3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 22, 2020, 02:40:06 AM
The whole arsenal team are a joke..they lack motivation, No leadership..
I hate to admit it, but we're spineless at the moment.

wrong substitution from coach
Exactly. Not sure if Arsenal board is influencing substitutions due to some players contract issues but Martinelli would've played a lot better [surely] than Auba and Laca and I prefer to not comment on Luiz [worst player in EPL].

Arsenal lost it way back in 2006, after that loss in the Champion's League Final to Barcelona (makes me feel so old  Grin).
That and the minute they switched Highbury for Emirates.

Arsenal are not a team you can trust but it's hard not to trust them too. I have lost so many bets and so many competitions just because I favored them.
Same here Cheesy

Does Guardiola want to stay at City even if they will be out from the League?
Probably not [if that happens].

So, if Arteta stayed a bit more he would have learned so much from Pep and when he finally decides to do it himself he would be ready, he wasn't really at City for too long to learn everything.
IIRC, Pep mentioned on numerous occasions [since last season] that Arteta is more than ready for managing a club.
- The issue with Arsenal is mainly its board members (not spending enough money) + current players and a few of its staff (in short, 90% of the club).

Expecting to see another easy win for Man City [3 - 1].

3743  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Digitalsell54 is scammer on: June 20, 2020, 06:28:02 AM
The user just blocked me on telegram, after I sent him btc for a vultr account
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243256.new#new
After noticing the amount of deleted comments [top of the page] from that thread, I did some digging and found those deleted comments [thanks to LoyceV] and based on current evidence, I believe OP of that thread [Digitalsell54] is indeed a scammer.

3744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 20-Year-Old Robinhood Customer Dies By Suicide After Seeing A $730,000 Negative on: June 19, 2020, 11:54:59 AM
Can Robinhood though has some liability here? It seems that the victim saw negative balance but the article it is just temporary but this could have triggered everything. If Robinhood display it real-time, this could have been avoided?
I believe they do and they have reached out to his family but they're not yet ready for speaking to RH.

Well, honestly I'm not exactly so sure about what I understand about the article.
Basically, it was an issue with the UI.

Not surprised by this since they have a history of listing scam/fake projects in their platform [e.g. This and this].
- Looks like their security department (if they have one) doesn't do their work properly.
3746  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTK] Stonebook: Secure Notebook for crypto on: June 18, 2020, 02:27:31 PM
- Ghost Pen Ink for maximum security
~Snipped~
Thinking about buying it, the price looks good
In case you and anybody else is also after the pen, I found the following warning while opening the "GHOST PEN SPECS" from "Stonebook's" product page [there's also a warning in the pen page itself but it has a shorter explanation]:

⚠ California Proposition 65 Warning
Warning:
This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
For more information: www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

Another issue that's worth mentioning since Stonebook is currently on sale:

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

* I have seen some videos, the paper is hard and not easy to cut, waterproof, but unfortunately it is not fire-resistant.
According to the following highlighted part, I wonder what are the exceptions?

Tested to be water & oil resistant & repels most liquids

Did anyone try this tool?
Not yet but found an interesting review [constructive criticism]:

Maybe make the pages a bit thicker? So that ink wouldn’t flow thru? That is definitely an issue with the product. Saying to leave a page while writing is not a solution. Maybe lower the price of the book a bit coz a page is wasted each time words are written?
3747  Economy / Goods / Re: Starting up Beef Jerky Company on: June 18, 2020, 10:39:53 AM
I currently only really have an instagram (@thecryptojerky)
Just finished checking your IG page and noticed you are using only a few tags for each of your posts [try to use up to 30 tags for maximum exposure].

and no website yet.
I hope that changes soon since accepting crypto-currencies manually through IG isn't that ideal...
- In regards to payment processors, I suggest using either Blockonomics or BTCPay [coinbase and bitpay limits your customer base].

If there is anyone out there willing to take a risk and try some I'd like to get samples out and get some real thoughts and constructive criticism (friends and family are only so helpful).
From where are you?
3748  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Borrow Blockloans & Secure Bitvaults on: June 17, 2020, 05:19:03 PM
BlockLoans.org
I believe it's only "blockloan" [without the "s"] since the other domain is for sale.

It looks like an "incomplete website"...
  • Team members don't have pictures and profile links.
  • Everything in the footer area links to homepage.

If this is an announcement, then you should move this thread to "Service Announcements" board.
- "move topic" button is in the bottom left corner of the page.
3749  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NSFW - [Idea] TikTok for Adults monetized with Crypto currencies. on: June 17, 2020, 02:17:09 PM
they have to pay say $2 in Crypto to see the rest of the video. Then $1 goes towards the hosting site ...let's call it, TickPay and $1 goes towards the user for the content they offered.
I'm not that much into such stuff but charging a 50% fee, is quite a lot [IMHO].

What do you think, will this work and will this promote Crypto currencies?
It might work for individuals that are limited from using the traditional payment methods but in general, not so sure...
- It's one of those topics that most of us can easily argue on both sides.
- In regards to promoting crypto-currencies, I can't see this having a significant effect.

So hosting a site with short movie clips like this, could cost a lot less in storage needs, compared to Youtube storage requirements.
In the beginning, yes but it could pile up quite quickly [requires constant expansion].

You might want to also try the following place: BitMarket

13 euros for 2 volumes right?

