3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 29, 2023, 05:08:44 AM
Some smaller platforms might have unique games you won't see elsewhere, communities more suited for the kind of person you are. Or more personalized service.

Smaller platforms put more work in their customer service and that's why many people get attracted to them, they're new so they'll be looking for ways to get people to use their casinos, which will make them very nice in attending to their customers.

This behavior make their customers not to suspect a thing when they're using the casinos, they might include games that aren't available on other casino sites and have bonuses that'll attract people and they start preferring to use the casino.

With the customers caught up in all this good experience offerred by the minor sites, then they take advantage of that and scam them, this steps can be repeated again with a new casino and they'll be successful because humans can be easily deceive.
3742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 11:59:14 PM
The mother and the son after gambling away 5.6 million naira, that is about $8,000. When the reality dawned on them, they gave false information in petition, accusing someone of fraudulently transferring the fund from their Opay account to the sport betting account without their authorization.

Could this be a case of making someone pay for what they didn't eat or a case of double standard.

Both the mother and son are fraudster because they just try to frame someone of stealing their money when they're the one wasting it. They should have just come out clean for gambling the money and losing all, but why will someone lose that amount.

Nigerian families don't make that much money due to the poor condition of their country's economy so why will someone gamble away millions. This people have to be punished severally so others can learn and not go around accusing people wrongly.
.
Gambling should be your personal decision and not to be influence by anyone so you shouldn't be blaming anybody for your losses. If you're still blaming people for your loses when you gamble then you need to stop gambling immediately.
3743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 28, 2023, 11:15:32 PM
I am not a gambling addict but some friends are making me look like one because I gamble less and they gamble more, it all started when we got into an argument that investing in Bitcoin is not the same as gambling, my friends who are gamblers, not full-time but more of a gambler than I am, are claiming that there is no difference between investing and gambling, they said if all you doing is investing money on Bitcoin you are no different to those who are gambling in a casino.

Your friends are very wrong, there's a very big difference between gamblers and investors although we do have people that gamble with their investments and this are different from real investors a d just those people looking for quick riches.

Anybody that doesn't research before they invest or take advise for their investment from random strangers on the internet either form watching youtube or TikTok videos are just gambling as they don't have solid reasos for their investment.

They're just been hopeful and that's how gamblers feel, they aren't sure of profits but only hope they get some when they win, investing gives guarantee of profits provided you have patience but gamblers are quick money seekers so they can't have patience.
3744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government on: April 26, 2023, 05:33:38 AM
A friend of mine was of the opinion that the government cannot put an end to Bitcoin because it unfortunately cannot be traced to a particular person or organization which could be sued for bringing about the currency or Blockchain.
If this is true does it mean that the identification of Satoshi as a person or organization will pose a treat to the existence of Bitcoin or otherwise

It would had pose a threat if satoshi was involved as the face of Bitcoin from the very beginning but since he didn't have anything to do with the adoption of Bitcoin like working as the CEO of the company as we have with most altcoins, then he won't pose as a threat.

The market might just react negatively if his identify get exposed but soon the market will realized his presence has no effect to the growth of the project then the market will recover. Bitcoin has grown beyond one person having control over it, it's a community project.

The death of satoshi, doesn't end the use of Bitcoin unlike with other altcoins that immediately something was to happen to the founder or CEO of the company, price would start dumping since the future of the project is now an uncertainty but with Bitcoin it isn't so.
3745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: April 26, 2023, 05:15:43 AM
Hello guys!
Today I was thinking about Bitcoin and where it will finally go up. And I came to the conclusion that I don't really understand what is the right thing to do with Bitcoin after it will "go to the moon".
So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?

It's a good thing you're asking yourself this questions now as it means you're preparing yourself so you'll know what to do in the future when Bitcoin price increases and not rush into followings the crowd to do what they'll be doing when Bitcoin reaches high price again.

I won't sell because $70k is just a tip of the price that Bitcoin can go, we're looking at a more higher price in the bull season because Bitcoin always increase in a very big way whenever there's a bull market so I'll be looking at prices of $150k.

