3621  Other / Politics & Society / Re: On the theory of only one god on: July 29, 2017, 05:53:47 PM
Perhaps those who invented the Bible did not have enough imagination to many gods. And maybe they knew some of the problems with religions profess many gods before the rise of Christianity. Christianity Judaism and Islam have common roots so they have one God.

First off, the bible is not invented. It was a series of true events based on what happened in the past. They are written by many people, some said they are 40 who contributed with the bible, and it is related to Jesus. In short the bible was the word of God.

We don't know really how many Gods do we have, but one thing is for sure, there are only one creator of these world the reason why, he is the only one who called God.
3622  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should exchanges be trusted anymore? on: July 29, 2017, 03:48:52 PM
Had been in a dilemma after seeing BTC-E's owner being arrested for a $4 Billion money-laundering fraud which he had been conducting, who knows that from when. First Mt Gox, then Bitfinex then Poloniex and now this, few were hacked and some had their admins only cheating their users.
Do you really think any exchanges are trustworthy anymore?

Exchanges should never be trusted in the first place. Everyone knew the dangers of using exchanges, they can easily steal your money.

You forgot to mention Cryptsy which is a huge exchange that went down a couple years ago now people are trying to sue them.

As their name suggests, they are not exchanges and not an advisable wallet to save your bitcoins.

I save all of my bitcoins into a good bitcoin wallet as suggested by some of my friends. It is known for a long time, you can say tested and proven. I don't trust exchanges because they are not a wallet for saving but a wallet to exchange your bitcoin or to trade it.
3623  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transgenders are not allowed to serve the military. on: July 29, 2017, 02:57:48 PM
I am not a follower not hater of LGBT community and also not fond of President Trump but i can say trump was right on his decision because being soldier carries a huge burden on back. Thus i think that only straight men and women arw capable of doing that. Being soldier talks about war and not democracy.

Not all soldiers go to war, some of them secure a country and it's civilians. They protect people and serve the country not kill people just because they want to, everything has a reason.

So I can say that forbidding them from joining the army has a good reason. Transgenders carry a big burden ever since they did the surgery to become a transgender, but it is not a reason to forbid them to serve the country and it's nation. They just changed their way of life, they did not changed their way of thinking.
3624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash overcome the original Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 01:52:42 PM
I had hope in bitcoin cash, but it seems like most of the mayor exchanges and wallets will only support normal bitcoin. Therefore I think normal bitcoin will be the biggest.

Bitcoin cash will just be like another alternative coin the is forked from the popular and commonly used bitcoin.

There are news that bitcoin cash don't have that decent price so other are having some predictions that it will not be a big deal. But there are big names that are pushing it through so I think it will be hitting a good place when the time comes. So I think what we are waiting is the SegWit and not the new digital currency.
3625  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: July 29, 2017, 11:59:12 AM
Yes, investing in Bitcoins is great. Bitcoin is fastest growing investment i have ever seen. You can expect a 100 percent growth within a small period of one year. And with growing popularity of Bitcoins, you can only expect a greater rate of growth.

you are right, with buying bitcoin right now, i think if we are hold until 6 month later, we can make good amount of money and its mean we can make profit from this. i can not imagine how much the price if we can be patience to hold until 5 years without doing anything, just save the bitcoin in our wallet.

Holding bitcoin is the past way of making money with bitcoin, past I mean it is the old way to earn profit from bitcoin.

If you will not be using your bitcoins, and letting your bitcoin in your wallet, I think is the laziest way to earn money, you are just going with he flow of the price. Instead of doing this, why not use these bitcoins to invest on some projects, maybe a new altcoin. As we all know, altcoin is the new way to earn profit and bitcoin.
3626  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 29, 2017, 06:32:49 AM
If USD falls BTC will replace it and the company will get more profit.

I don't know what you are talking about but USD and other fiats will never go down that easily.

Fiats or the "real currency" is the most popular of all currencies we ever known. It is used since the president of the United states used the paper money ( because currency talk as a whole as the paper money). You think digital currency will go down just like that? No, but bitcoin will be just a shadow to the fiats.
3627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When future Bitcoin is sent to an address that existed BEFORE fork what happens? on: July 29, 2017, 02:59:09 AM
When future Bitcoin is sent to an address that existed BEFORE the fork what happens?
Do old addresses not have an assigned chain or do they divide or what?

