Thank you guys, see you around.

I've checked the marketplace for freelancers of idea and as well as the consultants. I've seen that the profiles have the check or verified accounts but there's also one that doesn't have the check. What does that mean for the only one guy that doesn't have the check on his profile?
The others don't have reviews yet and as well as this guy but those others have a check on their profile.

Actually, not only one person has no check on his profile.
There are also others. Maybe it has something to do with the verification of their profile.
But the team can clarify what that means though. They are still in beta.
I am seeing that this platform is a good one for freelancers.
However, they need to get out the word that this platform is existing.
That's what I've seen but if there are other profiles too that don't have the check then that question is for in general, for all of those that don't have it.
While the others are having it, while some can't and they're both don't have the review which is quite confusing for me. I agree that this is good for freelancers, the more the platforms the freelancers can choose, much better.

I also got in on that TP train against Aster and I might take them tomorrow against Neon as well.  Cheesy
Neon was somehow good in their games but they still lack experience so that's definitely going to be Thunder Predator tomorrow.
Watched some games and I must say I am very surprised with the level of play some teams brought here, that mainly goes for Thunder Predator. They won all their games and most of them very convincing.

Neon started well all maps I watched and had a solid lead and then broke apart and did some questionable plays which ended with them loosing that map. I am looking to take some bet like 1st tower Neon when they are underdogs, should be immense value.
TP lost a very few games but overall, they've never lost a series. Later, it's now the playoffs and Alliance was the next team that has been eliminated. There's one game that's being hype which will happen later and that's Team Secret vs. Thunder Predator.

TP gets first place but they'll play Secret in the first match of playoffs, yikes! but team secret twitter acc knows what's up, i'm sure a lot of us feel the same way about this matchup  Grin
This game is giving hype and that's what most dota 2 fans like about those professional teams social media pages, they know how to meme.  Tongue

anyone watching the Singapore Major right now? Thunder Predator looking pretty good, they turned things around and won game 1 against QC...2-0'd alliance and liquid, and they're about to 2-0 quincy crew

ok, south america dota, i see you  Shocked small stake on predator to take a map vs. Aster
SA Dotes as they say!  Grin
8-0 for this day for Thunder Predator. Tomorrow's going to be the end of the group stage and I think they'll going to have a sure spot for the playoffs.

I also got in on that TP train against Aster and I might take them tomorrow against Neon as well.  Cheesy
Neon was somehow good in their games but they still lack experience so that's definitely going to be Thunder Predator tomorrow.

you dont really like crypto if you cannot accept everything from crypto including its volatility .
so many merchants are here in crypto and they arent even afraid of the volatility but what is important for them is to serve their costumers with better payment option .
your just a merchant , your not investor and traders that cant pull out their crypto easily til they make a profit, why complain .
Merchants have the option to convert every crypto that has been paid to them into fiat easily through services like Bitpay. It's the common third party service that makes other merchants and businesses accept crypto without even thinking about the volatility.
But unlike them, Tesla has the balls accepting bitcoin payments directly and as they've said, they're not going to convert it to fiat.

Welcome to the forum. Electrum is one of the best desktop wallets that a newbie should use even people that are already long time in bitcoin, still uses this wallet.
In which country you live? You have to use an exchange for you to avail that $50 worth of bitcoin and have it transferred to your wallet. Exchange like Binance.

As he is a beginner, electrum is really a good one to use. You don't need big storage for it to install. And when it comes to exchange, yes, I will recommend also Binance. As it is pretty safe and secure dealing with this exchange especially for beginners.
And it's also being used by some with an unused laptop as your actual offline wallet. You don't connect it to the internet and you're just using it upon checking and usually connect to the web if you're going to send or generate a new wallet address.
That's your actual big hardware wallet but it's only for those that still can't avail the actual hardware wallet (ledger/trezor) as an alternative because you have it as a spare.
3788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Damn, I should've bought bitcoin earlier! on: March 28, 2021, 09:19:40 PM
Many will regret especially those close friends that we have talked a lot and even told the story of our bitcoin journey, personally. But at the end, they have just ignored it. And the time that they'll talk to us again when it's too late for them to invest and willing to put money in the table with everything that they've got and hoping and asking us if they're still good to invest by that time. And to answer that question, we'll never know if we'll just ignore them or say invest what they afford to lose.

