361  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Where do you stand on: March 17, 2024, 06:42:37 PM
We are aware bitcoin halving is close by, here is an estimated date:

This month bitcoin has hit a new ATH up to like three times with the last being $73,737.94 source: conigecko , before the recent dip, getting to a 24hrs low of $64,866.30 before climbing to $68,484.91

Some of us might bitcoin to continue to price to continue to raise and possibly hit another ATH before halving while some of us will be grateful for a dip in order to accumulate more.

Also while some investors have begin to take profit even from the first ATH hit this month while others have been taking some percentage bit by bit in order not to have a feeling of regret if the price increases higher.

Question
  • Where do you stand, do you want the dip or should the price continue to raise?
Though I stand with those who will want the dip in order to acquire more BTC, since I didn't HODL as much as I would had planned because of I had some expenses to take care of.
  • Also have you taken all your profit or you are taking bit by bit or still HODLing all?
Actually I took most earlier since I had expenses to cover though I have some left

362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 16, 2024, 10:50:39 PM
There are many mistakes that a gambler can make, the most common mistake that i have made is when i play football betting and so many of the games have gone in my favor and just a few games are left, but i have the chance to cashout and take some money out of the game, but i choose not to and lose everything. Sometimes not cashing out when you can is being greedy, it is better to take some money out if you can, than to come out with nothing.
This is my top mistakes honestly, when you have the chance to take the profit and yet you still choose to aim more which resulted to wiping out all your money. Being too emotional and greedy are the common mistakes for the gamblers and I think everyone here experienced the same mistakes especially during our early time with gambling.
Greed is the main mistake in cases of losses that often occur in gambling for beginner gamblers and even senior gamblers, they will not be satisfied with achieving a low win so they aim for a high win by doubling the bet whether intentionally or not, but the greed factor has pushed someone to make the worst mistakes, the average gambler has bad experiences but we must learn from experience and organize responsible gambling management so as not to make the same mistakes in the next bet, we must return to the basics of gambling just for fun and not an activity to earn wealth from gambling.
I don't really think this is a bad practice, I have seen gamblers who said they rather lose their money rather than cashout when they are having few games or a game left before their place bet ends.

To be frank I support this notion, reason is that if you cash out now and the remaining games ends in your Favour, you will be more pained for not trusting your prediction while if you lose it because you don't want a cut from the cash out, you will also be pained but not as much as when you cash out before your bets ends and get a little amount from the main because here you are actually removing  doubts from your prediction and though you lose you are actually going to try to know your flaws and predict more accurate game next time
363  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Local crypto exchanges go fit survive for Nigeria? on: March 16, 2024, 09:50:15 PM
I actually to be frank, I don't really think it's much, maybe since this won't be much for foreign investors but for a local exchange huge but still yet it doesn't bother me because till now we have not any local exchange that have offer good services to us and so never will I recommend it for anyone especially with the case of the biggest exchange Patricia though it headquarters move from Nigeria to Lithuania in 2021  but it was still an household exchange until it's said hack and maltreatment to customers.

As long as this money is going to be use for asset insurance, hopefully not squandered I don't see any problem.

This was not the only Changes made
  • application fee of 300,000 naira, up from the previous 100,000 naira.
  • The processing fee has also increased from 300,000 naira to 1 million naira.
  • The rules and guidelines being renamed from New Rules on Issuance, Offering Platforms and Custody of Digital Assets to Rules on Digital Assets Issuance, Offering Platforms, Exchange, and Custody

364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 15, 2024, 11:00:08 PM
Arsenal's chances of winning the league this season is dependent on their performance in the remaining matches they have and they are in a good form now which means they can face and beat any team they play against all they need right now is to maintain the team spirit in all the teams they will be facing, play as a team and make good use of their chances to score goals and take all three points then they won't have more issues when they face their major rivals since they will be feared by the teams because they are in good form.
If they take each game one at a time, they can. But it will be difficult for them to really win because if you look at all the remaining fixtures for the three teams, Arsenal looks like the team that may not be able to win all games. Now joined with the tough team that they have been matched against in the champions league, their interest will be divided, and their coach will try to play it safe so his players can remain fit to play the remaining games in the premier league and play Bayern Munich in the champions league. Liverpool next game against Manchester United, they do not need to write Manchester United off because they are not having the best season.

