361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - TOKEN CREATION SERVICE SOON on: June 12, 2017, 04:41:00 PM
Hello

I just put this here :

https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/minereum.com
"The website expected life (365 days) is relatively short." Indeed it is.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6bllbw/minereum_what_do_you_guys_think/
"Same article over and over."

http://boards.4chan.org/biz/thread/2185550/minereum-general
Really ? Its too bad.

Some light would be nice. And stop manipulate the value, it go from 9$ to 8$ every hours.

Hello

Thanks, that was really helpful. Your reputation on Bitcoin Talk is huge. I guess I better go sell my MNE holding.

Oh wait, you're just an idiot.

If you don't like the way this project is being conducted, if you don't believe in it. Then stop whining, sell your MNE and go buy something you believe in.

My username isn't the issue here, can you please light me up so I keep my investment on this coin ? I just want some clarification, thats all I ask.

Best regards.

The website is less than a year old, because, well, the token is only about two months old itself.

The reddit and 4chan stuff isn't encouraged by the Dev and most of the members on the chat channel. It is what it is though, and you can't control people's actions. This goes for the trading as well. The price is fluctuating because of buying and selling. I guess you could call that manipulation if you want, but that goes for every other traded item ever.

When will we know the name of the new exchange? Meaning, how soon before it goes live will the name be revealed?

My understanding is that it won't be revealed until it goes live. Dev mentioned a non disclosure agreement concerning it.
It's very hard to don't know this exchange.
Now, it's make a long time waited, no ?

Yeah, it's tough to wait, but in the grand scheme of things, this token isn't even two months old. The new exchange might be a little behind schedule, but I think it will be worth the wait.

Vote for Minereum on c-cex
.

Now only 3 Voices...

 Need your voice!!!

This would stain Minereum's reputation as many already believe C-Cex is a 'scam exchange' or 'where sh*tcoins go to die.'

Agree or not with these statements, it won't change the opinion's of those who believe it to be true.

Better to have a little more patience and see MNE on classy exchanges rather than bury it in yosh*t and c-cex.

Agreed. Give the Dev some breathing room. He's done good by us so far. I don't doubt that the exchange(s) he's working with have a better reputation.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: June 08, 2017, 04:09:16 PM
did genesis adress owners get that adress for free at the begining? Huh

Yes, the airdrop was free.

so they will get 10$ per day with current value.

i bought some when it was 5.50$ but i think, at the end only genesis owners will get profit.

I would hold onto that at least until the token creation service is launched. You might be pleasantly surprised at the return you get.

The genesis holders have an advantage, for sure, but anyone that gets in early enough would do well if and when this token goes to the next level.

Hey, dev. How to increase the extraction of coins? Can I buy MNE on the exchange and send them to my address... where I have 32k?
Then will I get more?

You can't increase the mining rate of 1.8 tokens per day. Also, you can't send MNE to a genesis address.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: June 07, 2017, 06:25:15 PM
Why I can't send my minereum token?

To:Contract 0x1a95b271b0535d15fa49932daba31ba612b52946
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad instruction]

Maybe you are trying to send more than the available balance, you need to first confirmed the amount of tokens available for transfer, because for now not all the 32000 tokens is available for transfer.

Thank you for the reply

"you need to first confirmed the amount of tokens" How?

Once I had 320 MNE! Now 32000!
How do I use my original 320?
What do those 32000 mean?

Can anyone help me please?
I see much enthusiasm around this coin, but I do not understand much! What do my 32,000 coins indicate and how and when can I use them?

32,000 is the number of MNE that will be mined by a genesis account over 47 years.

You wouldn't have 320 available for transfer unless you purchased some or signed up for more than one genesis account. As of right now, one genesis address would have mined something over a hundred MNE. You would go to your wallet and contracts and select the MNE contract and check available balance function to see what you actually can transfer.

Hope this helps.

They will release new Exchange this week. Smiley

Where the news from? I will be sorry if that is true ...I just sold all my MNE those days ~~

It's the last update the Dev posted. It was scheduled for last week but he said that was tentative. As such, most people are expecting the new exchange this week.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: June 05, 2017, 03:47:54 PM
Understood, thanks for the answer.

I guess my concern is that with ETH we started (I think) from a 72m initial base and have gone to 90m or so, where as with MNE its going to be going from a tiny base and going up 9x in the first year so the dilution is (theoretically) greater. Its very interesting though.

No problem.

