3621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Dapp ecosystems in the future? on: September 26, 2021, 03:51:24 AM
So pretty much I was thinking there are many projects that people can build on (Ethereum, Cardano, Elrond, etc etc). What are the chances we will see in the future multiple projects surviving and being built on?

Yeah, I think this could be the trend in the future. I mean crypto is evolving, so we might see projects collaborating and making multi layer dapps to cope up with the demand.

I'm thinking long term around 5-10 years +, do you think it'll be only 1 successful dapp ecosystem project or many?

I'm seeing that it will happen much earlier than that. For sure those projects are thinking ahead. And we are a niche, the people around knows each other very much and it's not that hard to work together to produce one successful dapp ecosystem in maybe two years.
3622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: September 26, 2021, 03:19:49 AM
JP Morgan/Jamie Dimon only wants to buy all of those cheap bitcoins that will listen to his advice.

If they're even accumulating for the past years and stopping calling what they've used to call bitcoin then people shouldn't listen and just keep their bitcoins.

Just keep it and if someone wants to buy ethereum, buy it with your money and don't dump bitcoins for it.

I'm not going to be surprised if JP Morgan is buying in this dip again, that's why Jamie Dimon resurfaces and claim that he doesn't own Bitcoin and create another FUD. But behind our backs, his son is into BTC. Total contradictory of father-son as regards to their investment.

In any case there is no shift of investors fund, when Bitcoin dumps everyone bleeds and that case still remain up to this moment. The fact that Bitcoin is the prime mover in this market already says it all.
3623  Other / Off-topic / Re: GGG will have a fight this year! (BOXING) on: September 26, 2021, 02:36:43 AM
It's already confirmed that he will fight Murata I think the title should be changed now and put the name of the challenger which is Murata, Murata's name doesn't ring a bell checking his record it is good but not enough to match GGG record.
Golovkin is not getting good fights now compared to Canelo, GGG's last fight was against Szeremeta and it became an easy fight for GGG os he on for retirement that his promoter is not giving him top fights anymore, he's still strong and people want to see a trilogy against Canelo, this is a fight that he should prepare, there's a possibility that it will happen.

Perhaps the middleweight division is not laden with talents as compare to 168 lbs wherein Canelo has a lot of good challengers. As far as I know, the only good name in 160 lbs is one of the Charlo brothers, so hopefully we might see a unification bout between him and GGG. However, Murata although not a household name is a good boxer as well. And it seems that GGG will travel to Japan to bring the fight to Murata's hometown? So let's see how good GGG is against fighting in "unruly" crowd.
3624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: September 26, 2021, 02:03:39 AM
Good win by Usyk, his corner and the strategy in this fight is perfect.

Joshua just stand there, no head movement that's why Usyk was able to slip that left hand that do the damage throughout the rest of the fight. On the other hand, Usyk was doing a lot of feints and head movement that confuses Joshua that's why he can't pull that one punch that could have change the fight. Maybe Joshua doesn't want to engage anymore after the Ruiz fight that's why he is very cautious in this fight and looks settled exchanging in the middle but it was all Usyk.
3625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 26, 2021, 01:41:21 AM
I wouldnt bet on Murray if i knew he was gone a win. He is not close to his prime at all. Hurkacz can go really far im this tournament maybe even win it. Rune has a really hard challenge and will take something big from him to win against Carreno Busta.
Carreno Busta already won in three sets against Rune and will be facing Monfils in the semifinals.
I like Carreno Busta chances against Monfils. So Murray lost, it is expected already, but it good to see him at least winning in this tournament and progressing, but it's obvious that he is no longer on his prime.
I'm expecting the two top seeds to meet in the finals, Hurkacz vs Carreno Busta.

