As long as the condition of people, especially for new things, still expects something instant without learning more about Crypto, I think influencers will still continue to exist in terms of influence and will actually continue to mushroom because there are many people like that.
The laziness of people in learning something, especially for those who have minimal literacy, has always been the biggest reason for the existence of influencers like this, even though if we want to learn more, such things can still be minimized, it's just that when there is a lot of laziness for new people then of course such things will never disappear.

I made a post about crypto influencers not that long ago talking about how people still trust them despite all the cringe and stupid stuff they post.
In the the last post, after reading your comments, I came to conclusion that most of the people who follow crypto influencers are:
1) Normies (or lazy people who don't want to do research and want to follow trend)
2) Bots
3) Bitcoin uneducated people

Correction:
1) Corrupted souls (celebrities, social media figures, sponsored youtubers, etc)
That is all. These are the only kinds of people who influence cryptocurrency. They are corrupt and there is nothing else to it. Here is their method:
1. Sell themselves and probably their true self out for a personality that a following will like
2. Create content that the mainstream audience will surely consume
3. Get sponsored by a large entity to do something that will probably detriment their following at one point or another.
4. Repeat until their following feels betrayed by the person they once enjoyed viewing or even looked up to.

Normies and bitcoin uneducated people would more likely be those who are effected by crypto influencers. It's not surprising that crypto influencing (and influencing in general) reached peak effectiveness during CoronaVirus/COVID lock-down/isolation periods, when mental health was surely at its lowest for the populations of those countries imposed on COVID sanctions to "stay inside".

We can see that there are more and more programs about Bitcoin awareness and crypto education. More people are getting interested in what bitcoin/crypto actually is. And one of the signs of Bitcoin adoption is the promotion of Bitcoin education.

I think in the next few years, influencers can lose their "influence" over uneducated people because they're gonna be fewer and fewer of these people on the internet. And I don't think that bots and normies are sustainable audiences so I think influencers will see a hard time soon.

And overall, bitcoin education will decrease people's need for influencers simply because they will already have all the knowledge needed and all these Twitter posts about "PUMP IS COMING" will sound pretty stupid. And you shouldn't be the most educated person to see it. And it's pretty obvious that all these Twitter people post specifically for people who don't have a good knowledge about crypto because most of these posts are just basics and hype.

I agree completely with all of this. I have not done any thorough research, though from general online and offline observation it does seem like crypto influencing/influencing in general is having a much lesser effect on people than what it was before.

There will always be gullible sheep unfortunately. For as long as there are platforms to influence, there will always be people who will be influenced. I do believe that the decline has started and we should all be thankful for that.

I don't want to go too far about this because media influencers always have their ways of getting and attracting people's attention. The more we grow in knowledge the more they also diverse a means for people to believe them and moreover there are lots of population in the world and still some people aren't yet exposed to the internet.

There are people who still don't have the knowledge of bitcoin or digital currency which I believe they are the people who lives at the interior villages where they have no modern facilities which includes; Poor network, lack of electricity, poor media communication and many more.

Whenever these people hear's about all new technology's it sounds so strange to them and most of them who are little exposed may want to visit the internet (google, facebook, twitter, Ig ect) to source information, any information gotten from internet might be seen 100 percent right for such people.

In summary, there's no way to prevent influencers from spreading whatever information they feels like sharing. Alternatively as an educated individual we (you) are could go deeper in making your findings and research before either or whether to believe in any news from influencers.

When they have more and more followers, it will be a good weapon to continue to influence many people to follow their advice.
Like the clown saying the pump is coming, the choice of coins that must be bought, and many more.
People who are unfamiliar with crypto might get interested and start following him.

Almost all influencer platforms have started to share their knowledge and advice on crypto, but don't take all advice at face value, it's worth researching.
Some dips are necessary, as the market has been strong enough to stay above for a long time.

Well, I do not believe the real/honest influencers will ever fall assuming this is about those who can influence the price of Bitcoin/crypto & other things here. The issue is with false influencers or people who are nolonger able to influence things in Crypto space.
So, the false ones will fall while the real/honest ones will rise or continue to rise.

Cryptocurrency market influencers are fading away due to various factors.
1) First of all, most of them do not have a solid knowledge of cryptocurrencies. They use their influence to hype projects and paint a bright future even though they know that all cryptos are just startups. The risk of investing in them is huge.
2) Crypto influencers don't have solid trading knowledge and try to mislead the community to profit in a sophisticated way. They use financial instruments, using their own money to put people at risk for profit.
3) They don't have many stable income sources, most of which come from PR for projects. This becomes obsolete as the community gets smarter and faster than they think.
4) They go bankrupt as quickly as they get rich from their unethical behavior. Their financial management is poor and they gradually drift away from the community.
5) They don't bring value to the community and they get back with a drop in followers.

