The scammer told me they were in the north of Myanmar but not sure if it's true or not. But defenetely is overseas and I guess that's y they are not afraid at all. But someone told here before any recovery money service need to paid in advance can not be trusted? So desperate now.

if you want to make sure from that side as well, you can offer them money for recovery and pay in advance but, only using escrow service. if he has honest intentions, there is no reason to reject such a proposal and a third party in this deal will cover the interests of both parties.
3722  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan, collateral provided on: January 26, 2022, 11:14:27 AM
All of your domains are estimated via pure consciousness worth nothing. Maximum $10 as any other domain when registering.
Domain bruteapp.com is already for sale, so you offer them as collateral and in essence, you are trying to sell it through credit.
If it's true that you have a team of 17 highly skilled developers. I guess if they are really highly skilled, they earn at least a total of $20k-$30k minimum monthly. why don't you ask them to help you with the loan?

3725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another episode of "Not your keys, not your Coins" on: January 25, 2022, 05:55:59 PM
That's right, nothing new here and it was expected that if the exchange has been hacked, the percentage of having a refund is very small if it's the platform is a big exchange platform.  Just like Binance exchange that has a SAFU, it's possible that they will refund all their customers once they get hacked?

that in theory there is a basis for such thinking, big exchange will refund his customers. But in reality, did you hear about Mt.Gox? Big exchange, safu blah blah... it is of little use to aggrieved users (I am one of them  Sad )

This is correct. You can read more here: https://www.zdnet.com/article/exclusive-talktalk-hacker-also-breached-etherdelta-cryptocurrency-exchange/

Essentially the CEO's personal details were used to gain access to EtherDelta's admin account and Cloudflare account, and then redirect all traffic to a malicious clone of the website. When users then entered their private keys (since that is the ridiculous way in which EtherDelta works), the malicious site sent them off to the attacker and their funds were stolen.

Further, EtherDelta isn't really decentralized at all. How can a decentralized exchange have a CEO? Why does it need users to enter their private keys?

the bottom line is that it is an equally high risk, no matter if "your keys, your coins".
If we talk about dex exchanges, Isn't it necessary to send funds to the trading account so, even you hold your keys, your coins can be robbed if a hack happened.
3726  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards on: January 25, 2022, 05:41:44 PM
I agree; while it's definitely a very good deed, it doesn't fit the description.
Also not sure it deserves the attached 'main prize' compared to someone who devoted many years to serving the community. Like, time is money as well.. Smiley And the value of time people like theymos put into this forum over many years is surely worth much more than $1000.

whether this is an award for the 2021 year, or for many years from the beginning?
3727  Other / Meta / Re: Why is it like this? Year 2010? on: January 25, 2022, 05:35:50 PM
Edit #2: OK, now I'd say likely a troll... 3rd screenshot in OP has a lowercase "am". I'm not buying it. *smh*
Digging up data from the start of the forum reminds me of a well-known troll, but the lowercase "am" came from archive.org's version of bitcoin.org/smf. It's not doctored.

If he is already in 2010, I thought maybe ask them to buy some cheap Bitcoin for me? I would be forever grateful if he would do it for me.
OP, was the first to troll, not me.
3728  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: January 25, 2022, 03:11:06 PM
I don't want to influence people's votes too much, but I was wondering how many users would nominate EZ0010 for one of the awards, and then I saw @examplens got the first vote in. I'm not entirely sure they fit in the Absolute Hero of Good's description, but out of the ones its probably the most fitting. Might be fitting to the event of the year, because it was a rare mistake from theymos that led to the event, which had a happy ending.

On another note, I might get in on the voting this year, though can I leave out some categories?

what EZ0010 has done is certainly a move worthy of attention and praise for me. Newbie, without any reputation, who received the money as a gift, still decided to return it. Maybe is not the best description, but it kind of suited me Hero of Goods for them.

