Anything is actually possible in the Premier League. This season has decided to come with surprises. But i am pretty sure Liverpool becoming Champions at the end of the season will no be part of the surprise anyways finishing third will be a fair effort considering how the struggled in their early games but still it is not feasible to them considering Arsenal who is 15 points ahead of them, ManCity 10 points ahead and Newcastle 8 points. I agree that everything is possible here. Manchester City made an incredible comeback in one of the seasons back in the day. They started really horrible and caused a huge gap between the leader and themselves. But Guardiola managed to make his players fully concentrated again annd they became even the champions comfortably after a huge run.

I don't know if we can see the same mental from Liverpool. Klopp is another special manager that's for certain. But we will see how Liverpool react to their condition from now on.

Napoli will still be the highly favoured team for the win in their Inter game up next. Because there is still a huge strength gap between these teams now. Napoli have played very well in big games as well and I expect them to show the same level of performance again here.

On the other hand there is still a long time to go for this game. There are many variables that can change the way this game could possibly go as well. Napoli might start dealing with serious injuries or maybe some important players wouldn't be in a strong mental condition for a while after the World Cup finishes. We will find out about all of these later.

I think Juventus are one of the secret favourites of the Europa League title. Because they started to get really positive results in the recent times. I mean their results in the Serie A. They are on a great winning streak and climbed to the third position in the standings. This kind of results should be a motivation for them to play solid in the Europa League as well.

Their target should also be the cup here even though their main goal is top 4 in the Serie A. There is still a long season ahead so Juventus shouldn't think of only the Serie A for joining the Champions League again. Apart from that the more they are successful in the Europa League the better for Allegri to secure his seat as well.

It is definitely sad to see that Ronaldo will be remembered like this after his departure at the first opportunity. His mural has been torn from Old Trafford walls and this is another disrespect to him for certain. Ronaldo is normally a legend for the Red Devils. He had his best times with Manchester United and Real Madrid in his career. But from now on it looks like Manchester United will do their best to forget about him. But I never expect Alex Ferguson to think in the same way with the club.

Ronaldo's probability of being transferred in January is increasing day by day indeed.

It is still nice to see the people who are voting for even Liverpool to become the champions. But if we become more realistic then we can see that it is really difficult for Liverpool to enter the title race this season. After that bad run the gap with the teams at top has got much bigger. There is a 15-point gap with Arsenal now.

I know that the season is still long but Liverpool just need to be very consistent and hope for Arsenal - Manchester City duo to make mistakes more often. But I just think that the biggest thing Liverpool can do this season is to finish at the 3rd position in the standings. Even this would be nice for them considering that they are having an average season now.

Bayern Munich's domination will never end as long as they remain as the only very powerful team in the league. Dortmund are the most capable team to make the league more exciting in terms of a title race. But their priority is also not winning the league title now. They are focused on bringing young players rather than playing bigger.

They are like Ajax about this but Ajax are at least competitive in their own league like every season. They don't have a team like Bayern Munich in their league of course. But I just want to point out that Dortmund can do the same just as Ajax if they want.

Maybe Barcelona would really make use of a defender transfer in January after the injuries and Pique's retirement decision. However their performance in the defense line has been quite well generally. They have had big problems against big teams maybe but they still managed to dominate the rest of the games like the usual Barcelona.

Indeed they had better focus on improving their effort in big games to be more successful. Especially for the Champions League this is a must. It is the only way to do a good job there next season.

I wonder what kind of Manchester United we will see after the World Cup ends. It feels like things won't change too much about them unless they make some new signings in January. But they need to make these transfers carefully like for the needed positions. They like to spend a lot of money on unnecessary players as well so I'm not sure about them in transfer windows.

However ten Hag will also need to do something to help this team improve their productivity in goals. Otherwise they will continue to have an inconsistent form in the league.

It is possible on paper. But when we look at it from a reasonable aspect, yeah it is really difficult to prevent them from winning the league title. Finishing their streak without a title with an unbeaten season would be incredible for them. It would definitely be unforgettable. But their job will be really hard to do so of course.

I agree with the people who find the Ligue 1 not very intriguing. Because it is just a league dominated by PSG for years above all else.

