3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 07, 2021, 09:38:56 PM
Having Curry scoring that many points at all games would not be ideal anyway. I mean it is definitely something that I would guess they could do if they want to, but they need to keep the teams on their toes. That is why Klay was so important, if you have only Curry scoring then other teams would double team him, or try to focus their entire defense on him, which he has the talent to be still alright given the right situation but I believe that it would be hard.

With Klay on the floor, the spacing was so great that they usually passed to Klay whenever Curry was getting double teamed, or some other player, nowadays he played so well again that teams tried to defend him the most and nobody considered Poole as a threat, that is how they got him to score so much.
3742  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: November 07, 2021, 09:18:36 PM
more than a upset it’s an important wake up call for the England team, and I believe that this loss will help them raise their standards for the semifinal’s match. Also a very important match for New Zealand today, because they’re up against Afghanistan and a defeat will see them knocked out, so anyone feeling brave enough to wager on Afghanistan?.
I believe that it is a game that I will never understand, I never fully watched it, just highlights to see if I would like it but just like NHL and Volleyball and Tennis, I will not understand it at all and I would probably never watch it, maybe keep on checking some youtube highlight videos time to time of good moves but that's about it, I also do not understand baseball neither.

Some sports are weird, but the logic could be replicated in other sports as well. If a team is not good enough to win a worse team (on paper) then it is usually psychology related, look at NBA right now, Lakers built an amazing team but keep on losing games all the time, why? They are talentless? No because of psychological situations.
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: What books do you recommend for economics? on: November 06, 2021, 09:18:02 PM
I just want to ask you all what books do you read for economics?
Peter Lynch "Beating the street" really changed my view in the world. In fact I could say that it could be one of the main reasons why I got into crypto as well. It is not just simply a book about how to invest, but more about how you should aim at getting richer faster than others do in the general market. If the economy grows at 2% and you got richer 1% then you did not get richer, you got poor. This idea could be sounding like a common sense thing, but not many people focus on that.

In high inflation nations of the world, there are people who get 5-10% increase in salary, and yet the inflation is so high that they are actually getting poorer every single year and getting a worse life because of it. So, learning how to beat the market and get richer is a very important idea and he talks about how he approached the market to achieve this as well.
3744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins not available on Binance. Missing something? on: November 06, 2021, 06:22:02 PM
New into crypto. New into Binance.

I just tried to buy some coins but it seems that they are not in Binance.
If you’re planning to buy any coin, and since you’re a newbie, I will advise you to be buying coins that have high liquidity. Yeah you should buy coins that are listed on top exchanges ,  and not just any random exchange.

As for this coin you’re talking about, I’ve never heard of it before, but maybe you should check it out on coinmarketcap.com and see if it’s there, and if it’s listed on the website you can click on it and look for which exchanges it is listed on. Then after you have seen the exchange I will also advise you to do a research on that exchange and know how good it is. But, if you wouldn’t like to use any other exchange apart from binance then I will advise you to just keep buying the ones that are made available on the binance exchange.
3745  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 04, 2021, 06:41:50 PM
This is not a prediction but just a guess that if bitcoin can achieve new ATH then it should be between now and second week of December, I am quoting this by comparing with 2017 bullrun wherein bitcoin started sky rocketing from November and after third week of December it dropped down, hence I think next 45 days would be crucial.
History may repeat but not withe exact timelines. By considering the current situation of positive atmosphere in this crypto space, I started to believe into the speculations which are claiming that the bull run will last till the mid of next year. So, we might be having enough time to have another ATH and it may not necessarily happen within 2nd week of December like how it did in its last bullish cycle.

A new ATH may happen this week also and at the same time we may happen another small corrections in between time so we need to be prepared to face anything. Definitely this is not a time for FOMO. We have time and the market also into sideways hence making use of dips will help everyone.
3746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 04, 2021, 05:30:51 PM
In fact rule one of going on internet is to avoid social media. I only follow some of the things because we have to check our company's profile and of course because of my search history all the Barca things pop up. And my eyes cannot run and hide from the painful posts Smiley

Definitely know going to get triggered, just probably I must remember not to make my Mondays about looking at those things or maybe even find a way to filter out.
Right now, social media is real place for having some serious destructive place for many I am also having some serious troubles just because of this recently due to my some engagement with projects I have to check them just because of this sometime few things pop up which hurt badly as today we have another time Messi was not in team, and they are facing another bad result which is hurting PSG but peoples against complaining about many things which need some time but nothing else.

