I'm favouring Juventus for advancing to the semi finals. I'm aware of how successful Sporting are in this tournament.

However Arsenal and Juventus are not the same type of teams. Each of them has a special kind of game plan for themselves. Sporting's game somehow worked well in the rematch and it led them to even eliminate Arsenal which were the biggest favourite team for the Europa League title. But Juventus' style can be really boring and maybe problematic at the same time. If Juventus outweigh them they can get past them narrowly on aggregate.

Inter should be able to beat Fiorentina in Giuseppe Meazza one way or another. This is important for them to improve their results in the league again. They are just risking their spot in top four by being quite inconsistent. This is a game that they can win decently depending on their performance. Inter are a really effective attacking team normally so they had better use this to their advantage.

Maybe Fiorentina are far away from them in the standings. But they have a much better form as they haven't lost for many weeks and they are on a winning streak of four games. Inter should be able to win narrowly at worst.

Tottenham are said to be interested in Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Manchester United are also interested in Harry Kane as you know. Some sources are saying that Manchester United might turn this situation into an advantage one for themselves. But I don't think Kane would be a part of a swap deal in any way.

I'm pretty sure Tottenham's demand will be really enormous for transfer fee. Let's see how eager Manchester United are to sign him. I think they should go for him because Kane would continue to be beneficial for many more years.

It won't be very good for Real Madrid if they become out of the Copa del Rey as well. Because they have already lost most of their chance to win the La Liga title. If they get eliminated by Barcelona in the Copa del Rey as well they will have only the Champions League left. Finishing the season without a title would be really bad for Real Madrid.

Barcelona can really push them out of the Copa del Rey by the way. Because they already beat them in the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg. I think they would finish the incomplete job.

Manchester City don't have an easy job at all this time. Bayern Munich are still very strong after parting ways with Lewandowski. Their disciplined game plan helps them stay focused in the Champions League.

They have eliminated PSG new as you know. This is a really significant achievement despite playing against an amazing trio. Of course we didn't watch all of those three players at the same but still there were at least two of them. Manchester City have even a much stronger squad but they still need to play carefully not to let their opponent capture an advantage easily. I wonder how good Haaland would be this time. He is familiar with playing against Bayern Munich.

Der Klassiker can be really lovely this time. Because there is still a title competition between Bayern Munich and Dortmund even while there aren't so many weeks left for the end of the season. This is not a scenario that we see very often in the Bundesliga honestly. Therefore we had better enjoy the remaining time period of this rare season as well.

Dortmund have been spectacular for so many weeks. This has helped them capture the lead in the standings. But this game will be very difficult for both of them. I don't think Bayern Munich would lose. But even a draw would be enough for Dortmund of course.

There is a Newcastle - Manchester United game on this game week which is important for top four at the same time.

Manchester United are already in a better situation in the league now. But the problem is that they can't win a game for two weeks. First the huge loss against Liverpool and after that the 0-0 draw against Southampton. The last one could have been winnable if Casemiro didn't get a red card though. Anyway their job will not be easy in an away game here. Newcastle have started to improve their form with a two-game winning streak. I think both teams will score and a draw is also likely to be seen.

The point difference between Benfica and Porto has just reached 10 points already. The draw against Braga cost Porto really much. I don't think Porto can catch up with Benfica in the remaining nine weeks in the season. Benfica should be able to reach the title very easily from now on. I think it is really time for Benfica also to become the champions because their last title was in the 2018/19 season.

This will be a championship with a big dominance at the same time Because they have lost only once so far. They are having a similar season to Napoli in the Serie A now. 

Manchester United - Sevilla can be a great matchup honestly. But I just have doubts about Sevilla that they can play really poorly this time.

Because they are having a terrible season now. They didn't even deserve to reach this stage in the Europa League in my opinion. Despite their bad performance against Fenerbahce they still made it here. But Manchester United should be able to counter them easily by this high effort. They really want this title as it seems. Therefore I expect this to be extra motivation to finish off Sevilla just as they did to another Spanish team, Betis.

Can this be a chance for Marseille to catch up with PSG again? I don't think so honestly. Because PSG are still a huge favourite for the title as long as they have a squad like this. I must say especially Messi, Mbappe and Neymar of course. I don't think PSG would maintain a bad form for a long time either. Because they have already been eliminated in the Champions League.

The Ligue 1 is their only focus now. They can't play very complacent from now on if they don't wany any surprise to happen later on. Marseille would do their best at least for securing their current position. It is important to finish in top 2 to join the CL groups directly.

