Jetwin - You have taken preemptive measures to prevent bonus abuse which is understandable. In the case of cash post up books, the book will boot a person that they feel is making steam plays or a sharp. With bitcoins this is much tougher to do when a person remains anonymous. If you feel that a person is making steam plays, will you confiscate winnings or ban the account and pay the player?

Steam plays are somewhat open to interpretation. If you boot a player it's your own interpretation. If you confiscate winnings of your interpretation it's a dangerous precedent that you are setting.

Thanks for checking in Jetwin.

Would anyone else like to contribute thoughts before a change in rating is made on Jetwin?
3603  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 25, 2014, 07:09:21 AM
Is anyone playing at Jetwin?

I am regularly playing at jetwin. Together with nitrogen they are my favorite books. Payouts are faster at nitrogen, but jetwin has some markets I can’t find anywhere else.
I wish that Jetwin would make some changes to their rules. This was my original problem with Jetwin. They stated that they would change the anonymity rule but they haven't as of yet.

Thanks

The site looks really good. There are lots of offers on the NBA including quarters and halves. Why no handicap full game for the Hou/Char NBA game?
3605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 24, 2014, 06:33:15 AM
BetVIP- I signed up with you. Your deposits are instant but how do I get the 100% bonus?

Totals have to go 8.5 or 9 but shouldn't the rules mention games must go 5 innings, 4.5 if the home team is winning.

Quote
Baseball games are official after 9 innings of play or 8.5 innings if the home team is leading.
Abandoned Matches:

All bets will be void (no action) on matches that are abandoned before the full nine innings have been completed (eight if the home team is winning)

NHL games go 60 minutes, not 70.
Quote
Hockey

All bets are determined at the end of a scheduled 70 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This does not include extra time or time allocated for a penalty stroke shootout.

What's with 48 hours? Never heard of this except in playoff events.
Quote
If an event is suspended, abandoned or postponed more than 48 hours after the scheduled commencement time, then all bets on that event shall be void

I've never seen this before for the NFL.
Quote
All bets will be void (no action) on matches that are postponed unless the game is played within the same NFL weekly schedule (Thursday – Wednesday)

I forgot, BetVIP has a 100% bonus with a 3x roll. That has trouble written all over it.
3609  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: March 24, 2014, 12:08:57 AM
Any books offering 100% bonus? If so, what is the rollover?
I think Cloudbet is the only one even though it's released slowly. Are you still having problems with Cloudbet or is everything fine now?

Nitrogen Sports raised to "A-". Very strong player support. They have had no problems with withdrawals. Deposits and withdrawals are instant.

BTCSportsmatch raised to a "C" : Credible players say that this is a must have book for your arsenal. It still can't be overlooked that they did stiff a player 8 BTC when their sports book was in operation. Another negative is that when a player makes an offer, they may get a different price.

I have really liked what Coinbet is doing. Their interface and offerings are great. Please post recent positive and negative experiences with Coinbet. It helps the community as a whole and the ratings with reflect this feed back.

Surely you must have done some research on these sites to be able to offer reviews for each one.  Are you personally willing to put your own reputation on the line in saying Coinbet pays out to its customers and treats them fairly?  Did your research miss that they had a data processing license even when they posted in a thread awhile ago?  Please tell me your credentials, sir, so I can feel better about everything.  Because as it stands, I feel like I'm getting the runaround. And that sinking pit in your stomach telling you something is wrong...yeah, it's not going away.   I was born at night, that's true.  But it wasn't last night.

I'm not saying that my opinion is better than anyone else and my experience is only that of one person. Poster experience and feedback play the biggest part of the ratings. I read the threads of each book and have played at all of the bitcoin sports books rated "D" or higher.

My background is that I started playing with offshore sports books in 2002. I'd guess 95% are located in Costa Rica and the other 5% in Curacao or Panama. I've owned two websites that dealt solely with cash post up sports books. I sold because of the US laws.

With Coinbet, I've taken many withdrawals. At first I was slow paid and then they became immediate after they got the kinks out. I've had  telephone conversations with Coinbet, many email and PM correspondences. I feel as though they are the book that is most receptive to poster suggestion and input. I originally opened up Coinbet as a "C". Coinbet got very strong poster support and they were moved up to a "B".