3751  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is changelly trustworthy? on: June 16, 2020, 04:46:29 PM
Does changelly have a bad reputation?
Yes. Read "this thread and all of its links to other threads"...
- If you search their name in "Scam Accusations" board, you'll get the whole picture.

Anybody else lost their funds to changelly?
Lots of other people...
- Just because it worked for some, it doesn't mean it'll work for everybody else [selective scams].

Using changelly certainly was a one time mistake for me.
I'm letting you know, because I whish somebody would've told me before...
You should've asked or searched prior to using it.
3752  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CCNEWS24 - Most relevant CryptoCurrency News on: June 16, 2020, 03:27:39 PM
Not sure if this is intended or not but it appears, anyone who signs up can easily publish an article in your platform [you might want to change that].

Overall, I really liked your platform and subscribed to its RSS feed.
3753  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [New Store] CryptoStash Store - your number one digital store on: June 16, 2020, 12:19:20 PM
On our site you will get to purchase different types of digital products without exposing your identity. Everything is in stealth mode. We value your privacy and therefore we will never store your private info such as your name, physical address or phone number. We will only require your email address where your purchase will be delivered.
Then why in addition to emails, you also ask for "first/last name" in buying virtual/plastic debit cards?

All products on our store are obtained legally and are not hacked or stolen.
Can you provide any proof to back that up?

We offer fast shipping/delivery of digital products (5 minutes min, 24 hours max).
It would be nice if the delivery of digital products were instant/automated once each transaction receives a certain amount of confirmation.

You might want to also consider making a TOS and FAQ pages.

THIRM will fund/sponsor your crypto project & might even help you build it.
(180000$ total available to the developers)

You might want to consider signing a message from an address that contains the above amount or else it'll look like you're trying to promote your platform in a place other than the "Tokens (Altcoins)" board.
3756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 15, 2020, 08:00:19 AM
Am I the only one who thinks Arsenal is going to win this game?
No, you're not alone [I may be biased].

- A Black Lives Matter logo will be on shirts for the rest of the season
~Snipped~
What do you think?
The right decision at the right time or they shouldn't have made such a decision?
I'm fine with the slogan part and think it's a step in the right direction but not so sure about the logo part for the remainder of the season [it depends on its looks].

these same Arsenal lost a friendly match to a championship side about two days ago and you saying they are going to win Manchester City,
A friendly match means nothing + they don't have any fans and Arteta might know the best way to deal with his former [ish] players at their home ground.

That made my day Cheesy

Man United and Arsenal invited David’s agent - Competition for Bundesliga clubs
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=362669
This probably means nothing but he celebrates like "Nicolas Pépé".
- Some of the Arsenal players also did the same before his move to Arsenal.

Juventus are ready to sell Aaron Ramsey.
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/53029949
I would love to see him back in the Arsenal shirt if he could cut his wages.

imo Cavani can still offer quality performances at the top level and T.silva can be a good back up defender. With the virus limiting the amount teams will want to spend, they will both be good options for teams In Europe, prolly for one season or so.
I'm sure there will be issues regarding their wages.

Rumors:

  • Arsenal's swap deal of "Henrikh Mkhitaryan" for "Justin Kluivert" [source].
    - I have a strong feeling this will happen soon.
  • Arsenal is looking to sell Maitland-Niles [source].
    - I hope this happens.
  • Thomas Partey to Arsenal [source].
    - Not seeing this happening.
3758  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request To cover some issues in our Projekt on: June 14, 2020, 10:46:18 AM
We can send 1,000,000 BTCSH as You be sure that the money will be back in the time .
Just signup in our platform: before sending the money
The 1,000,000 BTCSH it’s not as collateral it’s just to be sure that we give the money back
Just to be clear, you're requesting for a loan with strange collateral [if we can call it that way, I know you mentioned it's not but you're using it as collateral here] that requires the other involved party to sign up on your platform for receiving the so-called 1,000,000 BTCSH? Am I right?

- If "YES", then you're still in control of your worthless coins, not the other involved party.
- The 1,000,000 BTCSH means nothing since it's just your "pre-mined coins".

Who said is fake coin coin wallet will be in 30 Juni live
When you're offering a coin from an incomplete project, it's a fake one.

Since this also counts as indirect promotion for Roobet, are there any requirements like certain amounts of subscribers?
- I do know it's not part of the rules at the moment but wanted to make sure prior to starting the video review.

Update:
No minimum subscribers needed. So long as you have a ranked account here you're good Smiley
Thank you Smiley
3760  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The Netflix of Crypto? on: June 13, 2020, 06:43:34 AM
To my surprise, none of them are accepting crypto as payment method. I've been doing some digging on the web in order to find a video streaming service that would bring the convenience of crypto payments, but I'm out of luck.
Thankfully, there's a workaround with the help of third-party websites that sell gift cards in exchange for crypto-currencies.

Maybe in the future Netflix will decide to accept crypto payments? If it does, I'm thinking it'll accept Bitcoin straightforward, since it's the most popular cryptocurrency in the world today.
I have a feeling, they'll be using [still a big "IF"] one of the popular merchant solutions/payment gateways instead.

Do you think that there will be a "Netflix of Crypto" sometime in the future? Or will current streaming sites accept crypto due their ever-increasing demand from people in the mainstream world?
I think there will be some alternatives to Netflix with crypto payments in the future but either none of them will last that long or they'll fail really bad.
- I'm expecting to see similar results to YouTube alternatives in the crypto-currency world.
- Having said the above things, I believe sooner or later will see the latter part (acceptance) in popular streaming platforms.