The Arsenal coach should be ready to accept his the responsibility of a good or bad manger if he fails to utilise the opportunity they have right now to win the EPL this season, Arsenal should be able to win games regardless of fixtures they have left, they are one of the favourite so far and the have less injury crisis in the team whi h is one of the advantages they have against other teams, if thry arw able to win other teams and get a draw against Manchester City then thry will be able win the league and their fixture in the champions league against Bayern Munich won't be a big problem because Bayern Munich has a lot of works to do since they will try to catch-up with Leverkusen in the league and also ready to face Arsenal. Liverpool should be ready to fight against Manchester United because playing against them will be so difficult since they are fighting to secure a slot in the Europa League next season.
Actually I never expected Arsenal to bounce back to be among title contenders especially because of their inconsistency but they have been playing well in their past few matches, how they play against man city will show if they are actually serious winning the league.
The game is a difficult one to predict, each teams has a chance of winning though man city has a slightly better to win than Arsenal.
Let's see if both teams will be taking a point or one getting all three points.

Defeating Bayern Munich won't really be an easy task for Arsenal especially since bayern has a better stat in the champions league than them
365  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How we fit benefit from FG clampdown on Binance? on: March 15, 2024, 10:34:08 PM
... Bitcoin Chief, Patricia, Roqqu and the rest for seize the opportunity, add more features to their platform, instead of just being p2p platforms, them fit become exchanges. With the problems Binance users for Nigeria dey face, e nor go hard for them to get the volume in a year or two.
To be frank I never expected anyone to recommend this two exchange especially Patricia but I guess not everyone is aware of the news surrounding them. Last year it was reported that they were hack and then customers funds were seized and even till now majority of the customers have not gotten their coins back while during this time they made  their customers swap their bitcoin for exchange tokens which they were still unable to withdraw though not all of their customers took the step of swapping their coins, check the reply of his posts on X(Twitter) since no official information about them till for long https://twitter.com/Fejizzy/status/1762244717956206707

Roqqu has not really been good customers have suffered one way or the other in their services, I have longed heard about individuals complaining about their services and I don't think they offer swapping usdt to NGN base on this news Roqqu disabled all trading/swapping of USDT with the Naira with immediate effect

To be frank, Nigerians have moved to other exchanges offering p2p like Bybit, Okx, Kucoin, Bitget and others while if you are looking for non-kyc exchange, this site is helpful kycnot.me or if you want a trusted local exchange service then use {Active} BrainbossXchange Service {BTC/NGN Altcoins/Stablecoins/NGN} only.

You should note that, Nigerians can still use Binance except from p2p or anything relating to our fiat NGN which has removed from the exchange
366  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: When Self-investment beats every form of investment on: March 15, 2024, 09:52:51 PM
In life, there is nothing better than having knowledge. Invest in knowledge and you will see yourself going forward. Example are some people complaining that they are leaving Nigeria, that abroad is better with more opportunities, but they do not think that as bad as Nigeria is, there are many successful people. I do not against someone to travel because with proper plan, but knowledge is important in anything we do in life because it can help us to become exposed and also know the right thing to do no matter where we are. It is good not to think like the common people.
Every traveling abroad does not mean one will be make it and while some in the end will just be a laborer or a taxi driver even if they had certificate though they can still be taking care of their families in Nigeria.
Others who understands the essence of self development go there and actually dominate them.
I someone recently spoke about this, He said He can't go abroad to be a laborer when he has a certificate and can get a better life if he do well there

367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 15, 2024, 04:13:06 PM
If I have won small amount of money as I am gambling with small amount of money and going for low odds, I will stop gambling for the day.

If I am losing, I know I should stop for me not to lose more.

Sometimes I gamble at once with big amount but not huge. If I lose, I stop. If I win I stop. I do this if I do not gamble much that week and if I just have little time to gamble.
Actually 2 weeks ago I made a loss gambling all because I just wanted to continue getting wins, I started at first making small wins but I just continued till I was having little to nothing remaining with what I actually started to gamble that day and then I realized I need to take a break.

Before when I make a loss I don't see any reason to continue but that day was different because the last time I gamble before that day, that same strategy works and so I thought it would work again but I guess wrong.

Anyway with the break I Came up with a strategy similar to this, I just play few games and if I win Thank God and if I lose Thank God. After all I don't really think of trying to get my money back when I lost in gambling but always try to learn from my mistakes to become a better gambler.
368  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Fake websites of Pinksale exist online, so be careful. on: March 15, 2024, 01:11:29 PM
Recently I saw in a telegram group that scammers have created a fake website of pinksale, and are running a fake presale of a project.