If something is going on with coinbet, please share. We need input from all. I will contact them if anyone has concerns. Thanks

Can anyone direct me to where I can view Coinbet and Nitrogen gaming licenses?  I'm interested in verifying these licenses, owner names, legalities. I never received answers to any of my questions in e-mails, nor do I see anything on this forum page that would indicate anything other than 'promises of things to come in the future' or 'we should have this in 48-72 hrs'.  I am tired of these companies not answering questions directly and  appropriately, but instead with obvious vague and ambiguous promises.  I thank anyone, especially Coinbet.cc, if they can provide me with how to proceed in personally viewing all legal licenses and information associated with them.

Regards.
golfpro-There are no gaming licenses in Costa Rica for sports books. Most of the owners of the bitcoin books stay anonymous. Both BTCSportmatch and Anonibet opened in 2011 and both are anonymous. Anonibet is the best of all the Bitcoin books. Nitrogen and Coinbet are solid.

Here's an email from Cloudbet that I received a little while ago.

Hi there,

We are currently experiencing some delays in processing of bitcoin deposits. This is because we rely on a third party service that is currently experiencing some downtime.

Any bitcoin deposits you have made that have not yet been credited to your account will be properly credited in the next few hours. We are also switching to a new in-house system, so you will not experience these types of issues in the future.

Withdrawals are unaffected and can be requested at any time and processed instantly.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please do not hesitate to contact our support team at any time if you have any questions or issues.

Best regards,

Coinbet- I apololgize for sticking my nose in your thread but there is one nice feature that hasn't been mentioned. Coinbet has the lowest hold of all the bitcoin books. After that it is NitrogenSports. Coinbet is a little over -106 and Nitrogen -107. I really should talk decimals and percentages but that confuses us Americans.  Grin

Bitbook was -105, then went higher and went under. Casinobitcoin went from -107 to -109. If you are going to gamble any type of volume the hold outweighs the bonus in general unless the bonuses are insane. Those are the StakeBTC's of the world and don't last long.

Hi Goxcraft,

Unhappy with poor service from other providers? Why not try our professional sportsbook, BetVIP.com? We'll give you a 100% first deposit bonus with only 3x rollover,

Kind regards,
BetVIP

Your bonus offer shows your sportsbook is not "professional".

Because it's generous...? It's a launch promotion - we have a marketing budget Smiley

Kind regards,
BetVIP Support
I'm playing with you for the NCAA tournament to see how it goes.

BetVip- Thank you for making me aware of Bitcoinlivebets. They are having major problems with grading and payouts. They are dropped to "D-".

Others, please make me aware of situations that I have overlooked as BetVIP did. I try to read the threads from each book daily but I did make a big mistake with Bitcoinlivebets.

With BTCSportsmatch, if someone is in contact with the owner it would be appreciated to ask him to jump in the thread to give his side of the 8 BTC no pay.

Bitcoinlivebets

Guys from Germany are absolutely green; they know nothing about gambling business. Their site was an arbers’ paradise.  Sure bets profit ran up to 20% and they were brave enough to accept bets of BTC 30 and more on such events! Each could get a no-risk profit of BTC 6 from one single bet.  And of course they ran out of money…

They made up some kind of mythical statistics and are selling their company’s shares, being the only buyers most probably. A reasonable person, even being deadly drunk, will never throw his money in that way!

They borrowed money and in 2 months paid off debts to their users, good guys! They managed to find more money to change their odds data provider. They are behaving like small children crying all around the forum – that soon all will be fine with both withdrawals and software – not understanding that to integrate new Feed qualitatively, having 2 IT persons as a maximum it is a 3-4 months task for pre-live bets and plus the same time for in-play.

In addition, they don’t see again that their site is full of sure bets and, as a result, abounds in arbitragers. Odds monitoring service is a rather expensive thing – they definitely cannot afford that.

I’ll say nothing about Bitcoinlivebets’ interface, it’s just porn!!!

Peeps, how could you rate Bitcoinlivebets as C-?

Bitcoinlivebets has maximum 4-6 months left; it’s just a death agony!

Bicoinlivebets - prove me that I am wrong! If you show me that you owe at least BTC 50 I will apologize and take my words away.

They started to place ad banners in their website to earn money – what a joke bookie!

They included some more languages that actually must be called Google translated Monkey Languages! Would better they not….

How couldn’t people notice the obvious, hey Peeps?!

I rated Bitcoinlivebets an "F" until they caught up with their payments and they received poster support. The poster's opinions mean a lot in the ratings. If Bitcoinlivebets starts having problems again, they will have a grade drop.

The reason that I haven't rated your book yet is that some payout history is needed. You seem as though you know what you are doing but automated grading and speed of payments is very important.