In a head-to-head, Monfils has won 3 times whereas Carreno Busta has won 2 times. I think even this time Monfils will win.  Monfils has been on the scene since 2004 compared to Busta starting his career in 2009. So Monfils definitely has the experience needed and though he is aged than Busta, but I feel like he will win. And Murray has left his prime time way before and now maybe he's just playing for fun. I would have liked it if he had won some more tournaments but his time is nearing very fast.

I'm sorry mate, but it seems that you are off with your prediction, in the US Open you said that Djokovic will win against Medvedev, when everyone of us thinking that Medvedev will have a fighting chance. And again, Carreno Busta prevails over Monfils in straight sets.

And as I have predicted, it will be Hurkacz vs Carreno Busta in the finals in this tournament. The odds are very close though, hard to see who will win, but it's better to go for a handicap here, maybe a over will be a good one as this might goes to three sets.
3626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 25, 2021, 07:49:37 AM
Everyone in social media is now talking about the face off event and how crisp and sharp Canelo Alvarez looked and that push was fun to watch as Caleb Plant did not expect that coming and then the shots that were landed looked good and if Canelo Alvarez can land easily against Caleb Plant then he will be able to hit him in the fight as well without much effort and that is what the talk is all about in social media and it has hyped up the event Grin.

This is something that we don't like to see we don't want punches flying in the face-off, it's meant to hype the event but never for punches to fly
the worst thing that can happen is a postponement of the highly anticipated fight, I wonder what would happen if Canelo hit Plant's face and had a deep cut, we'll have two more months of postponement, and this is a big blow to promoters.

For the record though, it was Caleb that was aggressive in the face off, he threw the first punch, and Canelo just reacted, and he punch with open fist. So if there's someone to blame here it will be Caleb. In any case, judging by the reaction of boxing posters here, it created more hype, majority are waiting for the betting line to open.

As for the cut, those are fighters, they are used to getting gashes in the face, even at sparring they will get than kind of facial injury. So that's nothing new and I doubt that there will be any postponement because of that gash in Caleb's face.

Caleb was disrespectful, even before they met, he was already trash-talking Canelo and accused of using enhancement drugs, so he deserves and gets what he is looking for. The fight night will be more exciting IMO, what they did is more than enough to hype this fight even more.

The line will be open soon, so there's nothing to worry about as we already have an idea of a possible betting line, of course, Canelo will always be a heavy favorite to win this fight, just like in his past fights.

It will definitely back fire on him with they finally enter the boxing ring. All those accusations and trash talking are now gone, and only the two of them are inside and no one can help Caleb. So it will be more exciting to see if Caleb can back up his trash talk, otherwise he will be the next victim of Canelo and there's no one that can stop him from unifying all the belts in 168 lbs division.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 25, 2021, 03:37:12 AM
So Donaire has already found an opponent in Gaballo. I was expecting Donaire and Casimero to meet after Casimero defeated Rigondeaux    with a split decision. But Donaire has already settled with a good fighter but with less caliber than Casimero. Perhaps Casimero would be facing Naoya next.

Gaballo looks like a boxer, undefeated, and in good shape but still very young in experience compared to the veteran Donaire.

They have to face their mandatory first and win their respective fight before we can see them in the ring. That's usually happen in mandatory fight, the opponents are obviously that in the caliber of the champion. But it is what it is, they need to settle it down.

Gaballo is an up and coming boxing from the Philippines, thus he will be facing one of the legends in the Philippine boxing in Donaire. But I give the edge to Nonito because of his boxing IQ and his experience.
3628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 25, 2021, 03:09:20 AM
Has anyone watched the J&T Banka Ostrava Open? it doesn't seem so festive, even though I saw there are some famous women like Sakarri and Martincova where she can meet on quarter-final today.
Martincova has won on 16 rounds vs Pavlyuchenkova while Sakarri has won vs Ostapenko on 16 rounds yesterday. I think Sakari will win the match and going to the semifinal.

I watched the game between Sakkari and Ostapenko and Sakkari destroyed Ostpenko in straight 6-2 6-4. For me Sakkari looks really good in this tournament and i think she can even win it if she continues to play like this. Should be an easy win against Martincova in todays match

Yeah, lots of potential on Sakkari.