Just crying on social media is never been going to help anyone, even these having nothing to do with this all issue as well.
If you try to get used to it, then you are going to be getting better. I believe that we are in a situation where people could literally just go to social media to "expect" triggering stuff, and if you could do that then you are going to be fine. For my job I keep going to social media all the time, it is  not a social media that anyone knows here, it is a place that is totally different and special to my nation and there I keep seeing stuff that should "bother" me, but I keep seeing all those haters and have fun with it because I see more people defending than people who are against it and not even close.

Sure you will see one post that is triggering, but also will see 100+ messages under it that defends what you like as well. This results with me feeling a lot better about the current situation and when you expect this then you are ready about it as well.
3747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: November 04, 2021, 03:09:16 PM
learning by doing in any condition of trading is very important
Learning and trading are two different phases in trading and if you are into still learning then trading in live market is not at all recommended. You should not bother about how much profits you are making while learning but you must not on how often target is reaching and how often stoploss is hitting. If your target is reached more often then that must be the time to trade on live markets.

the coins are unstable and it takes patience and need a right strategy in order to take advantage the market situation.
This is what the situation of crypto markets most of the times. We must need a well tested strategy in order to profit and being emotionally stable along with a perfect risk management will help in profit making.
3748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 04, 2021, 11:30:28 AM
Other than personally knowing a player or patriotism, I could not figure out any other reason to bet on underdogs.
You nailed it. Personally no one might be having any other reason to go betting on underdog other than what you have mentioned. I am just seeing it is like you are getting rewards for your patriotism or for the faith you are showing on a player or team for whatever reasons.

Always betting on underdogs might lead to be losing all of our bankroll sooner or later. Or if you are making good rewards from your betting on underdogs then those player or team is no more underdog, right?

I am seeing betting on underdog and winning massive profits is similar to arbitrage opportunity in trading. very rare but we can enjoy decent profits.
3749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency must adapt in schools/colleges curriculum on: November 04, 2021, 10:45:19 AM
I don't think that teaching cryptocurrency as its own subject is a good idea, not because in it self its is bad but because it kind limits the use of the blockchain technology to the financial and currency use of it
I agree that cryptocurrency must be just another application of blockchain technology and this way schools and universities must adopt first blockchain technology into their curriculum and may have cryptocurrencies as one of the usecase of blockchain technology in real life.

teaching its concepts and its advantages can create a new vision to how people view and do things in the future in many sectors
Yeah, if we need more revolution out of blockchain technology then we must take it to more people which is easily possible if schools and universities include blockchain technology in to their curriculum.

I am seeing in my country there are already lots of courses (both online and offline) are being advertised and I remember some universities already started providing certification based courses as well. So, I guess we are on right path toward the next level of revolution of blockchain technology.
3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin stands to gain when the government prints more currencies on: November 04, 2021, 08:45:02 AM
Several articles have been written on how the government always print more money just to pump the Central currency due to inflations and this has always given Bitcoin and edge over them, we saw the market already heading back to $64,000 which is the highest Bitcoin price since its creation and this further goes to credit the fact that Bitcoin is an anti-inflation currency and is ahead of the central bank traditional paper currency or CBDC.
What are the articles that you are referring to? It would be better if you include few of them by linking them so that we may get more idea on your concerns. Simply, fiats will devalue over the time whereas bitcoin will gain more value. The reason must be supply of these two.

Bitcoin is expected to grow in exponential against time by assuming fiats will lost its buying power. Governments design fiat in a way to be losing so that people will not save it but will invest or spend whereas bitcoin was designed to be a digital gold which will gain value along with demand and also diminishing (towards zero) supply over the time.
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Surviving For Tomorrow on: November 03, 2021, 09:01:00 PM
Even when most altcoins are crashing, a few of the quality ones can give huge gains. I'm compounding my gains by rolling profits into unpumped coins at a cheaper rate.

