etc... I don't understand why Mintpal didn't listed this coin still now. Mintpal is rather cautious about how much funds dev is controlling. They are not keen to take a coin which dev has 3.91% of all coins ever mined. I know this because i asked about their general acceptance terms from their support. I think that Minpal will still accept Boostcoin, but im not sure. |

NOT FUD but: There is only 1 coin with the x13 innovation and that is MARU this coin copied the algo, but was smart to implement POS smart thinking but don't forget MARU... if you want to continue to mine X13 think and promote MARU. 'cause this was the first NO Lol. This coin has less innovation than my grandmothers wheelchair. Seriously. Noobs, you are so easy to fool.
