These conditions have happened in the past. The next difficulty increase looks negligible, and prices will probably recover when mt gox starts trading again and this is behind us. Or not. One way or another, an equilibrium will be reached. It won't just collapse.

All this fuss and refreshing and no one is offering a real price? Come on, this is going to be anticlimactic.

The site just changed looks on me. CSS glitch or an actual change? Looks better.

After a delay, my order did show up in my open orders.
Great, how long was that delay? It's 2 minutes here and still doesn't appear. It was about 5 minutes for me.

woot, it worked.
"Your order has been queued for execution"
EDIT: It isn't in my open orders... not sure if it worked correctly.
I still can't get any trades in.
I'm getting
"Trading is still closed for now, until things are fully tested"
When trying to place a trade.
Me too.

Show me a chart with the price going over $20 that looks remotely plausible and I'll tip you 1 BTC.
You can send the tip to the address below. It definitely looks "remotely plausible". I'll be waiting.

Source? Where did you get this information?
EDIT: I see it now, on the website:
"Trading will be back on Jun 26th 15:30 GMT"
And mt gox promptly gets crushed by the surge of users.
EDIT: It still says "Trading is still closed for now, until things are fully tested"

Yes, you guys are definitely both welcome to checkout the open source code which is available on github on that same link. Hope that helps you guys, and it was already there before I posted as well. So please checkout the source code thoroughly.
I'm not really concerned about whether this particular patch is legit or not, I just think that people should not be in the habit of installing patches based on forum recommendations. Especially when money is involved.

Why the hell can't they post that on the site?

Hey Mod... entropy is obviously not a troll/agitator. Look at his recent posts. How about removing the warning you placed on his thread? Looks legit
They are putting the warning on every thread that seems to have troll potential. They are not judging the threads themselves. It is just a reminder that trolls tend to come out at times like these.

I thought I had trouble getting it to respond to my password to even though I was sure I put it in right the first few times. Then it just started working randomly. Perhaps I had a typo, or perhaps their system isn't responding right. I did try my old password once before my new password started working. Perhaps is had something to do with it?

ts314, are you verifying or asking as well?
How much extra info and such did you give? Is there any reason they might me extra careful, like do you have a ton in there, or did you try to recover from a different IP address?

They were talking about 24h delay on IRC.
Can anyone verify this. And be careful with your tradehill spam, they will disable your referral code if enough people complain.