Regardless of where the world is heading, influencers have a role to play. They may be fewer in number, but they will still find a way to influence others. Technology is not yet available everywhere; certain regions in developing countries have no notion what it is all about. When technology advances to that point, we may still see people falling under the spell of those influencers before they gain a grasp of bitcoin education later.

You can never get everyone to be exactly the same. As you stated, more people will still accept the advise of such influencers. Some may even make it appear personal, as if they had something to gain by following those influencers.

The most accurate post in this thread I've seen so far. I don't think they are influencers! They want a commission from users signing up and investing, and at the same time, they are making money from a few more sources. They are making money by advertising the product and from views. All they care about is money. Even they promote Ponzi schemes knowing that their followers will lose money. They turn off the comment of their video if people start to complain.

You can't fight them. Ignoring them is not a fight. You can ignore them because you know what they are doing. But newcomers always want to learn about Tech, Crypto, Bitcoin, etc. Unluckily, those clowns always get the first page of the search result. They will exist until the end of the world. I don't think crypto influencers are going away any time soon, because there will be always gullible people who does not know all the extend of the scams one can find on internet, that is specially true on people who has certain age and do not understand that Crypto is not magic and cannot generate a passive income of two figures in a consistent way.

I personally know the case of a mother who lost $30k to a ponzi. 

It would take several technological companies and social media to get together and put explicit Terms of services on the table to contain people who just want to scam their followers.

I agree with you statement because I feel same about those influencers. Their main targets are those greedy people. Those fake gurus do their planning in very proper manner that those greedy people won't notice the manipulation that they are going through. Once they fall into the trap of the influencer, they will blindly go with the call and purchase the shit-coins that can go 100% down anytime.

We can fight those fake gurus by educating the newbies through Youtube and other social media platforms. If those fake influencers are using the social media for manipulation then we can also use it to produce quality material that will help those uneducated investors, or I must say those greedy fellows.

nope. they are here to stay. while they appreciate altcoins, they appreciate BTC the most. so those altcoins they are trying to promote are just thier sort of added interest to the crypto subjects.

Op you sounded objective, but you will be if not one now a bitcoin influencer. So are you excluding yourself? You don't have to sound offensive to the bitcoin influencers, they are not doing a bad job but it is their part to promote bitcoin on their end. But if they are not doing the right thing then they should be castigated for what you have said.

Now a days very small number of individuals follows crypto influencers and these small number of individuals are those who cannot do anything for themselves but they want to get profit without any hard work but in my opinion following blindly can sometime become risky because of unawareness of the fact.

Crypto influencers need one thing in common to grow their followers and that is making constant videos, imagine talking about all the good projects a week ago and you need to make new content this week, there is no way you won't end up talking about shit projects that are presently on a small pump before the dump.

In most cases, influencers are just like you, so it's your job to do your own research and avoid bad projects. Most crypto projects won't last long, so use your brain to make better decisions. They are often getting something out of it in return, so you should not always believe them

It's because those that have aged in the market and relied too much with those crypto influencers have experienced themselves fell. And those new sets of new people that are too lazy to know what they're doing, they'll follow the cycle and that's to rely with the crypto influencers too.

People will just learn after they fell and that's why there's so much to learn based on the experiences that we've got. Without such, we'll never recognize the wrong styles and things that we do on this market and that is to rely only to ourselves and with our capability of doing researches.

There is a reason that you can not find those bitcoin influencers on this forum. If there knowledge would really be that deep then they would for shure be able to discuss on this forum (that was founded by Satoshi). Since they however usually only want to:

a) Sell you something
b) want to earn money with their videos

Their focus is on one of the things above. If you want to sell a product you will need to talk a lot about it. Usually the reason for the advertising is also that the product is shit and nobody buys it if they do not advertise. If they want to make money on their videos, they will usually buy a lot of fake followers to get some credibility and then post clickbait stuff that attracts a lot of people that have no clue about anything.

I don't think we'll see an end to influencers, we'll always have them around the industry since we have social media and projects will need influencers help in shilling their project to their followers and general public for publicity and getting their project to larger audience.

What I think will happen is the reduction in the influencers and we won't be having people listing to them that much, people will soon realize that this influencers are mostly just shilling and not promoting good project so they'll begin losing audience.

Influencing is now a career path that people study so it won't stop existing, newbies are mostly their victims and they believe whatever they see online so this influencers will always have those to deceive but the number will be reduced.

The problem for now is that there are too many naive people who would find it very difficult to say they fell.
