Perhaps I can find some help here. I am trying to set up 2 factor authentication, on coinlenders, Havelock investments, and bitfunder. So I have the app on my smart phone and I scan the image and it detects which site and account that I am trying to link too. But when I go to verify by typing the first password that is given into the site. It keeps coming back and saying that the secret key given is not the same that the website has. Would there be any reason that my Google authenticator app is giving the wrong number?

You most likely have adblock or noscript or something preventing the google auth JS execution.
Google auth does not use Javascript

For some reason auto time update was not enabled on my phone. When I turned it on it worked fine. Thank you tradefortress for your help with that. I will deposit more money to support you now. Lol

First, please make sure you used the right number for the right site. Then make sure your device time is correct, as it is time based.

I was definitely using the right number. And just in case I tried all of them. I will check my system time next, that's a good idea. I am currently traveling on vacation so I will check when I stop and post results here.

Thanks

I am not sure about the feasability of something like this, but what about working with "weexchange" so that people can move money in and out of bitfunder with relative ease and not having to wait for confirmations?  I like to park coins there inbetween my investing and would love to add about 30 more to the 20 or so I already have there, but I also want to have them readily available on bitfunder incase I see some cheap AM shares or something else that catches my eye.  Just a suggestion, although if the whole point of this venture is that you dont want people moving their coins in and out very often(in order to keep a balance to lend) then this idea may not be smart.  But still thought I would suggest as it may bring in a hoard of new funds where people can park coins for some time.

Just wait for Inputs.io Smiley

AHH, sorry, must have gotten ahead of myself.  Sorry just trying to help Smiley

Do you need any help with the programming?  I have dabbled in it with various things, by no means an expert but it seems like you are using wordpress which is a pretty easy program to work with.

Well I would be happy to pay for plays eventually, if the streak that your putting together continues to pay off.  You have a good start and if your able to keep it up, expect me to be happy to play.  Any thoughts on pricing and/or a refund if your pick loses?

I would imagine it would be a subscription either monthly or yearly like some others offer which means no refunds, he is just giving you his study and betting is up to you.

I would possibly be interested in a by sports bet NFL/CFB type offer also.

Some places offer refunds of the purchase price for losing bets, it is on a game by game basis of course, this is something that I would like to see implemented if it wasnt a subscription based.  To be clear, the amount I bet is up to me, but he would refund the amount that I paid to him for the bet that lost not my bet amount.

3792  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin tax and regulation experts? Make some BTC for your knowledge! $$$ on: June 26, 2013, 12:53:45 PM
is there a tax benefit (personal or corporate) if you lose your bitcoin wallet or you lose them in a transaction or using a shady service? what about donations, are they deducted from your profit (if any)?

how does one claim that?

http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc515.html
This first link will tell you a little bit about theft deductions.  It may be very tough to explain how you "lost" bitcoins to an auditor, and I am not sure that you would win that arguement, since you could have very easily sent them to yourself or a friend and there is no way to prove that you didn't.  Personally I would not even attempt this one as it seems very risky and likely auditable.

Donations I suppose could be deducted.
http://www.irs.gov/uac/Eight-Tips-for-Deducting-Charitable-Contributions
There is a helpful link for charitable contributions deductions.  Keep in mind that they have to go to a qualified institution.  I highly doubt any places that would be considered "qualified" will accept bitcoins yet, but you never know.  You also need a receipt for your transaction and the tricky part is keeping records that this was made.  Given the anonymity of Bitcoin, it could be tough to prove that you sent the coins to a qualified organization if you get audited.

Also, itemizing your deductions is the only way to claim such a benefit, so unless your going to itemize anyway, it would not create a tax advantage.

Something is happening:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217104.0

(USB Miner price lowered to 0.99 BTC, distributors announced!)

I just imagine a bunch of guys around a work bench and computer taking bets on how many millions of dollars they are going to make with share price rising right before posting every announcment.

It is not looking good for that under bet.  Sad

Nope.

I forgot to take into account that is Espania and their douchebaggery doesn't allow them to just be satisfied with a 6-0 win.  They want to make it into the double digits.

Poor Tahiti... why were they even invited to play?  lol

For the LOLZ or possibly to lose me money.  I think either are probable.

3797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Journey from .15 btc to a motorcycle (32 btc) via sports betting OVER 1 BTC NOW! on: June 18, 2013, 08:37:34 PM
He just pm'd me back after I asked for my money back, he said to give him a few days to "sort out some major life events and ill make sure all are compensated as promised"

I do not know what this means.  If he is going through something big, my condolences to him and his family.  If it is just another ploy and he is leading us on, then it seems that hope is lost and I am sorry to anyone (including myself) who lost on this.

I saw it as a fun ride, I knew the potential that it would be a scam, hence why I only put in .8303, and it was pretty fun.  I am not sure what will happen in a couple of days.  If he comes back and makes things right I will be happy to continue along this roller coaster of a ride to make some profit off of gambling.  Otherwise good luck on future endevours all who lost money here.
3798  Economy / Auctions / Re: 12 Cairnsmore CM1 4xLX150 FPGA on: June 18, 2013, 04:41:57 AM
Yea but the value drops quickly.  Two weeks ago these exact boards were selling for 7+ coins a piece.  I sold mine about a week and a half ago for just under 5 ea, now yours are going for 4 or less.  The value of these boards drops everyday.  Where the median price is between use for bitcoin and what people will pay for other uses seems to be unknown, but based on this auction, the price seems to be between 2 to 4 coins in a couple of weeks.

Also, another one for today:

KC/Cle under 8, .12

Go Royals, my favorite days are when they win by 1 or 2 and keep the total score under 8 or 9.  They have made me a couple of hundred dollars this year by simply betting about 30 to 40 bucks each game on that.  Plus the Royals are my team and they are coming back to hopefully end with a good year!