Yeah, it's an interesting one to watch. I was lucky enough to sign up for a genesis address so I'm biased, but it will be telling to see how the token creation process plays out. If this is done well, I think it could get a big boost. If it's used by a great many people, it will also help curb the inflation as the MNE will be burned in the process.

The Dev is pretty enigmatic but he/she/they seem to be skilled at what they're doing.

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: June 05, 2017, 03:20:38 PM
Apologies in advance for what I think is probably a stupid question but there's something I don't quite understand. I have tried to look on the website/read through here but I can't find an answer so Im probably just not understanding it properly.

There's 4268 genesis addresses, each generating new MNE every day (~8000 a day) until eventually we hit 136,576,000 MNE. Is it just people with the genesis addresses who are generating these new MNE, or does everyone holding some MNE generate new ones?

If the former, then I can't understand why I would buy MNE when the total supply is going to increase from 400k today to 136m (albeit over a long time period). With the price at ~$10, say I bought 50 MNE today, surely that is going to be eroded massively even by this time next year when we will have gone from around 400,000 today to 3.3m? But if the latter then I can't understand why people are buying genesis addresses.

It is just the genesis addresses that are generating MNE.

MNE will be burned in the token creation process and even with the supply increasing, it is at a much lower rate than other crypto's such as ETH.

People are buying genesis addresses in the hopes that the coin continues to rise. It's a risky bet though, as the buyer can't change the wallet key. If the seller is dishonest and decides to, they can always re-access the account.

Damn i got in at 5$ i was afraid i was too late.  Cool
I am entering on 8 Smiley

Yeah, if you're willing to hold awhile, I think you'll do fine. Once the other exchange is announced and the token creation service goes live I imagine you'll do well long term.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: May 30, 2017, 12:19:36 PM

It is a nice initiative, I am thinking as well, maybe someone can make a telegram gorup for genesis holders, so that we can give promotions to futher market and let other people be aware of what is MNE and its community. I am genesis holder and I am in, in giving some coins to help the development of MNE.

I think that's a great idea. I'm a genesis holder as well and would be happy to donate.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING NEW ROADMAP on: May 29, 2017, 04:08:54 PM
Any updates today Dev?

Be patient dev will come with big announcement they are still doing hard job to make it more great. MNE will be giant project in future and by the end of this it will be over $25.
Is there a slack, IRC, discord or communication channel where the devs talk?

There's a twitter account and telegram page mentioned in the first post on the first page (also on the minereum website). Not sure about the other channels.

Totally agree. Sorry if that came off as a dig at you, not my intention.

Not at all, no offense taken.

The amount of "What is so special about this coin?" questions is increasing every day. It's easy to get annoyed with them, but I think it will benefit everyone if we keep asking that question. We can always make something better. I think there are a few main reasons that make this coin unique/special, but I think there are probably more. So I think we should continue to brainstorm on how this coin can be used as others cannot. I am also interested in writing a little article that can be circulated that goes a little more in depth than some of the others that have been in the news. (I don't know if I ever well actually do that, but I figure this is where it needs to start anyway.)

Here are the obvious strengths on Minereum:

First coin to self-mine
   Releases in predictable way
   Does not require energy

First to create easy token creation service
This will include tokens that use the same innovative self-mining process
Will make ethereum token use-cases accessible to the masses

Potential world-wide lottery service
   Paid into only with Minereum
Increases rate at which Minereum is taken out of circulation

Tokens received from services will be destroyed
Taking them out of circulation and increasing scarcity/value

So some questions.

1. Is there any reason you can think of as to why a lottery service will work better on Minereum compared to other coins?
2. What are some ideas you have for tokens that could be created with the upcoming service?
3. What are some other unique services you think could be created for Minereum?

Thanks for the help!
Cheers

I agree, questions are a good thing in and of themselves.

I just got tired of AmarO's attitude. You can be curious and respectful at the same time.

What are use cases for your coin? All it does is slowly mine itself overtime and you can use it to create your own Ethereum tokens lol. Please expand the uses of this coin to warrant its value. Many more coins are coming with the ability to create ETH smart tokens I read one ICO just yesterday and it can also ETF. This is just simple.

I think at this point you've made it clear that you don't think it's a great idea. Move onto a coin that you think is better. Why continually pepper the thread with negativity?

Hard to pick, but I think I prefer the YouTube as well. Both are nice, though.

Good stuff. I went ahead and commented on the article. It might be helpful if others do as well.

Self-mining is basically a very slow airdrop, right?

Yes, that's probably an accurate way of describing it.
