Taking this into account, the final score of the game, 4:0 in favor of Shakhtar, doesn't look that strange. So, maybe this particular game wasn't fixed. However, something looks fishy about it. I read, 2 hours before the game Minaj players were saying they were not going to the stadium. Then they arrived to the stadium, with a delay of 40 minutes, and there was info that players closed themselves in the locker room, saying they were not going to play.
Yeah, result isn't strange, but things in betting markets were not usual. There was huge bets made on over 3.5 goals, like $300k or $500k. Unfortunately, I can find only russian article about  it: https://ua.tribuna.com/football/1096858915-aleksandr-denisov-stavki-na-match-minaj-shaxter-byli-po-300-500-tysyac.html
Also, unofficial team manager Oleksandr Sevidov, who started to work in Minaj just month ago is currently banned from footbal for 5 years for being involved in match fixing. Coincidence? I don't think so. Officially he works as advisor in the team, since he aren't allowed to manage team.

I wonder how Minaj team players explained their behavior? It seems to me that the team had some serious problems and information about this went outside the club, so many bettors expected a major defeat. I don't think there was any dishonest agreement or intention to lose the game on purpose with a large score.
One their player that game was delayed because their bus arrived to the stadium too late. Other said that they didn't wanted to play and risk their reputation in case if they will suffer big loss. Team manager in press conference that he only want to talk about game and allegation about fixing is nonsense.
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 07, 2021, 05:48:12 AM
A muddy story. But isn't Shakhtar so much stronger than the second team that a bet on the number of goals over 3.5 looks quite reasonable? I am not an expert in Ukrainian football, but from the outside this story looks far-fetched. Maybe the excitement around this match was created for some other reasons that we do not yet know.
Yes, bet on over 3.5 goals on this game looks reasonsble, despite that Shakhtar were playing quite shitty. But as I understand, number of bets made on over 3.5 goals was significantly bigger than on casual similar level game, what made it to look suspicious.
3703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 06, 2021, 07:11:35 PM
Today there was very interesting case of potentially fixed game in Ukraine Premier League.
Some strange things happened in markets before Minaj and Shakhtar Donetsk game. Odds for Minaj win went from 27 to 44. Also, so many people started to bet on over 3.5 goals that some bookmakers removed this game from market. When I made bet for over 3.5, it was @1.60, but 30 minutes before game it was just 1.37.
And then, Minaj players simply refused to play because of allegations. Later they changed their mind, but game started 35 minutes later than planned. And how unexpected, game ended with Shakhtar win 4:0.
As far as I know, Minaj players aren't getting paid, so it's nothing surprising that they got involved in dirty things. And loss tonight means that they will drop to second division.

If before season somone would have said that Chelsea will play in Champions final this year, I would have called that person dumb. Chelsea got very lucky that PSG sacked Tuchel - it's amazing what he did with this team.
What a solid game today, no chance for Real. Before game I was wondering why bookmakers gives such obvious advantage for Chelsea. Tonight's game showed that it wasn't without a reason.
3705  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which Covid 19 Vaccine is is the best ? on: May 05, 2021, 08:35:02 PM
OP, you haven't listed many covid vaccines like Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and some less known vaccines. Without these, your poll results won't represent anything.
Personally, I think that most us can't say which one vaccine is the best. Most of us don't have medical education and now it's nothing more than popularity contest.
Sinovac vaccine has a single-dose efficiency of just 3%, according to a study performed by Universidad de Chile.
3%? Did I read it right? Shouldn't it something like 30%? I tried to look for more data about this vaccine and there is lot of different numbers. From what I found, efficiency of Sinovac vaccine is between 50% and 78% according to different researches.
3706  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why France and EU do not go ahead to make Pakistan a part of European Union? on: May 05, 2021, 08:06:13 PM
Why to ask such strange questions? How do you imagine such thing? Why EU would need to accept country from South Asia and why Pakistan would need to join EU? It's not how things works in politics.
Pakistan who holds around 30-40% of worlds politics. Pakistan has a very strong role in Politics around the world.
Forget about USA, China, Russia, UK or Germany. Here comes Pakistan - most powerful country in the world.
3707  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 30 questions for theymos on: May 05, 2021, 07:43:39 PM
Although I am curious to know all the answers but there a few terrible questions. For example, who is theymos, we don't expect these answers from a decentralized crypto user due to privacy issues.
Why it's terrible? It's obvious that he isn't asking his real name or other sensitive personal information.