Telegram channel is one of the platform we must be careful not to enter carelessly without making verification its the intended official channel, scammers are running all there through links to join their telegram channels for updates and presale information's on a particular crypto project, this are just ramdom phishing telegram channel links scammers creates and post on random platforms, those too eager for their presale bonus offers and sales get attracted to them and enters through the link instead of them joining the telegram group from the official site to any crypto project.
Telegram has always been dangerous for crypto users, Telegram was the best place for scammers to easily scam crypto users in various ways. They create fake websites of various projects at maximum time and promote those websites using Telegram, this is also a similar move. I posted about this scam because pinksale is very popular in crypto market it is likely that many crypto users fall into the trap of this fake website.
To be Frank Telegram are so much common for such scam and Discord is now becoming no difference in fact every social media has always have a certain type schemes scammers use there to scam.

More coin and token will be created especially now during bull markets while alot of investors will be interested in the pre-sale but to be Frank it is better to avoid all these ICO, we're in the bull aside from such phishing scam, Rug pull scam, exist scam, pump and dump schemes will be common. It's less risky getting this coins/tokens after their released but if one still consider to invest in ICO, they should be more aware of the risk and always be cautious of everything including if they are following the actual team and if these projects team are actually not scammers

371  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Addressing Concerns: The Growing Data Demands of Blockchain and the Threat of Ce on: March 15, 2024, 07:36:31 AM
As blockchain networks grow and their data expands, the demand for storage increases. This leads to concerns about the centralization of full nodes, as larger corporations with significant resources might dominate node operation, potentially undermining decentralization. Individuals often lack the resources to run full nodes, impacting their influence on network consensus. This raises questions about the long-term decentralization of blockchain networks. How can we address these challenges and ensure that blockchain remains truly decentralized?
Aside blockchains using POW, I don't really know any other blockchains mechanism that is entirely decentralized but Bitcoin security make it stands above every other blockchains using POW, which have been affected by the 51% hack.

You should note that all bitcoin miners are full noders, resources needed to run a node will be added to their expenses in mining and so if centralization hasn't happened now, I don't think it will happen in the long. In addition to this we have individuals who will continue to run full nodes and so there is no much worries about centralization in regard to Bitcoin.

pooya87, as spoken about the essence of limiting block size which makes Bitcoin network stands strong in security and decentralization than any other blockchains
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 14, 2024, 01:12:28 PM
Atletico Madrid should never be underestimated when it comes to big tournaments like the Champions League and Europa League.
The equalizing goal by Griezmann was a little bit lucky, the Inter Milan defender should have cleared the ball far away, but he missed and Griezmann was at the right place in the right time. It seems to me that the Inter players weren't prepared for the penalties, while the Atletico players had trained penalties before the match.
They should not be underestimated but Inter Milan actually played good in both two matches. They lost after the penalties because their players wasted many opportunities in both matches. Even in the match in Madrid, after Atletico Madrid equalized the result to 1 - 1, Inter Milan got two good opportunities but Marcus Thuram and Nicolo Barella could not score a second goal for them. If Inter Milan could score one goal from these two opportunities, when the match has only 10 minutes left, Atletico Madrid would give up as they will need to score two goals to equalize the aggregated result.

After all wasted chances, Inter Milan lost through penalties and they have to regret about it as they actually can do it better.

Atletico Madrid again shown their strong mentality and good discipline in tactics that are very helpful for them at Champions League level.
Truly they were having more open chances to score but Atletico also did miss some good chances but we only saw Atletico Madrid not having a chance of winning because of the first leg result and their domestic stat though we knew Atletico Madrid were just inconsistent since they have a wonderful squad just like Inter Milan which can say ought to be stronger than Inter Milan squad.
Diego Simeone substituting Morata for Depay was among the key changes that won them the match, guess we can say his tactics in the match was better than that of Simone Inzaghi. Getting to the penalty shoot-out I guess we could all agree that even both team took it we knew Atletico would win

In my opinion, Atletico Madrid does not have a burden in the Domestic League, that's why they were able to win in the second leg of the Champions League, beating Inter Milan, who is said to be very strong in Serie A, it was difficult for Atletico Madrid to build attack after attack in that match, even though luck was with Atletico Madrid at least their focus is not divided in fighting for this season's trophy in Laliga and is focused on fighting for the Champions League Trophy. Even though Inter Milan put up significant resistance, luck is not on their side, because their focus is divided and the busy schedule makes them seem tired and makes their focus split. and we can see the results in last night's match..
I don`t think was the issue but we accept that they were a bit unlucky or wasteful with chances but about having domestic league burden its far from it though are playing Napoli but that doesn`t matter they are topping the league with a huge gap with the team sitting second which is 14 points and so this shouldn`t be a burden

Investing in bitcoin is also gambling.