I don't care how many percentage will be added by year end, I just want to live for tomorrow first as many opportunities are under way.
Until bitcoin remains bullish, you may find yourself successful and massively profit making but not sure that you will be able to maintain with same kind of performance once after bitcoin enter into bearish markets. Because, the entire crypto markets will get collapsed once bitcoins enter into bearish mode. So, either you need to stay safer with your trading by intensifying your technical parts or you may simply stay away from trading.

If you are expecting to make similar profits even bitcoin is not performing well then you will get disappointed. I am just saying all these from the knowledge that I have gather from last 4 to 5 years. So, expect the unexpected and plan up accordingly.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: November 03, 2021, 07:21:27 PM
It is difficult to know which new coins will be good for short, medium or long-term investment among so many new coins.
It is like a gamble to invest in those coins because we do not know how the coin performs during one year.
If we are in the bull run market, it could give a strong possibility for the new coin or token to attract attention from people as many coins, including the new coin, can increase in the short term.
But if that happens in a bear run market, the new coin will be hard to increase and will stay at a lower price for some time.
I agree. As bitcoin started good movements by the last quarter of this year, many altcoins also started to rally similar to bitcoins which made many people to start seeking opinion from this community. I am not sure how many of people like OP might get chances to find out the right now which may get them profits as I also was in similar position but unable to find those rapidly growing coins like shibu or solana.

I bought EOS by 2 years back and if I have save that bitcoins till now then I might have better saving than just holding EOS. So, in search of finding best altcoins, most people do lose and I am one of them. It is really pathetic to lose when some coins are peaking and getting its investors massive profits.
3753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 03, 2021, 05:51:40 PM
Can anyone show me a list of some coins with a good potential like the Ethereum?
Another coin which may grow like ethereum must be having better technology and must be addressing a critical problem of mankind or crypto space. It means do not waste your time and energy for the hunting of ethereum similar coin as it may go ending up in vain in most cases. Also, there could be some coin already might be existing which might get pumped hard to beat ethereum but you cannot find such a coin among 3000 of altcoins and tokens. Instead it would be a better idea to invest with ethereum itself or you may choose bitcoin with year long plans.

If you really want to get into next ethereum then you must invest at least 100 to 200 different coins and tokens which may ensure that you will be catching the next such a coin still it doesn't mean that for every 200 coins there will be a ethereum like high potential coin is being created.
3754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: November 03, 2021, 04:03:31 PM
We all know that in gambling the higher the stakes the more risk is involved. But in a fair game what you are risking is your money, while if you are "close to the Kitchen", as you put it, you are risking your health, your freedom, and even your very life. Regardless of the potential profit, it's not worth it.
Yeah, that must be a valid point. Even a gambler is getting the highest odds, how much they could make? Some 10x or 25x of their bankroll? But if they get into legal actions, that may risk their rest of life; definitely anyone could make multifold of money from other opportunities. Honestly greediness must be playing and leading gamblers to go against their law here. A law abiding gambler never will look for such a fixed match betting for any reasons.

Recently someone tried to contact me in telegram for fixed match betting on one famous crypto gambling platform; not sure how true what they were talking but I immediately blocked them and deleted the chat history.
3755  Economy / Economics / Re: [Coinbase] Bitcoin Collateral = FIAT Loans on: November 03, 2021, 10:05:33 AM
They offer 2% interest on at least one stable coin there so this was only a matter of time before it happened.
This is what I am at looking in OP. I must need the rate of interest at first hand. Still, 2% is monthly or yearly rate? As per my country banks' standard, 2% per month is way too high; I never opt for going with such a big rate. If it is yearly rate, it is definitely a gift for people like me.