Before investing, you should know your sell target and what to do with the profits you're making, You can decide to sell some portion of your Bitcoin and do other investment that can be used to bring in steady income when the market is very bad like in the bear market.
3746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should wait before owning my bitcoin on: April 26, 2023, 05:03:51 AM
Most probably i think you should wait before owning a bitcoin. Make a research first and study further the market, enhance your skills as well in investing. No one can really tell what will happen to the market if it will go down or if it will goes up. Wait for the market to go downwards and set a target price on your target investment. While waiting you can stake a stable coin so that your funds would earn some percentage while waiting for your target price of bitcoin. Do not be so desperate just keep calm and have more patience.

If you're advising someone to invest in Bitcoin that's a decentralized project, you shouldn't be suggesting they also be investing in a centralized project like stablecoin and asking them to stake it. Stablecoin are not good project to be investing in.

Be careful of the high APY those stablecoin promises when you stake your coins with them either through exchange or their staking platform, they can fail you at anytime or the value of your investment goes to zero because of the collapse of the stablecoin.

Buy Bitcoin, you shouldn't be waiting to buy Bitcoin instead you're meant to buy then wait. You have to ignore the price movement since you're not a trader, your concern should be profiting on the long run.
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: April 24, 2023, 06:44:09 AM
Can you tell us another advantage of opening an account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook?

Comfortability has to be the one of the top benefits of using Bitcoin for gambling, with Bitcoin you can easily use fund your account and when I want to withdraw, that's also done easily from the comfort of the house.

You then don't have to be worried about recieving the money since blockchain technology has been made withdraw irreversible. Also the transaction is fast and anonymous as you have said and that makes it very interesting to those was don't want to associate themselves with gambling.

The society serotype people that gamble so many won't want to be associated and if the fiats were been used, it'll be hard to not get associated either through depositing or withdrawals from the casino platforms.
3748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 24, 2023, 06:34:22 AM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day

If you mean to be betting daily and expecting a return of $100 then that's impossible, gambling has no guarantee way of making profits. Gambling is just you been lucky and some small skills and experience playing in your favor.

With that you can't expect same result everything you bet. You might redo the same thing you did the last time you made a profit and lose and that's gambling. You can have other activities that you in the casinos that aren't gambling to make a fixed income.

If you're participating in the casino affiliate marketing program in which you introduced the casinos to new members and get a commission then you can get fixed income and be making $100 daily depending on your influencing skills.
3749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 23, 2023, 11:11:42 PM
Knowledge can be of several types such as knowledge from books, knowledge from various online sources, knowledge from friends etc. Knowledge gives a person courage to succeed in that thing. but experience builds a person's confidence in that thing. when someone wants to learn about Bitcoin and he takes the help of someone who has knowledge about Bitcoin then he can learn as much as he can.  If he takes help from an experienced person he can learn more than that.  So I personally think experience is more important than knowledge in trading

Both of them has to be very important and they're both needed for someone to become successful when investing in Bitcoin. Before investing, we have to make ourselves to have knowledge on what we're investing in.

Investing without a knowledge of what we're investing in is just gambling since we're only trying our luck and waiting on the outcome. We have to do our personal research before we invest in Bitcoin and when that is down we get knowledge.

The experience plays its part when we're now involved in the market, by this time we'll need to learn from others experience which prevents us from making mistakes or learn from our very own mistakes and take decision that'll make us successful.
3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 11:03:50 PM
Most recent posts on this forum such as
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5449800.0
Seems more like few persons are scared that they may loss to their Bitcoin hodlings due to the recent drops in price of Bitcoin
This is very understandable but as a Bitcoin investor you should know that with the series of price changes Bitcoin has encountered over the years we can say that it rises in value more than it drops .
Therefore I want to urge all my fellow bitcointalkers to not lose interest in holding because of these little drops in price  keep holding your Bitcoin .It will definitely boom soon

That users that made that post most be new to the market because an old users wouldn't make such post. What we are experiencing in the market is just a correction and not a dump yet they're the user is getting scared.

What then would had happened if they were in the market when Bitcoin had dumps that lasted for days, they probably would had sold all their Bitcoin holdings. We only lose when we sell but don't if we keep on holding.