Investing in bitcoin is the opposite of gambling
I guess he miss it

Trading bitcoin as a state of gambling

HODLing bitcoin is far from it, after all its the best store of value in the world
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 14, 2024, 12:08:47 PM
For one, this thread is about bitcoin and not shitcoins, and secondly, DCA does not work with shitcoins because they are not long term investments that have any fundamental and/or long term value.

DCA tends to apply quite well for bitcoin and/or long term investments bacuase it allows you to build your position over many years 4-10 years or longer.

Shit coins are equivalent to gambling and gambling is for losers. One can invest few bucks in shitcoins for fun but real focus and most of your capital should be going to Bitcoin alone.
One thing to note about DCA is that it's not for people with low patience as it takes years to build a profitable portfolio with DCA. So anyone coming to DCA should keep in mind that it will takes years not months.

Of course, if you are still in your accumulation stage, you can supplement your accumulation with buying on dips and also lump sum investing, and so only you can figure out which accumulation methods to apply and when you might consider yourself to no longer be in accumulation stage... and yeah, a lot of newbies might have chances to build their investment into bitcoin over 4-10 years or longer, and they likely end up selling too much too soon and then likely putting themselves into a worse place than if they had just focused on accumulating through the varying buying techniques rather than selling, trading and/or gambling with their investment.. in such a great and powerful (and option providing) asset, such as bitcoin.

We can relate with this with current bull run where people are selling too early. It's not a success that you buy at 60k and sell on 70k since this will give you only a limited profit. One must have a plan where he must gather bitcoins before he start thinking to sell some of his holdings. How many Bitcoins are sufficent is a subjective question. So some people 100 Bitcoins are low while for many getting even 1 bitcoin is difficult.

I find the question of when (if?) to sell any corn a bit more nuanced than just trying to time the best profit in $. If you believe that BTC is going to become the world's best store of value (or already is); and that BTC will replace the $ as the world's dominant/reserve currency, then you don't want to end up with bags of fiat. Then the question becomes how many BTC are you willing to sell before that happens, so that you reach a reasonable compromise between enjoying the present and facilitating a more comfortable/enjoyable lifestyle, and keeping your BTC for the time when you won't need to sell it for fiat because it has usurped fiat in all use cases (store of value, medium of exchange and f**k you tool against state governments' corrupt financial system).
I think this is base on individual investment plans, I guess every real bitcoiner have that stash of bitcoin in their bitcoin holdings they have planned to never sell, even if they sell during bull these stash are not sold and then may try to get back the stash they sold during bear.
These never selling stash are base on the total number of bitcoin holdings an individuals as and so some may leave within 10% to 90% of their total holdings this is a rough estimation, like i said its base on individual investment plan and to total holdings

The compromise is difficult to find because of the unknown timescale for when BTC will replace fiat. And the unknown timescale of when you will die. I mean, who wants to die with lots of unspent funds, the spending of which could have made your life better. You could leave it to your kids, but where's the fun in that?

Quote
“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's. children.” — Proverbs 13:22.

I don`t know if you are a believer of the bible but this holds true here, Bitcoin is the best store of value in world, which makes bitcoin better to leave for anyone and Hal Finney knew this early and kept bitcoins for his Children.
Solely we likely gonna miss that entertaining moment but those will pass on these knowledge and coin will never do and but in the end what matters are we know we are right though time we tell for all to see
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: March 14, 2024, 09:50:10 AM
I am not a mobile person too but with that award, it seems that I should try it out and see it for myself. Having a responsive feature to the mobile users is one of the features that most casinos should have and with that award, it only means that bc.game has been recognized and shown that sigma africa awards something within them. It's also encouraging us to join them through mobile but we will get there soon.  Tongue
Actually I have never use my PC to access any gambling site, I usually use my phone maybe is because I use my mobile device more often than the pc, to be frank in Nigeria about 90% should be having a smartphone or access to one but that can't be said for a PC, I believe majority of Nigerian use smartphone for accessing any gambling platform including BC.GAME
I have no idea about that metric but if you're familiar with how Nigerians do their thing through their smartphones then that's it. We've got some news last year that they're the fastest growing country in terms of adoption in crypto trades so it's really possible of what you're saying about them.
I'm a Nigerian, I guess we have taken crypto adoption personally but this is from the fact that it as given us financial freedom, the unemployment rate in Nigeria continues to increase and so we Nigerians majority youths has seen it as a source of income especially from the fact that one doesn't necessarily needs high capital to start and we will continue to increase won't be surprised if we top the list this year since we are in the bull and bitcoin hitting a new ATH with halving close by many more will be joining this space  Grin

