3701  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT: bitrademarket.com on: March 23, 2018, 11:26:49 PM
beware of this site:
bitrademarket.com

they will not credit your deposit !!

As slow death mentioned, their domain registrant information is protected by whoisguard which means that they've got something to hide. That is the first warning sign. Then, you see that they claim they are an Australian-based cryptocurrency exchange. But at the bottom of the page you see their server time - which is nowhere even near Australia time.

Their site looks like it's been made by a middle school student. Everything just doesn't look right for an exchange that is supposed to be legitimate.

If you deposited anything onto the site and they haven't credited it, then unfortunately you will not get anything back. The whole site was most likely made for the purpose of ripping people off rather than actually being an exchange.

In future, always research and never use new exchanges that just popped up. Wait for someone to review it first.
3702  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payza Faces Major Money Laundering Charges in the US on: March 23, 2018, 11:22:29 PM
I used to use Payza and I thought that they were pretty strict with their KYC, compared to other payment processors such as Perfectmoney or Payeer which require absolutely nothing. So I'm a bit surprised at them getting shut down before PM, Payeer, or Advcash.

I doubt the charges have anything to do with child pornography. Rather, it's because of the fact that Payza is the preferred payment processor of choice for HYIP investors, and the HYIP industry is literally by definition a giant ponzi scheme. Also it's the fact that they're running an unlicensed money transmission service that's getting them into trouble, again, not surprising since their product is completely available to US citizens.

Payza is down atm, I really hope that nobody loses money because of this. But they might.

BTW today was the first time that I heard that Payza was connected to the Egopay scam - anyone else can deny/confirm this?
3703  Economy / Speculation / Re: The DEATH CROSS is in. How low will we go? on: March 23, 2018, 09:13:02 AM
We failed to close above the 200 day and we just got a very bad death cross, both signalling an upcoming hard sell.
We'll see $6000 real soon and i think we'll drop much lower even.

Thoughts? Why has bitcoin failed again to recover? MtGox? Governments? Criminals selling off?
Bitcoin is well above $6k which was the lowest of the low. So it has recovered, it has not failed to recover as you have suggested.

I agree, we may be seeing $6k soon but that's going to be temporary. The price should again recover to at least $8-9k if the price does hit $6k, but for now, I think it's just a short correction that will stop as soon as the $9.3k resistance is broken.

2018 was never expected to be bullish, anyways.

I mean what else do you expect coming off a year where BTC's price grew 2000%. Do you expect the exact same thing to happen? Come on, obviously there's got to be some profit takers and corrections to consolidate the price to a more reasonable level. And that's exactly what's happening right now. Nothing surprising. But the process is definitely sped up via all the new regulations coming out that is scaring the crap out of traders.
3704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer vein071315 on: March 23, 2018, 08:57:28 AM
Just because coins are moved doesn't mean that he definitely spent those coins. It could just be an exchange wallet or a hosted wallet. But the chances of him being a scammer is extremely high, he probably ditched his account yesterday after the scam.

Based on the proof OP has shown, I think it's more than likely that he is telling the truth, and vein071315 can be safely identified as a scammer and tagged unless he decides to repay OP, or respond to the thread and sort this out.

I received a PM from OP asking me for the scammer's personal info. Being a hero member doesn't mean you get any more info on users. IP address, even if admins decide to give you to you, aren't going to help much for you to trace him down. I would consider these coins gone for good.

Next time, learn your lesson and use escrow in your trades, unless it's a very trusted and active trader.

BTW, please stop bumping your thread so often. If you have got anything to add, simply click the edit button on your previous post to append it with new info.
3705  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: gramnetwork.org scamming with success on: March 23, 2018, 08:39:58 AM
Well, the site is down already. They may have already pulled the switch on this one.

People need to realise that telegram ICO doesn't have an official website. To the best of my knowledge it doesn't even have any official announcements yet. All these "TON" ICOs popping up are nothing but fakes.

There seems to be at least 2 phishing sites that have been operated, using the same layout.

The scammer's proceeds have not been moved, but if that's the correct amount scammed, that's a lot of money. Over $120k even with the current dip in crypto prices. I do hope that figure is inflated and not actually this many people got scammed.

