361  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ★ What's your contribution to Bitcoin? ★ on: June 26, 2016, 01:18:37 PM
Can't say I really have one other than advocating the use of those who I know the use of cryptocurrencies and introducing them to the ideas and potential they hold.

I've asked about bitcoin to my friends and they say it doesn't have any potential at all, those who didn't know about bitcoin also said its without any potential..

Still, not giving up spreading the word is what makes this currency grow in the first place I believe, telling one person can make quite a big circle of interest and thus make BTC grow
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: June 26, 2016, 01:09:40 PM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?
Gambling is more risk than trading because on gambling there are not way to cut lost, the method most safe on gambling is play with you can lost it.

Yeah, and the most important thing is to not be emotionally attached to the money you have. Can't really give a better advice, if you have issues, don't play with poker/stock market.

The thing is that you have to bear the loss, I see a lot of people get into the gambling addiction and this is because they are playing with 'their' money and not 'play money', that's the real issue.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 26, 2016, 01:05:53 PM
I doubt it will disappear anytime soon, maybe in a fifty to hundred years once it become irrelevant as society evolves

if it'd disappear now, btc price would not skyrocket that much as well, because we have electronic banking, which we'd surely use

364  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 26, 2016, 12:51:32 PM
Some its wise to invest considering its halving year

In my eyes its not wise because the price is now already pretty high and due to that if you are investing now you can also easily lose profit without any doubts.
yeah probably quite risky if you buy bitcoin at such a high price today because I'm sure a lot of people are afraid because the price down is very likely to occur. I think if the price of bitcoin down like yesterday you have to dare to buy. because it is the time to buy
I believe that the price of bitcoin will rise again. if you're in doubt about it, a good option is to invest bitcoin do you have because then you could be making bitcoin you got more.

Yes, that's why I'd save it as well and not keep it around, buy as much as i can till the price is low.

investing is the best for the future, and if you invest in bitcoin it can add more value to your money (if of course the value climbs up)
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 26, 2016, 12:39:23 PM
Voted for Germany. Germany is the most advanced international team. Not to mention the top tier class players on their side. Hummels, Schweinsteiger, Muller... etc

France is too young, could be inexperienced, tempered and on the finals everyone will try to prove how 'pro' they are, just my opinion though.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why most of btc users are russians? on: June 26, 2016, 12:28:22 PM
I don't know anyone that is russian, at least I do not have contact with them but even if most of users are russian it does not matter, it means that they value more bitcoin rather than their russian ruble currency, and I don't know how people can calculate how much people in US are using bitcoin or not, I think it is anonymous?

Well the reason behind it is that russians typically have a way way lower wage than us (europe/usa) and the bitcoin currency seems to be attractive to them

though i got to say, that's the thing, the circle of interest is quite big in their country due to the attractiveness it provides, would do the same if i was in their place.

Maybe because the life's standard is lower there means that through bitcoin they see it as an investment and looking back for profit and this is good because more and more people that use bitcoin the greater price will be as people will buy more bitcoin.

Well yeah, you summed it up quite correctly, beneficial from every point that you look at it. Investing and the profit it brings is why most of people with lower wages choose btc.

As I said, I think you and I would be doing the same if we were in their place, can't blame them for that. Well, I definitely would, as for you and everyone else, can't decide.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 26, 2016, 12:23:44 PM
Voted for 600, don't really think it's going to jump that high as some people voter (700,800,1000). Could also be the that the new brexit referendum (as some people discuss about it here) will either f*** BTC or make it higher than ever before.

either way, time will tell though, don't think it's beneficial for you all to talk about it that much, though i love theorycraft
368  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you make money online? on: June 26, 2016, 12:17:52 PM
for me it would be getting a good decent capital by playing poker, becoming a freelance transcriptionist, doing stocks.... Would see the best outcome and go for it.

secondly it would be gambling/selling/mining BTC, if that doesn't work out, blogging and youtube channel is the last option imo, could try facebook marketing as well maybe.. pretty skeptical about it though

370  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 26, 2016, 11:01:13 AM
I'd store the BTC somewhere safe (keep it in an usb of some sort) Though i'd really keep in mind that BTC can change anytime, thus keeping it stored wouldn't be such a good decision.

or maybe invest it all in stocks and trade it up to even a higher amount... who knows... I'd really want to try out the stock trading and see how it goes from there.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 25, 2016, 01:03:17 PM
yes i'm holding my bitcoin. Although with different reason why I'm holding it, my bitcoin balance isn't sufficience to withdraw to my bank account need more bitcoin.

