361  Economy / Gambling / Re: Own a profitable gambling site. Looking for investors on: February 10, 2023, 06:35:57 AM
Hey everyone,

I own a gambling site that is currently doing around $15,000-$25,000/day in wagers and netting around $1-2k/day. I was new to the gambling space when I first started out and since then have learnt a tremendous amount. The first few months of running the site were very rough because we didn't have the right developers at the time. In addition to that I was very eager to get started on marketing and had spent a ton on marketing when the site simply wasn't ready.

Since then we've found new developers and worked on the site non stop to the point where it has gotten 10,000s of sign ups and where we're making profit every day. Because of the steep learning curve and all of the hurdles we went through the site has sadly ran out of budget other than the few thousand dollars it makes a day. It's nice money but it's not enough to scale fast to the level where I want to be at. If I were to reinvest all the money it makes daily would also take a while to grow.

I'm looking for an investor to join me in taking the site to the next level. I'm looking for approx. $100k-$200k. If anyone is interested they can comment their Telegram or other preferred way of communication.

I hope that this is the right section to post this,

Thanks!

Well, to begin with, you could give a link to your gambling site, so that a potential investor could evaluate its potential. If it works and attracts attention, then maybe you could also just increase the number of players, otherwise it's just not clear what it's about.
362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: February 10, 2023, 06:10:32 AM
Well, people will always try to try their luck with gambling, it is inherent in human nature, and this is the driving force for the spread of gambling, and it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the main thing is that you play.

There is also such a quote belonging to an American writer, the author of a book about gambling, perhaps most fully reveals the very essence and basis of gambling, well, or a squad of skeptics, but it sounds truthful in my opinion:

364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: February 08, 2023, 01:37:21 PM
Things are never that simple, even if you download the app from the correct source that does not mean that you cannot be hacked, coding is a very complex skill and if a code is released without any testing it could be easy for hackers to find an exploit on the code and hack your gambling account this way, now I have no recollection of this happening but I am sure that if gambling apps get more popular we will begin to see cases like that.
No hacker or coder can make any changes in the code of a software/application unless the software or application is open-source based. And I don't think a gambling website would ever develop an open-source application for their customers unless such script are developed for a particular client's one project. That would be like openly inviting hackers to exploit the code to get their desired results. So, I believe it would be a safer practice if not disclosing the codes and other major things except provable/verifiable parts of games.
To reverse engineer software or an app is one of the main abilities of a hacker or a cracker, how do you think you can find licensed software and video games which can be downloaded for free all over the Internet? This is because hackers despite not having the source code are smart enough to still find what they want and introduce the changes they need, hackers could easily hack an app and make the necessary changes to get information from you and then get your coins and other information.

In any case, it is necessary to download mobile applications only if it is indicated on the online casino website itself by the link they indicate, just use the search in the market, you can download a modified version and just lose money, this is the same as with exchange applications.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many times have you intended to stop gambling on: February 08, 2023, 01:05:47 PM
Gambling has become an everyday thing for some people and this act has lead to serious addiction which is not good. When gambling we should understand that we are just playing for fun. Most people i know around always take gambling as a very serious issue and i have this particular friend that always complains to me how he has stopped gambling but from no where you still see him gambling again. Me myself am a sesonal gambler and i only gamble on the sport i know which is soccer, i think exploration of new gambling games you are familiar with also causes this repeated feeling of always quitting gambling. I just want to know if this phrase is common among everyone or its just he catch phrase whenever you experiences a big loss.

Although I am not addicted to gambling, but from time to time I just want to try my luck and, as a rule, once I lose, I am once again convinced that this is not the best way for me to make money, after that I can not return to the game for a long time. And of course I'm not trying to recoup, it can only worsen the situation, for myself I have long concluded that luck in gambling does not help me.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage betting (Surebets) on: February 08, 2023, 12:58:07 PM
Hmm, with your explanation here i already know i wont be doing this type of betting anytime soon, but i have heard some of my guys who alway talk about this arbitrage betting and he even paid me once just to register an account with a betting due to the fact that they have restricted his account due to the lots of winning he had they made it sound so 98% reliable and easy to follow. They have really preached about arbitrage betting and was thinking of going into myself but i later learnt it requires a whole lot of funds to follow up this type of gambling and certainly i am not that type of gambler again as i only gamble for fun now and don't want to involve myself in such gambling process that requires lots of stress according to the explanation i got and for sure, i don't want be gambling more on what i dont have.
Arbitrage betting do need a lot of fund. You are talking about a small percent of margin like may be 0.5 or 1%. With $100 risking it's not worth. Even with a $1000 you are thinking of winning $5 to $10. But if anything goes wrong then you are going to lose big chunk of your money.

