361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: April 11, 2020, 04:10:04 PM
Well I don't know for others but airdrops are not my favourites at all not all of them are time wasting but many are only few airdrops are worth doing .Another thing about airdrops is that not all airdrops pay so I prepare because bounties are far worthy and better than most airdrops campaign.
Most of us here think the same way, airdrops is just a waste of time, even if you participate in every airdrop it is impossible to receive a decent amount from it. They just require their participants to join their telegram or provide email such as that.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 11, 2020, 03:20:28 PM
Great list.

But real question is how many of this exchanges conveniently lost their funds because of tax purposes or simply because they shady?
Any simply exit scammed leaving poor noobs without funds.
One of them was actually hacked, but some exchanged an Exit scam and blamed the hacker. And those are the small exchanges in this market, if all of them were hacked then I think exchange is not safe enough for us to use and hold cryptocurrency there.
It is not that exchange is not safe, using an exchange is still safe. However, it is not safe to store your funds in exchange which is always the reminder of many trusted users here. And you should only use popular exchanges to avoid gimmicks such as exit scams that you have mentioned.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Crypto Via SMS is Now Available in Venezuela on: April 11, 2020, 02:56:29 PM
There is already the same topic created a few minutes before you created your thread,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239655.0

And it was explained by @joniboini that you are not the one who's sending the transaction but rather asking for some service provider to send it for you via SMS. You are basically using a 3rd party when it comes to this topic.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 11, 2020, 01:59:51 PM
What if BTC never reaches all time high?

If ever that BTC will never reach an all-time high, there are other times that it might reach a new one. But you know, I don't think that it will happen, as we all know, over the past years, bitcoin continues to increase its price. There are ups and downs, but it is certain that its price movement is going up.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong BTC Adress, copied from Binance's Dashboard on: April 11, 2020, 01:02:12 PM
1. Install anti-virus software to scan/kill Trojan and other viruses as soon as possible;
2. Disable plug-in/extensions for your browser, trading bot or third-party APP and uninstall unknown software on your computer;
3. Change the password for your devices and accounts;
4. In a critically dangerous situation you should format your hard drive and reinstall the OS (operating system) on your computer (If you are not sure how to do this, seek professional assistance);
5. Consider seeking help from an information security expert to determine how to achieve the best possible level of security;
As you have said, you already formatted your computer and you are done scanning for malware and detected nothing, right?
But have you followed their instructions regarding your extensions? It seems that it is the problem that you are looking for. It is safe to assume that you should remove those extensions to be safe.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 11, 2020, 12:10:20 PM
The exchange does matter because it creates the volume of that coin. A good exchange means that the coin is serious with what they are working with. Unlike the other coins that lists their coin everywhere and mostly unpopular exchanges, they just want to get rid of it as much as they can because they don't want investors to be the first one to dump it off and that's the main agenda of the developers. But, if they are serious and looking long term for the coin, they'll create a good volume through listing to a good exchange.

I don't agree. I think that a good project doesn't have to be listed on a good exchange (I guess that by a good exchange you mean Binance). I think it's better for a team to focus on the development and not on the listing. It's better to pay more money for a good developer than for a listing on Binance. And if you create a good project, then it will be listed on Binance sooner or later, and without paying the listing fee.
I think that too much focus in crypto is on listing on Binance and other "good" exchanges. More focus should be on having a good idea for a project and a good team that will support the project.
Well, I agree with @batang_bitcoin, I think what he meant by a good exchange means that it should be listed in an exchange where it is most likely used by a large number of users. It has a positive effect wherein it has more potential to be invested by large investors.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 05:25:02 AM

I want you to share your experience working with this BM as regards the rules and task, do you equally think he should review his rules? I hope he sees this and read it. He is a good manager though who never fails to resolve issues and very detailed.

I don't have any experience yet working with this bounty manager, but I am not new to the rules the same as he is implementing with the campaigns he handles. If his campaign is always succeeding and avoids bounty cheaters, then there is no point to review his rules.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 11, 2020, 04:03:05 AM
Betting double after you lose has a higher risk, though, your chances may be the same but if you double your bet just because you lose, it only shows that you are rushing into things or your decision. You're already losing your control, it also proves that you are now chasing your losses which is not a good mindset when you are gambling.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: April 11, 2020, 03:09:49 AM
I am using eth and xrp. Since I am using a wallet that I can send directly these cryptocurrencies to the gambling site that I currently use. The transaction fees are also low and it is much faster than using bitcoin.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 11, 2020, 02:30:57 AM
This pandemic showed the true intentions and concern of a lot of businesses among their employees. Here in our country there are a few businesses and companies who had paid their employees with a month's worth of salary even without their employees going to work. Sadly, these casinos are earning a lot of money through their employees' effort failed to extend their help during the pandemic.
There are some casino company who is showing there true color during this time of pandemic. There are many reports that their employees doesn't receive payments and assistance while the lockdown is still occurring. It is really sad because most of them have no more any other sources of food and money in order to survive. The management of casinos should also focus on helping their workers.