I also haven't idea about some categories and leave them blank. I guess it's more OK than nominating some random members.
3729  Other / Meta / Re: [Voting 2021] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: January 25, 2022, 02:44:51 PM
here I go. I see that everyone is a bit reticent.
I don't have a couple of choices so I will leave it blank. maybe I'll add if I get an idea through the discussion here.

 1. Absolute Hero of Good: EZ0010 - Newbie user returned $1000 that was wrongly sent to him.
 2. Golden Feather:
 3. Bitcointalk Ninja: suchmoon, LoyceV and dkbit98 - they are everywhere on the forum, it is very difficult to find a topic without one of them  Cheesy
 4. Bitcoin Geek: ETFbitcoin, OmegaStarScream
 5. Event of the Year:
 6. Fail of the Year: Biggest fail was a charity and three users involved in this drama. I won't nominate any of them, it won't be fair if they win awards for such a mess. Probably yahoo62278 who was the first to notice it all
 7. Discovery of the Year: Charles-Tim, BIT-BENDER, - three random most active Nigerian users. it seems to me that their local community has made the most progress, in addition to the problem with banning crypto and Twitter in his country. EZ0010 - I saw many members added this guy to Discovery of the Year category, so I add it too
 8. Best SpamBuster: Rikafip - helped GazetaBitcoin to be top reporter
 9. Best ScamBuster: lovesmayfamilis - I saw them probably every day with new investigations
10. Craft Master:
11. Antihero:    Timelord2067 very often he does great things on the forum, but it also sometimes pushes the completely wrong thing.
12. Miss Bitcointalk: sheenshane is the only girl I know here. I also think I've seen how she looks, so this vote is more than justified. icopress even if you expose your feet on here, you can't be my choice  Grin
13. Best Moderator: hilariousandco, Cyrus
3730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another episode of "Not your keys, not your Coins" on: January 25, 2022, 01:49:03 PM
This is another reminder to everyone whether you're a newbie or not, that using platforms such exchanges which the users doesn't have full control of their assets always have the risk of getting robbed, either the platform refunded it, worst if not.

from this, it might be inferred that decentralised platforms, where users control their keys, are safe?
I remember etherdelta DEX exchange, where people still have control over their keys and funds, but they were still compromised and many users were left without money.

3732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Nasterxchange 26000 euro on: January 25, 2022, 01:21:40 PM
Here is the proof, also the admins will not ban him from their forum for no reason, its all real.   proof is here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgUl5XfVm5U

Wow, nice. You recorded the complete correspondence between you.
btw admin does what he can there. He locked his thread and he slowed his work as much as he could.

I am wondering, whether that money 26k are legal? I mean, you agree with the 13% fee, even you are good if you get "only" 70% money back. at a time when we are all struggling to keep commissions as low as possible, this sounds very generous.

I'll refer you to this thread to know what it is and how to create one [GUIDE] Overview of the trust flags and to this thread Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! to ask members for support.

+1 for this.
I leave them negative feedback, others must be alerted to this user. Unfortunately, this is not his first scam case.
3733  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: exchanger atpayz.com on: January 25, 2022, 12:41:29 PM
..

..

both of these comments sound like fake positive reviews. Very likely paid feedback, since they are new accounts I won't be surprised if both are created by the site owner.
I wouldn't believe this, and neither do most users.
For the team, you have to do it much better and more seriously if you want some success in the exchange business.
3734  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: January 25, 2022, 04:23:58 AM
I apologize about the screw up. The certificate is supposed to renew automatically. Not sure what happened there, looking into it now.

Edit: site should be ok now. Still not sure what caused the renewal to fail - I just ran the script manually and it worked.

Yes, everything is back to normal now. Both, site and browser extension.
I have similar problems with a free security certificate. I think they still can't be renewed automatically, it must have to be manually renewed. Usually, it happened 365 days after activation. So, you're probably safe until 25 Jan. '23
3735  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CMC + StakingRewards + Masternode + Mining Calculations + Defi List on: January 24, 2022, 11:07:46 PM

I just assumed it would be on different pages, not all on the same page. So if you were interested in the CMC part of it, then you would be there and you won't see anything else, if you want to switch to masternode part then you would click on that page and see that, if you want staking then you have staking, if you have defi then you have defi. All in all we are talking about something that is generally page by page, just under one domain, but different ideas under one umbrella. Not all at the same time on the same page of course.

