This is really an excellent thread and I couldn't stop reading through all of it. We need more and more threads like this and if they'll come I will start to be more optimist about the possibility of the Merit rules to be really effective in the way they were thought.

I can't apply for your merit distribution since nowadays I'm more an altcoin person, and anyway I'd need 250 merits which are unachievable so I've decided I'd stop to care.
Asking for merits is the same thing as contributing by being a merit source or having a reasonable conversation a.k.a quality post, you should know why it is important to ask for reviews, somebody attempting to cheat by copy-pasting would never ask for a review.
3682  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: January 30, 2018, 01:58:47 AM
Good question, if I achieve my target in this field, there will be no fields left, there will be nothing left what so ever because my target is to end the world by a nuclear blast. go and ask the richest people in the world, ask them if they have achieved their targets, ask anybody of early Bitcoin adopters, there is no target, I'm the only one with a target, even after achieving it, I have other targets, I could never get where I want.
3683  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: January 29, 2018, 10:39:10 PM
I know there are at least 10 other posts from others suggesting the same thing, with a sticky thread, you know where to go, if you need 20 merits to rank up, you'd post that you'd need 20 merits and a review, a merit source could check that sticky thread to find a member in need of merits to rank up, first thing the source should do is to merit a request by 1 to let others know that he-she is reviewing that member's posts and they should find some other member to review.

After ranking up, you should go back to your posted request and edit your post to say ranked up. even if you are farming accounts, having somebody reading your post history would not be a good thing, that's why having members to post in a thread is a good way to find all the information such as finding which source is responsible for ranking up of which accounts.
3684  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: January 29, 2018, 09:33:46 PM
Make an sticky thread either in meta or here for anybody who needs to rank up but doesn't have enough merits, if they haven't received merits, they could request for a review by merit sources, you could then read their posts and give them merits.

Any body who feels like asking for merits is a ridiculous idea, there is no way for merit sources to read all the posts of every body, but if they could see that you are requesting for it, if you deserve it, you will get enough merits to rank up.
If you are Bitcoiner or not, you should be treated the same.

Hello everyone

We are putting final touches to our pre ico campaign

Also someone to help on signature campaign and community management

Any other useful services do PM us

PM me with your email address and Telegram and we will get back to you

UBX

Good day! I would love to translate your contents in English to Tagalog (Philippines) and finish it as soon as possible. I would like to help you penetrate my country's market and become a part of your success. Thank you very much and have a great day!
Here *dev, we have a pimp for you (a.k.a, same person who would help you to penetrate a prostitute) he wants you to penetrate their motherland for the whole country to feel your ICO inside them. unfortunately I'm *undercover pretending to be of another nationality, otherwise I could speak Tagalog and defend motherland.

* I had my cover blown by bl4nkcode, otherwise I would've been half way in sending 500 beggars their earned tokens and would've earned an honest amount of money.
Anyways, what is your ICO about? I'm at your service to do whatever you'd want in order to speed up the collecting process. I could be your *dev, because you have nothing to launch an ICO other than your desire for easy money.

Hey Potato chips, I'm still here man, don't forget about me, 1 merit given to me by you felt like I was no longer a pathetic virgin loser. I wont lol anymore because I need to act as I am a quality poster, ever since merits, eating for the man has become much harder than I thought.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: January 29, 2018, 02:13:50 AM
How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

Depends on the coin/project.  In good exchange, seldom can you buy a good coin lower than ICO price.

The ones that dip below are usually shit coins OR listed on bad exchange (or both).

Yes some get listed w/o going through ICO

If to many token are given at the airdrop phase...generaly the token price downs.
My WINSPIRAL(WSPRL) Token can only goes up because it is 100% airdrop.
Wait until you see MY ACTIVITY TOKENS a.k.a (ACY) 100% legit only moving up, because you know, I have 20.6M out of 21M total supply, totally airdropped on myself, because I am entitled to people's money, I have worked my ass off (begged for 1 Waves to issue them, had to put up with 40 bounty hunters and send them 400K, had to pay 0.001 for each transaction) so much work, that's why I want to keep and have everything for myself.
here you need to look at the team, the idea and the overall prominence of the project. popular projects attract investors after ico, their rate should not fall much, for example I can bring SirinLabs, qash. look at them and draw conclusions.
I have concluded they all are useless crap coins.

