I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.
I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.
We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to wrecking and regretting.
At least you get experience and lessons from this, not only because you see other people can make money from a new listed coin and finally you want to try it and end up not according to what you want. Indeed everyone has their choice to invest in the top coin coins or invest in new coins and each of them certainly has its own risks. |

I have a very good intuition in the other direction.
If I buy something, then it falls in price. If I sell, it grows almost immediately. Am I following the crowd and losing, or are I being harassed (curse)?

That is something that often happens to all of us, of course many people who have experienced it. Hi all! I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x. Thank you for your comments  . I think by looking at the development team at the ICO project that gave you the coins from doing the bounty and what next steps they will take, and don't be greedy to get huge profits, I will personally choose to sell the coins that I have when I have the profit or what I have spent is at least smaller than what I got. |

I was once an investor had few gains to some ICO/crowdsale but made many losses so I decided to stop participating in ICO instead I do bounties and buy it thru exchanges from bounty hunters dumping it.
I know for a fact that most of you know this situation and are guilty of it, price tends to tank due to bounty hunters selling their share of tokens for cheap. I think its better to pay hunters in eth or other alts rather than risking the price of their token or coin in that way they could also help their investors and boost confidence to their future and their project. Well for me a falling price is a mark of a failing project "ICO's"
We know that bounty hunters often sell tokens they get from bounties because they don't want to wait too long and we know the first token distribution is for investors and most investors also choose to sell it, when the token reaches the bounty hunters the price is even lower.