Nobody likes to answer bunch of questions and I think 30 is a bit too much, not to mention that all bits of information you leave online can potentially help to identify his real identity if he is being honest.
Hey, don't speak for everyone Wink. If you check how many responses @zasad@ thread with questions got, it wouldn't be right to say that nobody likes to answer such questions. Offcourse, merits played it's role there, but I think that even without, there would be many responses.
I doubt that theymos will respond to these questions, but if he would it, it would so damn interesting. We really don't know much about our boss.
3708  Economy / Reputation / Re: Zepher - 900 days since last active. Q: What was he like? on: May 05, 2021, 07:23:38 PM
Unfortunately, I never interacted with him personally. But he left significant mark in Bitcointalk history, especially in Collectibles board. I'm not frequent visitor there, so I can't describe him as person in detail. But if you'll check his memorial thread or his trust page, you'll see that he was great man and Bitcointalk community will never forget him.

Guys, what do you think about Mourinho in Roma? For me this move is very unexpected and it will be another reason to watch  Serie A next season.
I think that he have even less chance to win something with Roma than in Spurs. Expectations is big, but c'mon, Roma is miles away from Inter, Juventus. Milan, Atalanta or Napoli is also way better than them. And it's possible that they won't even qualify to UEFA competition next season. Even if they will, it will be just third tier competition called UEFA Conference League. Winning this trophy wouldn't very prestigious and big thing.
Also, it's interesting that Mkhitaryan had conflicts with Mou back in MU times. Wouldn't be surprised if he will leave Roma summer.
Mourinho got 3 year contract, but I would give him max 1.5 year until he will be sacked.
3710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 04, 2021, 09:02:28 PM
City is simply great and deserved to reach final. PSG today made 0 shots on target - it says a lot about this game. Absence of Mbappe was huge factor tonight. And what I noticed that PSG players simply lose their heads when they are loosing, it happened today, it happened multiple times in Ligue 1 this season. That red flag of Di Maria is best example of it - what an idiot.
3711  Other / Meta / Re: The signature campaign “syndrome” on: May 04, 2021, 07:29:21 PM
I have a bit similar syndrome. I tend to pay less attention to posts made by users who participate in non-Bitcoin paying campaigns. Especially if it's made by users who isn't familiar for me. Maybe now it's not that big problem, but few years ago when bounties where bigger thing, reading posts by bounty participants was big waste of time.
And I don't hide signatures and avatars. I wear paid signature myself, so I would be hypocrite if I would do this.
I find that 25 a week is a sweet spot. Divided by 7 days, that averages to 3.5 a day. Not too demanding if you ask me.
My campaign requires 20 posts a week and I think that 20-25 is optimal number. Bigger requirements would significantly reduce quality of posts I think.
But still, when I have bussy week or I don't find interesting topics to post, sometimes reaching even 20 posts isn't that easy.

Rumor, if the Gp of Mexico will be eliminated for Covid situation they are now thinking about adding a second GP in the USA.

The location will be probably Indianapolis in the old f1 track version.
It's strange to see romours that Mexico GP can be cancelled. There is half year left until this race and with things like vaccination, I don't see any reasons why they would need to cancel this race.
Indianapolis road circuit would be interesting choice. Last time race there were held probably 15 years ago, so barely can remember how good or bad race there was. Only thing which stuck in my mind when there just 6 cars started in race.
3713  Other / Meta / Re: wtf? I don't scammer on: May 03, 2021, 07:36:53 PM
Maybe just like many wonders why scam is not moderated on this forum? It is probably about giving everyone the freedom to do whatever they want, with the community then saying what they think about it through feedback and flags.
I think it's also about workloads for moderators and their responsibility. Imagine what if they would to check every scam accusation, all topics in Reputation board and make decision whether someone is scammer or no. And don't forget their main job - moderating forum. I think it would be too much for them and I think current system when everything is left for community to judge. Though, it's far for perfect...
I think that account sales isn't forbidden because it would be difficult to prevent such things. Even if you have extra information like IP logs, it's not always proof that account changed hands.
But yeah, there is some things which never was clear for me, like why it was completely OK to sell accounts in past, escrow for account sales or using it as collateral.

Isn't Benteke a true scammer? I was a huge fan when he played for Aston Villa, thought he was from another planet, then he was sold for 45-50million or something to Liverpool (my favorite team).... Then the scam started, no goals, bad playing, injured etc  Cheesy Roll Eyes Kiss
LOL, you really made me laugh Cheesy. When I saw OP's username, my first thought also was Christian Benteke Cheesy.