You can borrow as much as 40% of the value of the Bitcoin in your account, up to $1,000,000.
Does it means that they are explicitly saying that there are risks with bitcoin up to 70%? In my bank, I am able to get loans up to 80% of my assets; it can be gold or real estate properties, 40% seems like a special case of crypto assets.
3756  Economy / Economics / Re: Would crypto gain full intrinsic value? on: November 02, 2021, 09:49:13 PM
With the high level of volatility and constant fluctuation in market capitalization on crypto currencies would there ever come a time we would trade crypto based on the value it has in it's self and not in exchange for fiat currency. Many countries has now adopted crypto as mode of payment but we are still faced with the issues of price irregularities. If we decide to adopt crypto fully as a global legal tender how do we deal with this price fluctuation.
What we need as data is how many people are using it. The adoption is based on how many people and not how much money. If there are 100 rich people doing 140 billion, that won't be same as 8 billion people doing 20 bucks each or something like that. Which is why I believe that we should be looking at how many people are using it. That is not really the same thing as how many addresses, one person could have multiple address and I have a lot of them just myself as well. Which is why I believe that we should basically try to find the crypto population.
3757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 02, 2021, 09:26:01 PM
According to "Gazzetta dello sport" Pogba has given the priority for his next club: Juventus.

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Juventus/02-11-2021/juventus-semaforo-verde-il-ritorno-pogba-4202188247703.shtml
Pogba to Juventus is definitely something we heard for at least a few years now. He was happy there I believe and he will want to be there for a long time as well. This doesn't mean that it will happen, I still feel like Real Madrid with Mbappe next season could be much much better for him. However if he goes to Juventus that would be better for him as well.

There is rarely any pressure there, at least not at the level of United and he could simply just focus on serie a and winning the title again next year and that's it.
3758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you learn to trade? Did you learn it in a hard way or?...... on: November 02, 2021, 06:58:04 PM
I agree that beginners might find it too hard to treat both profits and losses in a same way but we need to practice it so that we could focus on next trades regardless of what we did in the previous trade. If you celebrate or regret your previous trade then you may miss out another new opportunity.
Even I am into different types of trading for years, I am still unable to come out of my previous trades like the profits or losses I faced on my last trades influencing me somehow. I mean I am taking new decisions based on the vibes I got from previous trade. After a loss, staying away from the market or trading with little volume could be a good thing but out of exciting making big trades after a successful trade, most of the times gets me losses.

I am still learning in harder way. I know the importance of emotionally being stable still I am unable to control it but I guess I am slowly gaining control on my emotions in hard way by losing my capital time to time but not sure I will be a profitable trader before losing all my capital.
3759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop lose trading feature on: November 02, 2021, 02:33:01 PM
Stop loss will indirectly reduce the pain of loss, not seeing too much will not feel regret, this tool is automatic and no emotion
I get your point like we need to go for stoploss without giving any room for emotions and this way, we may not need to regret when the losses are at minimum levels. Yeah, I agree that overall stoploss orders helps us to reduce the losses which must be great thing when heavy losses tend to give us more pain.

There are traders who hates this tool as they are missing opportunities.
People hate stoploss when they watch about bouncing back of market direction after triggering stoploss levels. In my opinion, it may happen when you place stoploss within trend. You must place stoploss only beyond current trend then most times market will not trigger stoploss if there is no change in trend or may not bounce back after triggering stoploss (new trend will continue).
3760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance and Coinbase on: November 01, 2021, 08:30:33 PM
In search of reviews about two popular exchanges(Binance and Coinbase), I came to this site. The site does not look like any kind of scam, but I have never seen similar websites. What do you think this site is and why was it created?
https://binance-vs-coinbase.com/
I don’t see anything wrong with the site, it is just a site that is comparing the two big exchanges in the cryptocurrency market, which is Coinbase and Binance. As long as they are not asking you for anything at all, then it is not a scam.

Although I do know that sometimes there can be some misleading information on the web, so it wouldn’t be bad to also read comparisons/reviews from other websites as well, to be able to verify that the information you’re getting from here is not inaccurate and misleading. It is not good to only rely on one website when it comes to things like this. It is always best to make sure that you’re making use of different sites to be hundred percent sure.