There's no more hope for Nigma and T1 even if they win with their remaining games.
huh, for some reason i thought Nigma could win all their remaining games then wait for either VG or Monaco Gambit to lose all of their games to qualify to the next round...damn, so that's it for Nigma in the tourney, eh? bummer
Yes, they're the first to be eliminated and then T1, gambit is also out while PSG.LGD, Liquid and VG are all in for the group stage. Those were a quick wild card for this major. Usually wild cards are also taking time to get those spots for the next round but because of covid, they really have to make it quick. A few hours from now, we're already in the group stage, more interesting to watch.

If he really wants to store it in a personal wallet. With only $50 budget i would recommend oCinbase for the exchange because of cheap fees. In binance a huge amount of it goes to withdraw fees.
Storing and exchanging it are two different things. Even if the amount is $50 but if your goal is to store it for a long time, exchanges as a personal storing wallet isn't a good idea, he's better with Electrum.

Thank you all for your advice, bitcoin has been a good currency since, having believe in it will help, that is why I have to join people that will think positive about it. I thank you all reply this thread, I see this forum very useful, I have gone through some posts that are very informative and educative. I think you will see me around very often to gain more from what people are posting.
You're welcome, if there are other things that you want to ask, just post again your question or look if there are already specific topics that has been made for your question.
3791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retirement Funds Starting to Buy Bitcoins Nasdaq Say on: March 27, 2021, 09:36:05 PM
Years ago IIRC, there have been people who have already talked about this. They're putting a sum of their money to bitcoin and they'll forget it as it will serve as their retirement.

I always thought that btc is too risky for such kind of funds
It is risky in a sense if they don't understand what bitcoin is. But if they're aware what could be the risk that it has and I guess they're ready to take it and they're fine to do so.

Binance free? I doubt,
Sometimes they really don’t charge. If I can remember, they have pointed the fee as 0-150 BTC. So, if you are a good project, Binance will list. See the Superfarm listing announcement from Binance, they have listed it in innovation zone and as per Binance it was free. I don’t have idea about secret dealing though which I doubt.
This is right. I remember CZ has said but I can't remember if that's on a tweet of him that if a project really is good and amusing and passed on the standards that he and Binance has set, they won't charge you any single penny just for the listing. And they have a voting feature just like other exchanges that will list them tokens that will win the community's vote.

DOTA2: Finally nice to see some top teams/inter region fight against each other. Feel sad for Nigma who are win-less in 6 maps in a row. They are the "wildcard" and there was nothing wild about them.
There's no more hope for Nigma and T1 even if they win with their remaining games. While for PSG.LGD, they still have the chance to be included to the 3 teams that will get in for the group stages. Too sad watching these two teams that have replaced their off lane because of the covid-19. I think they'll perform better if MC and Kuku is with them instead of their replacement. Anyway, GGs to them. What I'm amaze to watch is with team Liquid and Gambit, they're showing how strong they are.
3795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it so hard to make one Good coin? on: March 26, 2021, 10:03:06 PM
This has nothing to do with bitcoin discussion. Move your thread elsewhere like in Altcoin Discussion. Don't anymore to the number of altcoins, there were a lot of them and just do your own experimentation for which is faster based on your experience.
Each coin has their own speed and rate in fee so that's why you need to make your own research and once done, make your own basis through using them.

The One Esports Singapore Major is about to come. But there were a lot of substitutes for some teams because some of their players got tested positive for covid-19. They're at least 5 players got tested positive and won't be able to attend but were replaced.
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ONE_Esports/Singapore_Major/2021
yooo, this is key info! 👍 i was ready to start throwing mbtc to teams i didn't know were going to have stand-ins. Kinda sucks that mind_control won't be part of Nigma. And Navi will miss two players, devastating blow.
2 more days!
Actually there's another update about NaVi, they're no longer going to play and also beastcoast. This virus has really made a lot of unexpected things and even this awaited first LAN during the pandemic has broken our expectation.
Kuku won't be able to play and other players too, that's just sad but still the action goes on March 27.
Its not just NaVi that was really affected. Most teams from NA really garnered problems because some of their players got the Virus and most teams are already looking for Stand Ins which really sucks since everybody was expecting every team to be ready with their original lineup.

