Now this made me curious  Grin , before that the interval between 10k accounts was also 699.208 seconds.
So somewhere between Sep 28 and October 01 we witnessed a new spike in users interested in bitcoin some ICO bumpers got new clients.

It's more likely a new wave of bots coming towards us coz many got banned last month, and it takes a bit of a time for the puppeteer to figure all out.
3642  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Moderator Banned Account on: October 12, 2018, 06:29:21 AM
The mods are not here are not fortunetellers nor have telepathic powers so post your banned account in order to get help/info. There are many accounts banned every day, it's impossible to find your case based on the info you provided.

Thanks LoyceV, quick analisys here>
All the accounts with 14 comments have the same patter and they post in the same threads listed under.
The accounts have 1 post per day in each of the threads, obviously a bumping pattern, posts are just ordinary quote-pyramid-conversations.
One or two accounts have change the posting patter in august, started posting in the bitcoin section which leads me to a clue that there is a requirement to post once a day on the ANN threads announces outside of the forum. /haven't read the ANNs and bounty threads but I doubt it there will be such requirement/
I'll take my time to go trough the other accounts with 13 posts but I think I'll find the same pattern there.

LoyceV can you list the accounts for mulitposting. I guess it won't be easy because those with 2-3 posts only delete their earlier bumps.

So there will be more privacy, now everyone can put my thread in the watchlist and see when somebody quotes me, not that I really care about it but...
Functionality is still there if someone wants to check up on your mentions (for whatever reason) if they simply search your name in the built-in search function. This is what I've been doing to check my mentions (until I found this thread).

Yeah but this takes more time and effort and it's not so effective as receiving notifications every time you been quoted. As I said before I don't really care about this issue but some can take it more serious.

Sorry, but I cannot follow you here?? What is the point of your comment?? Giving overview of the moderation of the forum without actual internal information, just assumptions and accusing me that my subject is not clear enough??
Every time I see one of your posts I'm quite fascinated from the effort you put in your them, but for me this is not really needed as they are a bit overkill in a way and not so on the subject. BTW are you using a automated translation tool coz sometimes I find some words not translated.
3646  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BPIP.org Chrome & FireFox Extension on: October 11, 2018, 07:25:44 PM
Just to note here, it's funny but the bug with the link to the archived users is actually a nice feature.
If the newbie is banned (and archived) the link leads to the homepage, so I don't need to look more if the guy is banned Cheesy
3647  Other / Off-topic / Re: Introducing the 310 BTC Bitcoin Challenge on: October 11, 2018, 07:14:38 PM
Not totally over yet, the site says > 0.31 BTC (unsolved)
But I guess the price is not that tempting as the 310 BTC...

BTW sent a request to the mods to be moved in games and rounds section because in Off-topic things get lost in the spam but..
3648  Other / Meta / Re: [Beta] @mention notification bot open for testing - now with Telegram on: October 11, 2018, 07:14:11 PM
If we keep our threads clean it won't be problem, the best solution is to receive a PM for every quote, but Piggy should request the bot to be whitelisted to remove the PM restriction. So there will be more privacy, now everyone can put my thread in the watchlist and see when somebody quotes me, not that I really care about it but...

3649  Other / Meta / Re: Do the mods have access to info like the count of the deleted posts per thread? on: October 11, 2018, 12:07:21 PM
Maybe access to this info can be one for the perks when reaching 5000 good reports, for example.

..and this is just a random ANN thread I ended up on from the patrol, reporting this good project shit...
That reminds me: those posts where the reason I started downloading all new posts. I now have almost a month of data, and can probably find many useless posts in there, but the total amount of data would be much more than I can ever report Tongue

I can bet that big part of those posts you got are probably deleted already, but surly its gonna be interesting to see the result.
I vote for the Nukebot with both hands Smiley
3651  Other / Meta / Re: Do the mods have access to info like the count of the deleted posts per thread? on: October 11, 2018, 12:00:40 PM
Nope. We don't have access to anything like that. Maybe, global moderators do, and above. I don't know.

This could be a game changer for the Altcoin section Problem.
Seeing a thread with 2000 comments and 12000 deleted posts for example will ring the bell.
I use the view count as a hint but is't not that accurate and is not a proof. Deleting posts is no proof either but gives you strong evidence for further investigation.

I guess there are many more like this, we need a new approach to deal with them.
3653  Other / Meta / Do the mods have access to info like the count of the deleted posts per thread? on: October 11, 2018, 11:50:09 AM
I'm thinking now that the 24-time-block rule for the newbies did his job to stop the autobumping bots in the beginning, they changed the tactics and use more accounts that bump the thread and delete their post history less often.

It's not a secret, but starts to be more obvious.
Many of the newbies with 2-3 posts in the ANN sections are also plagiarists, they post and delete the post after some time, but some of their post get cached on google for example.
I have reported quite a few bots with cached copy-pastes.
But since this is going to be the new bot trend as it looks like for now I think info like how many posts were deleted in a Altcoin section ( mostly in the ANN of Altcoin and Token) could be a good hint for hunting for these bots.
This info doesn't need to be publicly available but maybe the moderators can have access to it if they don't have it til now.

This looks a bit suspicious thread. I reported a few good-project-like shitposts but there are more.

There should be a monitoring tool to run it for a week for spesific thread and see statistics, how many post got deleted. It will easy our job a lot.

I contacted both of you - hope we can work something out Smiley

Parodium has a better offer I guess, so you get rid of both cards at once.
I got one card booked now, and another offers, too. I'll try to find a place for a second card, but I can't promise anything yet.

I'm also interested but I need only 1 and willing to go to 500€ shipped to Norway.

I spotted the market was going down in advance, so i tried to sell my coins with a limit sell order - making a teeny tiny profit.. hopefully.
Instead I simply executed a market sell order, incurred taker fees and sold at a lower price than intended.
It does happen Smiley

You are not the first one man, and surely not the last one.
I once bought START instead of STRAT coin. START tuned out to be a long dead pump-and-dump project, so I lost some hundreds of $.
I left the day trading, too much stress for nothing, it was a life-lesson, tho.

My account was banned 7 days, now it's more than 7 days but my account is still banned, what should I do? Can anyone help? Huh

as well as the pinned posts /stickies / in those sections you are about to post, because after 7 days ban then next step will be a permaban.