I have stopped buying ICO. The many scams. In particular those who advertise on this page. Hope Earn.com gets lucky with their ICO advertisements. If companies have to pay $ 1 per contact I think they are more serious. Maybe regulation will help. We see what happens 2018.
If you have stopped buying ICO advertised on this page, why would you advertise your own ICO? I could sell you some merits since I'm a merit source (note, I'm lying, we all know theymos doesn't want beggars rank up and occupy server storage, because he has to pay for them, like Bitcoin is not scaling by block size increase, because somebody doesn't want to pay for 10TB of storage on thousands of full nodes with every 1MB block size increase). no scam, I just hope that you could take my words for it.
3687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all these Airdrops nonsense, or are there any geniune coins on the horizon? on: January 29, 2018, 12:01:19 AM
Any idea how to spot them?
Why do you want to spot them? you are here to get some free airdrops and dump them first chance you've got even with no available exchange? you are like people opening a trading thread for their airdrop coins to get rid of them. when I received POStokens, I had them for 2 months, until they told us how to stake them by using smart contract commands, I was genuinely interested to see how would using a smart contract be like, I staked 60 and had 80-87 after a few seconds, because I had them on my ETH address for 2 months.

I sold them after seeing some of the large stake holders were doing the same thing they have always done with every coin, pump-dump.
That was my only fruitful airdrop, now I am just trolling the scammers with their E-X coins, Exrp, EBTC, EETH.
3688  Economy / Services / Re: Need help for our pre ico campaign on: January 28, 2018, 10:47:57 PM
I am an exceptional beggar, I just recently failed in a sting operation against a known terrorist organization sadly, however I could get a lol from their leader, he told me that I should earn the trust (a.k.a I should first make a few fake trades, escrow for myself and say I did it for others, not only then I could earn the trust, which he has a lot of red trust but yet considers the trust as a valid trust, after getting a few fake trust feed back, I could then earn it, right?).
I could beg for any translations google could handle, I have a long lost relationship with bounties and I know every single lowlife scammer *devs of this forum, so when I see a new face, I must say, merit is only a hard cap for shit posters ranking up, there is no stopping the same people from creating their own ICO to earn money one way or another. because we all have wives and kids to feed, more importantly, a man himself has got to eat right?

If you had any time spent on this forum, knowing how to get a scam going would be the first thing to learn. every newbie trying to launch ICO is getting offers from organized scammers.

Merits, very important for every body, lives depend on it, theymos is not launching any ICO for it, some lowlife beggar trying to jump young and naive girls is launching an ICO to collect the money for that, let me name a few please.

3689  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST] USERS THAT ARE ABUSING MERIT SYSTEM on: January 28, 2018, 10:03:38 PM
Im a bit confused about the merit rules. Are they allowed to be traded?  Also, why can you say that a post didn't deserve X merit?  Is it not in the right of the giver to choose?

Those are all honest questions so, please dont feel as though im attacking you.

They are not allowed to be sold, it is extremely frowned upon to trade merit and as you can see everyone found trading merit is getting tagged.
a.k.a TimeLord now has years of investigations to link accounts giving merits to each other.
I wanna believe that the Merit system will be a real multi-account catcher! Perhaps the real purpose of this system is to become aware of multi-accounts due to the rapidly growing user population in the forum in recent times.
a.k.a TimeLord the multi-account catcher, the first high ranking member who posted on my first thread I think, now I know that he was trying to bust me, he has been like this from the start.
Maybe theymos needs to limit the numbers of merits which could potentially be given according to their ranks?

3691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all these Airdrops nonsense, or are there any geniune coins on the horizon? on: January 27, 2018, 10:48:45 PM
Well nothing in this world is for free. Obviously if you want to get the airdrops then you have to follow their rules as well. Blaming devs for scammy airdrops is not good as most airdrop participants are not for the long term, and just want to get a quick profit.