I think if you had the bitcoins its best to save it for the time being. Halving is nearby and we are already experiencing the increase in the price.

Definitely holding today is the best thing to do. Save your bitcoins as it is still early for the halving to come. Until there is time for the price increase of halving brings. Just hold and wait for the increase because after it we will going to harvest the fruits of our wait.

Doing the same at the moment, could exchange it once it reaches around 1500$... Doubt it'd ever go above that, time will tell though.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 25, 2016, 12:53:00 PM
I'd do poker myself, can't really play it on my country unfortunately. Though I'd do it till I reach a point where I am financially stable and not feel and emotional correlation between the money and myself (not feel the backlash if i lose) because I'd invest a good sum of it into stocks. Either invest in BTC itself, or some other stocks. From then, who knows what could happen...
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 25, 2016, 12:42:29 PM
Why is this thread still at the top of the page in the main area of the forum?

It's impossible Bitcoin could go to 1 USD, not even worth discussing as a scenario.

 Cry Cry

Haha yeah. Though people hypothesize that many things could happen, just a thought experiment, see nothing wrong with it. As for me, could be that people will just make a new currency platform, similar to bitcoin or move to the (other ones) existing now.
374  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: June 25, 2016, 12:35:09 PM
Bitcoin is the best payment method involving very least fees and you have access to your funds 24/7 and you can receive or send money anytime in quick time.

I agree, though the "unpredictable currency" kills the attraction for the newcomers. For me, and I believe for anyone else, it is attractive because of it's uniqueness and the fact that everyone can do it.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: June 23, 2016, 10:58:40 PM
i use bitcoin mostly as an investment with a good profit and most of my coins are being held for long term. and the amount of bitcoin that i spend is so much less than the amount of money that i spend so i can't really say i use bitcoin to buy things yet

Yeah i feel you long term investment is great but the building itself is the foundation of why a lot of us use btc, the extreme jumps and dives is what brings us all back to the moment we first loved about finding btc.
i think it is better to just hold it all because with all those jumps you might lose a lot of money in a really short time in my opinion and it would definitely be a bad thing for you

bitcoin is really important for me and i know that the price of the bitcoin is definitely going to grow really soon thus allowing me to make some good money thats why it is important for me
376  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 10:53:18 PM
for me the least favorite thing about bitcoin is the long address for receiving the bitcoin, i understand it has to be that way but some alias system for addresses would be great.
thats true its a huge drawback that you cannot remember all the address to receive your bitcoins to even though its possible to remember it it would take a lot of time to write it

i think my least favorite thing is that the transactions of the bitcoins are really long to get confirmed, i think that this is the problem that will never be solved with bitcoins
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 10:50:31 PM
I'd say aprox a quarter of whats stopping people from using Bitcoin is the media made conception that Bitcoin is associated with criminal activity.
thats true in my opinion and i think that way more people would use bitcoins right now if all those people wouldnt be made to think that bitcoin might be illegal and that it might give you prison

i think people shouldnt care that much about the whole media thing but in my opinion also countries sometimes ban bitcoins so people just dont get a chance to use bitcoins even if they actually want
378  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: June 23, 2016, 10:46:46 PM
I remember seeing their is some group in Austrlia that is looking into this and you can collect a % of your paycheck from them as Bitcoin. It's pretty cool...
that would be a really cool idea in my opinion and i would definitely use that if i had at least a smallest chance to do that, i think that would be really great and it would be easy to use

i would definitely like to receive my salary in bitcoins i think because i like using bitcoins a lot and i know that the price would grow in the future so it would be a good idea for me to hold it
379  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: June 23, 2016, 10:33:25 PM
But what if you have 70 btc?  Wink

70 BTC is simply insanely impossible for 99.9999999999% of population. We don't have enough time to reach that goal. It's better to focus on 21. Focus on hard, but realistic goals. Once you reach 21 BTC, you have enough capital to make some heavy trading.
I think if you want to work hard and have a good plan with a capital of 21 bitcoin it. you can get 70 BTC is it? even many people who gamble with the amount of it?
i doubt that it is worth gambling your bitcoins in my opinion because thats a lot of money and you should definitely not gamble all your money you already have in order to avoid losts

i think i would just hold all of my bitcoins in order to make a lot of money in the near future because i know that the price of bitcoin is going to rise fast thus giving me good profit
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Ethereum will be finished after this attack on: June 19, 2016, 04:05:09 PM
i think that is because bitcoin started growing, because of that ethereum is growing too so i think we might see a recover to the near price it was pretty soon most probably

i think ethereum wont be finished any time soon thus people will start buying it once again and pumping the price up, everything depends on the people only who want to hold