not all casino are earning good and also offline casinos and gambling places are the one that is totally affected with it . so dont put all the blame on them guys  . only online casinos are now earning good so far so obviously these are the ones that provide donations for thier workers  but i forgot that its online anyway , so workers can still safely work from thier own home except to those who need to report for the casinos actual offices to do paper works and stuff like that that isnt possible to do online
But even if you say that gambling houses are totally affected by this lockdown, they should still extend their hands to their employees. It is their responsibility as employers to show their concern and willingness to help their employees that is working hard everyday for their business.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 10, 2020, 11:50:34 AM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
I think it's a no, even if my mind says that I am willing to stop gambling, I know to myself that gambling is something that I can't easily stop any time. I cannot call myself an addicted gambler, but the only reason I can see is that I made it as my habit and gambling is the activity that I enjoy myself, so why would I stop.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 10, 2020, 06:16:18 AM
i've joined one of his bounty that hes handling and it was pretty great to less scam because of escrow but some of the escrow bounties i've been their tokens are not tradable or something its almost useless.
Well, not because the tokens is being held by a trusted user/bounty manager or an escrow means that it is already successful and can be trade after the campaign. It only shows that this escrow service is indeed good but it doesn't guarantee that the token you will received will have a value after the campaign.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 10, 2020, 05:46:30 AM
Of course, crypto news have a big part in this industry. So if ever that there is a news that circulates throughout the internet (whether if it is in social media, articles, etc.) especially FUD or FOMO it actually gives a huge effect in the market.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 09, 2020, 01:46:23 PM
We should not expect that all sports activities are going to start in a month.
There will be needed more time in order to let teams get trained and be on fit again.
Most of the teams cannot train their players right now and this will have a negative effect ot their performance.

You are right on that, but I am sure if the seasons resume we will see some tight schedules with games almost every three days. Honestly I doubt the national leagues will care much about if the players are fit or not. If there is a certain timeframe in which the season could be finished the games will be played. But you are right, it will take some more weeks until we can think about resuming the leagues.

I'd rather expect the season will be suspended because until now there is no certainly yet, corona virus is still staying and even longer more people are infected, what makes the games or any league to be successful are the crowd, without them, sports can't generate income.

Think of the fans also, not only the players.
The possibility for that to happen is high. Since our issue with this pandemic is still on high alert, and no one nor the government can tell when this issue will end. Since the priority is for everyone to stay in their home and we practice social distancing, expecting a huge crowd is impossible, in short, sports can't proceed.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here succeeded a friend to play online gambling now that casino are close on: April 09, 2020, 12:51:49 PM
I did, but that friend that I have referred to play online gambling stop immediately. Aside from his issue regarding the fees when transferring funds, he is looking for the vibes. He also mentioned that playing online is really different and he only feels alone while playing which is what he doesn't want to.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 09, 2020, 12:18:00 PM
This might be the right time, but I think it still depends on the gambler because even if this lockdown affects everything including sports, they can still do other gambling activities.
This lockdown may be used as their chance to at least lessen or totally recover from their addiction, it is all about their choice and their willingness to forget their gambling activity.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: April 09, 2020, 11:30:50 AM
Under any circumstances, only a conscious choice of the right path can help a person get out of a game addiction.
After all, addiction is a repeated reflex reaction worked out to be automatic.
Need willpower and a strong desire to get rid of the automatisms that were worked out to the ideal.
New neural pathways set off very slowly, so awareness and control are needed.
I do agree,
It is about their own choice if they really want to recover. There is no other way or no one can help them but only themselves. Aside from that is their realization to go back into the right path. This is their only way to get out of being addicted to gambling.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 09, 2020, 10:49:56 AM
Since almost all casinos and other gambling places are closed due to coronavirus threats, we cannot go to those places and we cannot gamble. The only thing we can do right now is to gamble online.

I know some of the gamblers here are already bored getting stuck inside our houses. Some people here prefer going to casinos than playing online. Even sports are postponed so we cannot do sports betting. So I have a question for everyone, especially those who often go to casinos.

After lockdown or quarantine or after this virus ends, will you go to casino places immediately or will you wait for some days before going?

Of course not! That was a bad idea if you'll rush onto casino and play like you've missed it so much as if it was the only thing that satisfies you. There are a lot of alternative than going to a real-life casino and can still have the same game and same real fiat betting. It is too risky even if they say the pandemic has already been fully-eradicated, as the casinos are too crowded and the COVID is an invisible enemy. Better take another 3 to 6 months of isolation against going to gambling and casinos, and as a better precautionary measure.
No, it is not a bad idea if an individual will rush in the casino to play immediately. If it was announced by the WHO or those people who're fighting in the frontlines that the pandemic has been eradicated, then it is safe to play in the casinos. However, it is also not a bad idea to take more time of isolation just to be safe as you have said.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 09, 2020, 10:18:13 AM
the answer is always simple, do other mediums.
You are right, the answer is quite simple and clear enough. We all know there are many other alternatives, and I think the most appropriate alternative is playing online gambling. The activity will be the same, the games seem relatively the same. So, the addicts will still enjoy gambling games almost like they play in physical gambling places.
It is true, there are so many alternatives that they can do but the most efficient way for them is to play online gambling. Though it might be different from the vibe they feel when they are inside the gambling house but the activity is indeed the same.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 09, 2020, 09:03:00 AM
as far as I know when you use borrowed money to gamble it will only make you more stressed when you experience losses and failures when gambling, it's better to use money that is really not very used so that when you lose then if you lose your assets won't be too frustrated.
Indeed. We just force ourselves too much if we gamble with borrowed money. What for? There is no guarantee to win big prizes with borrowed money. We must remember that gambling isn't an investment, it is more likely a luck game. As it is luck-based, it is better to play with what we can afford. Borrowing money will be too risky, on the next attempts we may get more losses. Just stop playing when no money for gambling anymore.
It would be more worth for a borrowed money to be invested rather than on using it on gambling.Its true that it isnt worth the risk because gambling cant give out guarantees for you to win for you to be able to repay the loan you have taken.So its just totally dumb if you do consider out this option just for you to play.. Gambling is for entertainment and this had been said for a million times imho..
but people do treat the other way around and having false hopes that they can make themselves hell of a rich guy when they do hit up a jackpot which is almost nearly impossible.
It is true since if the borrowed money will be used in gambling, it is something that you spend the money without the guarantee of return and the most difficult fact is that you can lose it in an instant. Compared to investing it that is much better where its result will depend on how and where you invested that money.
