I've only used NXT, Counterparty, Blackcoin and Dogecoin for actual transactions with other human beings.
I am guilty of being the speculator-type for the dozen other coins I hold.
We're still deciding which alts are actually going to stick around. Its a complicated process, we'll get back to you when the results are in.

I'm so tired of all the complains about altcoins. I'm really upset! So let's use that energy for something useful.
Coins become currency when they are used for real stuff, a.k.a: buy/sell products and/or services. Then, why don't you just tell us what would you like to buy.

Too much coin supply is the design of Devcoin, the reason is to make it a true currency, not an asset. Devcoin is designed to spend it, what we need is to let people use a.k.a: provide services and products. So let's do it and stop complaining! I don't see much future for devcoin.
The coin supply is just too much. If it can go to 10 satoshi, it would already be time to sell.