I personally don't participate in airdrops as I think it only motivates devs to create ton of shittokens which have no use beyond pump and dump.
I had an airdrop for my colossal of a project a.k.a "activity token" which was a failure even before it started, I was free to do the airdrop, nobody stopped me from doing it, so any other lowlife beggar is also free to do the same, and they are doing it with the help of others unlike me. I was alone, I wanted to get rich fast just like everybody else, my excuse was: a man has got to eat, right?
I participated in POStoken airdrop and after 2 months sold my tokens and got $80. no other airdrops ever since. I participated for POStoken airdrop because there was no requirements other than registering in a site which was designed for the airdrop tracking, any other airdrops asking to follow and join is a scam, they want you to advertise their scam.
3692  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone trusted to distribute a bounty program payment on: January 27, 2018, 07:37:28 PM
Jamal bro, I was once a *dev myself, I know a thing or two about distributing tokens, I don't have many threads opened by myself, if you look at them, you'll find the activity token thread easily. you could send 10% first if you don't trust me.
3693  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone trusted to distribute a bounty program payment on: January 27, 2018, 07:06:14 PM
Let me earn some money man has got to eat right? if you trust me and lose, you have lost the funds and I would have no trust any where. if you trust me and I do what you have asked, you'll have somebody to trust for ever.
3694  Other / Meta / Re: Since bitcointalk is free to use, why the hate towards this new merit system? on: January 27, 2018, 07:00:17 PM
Being free is what has made it easy to abuse, now it's up to 49 (theymos's friends and their friends) to read thousands of posts every day or every week.
Now you have to live up to their standards, if you are a shill for a coin they have invested, you have quality posts. over time you'll only post what they like and you will become their bitches.
Me and my terrorist buddies will continue selling Bitcoin and buying gold to build a nuclear arsenal to end the world.
(note, do some reading, you'll find that ever since Bitcoin has dropped, gold has increased).
3695  Other / Meta / Re: NEWBIE FOREVER? on: January 27, 2018, 05:49:44 PM
Technically, you can rank up to junior member without any requirement about sMerits for ranking up but the next one which called " Member" gonna needs 10 sMerits from others, if you want to make it come true , you have to post the high-quality posts which could brings you back some sMerit for ranking up.
P/S: I really want to rank up so if you like my comment please give me some sMerits ( thanks for your supporting).

Why exactly do you want to "rank up"?
You haven't heard? a man has got to eat right?

3697  Other / Meta / Re: The reality is 99.9% members can never rank up with the new merit system. on: January 27, 2018, 05:20:50 PM
The ugliest reality, no matter how good you are posting, if somebody doesn't like you, you can never get any merits from them. if you don't have enough Bitcoins, you have no incentive to post what is considered worthy of getting merits.
If you could be an average poster and earn money, you don't need merits. but if you had to pay something in order to post with a signature, forum could have hired more moderators to moderate existing members.

They do seem to be a bit overgenerous. Aren't these donations coming up for review in the future.

btw - I've just given you a merit point - Is that suspicious, bribery or corruption. Smiley
You are not under any suspicion, for example, you could circumvent the rules and do as you like, when a lowlife beggar like me comes and posts a rhetoric joke to indirectly points out what you are doing will get his post deleted. I hope that you could enjoy your frog pond though.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do ALL Coins always move together? on: January 26, 2018, 02:27:48 PM
Trying to sell some coins with high gains to buy some that has dipped alot, but it seems they all move up and down together for the most part.  This makes it hard to sell. Is this how it normally is?  Been trading just a month now.

sometimes . it depends on the coin . there are also a factor on the price of bitcoin if the bitcoin price is rising the altcoin value increases in my own opinion. Make sure when you are buying a token you better check the website and update of specific coin
What if a specific coin and their *devs are cloning another coin? they could start buying their coins before updating their website or updating their huge community (low rank beggars getting paid to bump their thread).
You must've heard about my activity tokens, would you like to know what was needed for me to actually succeed? no support of the community, any exchanging service given enough incentive would've listed them and people would've traded them even after seeing theymos implementing merits and no such a thing as activity tokens. current situation with every coin, they have no system in place to use them, people are trading them knowing that there is nothing to use the coins on.
There was a failed ICO recently, the *devs were trying to refund investors, some idiots were buying the useless tokens, knowing the ICO had failed.