It also sucks for players within the SEA region because they are already within SEA but contracting the virus is really something that they focused on and not force them to be healthy immediately. Everybody's health is the priority of Valve and I would hope that they will do something about it.
Yeah, I see YawaR's team still in need of one player. Who knows if Ramzes will be adopted by them if they still don't have a player for their last position or it could be sumail but I don't think he'll play pos 4.
Since Ramzes is already on Singapore after the announcement of the management that they'll no longer participate, I think that's a good choice for Yawar's team.

As a beginner I want to really understand what am in for so I can consider if it really worth my time.
You're the one who can answer and know what you really want to know and what's worth your time reading and discussing.

I love reading, but I haven't gotten any area yet to develop more on. I read general topics. Am considering investing in crypto knowledge my quest brought me here having been introduced to me by a friend and colleague but am yet to figure out how to explore the forum
Then start to know about the market. You can start with bitcoin on speculation and learn some analysis and thoughts of traders there. There's also the Trading discussion and Altcoin Discussion to follow.

i bet that as soon as they started practicing they knew how screwed they were by watching washed up Mag playing again lol

Kuku will also miss the major, and now Borax from Aster will also miss the tourney...wtf?? stay tuned cos anything can happen in the next 13 hours until round-robin starts

talking about the start of this major, i'm gonna pull an all-nighter and try to watch at least 3 games, Liquid - Nigma, Liquid - PSG.LGD and T1 - VG...anyone else?  Smiley  btw, bookmakers have Vici Gaming to win at 1.81, worth it considering T1 will play with a stand-in? 🤔
I've read the tweet probably from one of the NaVi managers that they're no longer going to play and as he tweet that post, Ramzes is already in Singapore, poor Ramzes.  Grin
Yeah, Borax(boboka) will miss the major due to the reason of this: Aster's Borax cannot make Singapore DPC due to Prostitution
As for T1, forev is a good off lane but I don't think that it's worth putting your money with them since it's better if it's Kuku.
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with high fees on: March 26, 2021, 03:30:49 PM
All coins Transactions have high fees.
Not all of them, there are still few coins that have less to no fee.

What to use its best Now?
What is the lowest fees Transactions stable coins?
TRC20 is what the usual public chain that's being used to save fees.

Xrp are cheap and Fast but its not stablecoin.
I feel safe only if I use stable coins When the money is in btc I Can't sleep.
Anyways so what coins are cheap to use?

I dont see point of coins When You pay huge Transaction fees!
Bitcoin became expensive if you're looking to the transaction value in USD. But nothing have really changed ever since if you're counting to the fee of it and compare back it before the bull run.
3800  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading on exchanges. What’s behind it? on: March 25, 2021, 11:39:25 PM
I think this was already discussed when people have found out about PayPal's new news about their adoption and addition for buying crypto into their platform.
I get your thought about exchanges having off chain transactions and that's fine that they do it to save fees and there's no problem if you're looking at it. It saves you and them fees. And as for the supply limit of crypto, yes, that matters. And it all relies to the law of supply and demand how to determine the value of a crypto.
Yes, that's correct.
Because they are also questioned before if they really have Bitcoin in their stash or it will just simply imply a number in your account.
I don't really know how they do that or how they continue doing it.
Is there even someone checking the legitimacy of holding Bitcoin by these accounts?

But comparing to the stock market or even the fiat, some of them are also illusions supplied by banks.
You have millions in your account but yet they won't let you have it all in one swoop.
I bet exchanges took that idea from them.  Grin
It probably are just numbers just like the exchanges but when you're withdrawing it then they have to send you the actual withdrawal and bitcoin.
They're legitimate in a sense that they're a business and they're permitted to do that type of buy and sell model. I'm not updated how is it today because I've never used their service. But there's a better explanation above.