Lost my parlay bet on the Metz Open, and regarding Andy Murray march on this tournament, it has ended as he lost to the top seed Hurkacz in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3. So Hurkacz will be facing Gojowczyk in the quarterfinals. Then Carreno-Busta vs Rune on the other hand. I bet both top seeds are going to win in 3 sets.

3629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 25, 2021, 02:36:10 AM

~snip~

~snip~

So eventually, Casimero will have no options, unless he wanted to be strip of his belt by WBO. And this is a good fight for Casimero specially if he knocks out Butler or win in a good fashion.

Perhaps this is really a good opportunity for him to have a potential good match, but he shouldn't put his confidence beyond limits. We aren't sure if Butler would be beatin by him, since this was also a strong fighter though he got a strong foundation being a boxer but preparation is the most keys in order to win over his opponent. Every barriers should he observed before anything else will negatively exist.

I don't think that Casimero will be over confident against Butler. For sure his team knows that every fight is very important for him and should be treated with 100% training and dedication and hard work. They are now on the top and they doesn't need to make one mistake that will be very costly for his career. On the other hand, Butler is also thinking that he has a chance to beat the champ in Casimero, that's why in paper it looks like Casimero will have the advantage. But when they face in the ring it will be different.
3630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin Ban false alarm on: September 25, 2021, 01:55:19 AM
It's not a false alarm, they have been banning crypto since 2013, LOL.

So why are investors still affected by this news? I haven't check the price, but today it is $42,000-$43,000. We are still above or at least in the average for this month. So I guess the drop will be temporary. On the contrary, if history repeats itself, this kind of statement from China will fuel another bull run.
3631  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: US Department of Treasury takes action against Russian Exchange on: September 24, 2021, 08:32:57 AM
Flexing their muscles to who?

They can't just go to Russian and bring it down, it's very different. So I guess this sanction won't be that effective and I'm sure that the Suex exchange will just continue to run it's business and probably laughing at US DoT regarding the issuance of this sanctions. And as you have said, Russian government will not even lift a finger here regarding the attempt of the US.
3632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: September 24, 2021, 07:38:43 AM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency prices have jumped today with ethereum rival cardano making a huge leap higher—even after Coinbase revealed an ethereum surprise last week.

The bitcoin price remains off the closely-watched $50,000 per bitcoin level but ethereum has climbed back over the $3,000 mark after dipping under it earlier today.

Now, as cardano and solana make double-digit gains and outpace other cryptocurrencies, famed investment strategist Lyn Alden has predicted bitcoin will hit $100,000 and ethereum will reach $5,000 as soon as next year.

Reference
Looking at the current state of the crypto market, it is very difficult to say for sure what will happen in the next year. The odds are almost the same for both a decline and an increase with a slightly higher probability of a fall. Although some experts predict the growth of bitcoin and Ethereum is very large in the future. Considering the current bitcoin price is close to $42,000 and the Ethereum price is $2900. However, how and when the price of bitcoin and Ethereum will reach such high predictions is still uncertain.

cryptocurrencies are in a dilemma after several countries refuse to adopt bitcoin. as a result of this incident the market price slightly decreased sharply from $52k to $42k. In cases like this, it is rather difficult to predict future market prices, will bitcoin stay at $42k and pump again or continue to fall in price. a little worried to decide how to predict the future.

LOL, what do you mean several countries refusing to adopt bitcoin. If they don't adopt that will be fine, but we have El Salvador who legalized it and then probably Paraguay will be next. As I have said, adoption would come definitely, the main thing is that there should be big online stores that will come first, not countries because that's how bitcoin has been designed, to be used a micro-payment scheme. Nevertheless, adoption is growing, just in a slow phase.