If you sell your Bitcoin now, you have lost as you're selling at the bottom instead of selling at the top when Bitcoin was trading above $60k. It's too late now to sell, just keep on holding and you'll be smiling sooner than you expected.
3751  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 22, 2023, 05:27:36 AM
Do you think that gambling have a place with the metaverse in the future? I had a dream about being able to gamble online with people that aren't living close to me, we meet in the metaverse and it looks real, I know that sometimes when you think positively about something it is possible to dream about it.

Gambling does have a future with metaverse betting which we could say has alot to do with Artificial intelligence which is AI. At the moment we have things like your dream going on in the gaming world and that people from different locations can play virtually,

If games are been played virtually then there can also be bets done virtually that people from different locations can come together to bets on different games. The bets could be in the games they're playing or just logging in to bet against themselves.

There's no limitations to virtual reality which AI is a big part off, we'll see more things we can do with the technology in the future as the metaverse gets fully adopted into our daily lives, the gaming market are been conquered at the moment.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 22, 2023, 05:18:10 AM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses

Referral bonuses are enjoyable when you have a very large audience that you can convinced to register using your referral code and bet using the casinos that you are advertising for them to use with your referral codes. If you don't have large audience forget about referrals.

You can't be having just one or two friends and be expecting your referral earnings to be big. I know people who are making it big from referrals, they're influencers and they have very large audiences which they can convince them to move to any gambling sites that they're advertising.

Another thing people forget to consider before embarking on referral bonus is to observe their audience and understand their gambling passion. If your referrals don't gamble regularly then you won't benefits from the referral programs as well.
3753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live casino over provably fair games. on: April 22, 2023, 05:10:01 AM
I think you are trying to compare Live casino over provably fair games as against your winning and losing experience and based on your post, it appears as if you are also part of your challenge likewise most gamblers experience. So while gambling in whatever form, you have to understand that you are up against your luck and emotions. By the way gambling is meant to be for fun  Grin don't put all your financial hope on it.

Two mistakes gamblers make, first they don't play as fun but instead they want to make money quickly and they get pressure into making mistakes and they lose that particular bets, it doesn't matter whatever game they're playing. It could be live casino games or others.

Second, they don't stop when they're losing, instead they chase after their lost and want to make profits to cover up, they don't realized that when chasing losses they aren't playing with clear eyes and can get easily pressured to make the wrong bets in whatever games they're playing.

If you're losing just stop playing, and come back another day to continue playing. Gambling shouldn't be over done or you can get easily influenced and it turns into an addiction which could take a very long time to get over.
3754  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: April 19, 2023, 08:02:08 PM
No way you will invest in BTC today and you will not have something good to eat because, investment is like a seed planted in a due season to expect something good in the future. Is it a good thing to invest or is good to continue looking for what to eat?
What do you think.

Investing in Bitcoin is the surest way to secure a future for yourself and your family, but there will be no future if you're not alive to witness it tomorrow which is why it's important to take care of yourself today so you can be healthy for tomorrow.

If you haven't eaten, you'll die at some point or come up with disease that'll need money to treat in the future. It doesn't make much sense to make money today just to throw them away tomorrow for treating illnesses. If you haven't eaten, don't invest.

Make sure whatever you're investing isn't what you should be using to take care of yourself and your family. In as much as tomorrow is important, today matters as well. Only invest spare money and if you don't have any, look for means to get them before investing.
3755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: April 19, 2023, 07:53:14 PM
And it's pretty obvious that all these Twitter people post specifically for people who don't have a good knowledge about crypto because most of these posts are just basics and hype.
So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?

I don't think we'll see an end to influencers, we'll always have them around the industry since we have social media and projects will need influencers help in shilling their project to their followers and general public for publicity and getting their project to larger audience.

What I think will happen is the reduction in the influencers and we won't be having people listing to them that much, people will soon realize that this influencers are mostly just shilling and not promoting good project so they'll begin losing audience.

Influencing is now a career path that people study so it won't stop existing, newbies are mostly their victims and they believe whatever they see online so this influencers will always have those to deceive but the number will be reduced.
3756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 19, 2023, 07:44:41 PM
He buys into the idea but I'm still having doubts. I don't want to look like a fraud when things don't work out. I mean, I can speculate about the market all I want, but I can't be sure what tomorrow brings.
So should I go ahead and advise him to buy Bitcoin or I should leave him to come to me himself? Because he will buy it if I ask him to.