Sometimes I get promotional emails from freebitcoin regarding the deposit promo after I clicked it turned out that only bitcoin deposit methods were available of course I avoid everything that uses bitcoin for deposits so I mean why not provide other methods such as altcoins
Maybe because name of website is FreeBitco.in, not FreeAltco.in
But yeah, it would be nice if they would start supporting altcoin deposits. I remember they planned to support few main altcoins year or two ago, but so far it wasn't implemented. When transaction fees is so high, Bitcoin deposit isn't good option.
3715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 02, 2021, 09:12:04 PM
Very difficult, nervous, but such important win. Honestly, after 1st half I thought that our title race come to the end. These feelings become even stronger after Paulista goal.
But then Barca wake up. Now I just don't understand what I thought when I made under 3.5 goals bet on this game. When you look at H2H results, it doesn't happens that often.
Next round can be decisive in league. Barca will face Atletico, while Real will play against Sevilla. Lot of questions may be answered there, already can't wait for next weekend.
3716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 02, 2021, 06:43:53 PM
Yeah, it wasn't most exciting race, I expected for something more in this track. Hamilton was great today, his overtake over Verstappen was perfect. Good race for Perez - after all, 4th place is his best result in Red Bull so far. Maybe 8th place doesn't sounds sexy, but it was solid race for Alonso.
And Kimi big mistake was something what you don't expect from most experienced F1 driver.
Next GP after less than week in Barcelona - one of the most boring tracks in my opinion, if we exclude city circuits.
3717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: May 02, 2021, 12:41:18 PM
Kimi Raikonnen winning at group 3 in quali priced at 3.1 seems like value.  Need some inputs from you guys before making the bet and while FP1 hasn’t started.  Both Williams finishing above him at the last quali seems like an anomaly and flukish to me.  What do you guys think?

Uhm , couldn't you pick another group ? This group seems way too balance so I feel like I picky randomly. If I were to chose I would go with Russel because he has something to prove after the last race and this is the best occasion for him to do so. Regarding Kimi ( still my fav driver tho ), I don't like the team strategies so even if he has a good start like the previous year, I still can't trust his engineers and strategies to put him in the right place in the right moment so it's a pass for me regarding this group.
It's easy to talk about qualification, but I think that pick between these drivers isn't that difficult. Choose between Russel and Kimi. Haas car this year isn't competetive at all this year, so Schumacher have no chance. While Latifi is worst driver in F1 after Mazepin IMO. If there will be such bet in next race, I would pick Russel, it's not first qualification when he showed solid result.

Race is after just more than hour. Does anyone really believe that Bottas can win it? Personally, I hardly see such scenario.
3718  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you miss VOD poll? on: May 02, 2021, 12:35:09 PM
Until I read your post, I didn't knew that Vod left forum. I can say that I will miss him here. After all, he was one of oldest active membees here and he contributed a lot. Yeah, I know that there was long time dispute between him and OgNasty, I don't know who is right there, and, honestly, I couldn't care less - it's not my business. I just hope that Vod will do fine outside forum.
You can love them or hate, but I think that forum lost too many long time members in recent time like Vod, Lauda or TMAN. And some of them like Bruno or TECSHARE left us forever...
3719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 01, 2021, 09:24:17 PM
I am thinking EURO should not be a problem but Copa America could be less interesting. My rule of thumb is that 10 players minimum are needed to have a fun pool.
Yeah, getting participants for EURO pool shouldn't be difficult. But we already had Copa America pool in 2019 and there was 10 players:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146493.0. I think we can get at least 10-15 players this time. Main issue that EURO and Copa America will be played on same time, so probably Copa will get less interest because of this. But I like that this summer we will have football all day all night Cheesy.

We did have a euro pool as I recall or was that World Cup now? Either way definitely joining if there is enough interest!
Can't remember about EURO 2016, probably prediction pools on Bitcointalk 5 years ago wasn't thing yet. But we really had pool for World Cup in 2018, it was fun thing.

^^
Thanks for Milan analysis, folks. As I already said, my knowledge about Serie A isn't deep enough, but I also got impression that Miland squad depth and quality isn't good enough to compete with Inter, Juventus and even Atlanta or Napoli. Injuries didn't helped them too.
@Trofo, wow, it's nice numbers. I didn't knew that there is extra prize for yellow cap winner, but unfortunately it's mission impossible to reach tyKiwanuka - 24 points per round is something extraordinary. I'm already waiting for next season and despite that Serie A isn't my league, I'm definitely going to join prediction pool next season. Also, I hope that you or hilarious will make pool for EURO 2020. I just realised that we have Copa America this year also - maybe it can be interesting too.