Bookies don't like it too. When you win rate is higher they will limit you or ban you. They are not here to make you rich but to suck your money out of you pocket.
The fact that it would require a player to have multiple bets on different outcomes and different bookies would require already a bigger amount than with the typical betting habit of just choosing one bookie and predicting an outcome. It is a bit complex especially for the new ones but I agree that it still has its own risk. It is simply relying with different result announced by different bookies. I am one of the players who'd not engage with such betting. Also, it would kill the entertainment in this industry. I still prefer the udual betting. If it is losing players are trying to avoid which pushes them in surebets, then I'll just endure it. Losing is a part of the game in the first place.

Yes, of course it requires more costs, but at the same time it guarantees, although not a big, but a permanent win and players are doing this until they get blocked, but many are willing to risk accounts for the sake of benefits, although not so obvious.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for a Casino which has a similar VIP Program of Stake on: February 08, 2023, 12:53:06 PM
I'm Platinum II on Stake and I receive these following standard bonuses even I didn't wager for a month.

 • $10 Weekly Bonus
 • $30-40 Monthly Bonus
 • $25 Post Monthly Bonus

Here's the thing, when I reached a certain rank like Platinum in that casino, I need these following bonuses even though I didn't wager for a month.

Indeed, this is probably the most reliable casino possible that has vip programs, I just walked around the sites offering reviews of vip online casino programs and saw that it basically looks like a paid promotion of dubious gambling platforms, than you are not satisfied with Stake, why change the good to something dubious.
368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Lottery players here? Pick 2, Cash 3, Cash 4, Pick 5 numbers in particular. on: February 08, 2023, 12:32:16 PM
I was in the NBA forum and the subject of lottery numbers came up and I didn't want to hijack that forum and didn't see anything lottery related. The discussion came up that numbers are random and there isn't anyway to improve your chances to win and I disagreed.  I believe you can study historical data, patterns and certain numbers follow and hit after certain numbers come out as winners.   I would love to discuss theory with anyone who understands this and have any theories of their own.

I think it would be rare if the same numbers are being drawn from the machine every day (if the lottery is daily). So what I think is better is to avoid those numbers. Some people though might include those numbers in their picks since these number is hot from the following days. But for me, every time it is drawn, it'll have a lower chance to be included in the winning numbers on the next day. Regardless, since it is random, that still does not make sense when it comes to statistics.
If I remember it right , there is a thread here about some bunch of people tries to win against lottery and yes some of them succeeded after calculation and studies and of course with bit capital to use.
i understand the frustration to win lottery but for me ? it is better to stay that way of Luck based gambling , just bet with one ticket and limited amount trying to find your luck and not to carry your entire living from the chance of winning.

This requires the creation of a large community united by a common idea, who will not leave after several failures and who are willing to spend money to buy lottery tickets, for example, all this requires the cost of attracting, but quite often it can also turn out to be a scam on the part of the organizers of the pursuit of winnings.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ethgames.fun ! no deposit required on: February 07, 2023, 09:19:25 AM
Hi folks,

Just stumbled on an interesting on-chain gambling site, you can directly bet ETH using your MetaMask wallet, without depositing funds  Shocked

https://ethgames.fun/pokerdice.html
https://ethgames.fun/twodices.html

They offer x50 times your initial bet
Have fun.

No deposit seems to make no sense to me. How is it possible that you can place a bet while you don't have to make any deposit?
Also, please guide us. Are you the owner of this website? If not, how can we trust this site while it's new to the market?

Each roll is a transaction that has the bet. if you win, you get the reward within the same transaction. You don’t need to deposit in advance.