You could try reporting to exchanges, but I doubt they'll act on it. The scammer can also trade the ETH on LBC, or via other p2p methods, in which case there is nothing we can do about it.
3706  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC-24 cryptocurrency exchange - speed, reliability, result on: March 23, 2018, 08:30:43 AM
Your exchange isn't even loading for me when I tried to look at the actual exchange by clicking on "trading". When I clicked on one more icon it's just stuck at a grey screen with no charts, no orderbooks. Also half of your site is in English and the other half is in Chinese.

That's not "speed", nor "reliability". And without that you're not going to get any "results".

What does this mean? Could you elaborate on this statement? Your email domain is gmail, that doesn't appear that professional at all.

From what I can see, this is either an unfinished product, or you're overselling your exchange by a long mile.
3707  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: *NEW* Wetalkcoins - No.1 Cryptocurrency Prices & News Aggregator on: March 23, 2018, 08:21:01 AM
BIG UPDATE GUYS:

From now on, at WeTalkCoins you can create your own Cryptocurrency Portfolio. Follow and check live price updates of your cryptocurrency investments, daily profits/losses! Always stay up to date with your cryptocurrency portfolio & never miss anything!

Check it out at:
https://www.wetalkcoins.com/portfolio

Please let us know your feedback, thanks!

I always like new options for my portfolio tracking, so this is definitely on my watchlist.

However, would there be a possibility for you guys to add support for fiat currencies so that they are also able to be added to your portfolio? Basically the ability to add an investment in USD or whatever fiat currency, instead of only coins. Same goes with gold/silver which I have investments in. Would that be possible/feasible at all to add? I imagine it's probably not that hard to track fiat/precious metal prices, they are available everywhere.

I like this site a lot, especially the design aspect. The fact that you can follow specific tags is also very intriguing to me. Good work, keep it up, and hopefully you'll give me a positive response with my question above.
3708  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cointir.com — Events and prices cryptocurrency on: March 23, 2018, 08:00:22 AM
I've been directed to the Russian version of the site, which seems to be the default.

I would honestly put English as the default or at least detect the IP of where the traffic is coming from to determine whether or not Russian or English is appropriate. If a non-Russian speaker sees a Russian site, they're less likely to actually stay on it.

The idea is good but I think most people already use coinmarketcal.com. And your site is quite similar. To distinguish yourself you really need to try to get the components on your roadmap rolled out asap.

IMO though I like your design and would definitely prefer you over coinmarketcal. The portfolio option could be popular as well, if done well. It's almost like a 'one-stop-shop'.
3709  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BESTMIXER.IO - Truly Anonymous Bitcoin Mixer! on: March 23, 2018, 07:11:34 AM
I would suggest that you actually escrow a small portion of your total available coin pool. This way, you are able to gain a lot more trust and confidence from people who actually want to use your mixer. This is something that was done previously by Bitmixcoin.

Also, I would consider to invest some money when you're getting started in advertising and designing. Right now, your site design looks mediocre at least in my opinion. I understand that you're just getting started, however.

Just wondering - will the CAE actually show you the receiving addresses just by having the sending address, or will it just tell you whether you are vulnerable or not?

Cheers
3710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARW CEX.IO CHEATING PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY on: March 22, 2018, 07:10:44 PM
Hi guys,

Just for information the deposit is now showing on the exchange. So, I would consider the matter closed with bad taste in mouth.

I would agree with you guys 60 days is alot and its an issue if you are an active trader. My confidence has definetly been shaken.

As for CEX.IO, I would say please automate ur bank transfer services or improve the process with banks.

I seriously never wanted to come and write under this section here but then it seemed a neccessity.

At least you got this deposit at the end.

Still took a long long time though and you had to write a scam accusation just to get a response from support staff from their site which is pretty absurd. CEX, I see your ads every day on youtube/google. Instead of investing all of your money and time in advertising your site, why not try to solve your current issues with fiat banking?

It's nice to see that you're trying to make changes, but clearly you've been having issues with fiat banking system for not just a few days or even weeks now. Been going on for months for both deposits and withdrawals.

Hopefully you can get your stuff together. I used to like your exchange for the fact that you could trade GH/s on an open market.
3711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinmarketCap is BIAS in Listing on: March 22, 2018, 07:52:25 AM
Coinmarketcap doesn't hold the monopoly over cryptocurrency indexing anymore. Due to the fact that they often promote scammy ICOs, a lot of people have refrained from using them as much now compared to the last few years when Coinmarketcap was pretty much the #1 and the only choice.