That's what actually what is mobile for and for sure that they'll maintain it, they do understand that not everyone has their own laptop and desktop and this gives comfort to those that don't have any other way of accessing bc.game but through their smartphones.
Actually BC.Game web sites on mobile works excellently well for me,  it has good user experience and I haven't really experienced any lagging when using it, I guess you will be trying it on mobile while I will be trying it on my pc  soon
Good to hear that, I'd be doing it as well although I am more convenient into desktop/laptop because I am into a bigger and wider screen for things like this. And that's why I also encourage you to visit them through your PC.  Smiley
I guess as a Nigerian I will continue to stick with the mobile though will give it a try on my pc probably before this weekend by God grace
376  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How people are making money using P2P that you don't know on: March 14, 2024, 08:13:45 AM
For those who don't know, Merchants on P2P are paid wholesomely. That's what the government likely sense and decided to forcely make Binance to pay tax so that in return everybody using It will pay a fee when using P2P. Well, as we all see they failed in that. And I like as Binance made them understated you can't take everything from your people.
Government getting tax from this exchange is understandable and many will be supporting this, top
Countries has been using tax to regulate cryptocurrency and Nigeria doing it is not a bad idea, the only issue that makes this disappointing is the approach of the government towards this regulation which makes it seems like they are more concerned about fining binance than regulating these exchanges

In the sense that Binance thwarted those efforts, we still find it essential to understand how to make money efficiently using P2P. Some users opt for any exchange because they reside in a 'my friend said' arena. However, it's crucial to be discerning and knowing reason why I use this particular cex for P2P and to identify which exchange offers better rates and is more favorable. An article comparing Bitget and Bybit P2P has been written, which I hope will be helpful to many and provide insight into which platforms to utilize. All relevant information is contained within this article:

https://x.com/empress_btc/status/1767917625596625115?s=20
You did a good job on your review and base on it we can say bitget is better than bybit but if I be frank base on your review about p2p scam being more common on bybit than bitget, I see this as true since after all bybit is a bigger exchange than bitget and so will attract more scammers and good vendors but the fact is that no matter which exchange or platform we use for p2p, we should be cautious about who we are dealing with to avoid being scam, this thread helpful to anyone who has not seen it Tips to Avoid Scams on Cryptocurrency p2p Exchanges

I'm not interested in becoming a vendor but I can say these vendor bonuses are attractive but I guess this your review just gave some us another business idea Thanks God bless you, but it's advisable for anyone venturing in to this business to do their own research before starting

Every casino needs to have certain features so they can stand out as the market is so competitive. One of the things that bc.game stands out is the playability of the casino on a mobile phone. Personally I never use my mobile to play on casino but I bet that market is also growing. Congrats bc.game for another award!
I am not a mobile person too but with that award, it seems that I should try it out and see it for myself. So when I'm really lazy about opening my laptop or computer, I can gamble with my cellphone by accessing this bc.game. I also hope they continue to maintain their site so that it remains light for cellphone users because not everyone has a personal computer or laptop. and only have a cellphone, but even so, bc.game must continue to compete with other gambling sites in terms of service and also convenience for all users so that they can access their site without obstacles and slowness, at least cellphone browser users must still be prioritized in this case so that bc.game can continue to get lots of new users.

To be frank if this is through a legal means then binance may have no other choice than to review it to them but reading the news I didn't see anything like they having banking from SEC and it's disappointing that the 2 binance executives are still detained, I thought they would have released them after mass critics.

To be honest I wonder how true are the other charges against binance aside the tax liabilities that would warrant $10 billion fine and till now Binance hasn't spoken to the public about it which makes the entire situation here weird.
I saw this just now but I do not know how true it is, that Tinubu government will release Binance executives if Binance release the names of the top 100 users and their transactions in the last 6 months. I think this is more detailed than the previous one.

Tinubu demanded names, transaction details of top 100 Binance users in Nigeria before release of detained executives: Report

Let us see what will am happen.
I don't really know how true is this because there be atom of truth after how things are moving about the $10 billion fine.