Now the games are also on binance smart chain where the fees are much lower.
Also it seems that they integrated walletvonnect where more than 140 web3 wallets are supported, so metamask isn’t a must

I see many wrong statements here that connecting wallets is dangerous. This isn’t true, this is how dapps work.

Of course, people can not always trust the connection of their MetaMask to various sites, that's why it's better not to use your main wallet for this, so as not to lose it if you connect to a phishing site that copies the true one, and if this does happen, then in no case enter a seed phrase, which is never required by legitimate sites.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: February 07, 2023, 08:23:20 AM
DCG has started selling shares of crypto trusts in Grayscale, stating that this is simply a rebalancing of its portfolio. FT says that DCG recently sold shares of the ethereum fund, we are talking about selling 25% of the fund's shares for $ 22 million at several auctions since January 24. The company sells for about $8 per share, the last time DCG sold shares of the ethereum fund was in 2021.

Indeed, why DCG does not allow investors to buy back their shares for coins held in trusts.the answer is simple too much income is generated by interest on asset management.

371  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: An honest answer on mining with solar on: February 07, 2023, 07:41:39 AM
Well, judging by what can be found according to the data on the market in Nigeria of components for creating kits based on solar panels, then for example a kit consisting of a 5kVA inverter +4 batteries with a capacity of 200Ah + 8 solar panels of 250W there costs 1,450,000 naira or $3,152, if you take into account the average salary in Nigeria of $170, then this is an impressive amount.

If of course you can trust this site on the review price for Nigeria https://nigerianprice.com/solar-panel-prices-in-nigeria/

372  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which mining is good to start? on: February 07, 2023, 07:03:17 AM
As a first timer who will engage in crypto mining, in my research and knowledge but I'm not sure if this method is effective for a starter like me.
Intend to buy the following,
* Frame - mining rig frame with screwdriver, 6/8 Gpu miner
                    mining rack rig.
<...>
* Power Supply - EVGA 460w bronze ATX power supply
<...>
What do you think about this I am planning with, is it good or can you suggest me other things?

You started the thread with a post about your intention to mine bitcoin, but did not announce how much you plan to spend, then you could assess the potential for acquiring Asic, as a result it turns out that you just want to try mining and as can be seen from the components, apparently this is mining on video cards, but then why did you choose such a low-power power supply.

But this is your choice if you decide to go this way, you can use the recommendations from NiceHash https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/how-to-start-mining-bitcoin-in-2022

I also receive emails from time to time about password reset on a particular resource, perhaps you really became a victim of an attacker trying to log into your account, for sure he did it using a vpn from different locations and if you consider how online casinos treat this, then it is likely they considered such activity suspicious, just wait a response from support to begin with.
374  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What Exactly Happens right after you power up your Miner on: February 06, 2023, 12:53:01 PM
Hi. I was always wondering , technically what happens after the startup of a Miner. I mean I know that's too basic but I always loved getting deep. I mean what does the cpu do ? what parameters does it check ? what is the architecture ? what does every part inside the cpu do when its running ? And how does handle the Algorithms of BitCoin.

After launching your miner, if it is configured to work in the pool, the following processes occur, if in simple words without logs:

1.BIOS initialization: the miner's Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) checks the hardware components and initializes the settings required for the operating system to load.

2.Operating system boot: the miner loads the operating system and starts the required drivers and services.

3.Mining software launch: the miner starts the mining software, which is designed to solve complex mathematical problems in order to validate and add transactions to the blockchain.

4.Communication with mining pool: the miner establishes a connection to the mining pool and receives the necessary parameters, such as the pool address, port number, and miner's unique identifier.

5.Cryptographic hash function: the miner uses a cryptographic hash function, such as SHA-256, to perform a series of mathematical operations on the data in a block and produce a unique output, known as a hash.

6.PoW calculation: the miner performs a proof-of-work calculation by repeatedly hashing the block data and comparing the hash to a target value. The target value is adjusted by the network to maintain the average time required to mine a block at a consistent rate.

7.Block validation: if the miner is the first to solve the proof-of-work calculation and produce a hash that meets the target value, the block is considered valid, and the miner can broadcast the block to the network and receive a block reward.

