Looks like WI did well and got to 182. They have set a good target now. Lets just hope India is able to overcome the target

They did well to get there but I really doubt it will be enough for them to win.

So, the first registering authority of bitcoin.org must have Satoshi's credit card details !!! Is that very difficult for Govt. agencies to find that out ?

Good job, you've successfully found a way to id satoshi that nobody else has thought of in all these years.

He registered it using https://www.anonymousspeech.com/ which allowed for anonymous registering.

I am not very sure how anonymousspeech operates. For some reason, their site is not opening at my end !!! But, they must have received the payment from Satoshi. So, what if the Govt query them about the source of the payment ? Because, at that time, there was no bitcoin to make anonymous payment.

You can overcome by using prepaid anonymous debit cards or similar anonymous services. If you think buying/paying with prepaid debit card is still easy to track, you can buy another prepaid debit card with the current one, buy another with it and so on. But yes, loop hole can be there but it is very hard to go through it.

Where I live you can buy one of these without giving a name and the shop has no cameras = Full privacy I guess.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you "scared" that Bitcoin might actually succeed? on: March 06, 2015, 10:23:15 AM
I think the definition for success is variable. For many bitcoins success means it becoming it's own stabilized currency not being pegged to another external fiat value. I would love to see bitcoin succeed but I don't think I am ready for something this drastic.

365  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: March 06, 2015, 10:18:50 AM
I'm enjoying this site so far. Seems to be fairly legit from what I can tell and I like the design. Keep up the good work!
366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you a Communist, Socialist, Capitalist, Marxist? on: March 06, 2015, 10:15:17 AM
I am a bit conflicted with where I stand right now. I support a lot of capitalist ideas although the system in general seems to be set for failure.

Perhaps this needs to be in the Beginners section...

Satoshi started Bitcointalk?

The very first topic in the forum is started by Satoshi and talks about Bitcoin 2.0 -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=16.0

Pretty cool!

That's Bitcoin 0.2, not 2.0. Satoshi also registered bitcoin.org.

So, the first registering authority of bitcoin.org must have Satoshi's credit card details !!! Is that very difficult for Govt. agencies to find that out ?

I hate to be the conspiracy theorist but surely there is more to satoshi than being a simple person, I'm sure he would have made one fault someowhere along the line if he where.

The police aren't great but at least many of them still try to do there job properly.
369  Other / Meta / Re: "Satoshi" started Bitcointalk? on: March 06, 2015, 09:08:56 AM
Yes satoshi was the founder of bitcoin as we know it, this includes the forums. It is quite incredible to look back on some of these things in my opinion.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are no anonymous altcoins being widely utilized? on: March 06, 2015, 09:06:18 AM
I believe it is because no altcoin has shown enough promise for largescale use, such as litecoin was a decent coin and gained a fair amount of trust in the community for having strong dev's and a good name (rep).
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the rumor about the latest 50,000 BTC auction true? on: March 06, 2015, 09:04:51 AM
It will be interesting to find out if it's true or not. It would not surprise me however at the same time I think 30 percent is a bit excessive when you can just slowly buy over the space of a month and pay maybe a 10 percent premium at most.
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin coummity on: March 06, 2015, 09:00:12 AM
thanks for the reply peeps i think will go for coinbase seems like the most simple once out there.

besides day trading with bitcoin what other investing options out there with bitcoin?

There are a few gambling sites that take actual investments which get added as part of there bakroll which are usually good. Take a look at this thread if you wish: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=976903
One great way to earn Btc is through signature campaigns however you will probably need to buy an account to do this. If you are interested though PM me, you can earn about 0.001 BTC per post you make fairly easy with a small investment.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2015, 08:57:19 AM
Just like what you will be doing in a day life for increasing your fiat, do the same for bitcoin as well.
I play poker and do some of trading for that.

Poker is a good way to both win and lose all your money depending on both luck and skill. It works well but generally if you are just starting is not a reliable way of growing btc.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sending without transaction fees on: March 06, 2015, 08:55:45 AM
Honestly it is so much easier to just use a transaction fee of like less than a cent... Otherwise you run the risk of it not confirming for a long time.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Machines and money on: March 06, 2015, 08:53:52 AM
Human fighting for survival against computers is not pure science fiction. Computers are an integral part of our lives now. They can cause catastrophic disasters if they malfunction or infected by a sleeper virus. We are not at the stage where AI can think on it's own, we could be in a few decades.

Imagine we get to a point where a robot society could live side by side with us through artificial intelligence. It could be both catastrophic or the best thing to ever happen to us.
376  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: cggminer not running properly with asic block erupters? on: March 06, 2015, 08:51:47 AM
Give the new drivers ago as others have suggested, if that does not work let us now. It is a good idea however to update your cgminer.
377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Such a Great Fair game I love You Primedice Thanks You so Much on: March 06, 2015, 08:50:31 AM

378  Other / Meta / Re: Selling accounts is wrong or right? on: March 05, 2015, 09:21:13 PM
I think it is good that we are allowed to do such things in the forum but I agree it is not good that people scam using bought accounts.
379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin coummity on: March 05, 2015, 09:17:45 PM

380  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unlucky Lose Streak on: March 05, 2015, 09:16:34 PM
try your luck playing other gambling games mate, maybe you are just unlucky in dice

He did not have that big of a losing streak though really, I'm sure he could still make a fair amount of money.