3634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: September 24, 2021, 02:30:22 AM
The odds are now out. From FortuneJack, Terence Crawford is a heavy favorite at 1.19 and Shawn Porter the underdog at 4.83. Other bookmakers and betting platforms have yet to release their odds on this particular match.

I was somehow expecting this because Terence Crawford is the undefeated and obviously the better boxer between the two. But Shawn Porter is a good boxer that will give Crawford a hard time.

https://fortunejack.com/sportsbook?page=%2Fprematch%2Fhome%2Fevent%2F8711822

I guess the odds for Crawford is a bit overvalued, I still believe that although Porter is not anymore undefeated he has the skills to upset Crawford. I will definitely bet on Shawn Porter with that odds, and I don't mind losing it, probably a KO win also in less than 6 rounds if the odds is too attractive

One thing that these sport bookies are basing are the W-L column, and obviously Crawford hasn't lost in his career, hence the very high and overvalued odds. Porter lost are all very closed and it's against top caliber opponents. One thing that Porter has is his no nonsense attitude and regardless who he is facing, he can pull an upset because of his very aggressive and suffocating style. He throws a lot of punches that might give him an edge against Crawford.
3635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 24, 2021, 02:04:34 AM
What keeps me watching is to see how far the next gen players get and if they can overcome the
top 3, like Medvedev did in the U.S open, thats interesting.

I also like the womens side too, its very open with a lot of contenders for titles.
Look at the U.S open this year, 2 names which made the womens side very exciting
playing a really entertaining brand of tennis, Raducanu and Fernandez.
In men, we can say we will have some tough competition between top ranked players like Medvedev Tsitsipas and Zverve but in women side we have some very quick changes because on this side after few top ranked players like Steffi Graf Monica Sales and Martina Hinges only lady with good record in William after her, we have nothing consistent because many are facing some different type issues so here we will not able to have some world-class lady who can stay for long time but again on men side we will be able to have two or three players will stay for very long time on court for their good game.

Women's side has always been very interesting to watch, specially now that we have two sensations, Raducanu and Fernandez. And there's no one dominating the game, as we can see there's always a different champion. Yeah, since Williams is no longer in her prime, there's no one that can replace her because so many ladies are upcoming, Osaka could be one, however, her game has deteriorated, there's no one that is consistent.

In the men's its hard to predict, you can also analyze base on the surface that they play. For instance Tsitsipas is known to be good on clay, so it's good to bet on him when he is playing his favorite surface.
3636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think now is the right time to buy Ne0? on: September 23, 2021, 08:00:41 AM
neo is a project of much better quality. neo has been on the market for a long time in a very powerful way. I think now is the right time to buy a neo. Do you think now is the right time to buy a neo?

Right really sure about it, of course, we don't know what the future brings, maybe it will have a good price. But there are a lot of competitions already and it seems that NEO wasn't able to keep up with the trend. They are one of those who are supposedly the killer Ethereum coin, but so far it didn't do anything good as others have taken the torch, BSC, ADA, and others. So invest wisely and be smart, just saying.
3637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on a recovery mode on: September 23, 2021, 06:19:17 AM
Today , In the utmost moment price was $42k which was lower than the previous day .Following the sharp sell-off on Tuesday where the bitcoin price drops with a 10% negative movement which sees the price of Bitcoin from above 52,000 to 46,000, which is a 10% sharp dropped, the entire crypto market has suffered from the crash in price. But as of Wednesday afternoon, the bitcoin market has shown some sign of recovery where the price is heading to 47k the highest since the crash . So it is more difficult to say BTC on a recovery mode .
Well Bitcoin has always go up and down and it is happen repeatedly so for me I don't think much about it's price on how it will recover or continue to drop down,I am always gathering some news or new development to be more updated, Some analysts say any short-term volatility in bitcoin price will ultimately be forgotten as the cryptocurrency rises to new all-time highs at the end of 2021. So I think bitcoin will soon recover before this year end.