8.Continuous mining: the miner continues to mine by repeating the process, starting with the next block of transactions waiting to be validated and added to the blockchain.

These steps are performed continuously by the CPU, which is the central processing unit of the miner. The CPU performs the necessary calculations, manages the memory and storage, and communicates with other components to ensure that the miner is able to continuously mine for cryptocurrency.

375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: February 06, 2023, 12:18:51 PM
I still can't forget my best free spin win on Sportsbet and somehow got at least x1000 on Rise of Merlin. I haven't been playing slots recently but I'll give it a go once I become active in the future and earn a bunch of rewards from their clubhouse since they improved it recently. I also remember sticking to Play n Go slots when receiving my rewards because i'm having a hard time winning with other providers as I usually get low multipliers.

Insane how much you could possibly win from the clubhouse rewards. I've tried so many times before and wasn't expecting this big of a win from a $5 free spin. Manage to trigger the bonus rounds 6 times in a row and nearly got all the symbols.  Grin

Yes, of course, the Rise of Merlin slot tightens its game by running in demo mode, I hardly forced myself to quit the game, but after reading the reviews about the playngo casino itself on trustpilot, I lost the desire to register.

376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US casinos set new record of revenue on 2022 on: February 06, 2023, 10:09:37 AM
Gambling is getting more popular, just at the US casinos produced almost 55 billion dollars in revenue during 2022, an amount which surpassed the previous record that was established last year, and since any trend going on the US is most likely taking place all over the world it seems safe to assume the same is happening at many other countries.

Have you noticed this as well where you live? Are cryptocurrency casinos experimenting the same kind of boom as fiat casinos?

Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/willyakowicz/2023/01/13/us-set-gambling-record-in-2022-with-more-than-549-billion-in-revenue/

Well, it was quite expected to reach a new level in casino revenues, because in the previous year everyone suffered from a lockdown associated with the pandemic, however, the same is indicated in the article. And if 2021 was very successful for online gambling, then it is quite natural that after the pandemic, people began to actively visit real casinos more willingly, especially this is typical for the US, where according to surveys 85% of adults said they had gambled at least once.

FTX Group requires politicians who received donations from them in the period from 2020 to 2022 to return them by February 28, we are talking about the amount of $93 million.
I don't know if it's even legal to demand the return of donations and what sanctions can be imposed on those who refuse to do this, except for the disclosure of the name.

I checked one[1] of the review and the sound itself isn't bad compared with other home appliance. So while it's loader than their claim (could be because chosen mining speed or distance), IMO it's still within comfortable range.
Their claim is ambiguous, to say the least. They did say it was at full power, but the testing method is unknown, even "full power" can be misinterpreted too. I think most companies do this nowadays so that's that. Not a big deal unless you really want to find something so quiet.

Here, too, it is necessary to take into account how the testing was carried out, there is, for example, a video where the noise is measured Compare HeatBit and Bitmain Antminer S9 using an android application, I think that in any case the noise level there is much less than that of an Asic miner, starting from 5.24min

379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: an Electronic Cash System on: February 05, 2023, 11:37:24 AM
So, aside from the whitepaper, you can seldom encounter a definition which gives emphasis on "electronic." But Satoshi clearly designed it with "online payments" in mind. What was taken into primary consideration was E-commerce.[4]

Well, now it is also possible to make a Bitcoin request from ChatGPT and he replies that bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that allows peer-to-peer transactions without intermediaries such as banks. Here, since we are not talking about a device but about a currency, I do not see a difference between digital and electronic. Smiley
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Policy & Redesigned of Banknotes Make Citizens to Use BTC in Nigeria on: February 05, 2023, 11:15:45 AM
Still, I can't understand what the monetary policy of the Nigerian government in the field of non-cash payments actually has to do with the restriction on the issuance of cash to the fact that citizens will start using bitcoin en masse. Firstly, favorable conditions for the use of bitcoin should be created in the country for this, of course, now citizens will have less cash and this will allow for more frequent p2p exchanges, but at the same time, Nigerian citizens will not become richer enough to actively buy bitcoin.