I really don't know the answer here.  I am expecting many payments in the coming days and weeks some of which have staked, aged addresses.  Hmmm.  A little insight would be awesome.  Thanks !

As you can see by the post of theymos here in the forum, you need to prepare for August 1, that means transacting bitcoin before is risky.

I think if you send your bitcoin before the fork happens there are a tendency that you're bitcoins transacted will disappear, but there are just a slight probability. In case of splitting, the bitcoin you transacted will not split because the time the bitcoin "forked" your bitcoins are being confirmed.
3628  Other / Politics & Society / Re: purpose of life on: July 29, 2017, 01:02:05 AM
Live, grow, change, reproduced, get older and finaly died.

The usual or common way of being alive. This is boring, as the other member posted, life is a gift, be happy with it and enjoy it as long as you have it.

My teacher asked me this question but did not make any statements about it because the time of class was consumed by the statements of my classmates. She just laughed on our answers like seeing a baby says his/her first words. That time I've realized I am spending my life the wrong way.
3629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 28, 2017, 02:14:14 PM
I agree with that...  Because  of the trending happening in bitcoin world wide, and you can easily to exchange it with real money,  i believe now that bitcoin is the currency in the virtual world.  We can use bitcoin to make our future become better someday and because of that you will become rich...
Right. Our world has been change yearly due to the fast changing of the technology. We can say that bitcoin is  the new era of it. And we can say that in few more year to go bitcoin will wifely spread and it will become the new ear of currency. So lets wait for it. And keep our goals with bitcoin.

A lot of people think that bitcoin will be the future currency of the future, yes it will, but it need a lots and lots and lots of years.

Bitcoin as of now is a popular digital currency and also picked as a candidate for the world currency for the future. But as it is now, it really needs a lot of development as bitcoin has still a lot of improving to be done before it becomes a real currency that will be widely use in the future.

3631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: July 27, 2017, 04:53:55 AM
I think because they're not open to accept what a Bitcoin can do to people and even in its own country, and I think leaders are afraid that if bitcoin became popular theyre not able to control paper money cause people prefer to have bitcoin as currency.

They know what a bitcoin can do to their country, don't underestimate people from the government because you don't know what they know and knew.

The fact that they don't accept bitcoin is mostly because they are making their country safe, not from bitcoin but because they're internet are in censor. There are countries where people are limited to use the internet thus can't use digital currency such as bitcoin. Let's just respect their decisions because they are the leaders of the country and they don't mean no harm for their land, they are just protecting.
3632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: July 27, 2017, 12:07:13 AM
I have read in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual currencies are assets and does not have the characteristics or what it takes to be a currency that could meet our modern economic needs. It was said that it does not have the fundamental attributes. What are your thoughts about it?

I have stumbled upon the same comment. And I have personally observed how it holds some water. But to generalize that bitcoin is just an asset would be to disregard the fact that bitcoin can be used to buy food, clothes, pay an airline ticket, a hotel booking, water and electric bills, and so on and so forth. So why is bitcoin not a currency?

Bitcoin is a currency, a digital currency. I think with bitcoin used as an asset, we can conclude that bitcoin is not used for buying or payment, but a trade of sort.

Bitcoin is being legalized in most of the countries like Japan and India and it is really hard to cope up with a currency with a high volatility rate, so I think I don't mind being it called asset than currency.
3633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell your BitcoinABC or hold on to it? on: July 26, 2017, 02:29:36 PM
I would hold and sell my bitcoin. I would hold it because I want to gain profit with the rise of the bitcoin price. And I want to sell it because if the bitcoin price grows higher, I will gain much money. In addition, I want to sell because I am in need of money and no matter how the bitcoin price is high, I will sell it to get money.

Well, I would gladly do so too, but the OP is not asking about the Bitcoin that you originally know but the BCC or the bitcoin that came from the network splitting.

I think I will not hold my BCC if I will be receiving those because I don't have any interest with that coins. I will be just selling them and convert them into bitcoin.
3634  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] PicoStash - Host and sell files for BTC/LTC/DASH on: July 25, 2017, 09:29:49 AM
There are many such sites coming up every day and being announced here in bitcointalk.
To get users, particularly buyers you will need a continuous campaign across the forum by means of bounties and signature campaign, without which the site cannot self sustain.