Of course, but you will offer too much information. you will bury the thing with superfluous information, for example, I am not sure that your potential visitor has the same interest in Defi and masternode also.
Plus, for something like that, you must provide more staff than the competition and for that. there is a lot of work and you need a serious team. Probably 4 or 5 team members. Are you sure you can handle it?
3736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Nasterxchange 26000 euro on: January 24, 2022, 10:59:33 PM
I sent him 26000 euro to his bank account that he sent me and after that he said he lost access to bank drop and he can not give me crypto.

omg, you sent them 26k euro just like that, because of his thread on one forum?
In his terms, I saw that the expected waiting for funds is 24-48h ?? So, you send someone 26k and it's okay to wait for 48h for your money back? and all from an unknown person from the internet?

If admins can ban him from this forum then it will give me some relief and save other users on this forum from getting scammed.

If he is on this forum, the maximum what you can do is to open scam accusations and ask his account to be red-tagged by DT members.
Also, you need to post clear evidence with all proofs. (Chat log where you predict that his family will have an accident and his wife will die in the next 7 days is proof of something other than fraud)
3737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 24, 2022, 03:52:46 PM
According to the media here in Italy.

Dusan Vlahovic wants to join only Juventus and refused Arsenal.

Fiorentina knowing their small contractual power, the player contract will expire in 15 months, open to the selling of the player during this week.

Juventus is preparing an official bid for the player and seems to already have a deal with the player for a 7m/y salary.

Well, I must disappoint you but this does not happen. I mean, Juventus for sure haven't enough money to give them the best offer.
Judging by rumours here in Serbia about who his manager is, he is not in a situation where his wishes are very important. The agency which represents him is very sensitive to money, and it will certainly be a priority for him in relation to his wishes and his career.
3738  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: January 24, 2022, 03:22:35 PM
is it just me or there really is a problem with the security certificate?

I guess it can be the reason why bpip chrome extension does not work properly.
3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Braintrust. Your opinion? on: January 24, 2022, 02:40:22 PM
After the initial spike of this 2021 Alt, I has only declined. Connecting freelancers is it's mission. Should I hold?

It's a shitcoin like many others out there. I know at least 10 coins which utility is "connecting freelancers", and i think there's no real future in it. Freelancers want FIAT, not volatile coins

this is completely true.
I am very surprised how freelancers are not involved in cryptocurrencies, they are not even interested. even when they get an offer to do some job and get paid in Bitcoin, they mostly try to convert the profit into fiat as soon as possible. (few exceptions of course)
btw about this coin, the team probably won't wait until the next bull run. wasting time.
3740  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to search currency exchange on: January 24, 2022, 12:27:47 PM
u mean keep tracking the address transactions until find some with exchange's sign after address, say Binance? Scammer asked my to borrowed my Crypto account and I refused, anything they can do with an empty Crypto.com account?

Like I said in my first post, the address you posted already has links with Binance and Crypto.com accounts. Its receiving withdrawals from both these exchanges. Is it a coincidence that everyone he scammed used these exchanges? I doubt it so now and that you mentioned that he tried to borrow your account, this could mean that he's using other people's accounts to hide his tracks since they're not under his name. I think it would really help if the law enforcement reach out to both exchanges, and ask them for a list of accounts that made a withdrawal to the address you shared with us (assuming they could share such data).

as far as I understood OP in his previous exposing his case, he sent in several transaction funds to the scammer address. In total around $120000, so it's very likely most of all transactions where is address marked from Binance or crypto.com belongs to the OP.

use the service of the mixers? whats that mean?Huh
If so, then can never be tracing??
I feel so bad now.

As I know, Ethereum or ERC20 tokens is more complicated for mixing and hiding. but honestly, you don't have much reason to be optimistic.