Binance has finally spoken out about the recent news regarding to our government claims
Binance said, Complying to rules and regulations set in countries were they operate is a top priority. They said they engage proactively with regulators and law enforcement whenever they can to contribute insight, intelligence, or expertise to help protect users, identify and prosecute criminals or stop or prevent unlawful activity.

Binance acknowledge the fast growth of crypto currency adoption in Nigeria and the trust many Nigerians as for them but also spoke that we are not yet among their top markets, though they  also believe we have extraordinary potential and hope to continue to invest here.

Base on their report below, they have been helping the Nigerian law enforcement in finding criminals and training.
Information Requests and Training Sessions
Binance has a policy of cooperation and compliance with all lawful information requests and legal inquiries from government, local regulatory, and law enforcement authorities pertaining to investigations, prosecutions, and forfeiture actions.

Between June 2020 and February 2024, Binance’s financial crime compliance (FCC) teams responded to 626 information requests coming from Nigerian law enforcement agencies or related to investigations pertinent to Nigeria, with an average of 37.4 hours between submission and resolution. The information we provided helped a vast range of agencies, such as the Nigeria Police Force, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and INTERPOL Nigeria to tackle crimes ranging from scams and fraud to money laundering, blackmail, kidnapping, and extortion. In one high-profile action that took place in January 2022, we restricted 281 accounts belonging to Nigerian residents due to money laundering concerns and extensively collaborated with the authorities to protect users from illicit activity.

In recent months, Binance’s team has visited Nigeria twice  in November and December 2023. Our Law Enforcement Training team delivered two full-day sessions to EFCC officials in Abuja and Lagos, with more than 30 investigators attending each of them. The training focused on practical aspects of cryptocurrency investigations: following the money on the blockchain using both public and commercial tracing tools. We provided training for Nigerian crime fighters on the role of exchanges in the digital-asset ecosystem and gave a comprehensive overview of Binance’s operations. We also introduced several case studies, including those featuring Nigerian suspects. Both sessions received overwhelmingly positive feedback from Nigerian investigators, who expressed strong interest in continuing this format of cooperation.

In August 2023, we also delivered a three-hour online workshop for 70 EFCC officials, focusing on the interpretation of Binance’s operational responses and the most effective ways of leveraging the assistance we can provide.

Furthermore, we have been cooperating with the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, holding two meetings and discussing a memorandum of understanding focused on continuous training initiatives and operational cooperation, and held talks with the Nigeria Police Force about organizing a similar training session.

These trainings and sessions are unprecedented within the cryptocurrency industry. There is no other exchange that has committed to such close proactive cooperation with law enforcement and delivering relevant, practical education to their employees.

They also acknowledge the prosperity of fintech in Nigeria

If only our government can be sensible now to regulate these exchanges and enjoy Tax from them, things would be better for us all especially our economy and attracting foreign investors to US.
Also with their claim I guess if they can come to an agreement with our government things will be running fine again

Ps: I was thinking of creating a new thread for this but since there are so many binance thread, I just opt for this though hope this topic fit this thread?

You can also use  Exodus or Blue wallet as they are userfriendly  and are also non custodial wallet.
Exodus is a close source wallet and not recommended. Bluewallet is just for bitcoin and not an altcoin wallet, it is not supporting Ethereum.

He said not recomended (Exodus) not bad because its  not open sourced.
And I did added Ithat Metamask  is good ...
If you've  downloaded  blue wallet you will definitely  find out it does not support Altcoins.
So what are you insinuating on  Roll Eyes
Just accept your wrong what you recommend are misleading, learn from your mistakes and stop acting thick skined.
There is a reason why close source wallet are not advisable Do beginners know what closed & open source wallets are?

You don't really know how misleading this was and your response is far from reasonable, if this was done outside our LB, it may have resulted for you to be tagged especially after your reply, here there are actual some leniency but if you continue like this, you likely we get same judgment, be mindful how you reply posts
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Demanding Bitcoin in payment for appeal correspondence. on: March 13, 2024, 02:34:27 PM
Have any members here tried something like this? Whilst Bitcoin is not legal tender in the UK, it is not banned as a medium of exchange or method of payment.
Though I haven't tried this but In my own country while bitcoin is not a legal tender if both parties can come to an agreement in order to use it as a means of payment then it can simply be done with no issue. I guessed this is how yours works also and that's if they agree to your terms then using BTC would be great.
Though I will love to know what option they later opt for.
