You know something, all it will take is for someone like Kim Jon Un to condemn these guys and they will be as crazy and hated as the Westboro Baptist Church, maybe more so, even Al Qaeda don't like them.

3742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Making gold from glass on: August 29, 2014, 04:29:53 PM
This is just a form of gold refining where he's taking traces of gold from the glass that he's gotten, it's not actually making gold FROM glass if that makes sense, I think it's just a misleading title, it might be a new chemical process he's discovered though to do this but he isn't actually making gold like the philosopher's stone Tongue. I wasn't aware there was any gold in modern day glass though, there are all sorts of places gold and silver is used where you can get gold/silver from if you know the chemical refining for it, electronic components are one example and then the classic examples are taking broken bits of silver ornaments, vases and things like that, then there's the obvious stuff like coins which have a percentage of silver in them.

Gold in particular I know is often used because it's an excellent conductor of electricity and heat and Jewellers ( Like me Cheesy ) use it because of how soft it is like silver, no idea why anyone would put it in glass though, that's beyond my knowledge.

1,000 people? Oh boy, here we go, they're fabricating poll sampling now in order to make everybody think everyone else is anti-Bitcoin, 1,000 people is not an accurate representation of US consumers, they could have just as easily given the poll to some employees at their company and told them to fill it out.

3747  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Robots to teach in Abu Dhabi school on: August 28, 2014, 06:24:42 PM
That's going to be a shitty way to be brought up in a school, it will definitely cause all sorts of problems, that said at least it will make it easier for kids to take over the classrooms so they can have some freedom in their lives since the robot won't be able to handle them lol Cheesy

I assure you human teachers can cause problems to children aswell. Don't tell me you never heard of abuses in your school from professors. You fear people of tomorrow will be less social because of this shift? I can't say that's for sure, but at least they won't be traumatized.

I suppose so if you think about it like that to be honest, it's not just robots, I'm hardly a technophobe I generally worry about the education children are going to receive now considering the shitty experience I've had and I suspect they're going to have an even shittier education than me. It's less to do with social aspects in life and more to do with the fact that a robot isn't smart enough to answer the kind of questions a child will have about life.

3750  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I update to windows 8/9? on: August 28, 2014, 05:01:27 PM
Stay with Windows 7 I'm sure many of us would have stayed with Windows XP if they hadn't essentially forced users to upgrade by ditching support for it, one thing I will say about Windows 7 is it's a lot easier to install.

Why would they label IS as evil?  They're doing the same exact things, just wearing a different banner.

Because they're different from us! And being different means you're evil! Tongue
3756  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Liberals/Admin not taking isis terrorists seriously on: August 27, 2014, 05:45:33 PM
Who was the one that started Iraq in the first place? Oh wait I know!

If you researched anything about Iraq, you would know that a lot was brewing there and if we had not taken action their whole country would have fallen a lot sooner and would have had no protection and no standing army. As it stands right now they do have a standing army but Obama deserted them. All they need is 3,000+ advisors and tech and radar and spy capabilities and their own army can do what needs to be done. When all us troops pulled out a lot of chaos ensued as what should be done and when and where the enemy is.

When the US left the iraqi army(once again abandoned by a democrat) was disorganized. take away a major structual foundation to an army and it doesnt function.

i know you want to be a lil beach and talk ur hard stuff tho.

l2read i guess?

Yeah, there were also supposed to be nuclear weapons weren't there?

What do you mean nationality? Passport? Or ethnicity? I'm half Irish so I'm technically eligible for an Irish passport if that's what you mean.
3759  Other / Off-topic / Re: i need a website done my my demands. where to turn? on: August 27, 2014, 04:25:46 PM
Or you could just make a thread in the market/services section.
3760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a inherent Ponzi Scheme, please correct me if I'm wrong on: August 27, 2014, 01:10:14 PM
No, the supply isn't built to continually diminish, it's built to stay exactly the same, that's the whole point of a deflationary currency, if miners were allowed to infinitely create coins then we'd end up just like the dollar, why else do you think a Bitcoin is worth $500+ now? It isn't because Bitcoin is necessarily a valuable currency, it's because they've hyperinflated the dollar so much that it's so expensive to buy something like Bitcoin which is in limited supply.

As for buying early, yeah, so the fuck what? Of course they benefit more, because the people who are buying in early are taking the most risk, when you buy into something early you don't necessarily have any idea of what's going to happen in the next month never mind year and you have to live with the fact you might lose several hundred. This is reality, you don't have the government price fixing or the central banks artificially propping prices up to make people think what they're holding is worth as much as they've paid for, you have to do your research and make calculated decisions.

You, like many other people also need to look up what a ponzi scheme actually is because it's just complete bullshit when used in regards to Bitcoin.
