The consistency of Barcelona's young players will again be tested by Manchester United in the UEFA European League considering United are in the best form of play so far.

Yeah Barcelona are not playing for this season alone, they will be so happy if they can win the La Liga this season, but it would be useless if they win it this season and next season they are not challenging for it again, so what Xavi is trying to do now is to build a strong and consistent team, to build back the barca of before, and winning the La Liga this season will help them do it. They can still even win a treble, they are top of La Liga, the are in in Copa del rey semi-finals and still in the Europa league. I believe it is going to end up being a good season for Barcelona, and they can continue like that.

So far from what I've seen of Barcelona, they're building from the ground up. Yes, it was Xavi Hernandez who did it when he came to Barcelona. This season is the start of their awakening and even in La Liga they have been ahead of Real Madrid until this week. But there is something that I regret, when Barcelona rose, Real Madrid did the opposite. So there is no tough competition in the standings now.

Barcelona is not only ahead of Real Madrid and gallantly on standing, they won their last 5 matches and out of that, they made 4 clean sheets, that is something anyone should be happy about but Madrid has lost two good important matches they could have at least draw even in their worst moment, that is good 6 points they have missed, had it been they draw that two matches, they would only be just 6 points instead of that 8 which I'm confident they can meet up in the remaining 18 matches, there is no way that Barcelona wouldn't lose two or draw out of that matches, only miracle can make Real Madrid get ahead of Barcelona.

Try to stay calm, we are still here and fighting to get better. I don't expect Real Madrid to fail to win any titles this season, this means we still have the chance to win La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Champions League. All titles are still available, even though in La Liga Barcelona are already 8 points ahead of us. The important thing is Barcelona's level of consistency is needed to be able to realize what the Blaugrana wants. In addition to consistency, player injuries also do not occur in the rest of the season. If these two things are far from Barcelona, then that hope can be realized in my opinion.

You're probably right about Real Madrid being unlikely to win the league this season, but 18 games to go is not a small amount. They're eight points behind Barcelona and that's a big gap. But the Champions League and Europa League are about to start and both Real Madrid and Barcelona could start to make mistakes. It seems to me that Real are more experienced in such situations. And if Barcelona start to make mistakes, Real will seize the moment. But it could also be the other way round.

Even the poll created in this thread displayed that Real Madrid are much more favorites to some people depending on how they dominated the La Liga last season. Real Madrid has no chance of winning the league I don't see such occuring.
Yep, big claps for Xavi Hernandez, he's improvement within the player's both on and of the game is what every Barcelona has wished fir themselves. I want to see Xavi Hernandez continue in this form and possibly extension of the points to fifteenth points .

Raphina need not go watch Lionel Messi and Argen Robben. He needs be himself so he wouldn't want to do twice as much as they've done for them respective club's. That's what exactly what Dembele does. With much better consistency I know they'll win the Spanish League.

There is no news about the policy taken by Real Madrid regarding transfers. The last rumor is Belingham which is in demand by Anceloti. But the news just evaporated. Actually, I am also waiting for the moment for this, because they are currently the right time to regenerate players who are getting old. Especially in the striker position. I don't really understand if they put it all in place to buy Mbaape? It became a mystery. They should be able to use this season to buy some of the players they need.

Madrid's decline in performance was well maximized by Barcelona in this regard, but it is still too early to continue to be confident now with the condition of 8 points.

They do need new players in their ranks. For example, there are some speculations about Asensio leaving the club for Arsenal at the end of his contract. If he does make the move to Arsenal, they would need to find someone to replace him. Also, it’s in my opinion that the management start looking for a replacement for Luka Modric and Toni kroos. They’re still good players; just not as good as they used to be. The replacements, if any should be of solid quality. Their situation would improve if they acquire new players and not having to rely on a certain few to score goals.