It was a really interesting series of decisions by FIA but finally Alonso got his podium once again. He has been very consistent so far for two races as he finished in second position in both of them.

Alonso is just using full power of Aston Martin right now. Stroll is not going on as good as him I'm afraid. But Alonso is their main driver technically for successes. They must still be very satisfied with his results. It is really interesting to see Aston Martin faster than Mercedes and Ferrari both now. Alonso even competed with Perez for a short time period at least. This potential must be really scary for the other big teams now.

Union Berlin are still following the biggest teams in front of them by a couple of points in the standings. Maybe it is still quite difficult for them to take the lead again but this distance is still very good for them. They just need to be patient and see any of Bayern Munich and Dortmund make any mistake. But even one of them make that mistake still the other one would make it to the title.

It is not very realistic for Union Berlin to win the title for now as a result. This is still a very successful season for them for certain. I wouldn't expect them to maintain the third position even while we are closing in on the end of the season.

It is very lovely to follow the rivalry for top four in the league now. With Lazio's getting a win over Roma they are the new owner of the second position now. Inter are just the victim of their bad form recently. This was their second loss in a row. Milan also could have benefited from this situation and gone up to the third position as well. But they have been even worse than Inter these days.

Roma are another team in similar situation actually. Only Napoli and Lazio are doing well in the upper positions. Napoli have already finished the season though but this is very important for Lazio on one hand.

After the recent postponements I see that there is a really delightful game ahead. Manchester City are going to host Liverpool this time. It is a big problem for Liverpool obviously as they are a very inconsistent team this season. I know how they beat Manchester United by an absurd result anyway. But this doesn't happen very often at the same time.

I don't think they would stand much chance against Manchester City in Etihad. If Haaland has a good day as well then they can even demolish Liverpool. Liverpool don't have a great defending despite having very solid defenders.

Atletico Madrid suddenly captured a chance to take the second position from Real Madrid in the remaining time period of the season.

Because at this point I don't think Real Madrid would be focused on the La Liga more. They will care about the Champions League the most for reaching the championship which they can really do it. They don't have much chance to go for the La Liga title anymore in the end. Atletico Madrid can turn this into an advantage if they play decently and consistently. Considering their form this is possible.

Chelsea still have come not a very short way. Their chance of advancing to the next stage has dropped too much already after having a draw against Real Madrid. I just think Real Madrid would tear them apart if they preserve the same motivation level they got against Liverpool. These are both English teams and not so different than each other this season as well.

One way or another I don't see any other possibility than Real Madrid to reach the semi finals comfortably. I still don't see Chelsea defense as reliable. Their most recent Premier League game has also shown that.

The most comfortable matchup seems to be for Leverkusen in this stage. However it is still not an easy one on one hand.

Because Union Berlin were the team being eliminated by Royale Union SG in the previous stage. I was expecting the opposite to happen honestly. Now Royale Union SG will face another German team and they should be fully ready for this challenge. Besides Leverkusen's position in the Bundesliga isn't even better than Union Berlin. Leverkusen are mostly focused on the Europa League I guess. This might be some extra help for them to eliminate their opponent maybe.

Aston Villa are rumoured to be interested in signing Romelu Lukaku in the summer. I think Chelsea would prioritize selling him instead of loaning him to another team. Inter don't seem willing to extend his loan contract now. Because he is far away from his much better performances right now. After a long-term injury he hasn't been very effective. His performance in the World Cup was also poor.

Aston Villa should be able to reach an agreement for him as long as the demands aren't too high for him. Because he couldn't keep his value much high after having a bad period for a long time.

Barcelona just had the last word in the La Liga by winning the El Clasico by 2-1 after a really great comeback. I was even surprised to see them conceding first. But this was still not enough to keep Barcelona away from winning the game. Lewandowski couldn't score any goal maybe but Barcelona still managed to reach their goal in this game.

Kessie's goal was really devastating for Real Madrid as it came in the stoppage time. Ancelotti should have been able to make his players show a much better performance than this. Now we can comfortably say that the champion team will be Barcelona surely.

Inter really surprised me by not even scoring a goal in this game. I was expecting them to win by a small margin but the opposite scenario happened.

They were just horrible at finding the target today. Only 3 shots were on target despite having 18 goal attempts. Their job was really difficult because of this bad performance. Juventus are really good at securing their score advantage when they get ahead first. This is valid against big teams as well. This was what they did in this whole game. This was an important win to maintain the gap of four points with Atalanta as well.