That's why it's short term, because the effect is not going to last long. Just like what we've seen when the price dip to a level that is alarming, < $43,000. But it seems that a recovery is on the way, I'm seeing the price moving positive to $44,000.

As for the price at the end of the year, 6 digits is still the target, it might look gleam as this point because we are not even half of it. But a super fast rally around November-December might be enough to push the price to $100,000 so let's see.
3638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 23, 2021, 05:29:33 AM

Andy Murray has still got some zest left in him. He has fallen down to 116 in ranking after his surgery. But I think he is quite fit now and ready to take another tournament in his bag. He has won 3 grand slams and he should do pretty good in this one. I am a huge fan of this guy from the beginning. My wishes are with him.

I am also a fan of Murray and it's nice that he keeps on going and going, but I doubt he will ever win a tournament again. He can complete at a high level for 3-4 matches and that's about it; much more his body can't handle anymore.

Totally agree, while he might be fit he lacks the same level of speed and flexibility
that the top players have. He will certainly win matches but progressing to the latter
stages not to mention winning a major tournament is beyond his current capabilities.
He has done remarkably well to even compete ate the level he does after major surgery.

Yep. I think the 3-4 matches part is key. The reason he won't be likely to progress to the latter parts of a tournament is not so much that he can't compete against the best, it's more the toll it takes on his body having a succession of long matches in a short space of time. For example, to win a men's slam you need to win seven 5-set matches in a fortnight. Murray might be able to beat a top 10 player in a one-off game, but put him in a situation where he has to win 7x3=21 sets in two weeks, and it wouldn't be possible, even if every opponent was ranked outside the top 50.

Yeah, so he is one step already, after winning today, Murray will be facing Pospisil in the round of 16. So let's hope to see another good performance from him and win. It might be difficult as he progresses because of the tougher opponents. But this tournament is good to measure himself against the latter part of the tennis rankings. Hubert Hurkacz is the top seed followed by Carreno-Busta.

Yes this is the case, its obvious though that as Murray progresses the matches
will be tougher, his talent will carry him, he played some magic shots yesterday,
I said on a few occasions "oh yea, he still has it".

I have Carreno Busta and Sonego who is 5th seed against Rune.

Murray won again, vs Pospisil in two set, happy to see him progressing into this tournament and it's a good indication that maybe he is somewhat around 60%-70% of his old self. Nevertheless, still a long way to go for him to reach the semis or finals of this tournament. He will either face top seed Hubert Hurkacz, or Lucas Pouille in the quarterfinals.

Carreno-Busta won, however, Sonego was upset by Rune.
3639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 23, 2021, 12:33:58 AM
Betting odd is not available for now but it will be updated once it's out.
Also, the schedule and the venue are not yet final.

I was surprised. Just recently, Casimero apologizes to Donaire. Is that mean a sign that he just made his trashtalks for their fight to happen? But since change of plans, he apologized. Just my guess.

I'm not expecting the odds would be that gap. Gaballo is not a boxer anyone can consider as an underdog. I even think he will be the favorite.

But whatever the odds, won't bet for this match. I will rather enjoy this as an All-Filipino bout.

It's good to see that Casimero has issued an apology, maybe he realized. that it was completely wrong to talk like that to his fellow Filipino.

On the contrary, I'm expecting a huge gap in the odds. Gaballo doesn't have a good performance against Rodriguez and I would say that he is lucky to win, the decision was very controversial. There are boxing outlets that have Rodriguez winning by a huge margin.
3640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 22, 2021, 11:11:28 PM
The fight can still be made between Casimero and Inoue. That is if the champion Inoue are willing to pay for the sanction fee. Not sure how much it is or what they are going to base it (per percentage of the purse).

In any case, if they are not willing then we have to wait for the Casimero vs Inoue then. Hope that Casimero will win against his mandatory, I'm sure majority of us are not familiar with Butler. Not saying he is not good, of course we are going to favor Casimero in this fight.