The reason why the Signature Campaign was made, to make the site more popular. Well, it is the obvious way to advertise a new site. But it don't need to be a continuous one, if you think you can stop the campaign, it can be stopped. But if you really need more buyers and users for your site or service, I think you will be needing to keep it a little longer.
3635  Economy / Services / Re: [1 Hero Slot Open] PicoStash.com Signature Campaign | Full Member+ on: July 25, 2017, 07:51:19 AM
Payments for this week have been sent: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/e7c459caa6263d9e9a71c3f6e622364a6c416a40d3a3af060bd095697bc9694b
One Hero Member has left so there's an open slot now.

The next payment for this campaign would be on July 31st, however I will be holding back the payments until things have stabilized. August 1st is when UASF is expected to happen, and there is a chance things could be messed up, so I will wait. Many exchanges are also closing deposits/withdraws around that time, which could cause problems for some. Should there be 2 stable forks, you would get both the normal BTC and the UASF BTC.

Received the payment. We understand the problem.
3636  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 23, 2017, 08:05:05 AM
Actually bitcoin can indeed be a good source of opinion but on the other hand we have to work, so we can have more ability and have relationships in out there, because by relying on bitcoin alone, of course we become less socialize in the environment outside ,.

How can a bitcoin, a digital currency become a good source of opinion? I don't get it.

Bitcoin is indeed a good source of extra profit or income but I think it doesn't make you unsociable or not approachable. Because earning bitcoin is not like an online game where in you can be really held in a room for a several days. Does bitcoin make you stay in your room for a several days? I think not.
3637  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 23, 2017, 12:50:14 AM
Taxation is not theft because local tax agents say that it's your duty to pay taxes. And they are in authority so you better must obey them.

I mean disobeying somebody in an authority position is just so evil that I can't even find words on it.

Disobeying is not always a bad thing. It depends upon your action why are you disobeying.

I live in a small place where in politicians are having a good life from the taxes we are paying. They get a lot of taxes from us, they start making projects but, most of the money are not going to the project but going into their hands, they are corrupting the money we give them, in short, they are living from our taxes. I am not saying all the government officials are like this, but they are taking advantage of their positions.
3638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: July 22, 2017, 11:54:05 PM
Of course, it will work, i like this idea, and it is best way to get popular the bitcoin into the world. Actually, we know all that brands names because of T.V advertisement, and bitcoin mustily need it to become brand. Because in my country, i saw only few people have listen the name of bitcoin, because of lack information. Then T.V advertise, it would be best to tell the name of Bitcoin in all over the world.

The thing is, why do we need to make an advertisement about bitcoin? What is the purpose? To know what are digital currencies? Or to attract users and cause a pump?

We all know that people are trying to spread the word about bitcoin, but it is the wrong information being spread. For example, bitcoin is a way to make someone rich, the reaction of the person you will tell about it will be worthless, they will be asking you how to earn it, you will point out these forum, and what is next? I think you can tell. And also, the more the user, the more the scammer. Also, the wrong information will continue to spread like a plague.
3639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: July 22, 2017, 09:40:01 PM
it's true that bitcoin is being used in many bad sectors but literally why would it stop. bitcoin is a kind of money and money can be spent/transfer anywhere in the world in exchange for some product or any service. bitcoin is also used by deep web and most probably for all kind of crimes. we can see the recent ransomewhere attack which also demanded Bitcoin from common users.

Anyone is thinking that bitcoin is widely used in many criminal activities because they are thinking that bitcoin can protect someone's identity making it an "anonymous " money. But the truth is, it is not.

Bitcoin may be pseudo anonymous, many people told us that these digital currency can still be tracked. And just last week, I've read an article about these. Here is the link.

3640  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 22, 2017, 02:09:49 PM
I don't think so.
Btc is very expensive. Maybe it will be recongnized as an official currency but it won't replace Dollar.
If it will replace it will take time, I mean more than 15 years.
I disagree. Bitcoins are very much popular now and soon will be leading currency of the world. They do have the potential to replace dollar forever in the developed countries. At worst, they can coexist with dollar. Bitcoins have all the properties of currency and rather more striking than paper money.

Being popular doesn't mean it will be a good currency that will be used by the world, you must also think what can these digital currency do in a country if that happens.

I agree bitcoin having a great potential on being a world currency, but replacing dollars is way too far, 15 years is not enough, also even if bitcoin  has a a good price in the future, it is still not enough. It has a great volatility that will affect a country's economy. Also, you can't expect that all people will be supporting or using bitcoin and many other digital currency.