If you fulfill all the conditions, then really there is no reason for them to reject you. Unless your coin isn't yet listed on an exchange that is also listed on coinmarketcap?

But seeing coinmarketcap list crap tokens that hold value all the time led me to believe that their standards are lax... Apparently not.

Try to send them proof that you are already listed on other sites, hopefully that should convince them. But otherwise, wait till your project is bigger. There is no big deal being not listed on CMC for a while.
3712  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is yobit.net a scam site or not? on: March 22, 2018, 06:44:42 AM
I made this thread to find out your opinions
I would like to know your opinions about this exchange. I would like to trade here, but I have read many complaints.
What do you think? I should trade in this exchange?
All your opinions are appreciated thank you for your comments.

Yobit is a very shady site that you should not use under any circumstances.

Their support is crap, they will ignore you until the world ends. The wallets on their site is often placed in maintenance mode without any apparent reason and that seriously affects people's ability to deposit and withdraw cryptos and often will result in financial losses.

Basically, they are a shitty exchange. But still functional, just a very high risk to use them.

However, if you are being touted a yobit giveaway which you have to send money to to receive a higher amount back, it's a scam 100%. It's not even going to be the official yobit reps, it's just scammers using this trick to take your money.
3713  Economy / Speculation / Re: slowly, but surely bro!!! on: March 22, 2018, 05:44:32 AM
slowly and surely the price will reach $ 11,000 by the end of this month. Now Catch someone's eye situation, I'm very confident if this situation becomes a great opportunity to go to the moon in 2018, we've started Move on up to see the price we expect. it may be too early to talk about the moon. but, I'm very sure that it will happen this year.  Cool

It's always dangerous to try to predict the price "mooning".

What you said about the price hitting $11k by the end of the month is very possible, in fact I think so too. Once bitcoin is able to breach the $9500 resistance level, it should go on to hit that $11k target without any problems.

But this year, I think we'll see a lot more regulation news that give investors a scare. It won't matter much in the long run but people will feel inclined into panic selling in the short term. This is why I believe that this year, we're going to see prices move much less than last year. 2017's pumps probably got people way too optimistic. These sort of pumps ain't gonna happen every year, and I think this year is one of those average years for BTC without price "mooning".
3714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin marketcap touch $1 Trillion in 2018? on: March 21, 2018, 11:27:59 PM
Hey guys
My question is simple.
Will marketcap of Bitcoin hit $1 Trillion in 2018?

So you're basically asking whether or not bitcoin will rise more than sixfold within 9 months.

To me, that's a very simple answer. No.

Even last year we barely saw that kind of growth consistently throughout the year. This year, filled with new regulations due to the newfound popularity and new adopters coming into bitcoin because of the price going sky high, there isn't going to be a lot of big rallies.

Certainly not enough at least for me to set a new all time high this year, let alone triple that all time high.

I doubt even the most bullish bulls will tell you that BTC will hit $60k by the end of the year. It's just crazy stuff. It could happen, but the chances are close to zero and would mean bitcoin 60x its value over 2 years. But a trillion dollar market cap for BTC could happen by the next halving for sure when the markets have matured over new regulations.
3715  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9,500 remains the major resistance for further gains. on: March 21, 2018, 11:09:52 PM
BTC has been hovering around $9,000 for a whole day, judgng by the volumes, however, BTC is believed to effectively break $9,000 and test $9,500.

Even if price manages to unlock the area above $9,500, BTC is more likely to correct lower after rally.

Short-term trend seems clear as BTC is believed to oscillate between $8,700 and $9,100 in the coming days with support at $8,700.

When correction is completed, price holds greater chances to keep moving up as strength from bears is weakening. Window for daily traders will be opened every time price corrects lower.

Original by Kuang Ren, translated by AICoin Jami.

Full version: https://www.aicoin.net.cn/article/18038.html

Just as I expected, short term we are seeing a correction happening.

There is some strong resistance from higher levels once we got out of the $9000 ceiling yesterday. When it did break $9k, price was pretty stagnant and it was clear that it was $9300-9500 that's the new resistance.