Some individuals needs help in pushing them to achieve some financial goals, if you love that fiend I won't advise you abandon him. Keep telling him about Bitcoin and how it's different from the other cryptocurrency that he bought until he understands.

Don't think you telling him Bitcoin is different will convince him because it would had been the same things those that advise him to buy those altcoins told him too. Show him some proofs, show him the chart history of Bitcoin and explained all the recover Bitcoin did after crashing.

Make the friend understand that investing in Bitcoin is a very long term project and since he already has patience and consistency, it would be of interest to him and he might come around. Don't give up on him but don't pressure him to invest either.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 15, 2023, 07:58:02 AM
No matter what country you live in, in the current context, you cannot write your name on the list of riches with one BTC.  Now the price of one Bitcoin is around $31$. Let's assume that by the end of this year, one BTC will be worth $60K. If you convert this $60K to the local currency of your country, your life will not be single with the amount of money. But I think you should never think that you will become rich with one BTC.

We have third world countries individuals on the forum and that $60k is worth millions in their country. After they convert the Bitcoin to their local currencies, they don't have to spend all the Bitcoin. They can reinvest in other things that can make them rich.

Or they can continue holding the Bitcoin until it increases higher in price, Bitcoin is predicted to reach $100k in the next bull market and with $100k in some of this countries is a very big money that they can be called millionaires.

But I don't think we can achieve this in 2023, it'll take more than the end of year for Bitcoin to increase to a good amount to give us good profits, we have to wait for the bull market to come before we can estimate how high Bitcoin can go.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 15, 2023, 07:50:26 AM
Hello everyone!
I think it would be good if we can convince these people that they are wrong. I know that an obvious way to do it would be an education, which will help A LOT. But as for now, do you think there are other ways to change these people's opinions?
Like would it be good if we could create a system that somehow will make the life of criminals who use Bitcoin harder?

The issue with Bitcoin is that it's been associated with altcoins and they're the ones scamming yet Bitcoin is getting the bad reputation. All the failed altcoins that crashed due to greed are affecting the general market.

It'll be very hard to distinguish Bitcoin from others as people will always call them cryptocurency when referring to the market. We have to do our best in letting whoever we see making this false accusations about Bitcoin to understand the truth.

Every currency can be misused and right now the advantages of Bitcoin is been misused by mostly the scammers and that's the reason behind the bad reputation. We have to always let critic understand what Bitcoin really is all about whenever we encounter them.
3759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Speculation & Gambling" - Warren Buffett Critisize on: April 15, 2023, 07:26:40 AM
How would you respond to Warren Buffett's anti-Bitcoin comments?

Buy more Bitcoin. Buying more Bitcoin each time this negative comments are made towards Bitcoin is the best respond and then keep on holding until those bitcoin are worth more in the future before selling.

Warren Buffett doesn't like Bitcoin and he has been making that clear from the first time he was interview on Bitcoin. I remember some public figure in the Bitcoin community requested to take him to dinner to explain what Bitcoin was and I think he declined.

Warren Buffett still believe in the traditional way of investing that has to do with investing in things like stock real estate. He has a hard time believing in new technology as well so him criticizing Bitcoin isn't a new habit of his.
3760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 13, 2023, 11:00:58 AM

I believe everyone on this forum has made both good and bad decisions in terms of investing in altcoins. I recently made a mistake buying a lot of Dogecoins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo into the Doge logo. Price was surging and due to FOMO, I bought a lot at the price of $0.099 and afterwards it started to dump like hell. If I continue to hold Dogecoins, the price might be dumping even lower but if I sell them now, the losses become concrete and I'll never have a chance to win back. Have you ever had the same experience ? What did/would you do ? Please share your opinions. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please contact me if you have any inquiry.

Everybody who has invested in an altcoins has had that experience and that's because it keeps repeating itself everytime. I did a very big mistake by selling my dogecoin in the past but I won't be making that mistakes again.

I didn't buy as the price was rising but I own dogecoin that I bought last year and I'll be holding until the end of next bull market. You should hold yours too. What's the worst that can happen, you lose your capital and that's all.

When investing in altcoins, always investment the amount that are your spares because altcoins has no guarantee of a future profits. Any project can scam at any moment even though they have very high market value, example Terra Luna.