However we are still able to watch really nice games between the other teams as well. Like games with many goals in it. Besides, I'm watching the league sometimes just for the sake of PSG's great trio of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar. When all of them are in the field and showing solid performances, the games are much more watchable. Apart from that, the boring part is that there is no proper title race between PSG and some other team most of the time.

It looks like this season is going to be really tough for Atletico Madrid. There is a huge drop in their performance these days. They have got only one win on the recent weeks. Simeone must be really frustrated with the recent results. They have already been eliminated in the Champions League as well and they aren't even in the Europa League.

All of these combined is a really big problem for the team. They were better than this in the previous season but something went wrong with them this season. Simeone might really think of leaving this team at the end of the season. They definitely need some big changes.

It was a usual game for PSG in the league. They got a too comfortable win despite Messi and Neymar's poor performances. Against teams like Auxerre, one of the trio is enough for PSG to get a decent win.

PSG have already started to relieve very much in the standings as well. I see that Lens are not far away from them but it would also happen in time. I don't think that they can do the same as Lille and make it to the title this season. There aren't the same mistakes made by PSG anymore. They are just focused on having as big gap as possible before their Bayern Munich games in the Champions League. They shouldn't have any problem about this as well.

In January, Juve will resume games with hard ones against Udinese, Napoli and Atalanta. Winning them might give them a chance to fight for the second place and hope for the first one in case Napoli drops points, which isn't that obvious!

I have noticed that Napoli haven't played against Juventus yet.

Maybe Juventus can be the first team to finally end their unbeaten streak in the league so far. Or actually Inter could do the same as well because Napoli's next game is going to be an away one against Inter. Napoli are going to play against these big teams in three weeks. There is a long time to think about the probable result of course. But I believe already that one of these teams will beat Napoli.

I also think that Ronaldo won't be in search of even the same level of his current salary in January. He just wants to leave at the earliest opportunity above all else. He is feeling really disappointed with Manchester United now. There have already been some serious problems between him and ten Hag. Things are heated even more these days.

Maybe Chelsea could be the number one contender to sign him in January. Because they are in need of a centre-forward as far as I can see.

Liverpool's condition is still quite worrying I'm afraid. Because they have been inconsistent for a long time and they are newly making things better in the league. They won against Tottenham and Southampton the last time to start a winning streak. But we don't know how strong they will return after the World Cup.

Somehow they had a big difficulty in performing at the same level with their performance in the Champions League. If they were able to do this then things would have been brighter for them now. But Klopp still has a long season ahead to think about a solution. Liverpool must be able to finish in top 4 at least.

The level of the Europa League has increased a lot after the teams from the Champions League have come here. It has got close to the Champions League I mean. There are really powerful teams in this round already. The number of favourites for the Europa League title has also increased quite much.

For now just as they are my favourite, Arsenal are the biggest title contender according to bookmakers. Barcelona and Manchester United follow respectively. I'd like to see Barcelona eliminating the Red Devils. And a finale like Arsenal - Barcelona would be amazing.

Freiburg and Leipzig's current situation in the league is quite familiar to me. Because we witnessed their nice competition on the last weeks of the previous season for the fourth position in the standings. Now they are doing the same for the second position.

To tell the truth, Leipzig have a better quality when we compare their squads. They have the potential to be more consistent unless they lose their concentration. Each one of them is competing in another European tournament so the conditions are equal. But I still think Leipzig are more likely to finish the season ahead of them. As for a title race I don't think so. Bayern Munich started to play as usual so it wouldn't be too hard to open a big gap with others for them.

Newcastle are an amazing team this season for certain. Especially their recent winning streak has carried them to the third position in the standings. They totally deserve to be ahead of Tottenham as well because of beating them 2-1 away before. I'm really excited about their future performances.

Because if they can become this much successful with an average level of squad now then I wonder what they can do with a squad full of very talented players. It is very important for them to qualify for the Champions League by finishing the season in top 4 now. Maybe it isn't easy but they have the strength for it.

Frankfurt are doing very well despite losing two points against Mainz.

They are still at the fourth position in the standings. They are able to keep up a good work in the Bundesliga and Champions League both at the same time. Maybe they are too likely to be eliminated in the Champions League in the current stage. But they would still do their best against Napoli. After that they must be able to concentrate on the Bundesliga completely. If they become consistent who knows maybe they can finish the season in top 4. But it is just too early to talk about this maybe.