Why that is the new resistance should be clear to anyone. That's a clear signal just before bitcoin going up to 5 figures, which has a lot to do with how traders think about the market mentally.

For now, we'll hang around the $8500 region for a few days to consolidate, imho.
3716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin preparing for a bull run?? on: March 21, 2018, 11:04:05 PM
Where does bitcoin go from here ? Will it recover? Are we out of the bear market and into the bull market ?

It will probably not be a huge rally up to a new all time high or anything like that. But yes, we are out of the bear market and is currently trying to test the $9.5k level, and if that is broken then we can safely say we will go to $10k+ in a very short amount of time.

But is that going to result in a bull run?

It sure looks unlikely with the 2 failed pushes earlier on in the year to break out. It seems clear to me that we'll encounter much more sideways consolidation rather than any major pumps this year. I'd place the ceiling at around $13k for this rally, still a pretty good profit to be made on speculation but probably not as much as last year for sure.
3717  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the price of bitcoin will go back to it's previous highest?? on: March 21, 2018, 08:20:26 PM
We have seen that the price of bitcoin has been stucked between 8k and 9kk.Sometimes,it reach 10k.But will the price of bitcoin reach it's previous highest within the end of this year?Which price are you expecting??

No, it will not.

Bitcoin has not shown the same amount of hype for it to all of a sudden double/triple in price and establish a new all time high. This year is different from last year in that we're going to be consolidating with very little room to move both upwards and downwards, and for most of the year it's just going to be boring, sideways movement.

But long term wise, all time highs will be broken for sure. It's just a matter of time.

For the previous all time high to be broken and for BTC to hit $20k, I think it'll take around 3 and a half years. Around 2020, the year I expect the markets to be the most bullish we've seen so far due to the awareness that's been built around BTC during this pump, even though it failed to reach $20k.
3718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again? on: March 21, 2018, 06:23:07 AM
Do you guys go long or still short  since Btc price reached 8800 again?
My Bags bleedet out since the big dip  and i could use some advice.
Still need to learn a lot about Trading and this Market.
It is just hard for a Virgin like me in this Bear Trend  to Survive  Huh

Since BTC broke $9000 in the past few hours, I'm quite optimistic.

Right now I'm expecting a short pullback from $9.1k to around $8.8k. This shouldn't last long and will only serve as a correction because bitcoin has been rising for such a period of time. There will always be a small correction before the real pump.

We're looking at $10000 quite realistically within a few days. Once the correction is over, that is what I think will happen. BTC should test the $10000 resistance, if it does make a breakthrough, it should easily carry on to hit $11k.

So yeah, long for sure. Even though I expect a short term correction it's not going to be a big enough drop to be worth shorting.
3719  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth trying COBINHOOD? on: March 21, 2018, 02:39:35 AM
Hey, guys! I would like to address everybody who has experience of using COBINHOOD exchange.
This is the cryptocurrency exchange that charges 0 fees on trading. Has anybody already tried it? Is it really worth trading on this exchange? Are there any hidden terms?

Would be grateful to anybody who could share his experience.

I think it is worth a try with the fact that they have no fees.

They do not seem to have any active complaints right now. People are saying that they have probably released their product a bit earlier than they should have, but that doesn't mean that they are not legit.

I haven't tried them myself, but the promise of no fees is just too great. The spreads don't seem to be that high either.

Best to try it out first, then comment on whether or not it's worth using. Use it with a small amount at first so that if anything goes wrong, you don't lose too much money. The withdrawal fees are a tad high but not unacceptable since they probably still haven't changed it since the transaction fees being so high.
3720  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchanges btc fee too much. sad life on: March 21, 2018, 02:31:47 AM
how to withdraw btc with the lowest fee possible in exchanges?

Depends on what exchange you are referring to here.

A lot of exchanges have updated their fees with the reduction in the average network fee paid to gain a confirmation. But some others have either reduced by not enough(like binance which only reduced 0.0005 BTC per withdrawal) or just not at all.

In that case, depending on the amount you're being charged as well as the amount that you hould on the exchange, it may be a good idea to first convert the bitcoin to altcoins with low fees and low spreads such as doge before withdrawing.

That method doesn't work on exchanges with high spreads, or high fees, however.
