They can obviously increase the contract. Of course, they can give him one more year of the contract. I think at this point we all know that it is kind of a bad decision to keep a player who is more than 38 and there is obviously some player who is going to take his place very soon.

But until that happens I think he can stay. A contract of one more year is not going to hurt too much for Chelsea. Especially since they are spending so much money and still not getting any results.

I agree with you that Chelsea have problems with the team, but still Fulham are now deservedly above them in the standings... And West Ham are on the verge of relegation zone... I think Barcelona is much better in their performance this season than last season, I'm very sure that Barcelona will have a better result in the Europa league than last season.  In last season Barcelona was not very confident of there performance,  they were just trying their best to become better.  But right now Barcelona is in good form, even if Barcelona don't end up in winning the europa league their performance will be that better than that of last season.

Messi's injury has really wrecked the game and PSG's chances of winning against Bayern .... I understand that sometimes, they'll say it ain't really necessary to have Messi and mbappe in the game,...and that the game could actually be played smoothly without them..(the absence of two good players in a team brings to zero effort) ...so it'll be very challenging for PSG cus they'll have no option than to race the fiercely-masked munich again, who's been praying for the slightest incapability to win the match.

I won't recommend Aubameyang going to MLS, he doesn't have the ability to stay relevant if he goes over there unless he's ready to retire and that would be very disappointing considering how promising his career was just few months back. I still don't understand why he left Barcelona that he fitted in properly. Even though Barcelona were prioritizing Luwadusaksi over him, still he would had stayed and his competition with Luwadusaksi would had kept him relevant.

Him returning to the premier league was just like the same mistakes Ronaldo made returning back to the premier league. Both stars would had had a better career staying in the La Liga side, their style of football is less physical and direct and more entertaining to watch. I think Aubameyang should just stay at Chelsea and try to fight for his position until he gets a better offer probably form a top league in Europe and possible, he should return back to the La Liga to finish what he started over there.

It will be too wrong for Chelsea to draw their match against  West Ham tomorrow. Chelsea will give it all they've got to beat West Ham, even though it's an away game for them. Given their standing in the Premier League and the type of new players they have acquired, Chelsea can't afford to draw three games in a row this time.

Xavi has built a strong team, I think the Barcelona management trusted him, that's why they have patient in him. And he has proven to be  Barcelona coach with a threaten squad. Manchester United improved a lot comparing to the beginning of the season and they are now 4th in EPL which is unlikely to grab, so they are left with the FA Cup and EFL title.
In the EFL Cup they will most likely qualify to the final game and they will play against Newcastle. It will be a quite hard game but feasible.
In FA Cup, there is top teams there like City and Spurs that might annoy them tho.

De Jong is able to play as a defensive midfielder, but if Xavi doesn't want to play him there then he can have Frank Kessie there.

Chelsea are aiming to extend Thiago Silva's contract more. It might be by six months or a year maybe.

He is quite old by the way. He is 38 now and he is currently the most experienced defender in the team now. I believe that Silva is still a very useful defender for Chelsea side. Silva and Badiashile are making a good duo in the lineup these days. They haven't conceded a goal with this duo these days. I think that it is always better to have at least one of their centre-backs as an experienced one. Otherwise the problems might get bigger by simple mistakes.

We will see how Juve's next game will go.
