Gogo - I'm not a rep for any of the books. It's better to ask them.

You want me to ask sbobitcoin.com where posters have posted about their experience using sbobitcoin.com?

You have continually mentioned that sbobitcoin.com has a strong presence on the forums.

I asked you several times if you can steer me to posts which users of sbobitcoin.com have made.

You then tell me you're not a rep for any of the books, and I should ask them.

Also, I ask you:

"When you refer to sbobitcoin's presence on forums - Are you referring to bettors who used them posting about the experience, or to Sbotbitcoin making posts about their own service?

If the former, where can I find those posts?"

And you respond with the typically incomprehensible "just posting."

It's unfortunate that this list of books is not being maintained by someone of at least average intelligence and with better than average communication skills.

I also have really not heard much at all about sbobitcoin.com.  I can think of like 5 other books with a lot more presence on the forums.  Not giving anyone a hard time here, just stating my experience.
I definitely don't take it as giving anyone a hard time. I got caught up looking like a lawyer for SBOBitcoin. They'll be downgraded if people have bad experiences with them.

Coinbet stuck their neck out with advertising on the Reuters board in Times Square. The backlash from this will have a lot to say for the future of bitcoin gambling. Coinbet is very well funded and seems to be taking the lead for the American market. I don't think it will be long before legislature will make a decision on bitcoin gambling in the US.

Coinbet is a great company, but $349 for a press release with an ad displayed long enough for them to take a photo doesn't really count as advertising in Times Square.
They are the most transparent of all the bitcoin books. There are many articles and interviews in major publications.
Nothing that you can't achieve with a press release.

Thank you for taking the time to research books. I do agree with most of the ratings you've given. Smiley
Thanks. You do a great job too.

They are the most transparent of all the bitcoin books. Coinbet was interviewed and that article has passed around in many of the major publications. They are my favorite book to watch as far as progress. Coinbet started off green but they are learning on the fly and accepting poster suggestions. There's an article that stated they have revolutionary ideas and I'm believe them.

Charlie Robert - I would like to play at the 3 books which sbobitcoin is an agent for.
But the history of internet gambling is a history in many cases of people having their deposits stolen.

Transparency is needed, the more the better.

Gogo - Not directed at me but BetPanAm, Aces Gold, Cascade. BetonSports. WSEX. Legends. Books that SBR had rated "A" and "B" at one time. These are books that were highly transparent that ran away with our funds. There is very little information on almost all of the bitcoin books.

I've been using nitrogen for a week or so now and have been pretty impressed with the set up.  They seem to have more offerings then anyone else, they have a live chat which seems to be checked on by site employees periodically, 0 confirmation deposits which is great, and very fast payouts.  The grading on unique bets (MMA, all star game, olympics, ect) is faster then on a lot of other btc books I've used, but still sometimes takes 20-45 minutes.  Not ideal, but understandable seeing as they have to be manually graded and you can always bug them on the live chat and speed up the process.  The only other downside is the small max bet, but the max bet for every event is clearly listed and apparently you can get your limits increased (I haven't tried as I've yet to have a need to wager over half a coin on any single wager).  Overall it seems like a very solid book and I don't see any reason to not give them all of my btc action.
thank you

In my opinion, bitcoin sports books will supplant post up books. Bitcoin books are far superior as far as pay outs. My feeling is that the post up forums do not want to take on advertising from bitcoin books. They know this will erode advertising from the post up books.

Peeps Place - "Because SBObitcoin has been so prevalent on the forums ..."

Are you referring to bettors who used them posting about the experience, or to Sbotbitcoin making posts about their service?

If the former, where can I find those posts?
SBOBitcoin also has a presence in post up gambling forums. Most bitcoin books have stuck to bitcoin forums for the most part.

Thanks for some of the input above on Bitbook. We are getting back on track.

Gogo- An affiliate and agent are two different things.

I asked why the company they said they are a part of does not mention them on their website?
And why the agent division for the company they say they are a part of does not list them?

you have to be joking.

I apologize to all for argumentative tone but got caught up in Gogo's false accusations and misquotes.

This is the most important part

This is a community effort. We need many voices to properly grade a book. Did you receive a payout less than an hour after your request? Let’s hear about it. Was your email ignored? That needs to be made public. Big problems all start out small. A sportsbook that handles the little fires will not see the bigger fires that can destroy the book.

It's exactly what you said.

If they are tied to these companies, why aren't they mentioned on their websites?
Of course they aren't listed on Pinnacle's website.

If someone has a negative experience with SBOBitcoin as far as a payout or grading issue, then we will try to validate the complaint.

A responsible list of the books would attempt due diligence BEFORE there is a problem, not after.
This is something you refuse to do, and instead keep attempting to obfuscate.

Due diligence was done. A book is only as good as it's last payout. This may help to explain it.

Cascade. BetonSports. WSEX. Legends. All powerful brands in the sports betting world. All now gone, taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in post-up funds with them.

Bitcoin books have filled the void, but most do not have the long-term track record that inspires confidence. We aim to fill that void. The Ratings Guide will focus on these bitcoin sportsbooks. How quickly they pay out. How reliable they are. And how much trust one deserves.

Confidence is developed in many ways. Good customer service. Quick grading. Reliable websites that do not have downtime. And most important of all: quick, no-hassle payouts on demand.

Welcome to the Peeps Place.com Ratings Guide. We look forward to hearing from you.

Gogo- We can spend all day on this if I have to keep answering your questions with obvious answers. You seriously want to know why Pinnacle doesn't advertise SBOBitcoin at this time?
3777  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings for all the bitcoin sports books on: February 19, 2014, 02:00:07 AM
Gogo- All the Bitcoin books are new. There is very little regulation if any. A rating is just an opinion that will be changed by fact and opinions of others.

As explained in the review for SBOBitcoin, they are an agent that is closely tied with SBOBET. All the licensing information for SBOBET and PinnacleSports is available. As with any agent, as well as most pure Bitcoin books, they want to give out as little as possible. We do our homework. Gogo couldn't be more wrong with his assertions.

"All the licensing information for SBOBET and PinnacleSports is available."

I have no fears of SBOBET or Pinnacle stiffing a customer. But I would not be depositing my money directly with either book.
I do have fears of someone I don't know holding my money.
That increases when they state connections with other companies, and it's impossible to verify, and the other companies they state they have ties with are sketchy themselves.

"As with any agent, as well as most pure Bitcoin books, they want to give out as little as possible."

I wasn't trying to verify anything they had not stated themselves. I was not trying to have them give out anything.

"We do our homework."

Obviously you've done none.

"Gogo couldn't be more wrong with his assertions."

The only thing I've asserted is that thus far there are several red flags.

Rather than answer any of the issues I've raised, you double talk and/or try to change the subject.

As I asked in my first post about them - can you verify their ties to these companies?
If they are tied to these companies, why aren't they mentioned on their websites?

Of course you cannot verify any agent or pure bitcoin book. If you read my review I said because SBOBitcoin is so prevalent on the forums without backlash from either PinnacleSports or SBOBET, it leads one to believe that the ties are close. My opinion was stated. The ratings will now be changed upon opinions of those playing with the books.

Future upgrade and downgrades of ratings will be in the hands of the posters.
